Service was amazing! Cashier and waiter were so nice and sweet. Chicken and potatoes flautas were amazing, queda birria was amazing!! The birria ramen was a little bit salty for my liking but still good and the concha ice cream was amazing!! The nutty flavor with the vanilla and concha was so good! 9/10 will definitely be coming back!

Amazing food! Their Burro is large and lots of meat inside! Their Super Fries were fantastic too!!

Delicious birria con queso tacos and Watermelon Rita. Consome served with birria tacos! Soooo good! Beautiful colors and fun decor and great patio seating area. If you’re looking for an unforgettable meal, Rollie's is the place to go! Their birria con queso tacos are absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy on the outside, filled with tender, flavorful birria and cheese and paired with rich, savory consomé for dipping. Every bite is packed with bold, authentic flavors, making it a must-try for any taco lover. To complement the tacos, the Watermelon Rita is a refreshing delight! It’s the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and boozy, making it an ideal choice for a warm day or just to treat yourself. Beyond the incredible food and drinks, Rollie's offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The beautiful colors and fun decor create a lively and inviting space, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends. The great patio seating area is a huge bonus—spacious, comfortable, and a fantastic spot to enjoy your meal while soaking in the fresh air. All kid friendly! From the amazing flavors to the stylish ambiance, Rollie's delivers an all-around fantastic dining experience. Whether you’re a birria fan or just looking for a fun and flavorful spot to enjoy great food and drinks, this place won’t disappoint. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Google
The food was good. We had birria tacos and carne asada tacos with a concha ice cream sandwich. The service was very good

Google
This place is absolutely amazing! The food is outstanding, authentic, and so delicious. The service is so kind, especially to tourists (which we obviously were). And the place is so awesome to sit down and eat! We absolutely loved it. We got a few different items that had birria and I can’t even express how good each one was. 10/10 this is a restaurant you should go out of your way for if near Tucson.

Google
I was recommended the birria ramen and tacos by a friend. I got those two items to go and I would’ve gotten a marg too, but they don’t do those to go. The ramen noodles, cilantro, green onion, and chopped cabbage were in a separate container from the birria and consomé. That was a nice surprise! The consomé and birria had nutmeg but not too much. It was all delicious!!! I lived in San Antonio and now New Mexico, and I haven’t had good birria since TX. This was delicious. I would like to try their pizza next. The taco was equally delicious! No cheese inside or a consomé tortilla— both were unexpected for birria but it worked well for the taco. I will definitely be back to try more food and the margaritas :)

Google
When your barber tells you to check it out for nana tacos you listen. And the Birria ramen slaps.

Google
Loved this small, open-air restaurant. Service was friendly, prices reasonable, and food was excellent. Plenty of unique dishes to order, and the salsas are available from mild to hot and everything in between. The location is interesting. There are several buildings with murals close by to Rollies. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Rollies is a Tucson iconic institution. You have to try it once. From its colorful walls and piñata artwork to its festive music, friendly staff, and delicious reasonably priced food it shouldn't be missed. This place is popular so if you run out of parking there is additional parking on the side. Credit cards are accepted here with a small convenience charge. They also serve alcohol and have delicious watermelon margaritas. I've been here several times and I always get their go to rolled tacos. You can pick rojos or queso sauce or for a small upcharge you can have both. The jamaica drink is not too sweet but has tartness and it's pretty good. If you are on the fence, just go. It's worth the drive.

Yelp
Food was yummy- they offer really good salsas! The rolled tacos were a good amount of food but not so much you overeat My husband liked the super fries a lot The green salsa is super refreshing, limey and spicy! The horchata was bad- watered down with no flavor
google avatar

Yelp
3 years later, still extremely delicious. Kind service, great food, clean. Loved it.

Yelp
Small dinning room but great food! Some Mexican places give you so much rice, beans, etc. but this place is just the food you need without all the filler. Went for the Rollies but left wanting more carne asada tacos! I threw some of the queso from my chicken rollies on the carne tacos.. BOMB. Will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
Stopped in on Saturday with my daughter and two grandkids for lunch while grabbing corn across the street for our annual green corn tamale making session. The small parking lot was really busy at Rollies! Order at the counter and you'll be given a number and food will be delivered promptly. Between us we had several orders of birria rolled tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, a couple of Jarritos sodas and some horchata. The grandson hogged the burrito so I didn't get to taste it but he said it was good. I tend to judge Mexican restaurants by their refried beans. The birria in the rolled tacos was very flavorful and they were topped with chopped cabbage and quite delicious. Unfortunately they only had pumpkin spiced horchata which is a flavor I don't enjoy. It was the only horchata offered so I stuck with the Jarritos. Rollies menu is pretty small but the taste and quality is definitely there.

Yelp
Stopped in for Taco Tuesday, and I'm glad I did. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations. It's a small menu that packs lots of flavor. I got the birria tacos and guacamole. I've had birtia before, yet there is a reason this place was voted 1 of the best! The flavors were explosive, fresh hint of spice, and the meat was tender. The guacamole was super fresh and had food flavor. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Stopped by Rollies at the Annex and honestly, this location is such a vibe. Chill atmosphere, great service, and hands down the best Sonoran hot dog in Tucson. Perfect spot to kick back, eat, and enjoy the day.
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
I love this annex complex and Rollies is one of the go tos. The Sonoran hot dog was delicious and their taco was also fantastic. I also had a pretty cheesy dish which was honestly a bit mediocre. However the food was ready pretty quickly which helps. Overall would recommend trying!
google avatar

Raeann Q.

Yelp
Someone mentioned a cafeteria feel and I can definitely agree with that. It's cute and cozy, parking lot is pretty small but we came in the middle of a day on Saturday and didn't have any trouble parking or waiting for food. We ordered the queso birria, birria rolled tacos with both queso and the rojo sauce and beans and rice. Rolled birria with queso and rojo they were good! Presentation was super pretty with the sauces. It had this sweetness to it I can't place, maybe cocoa? Anyway something had a sweetness to it I can't place. The birria tacos were pretty good, decent amount of meat. Not the best birria I've had but definitely not the worst. I honestly think the beans and rice were the best, traditional beans and rice you'd fine at someone's carne asada cook out. Fast and friendly service.

Yelp
I've lived in Tucson for 3 years now and still am not sure about the different between rolled tacos, flautas, and taquitos. But I know I like them all, no matter the name! I've pretty much only ordered the rolled tacos at Rollies and they're always delicious - both the chicken and the potato. Last visit I for the family pack which gave us a little bit of everything - 3 of each rolled taco, queso fries, a quesadilla, rice and beans. Even sharing it we had some leftovers. The location as changed some and was patio seating but it's now enclosed which is super helpful when it's the dead of summer heat. It's a popular place, so be prepared to wait some for your food. But it's a great local place and I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy the food.
google avatar

Yelp
Service took so long, twice! I appreciate the wide menu and love a good potato option. Their menu wasn't very descriptive so it was difficult to know what base the different foods were on without asking. They have a few different vegan options, but also didn't seem to know the menu and know if they were able to add things to the tacos or the baked potato. The salsas were really good and I liked that they included both red and green so you could get different flavors. Service was okay, but why did it take over 15 minutes to get one taco when there was no one else in front of me. I would go to other options if I were to eat here again.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Just eat here! The food is AMAZING - tacos, drinks, ambience- it is a place you must eat at - any location!
google avatar

Yelp
Note: the menu behind "full menu" on here is outdated (likely 2023 based on prices). We dropped in at 12:30p on a weekday and it was packed. Had to wait a few minutes for a parking spot to open and, upon entering, there was one table open for the three of us! We ordered the newer Birria Pizzadilla (basically two 10-inch flour tortillas with birria and cheese piled in between and pan fried - $21 + 45c credit card fee). Ordering at the counter was easy (and delightful) with the woman describing several recommended options. The Pizzadilla took about 15 minutes and the three of us devoured all 8 slices in about 10 minutes, Lol. There's a soda/water fountain (all in one) that includes plain and carbonated waters (yay)! Tip: there are no napkin dispensers anywhere and birria is messy endeavor, so be sure to ask for a bunch of napkins before the food arrives so you can eat uninterrupted :) In terms of comparison, it's so hard... Tucson is blessed. But I think I still prefer Amelia's, La Frida's, and Carnitas Los Reyes... by a nose, only because Rollies' birria was a tad too salty we all thought. But if I'm in this area, I wouldn't hesitate to grab my lunch from Rollies!

Yelp
I went to the MSA Annex location for lunch and ordered 3 birria cheesy tacos! They're so Delicious and come with a side of consommé for dipping.
google avatar

Yelp
Rollies delivers every time. Can't believe it took me this long to post a review. The menu offering are quite special and must reflect the owner's creative culinary vision . Most times I opt for the rollies , simple rolled tacos. Best in town.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Nice lunch spot for rolled tacos. The potato, chicken, and birria are all pretty good. The ice cream concha desert might be my favorite indulgence from the menu and I loved all of the bright mural artwork.
google avatar

Don C.

Yelp
Great family restaurant. We got the pizzadilla which has carne asada in the middle, cheese casadilla, and a beautiful sauce on the top. It was delicious. We also got Nana's street tacos and they were perfect for my mother that does not like spicy food. The servers were kind, polite and timely. This was our first time and I brought my extended family and I recommend this to others. Thank you.
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
The birria tacos are good! But the birria ramen just didnt taste right unfortunately. Really wanted to like it. The food did get to me fast Not in the greatest area and the place closes really early I'm guessing for that reason. The margaritas are decent.
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
I've tried this place 2x. Once via pickup and once with a large group. Atmosphere is welcoming. It reminds me of a school cafeteria with a bunch of tables. Food: the birria and enchiladas were amazing. Parking: small parking lot Overall: I would recommend
google avatar

Mac M.

Yelp
Had the most delicious and delightful meal at Rollies. It was a chilly day but I loved the open air feel of the restaurant. The gal who took our order was friendly and explained our options (first-timers!). Super cute decor and style and delicious affordable food. We got the rollies of course and they were so crispy (chicken and birria) and topped with fresh lettuce and other goodies. Loved the whole experience!
google avatar

Ramona S.

Yelp
Excellent Sonoran hotdogs! The best in the area. Great tacos too! You can have beer and wine nearby as well as coffee and desert! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Genevieve M.

Yelp
The hype is real! Birria is a hit or miss for me generally - but here it's definitely a hit! We went around 1:30-2 and despite it being past the lunch hour- it was a constant stream of business. Service was quick. Parking can be a little tight ... but worth the experience. And to add to this, learned they are opening a location at the MSA annex!
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
So delicious-I had the chicken taco rolls and my husband the beef tacos. highly recommend!
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
Loved Rollies and will definitely return. The Birria is excellent and so many yummy options that it's hard to decide. And the beers are cold. Loved the patio and relaxed atmosphere. If you haven't been go, it's great.
google avatar

Yelp
Micheladas are bomb. Birria is bomb. Traditional flat style sonoran enchiladas. Good ambiance, friendly staff. Cold beer.
google avatar

Natalie D.

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for the longest time and finally did it! You order at the window and they give you a number, and will bring out your order to you. I got the birria rollies with a side of guacamole. I also got an horchata, which was pumpkin flavored for October and it was so good! The food was delicious, nice and crispy and the guac complimented it so well. If they weren't so far from me, I'd definitely visit more often.
google avatar

Honey K.

Yelp
Found this guys on TikTok and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted good. The birria was one of the best I've had. My picky kid enjoyed the fries so much. Their guacamole was delicious and creamy. That alone is already worth the trip. My only complaint is the smell of the cleaner Fabolouso that they are using on their floors was too overwhelming and kind of ruin the enjoyment of the meal. Will probably order to go next time.

Yelp
Stopped by coming in for a week stay in Tucson had seen many reviews and praise on this place and let me start with the atmosphere it was a really nice laid back very welcoming and the food reasonably priced the quality extremely exceptional loved the whole idea of this place and the food that brings a good feeling we will definitely be making rollies a must when stopping in Tucson! Thank you guys!

Yelp
Oh wow we over ordered! This was only for three people! We were in southern Arizona for a few days and this seemed like the most authentic Mexican street food. It was delicious. Relaxing atmosphere. Quick service. Delicious meal! We loved it.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
I haven't been to every Birria joint in Tucson but I've been to a lot of them and this place is fantastic. Welcoming and rustic atmosphere with friendly efficient staff and really scrumptious food. Nana's tacos are the old fashioned half moon ground beef and the Birria tacos are crispy, bursting with bold flavors and a rich delicious broth for dipping. Don't miss this one, it's a real gem and worth the drive. Period.

Yelp
I've been excited to try this place for quite some time. It's just a bit out of the way for me. So when attended a football game at Sunnyside high I figured it was on my way home and I'd finally get to try it. I ordered the rolled birria tacos (their signature item) and the flat birria enchiladas. The rolled tacos were less than stellar. The tortillas were too hard, perhaps stale? Not very good flavor so they were a pass for me. The flat enchiladas were the star. Cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and soft inside. The birria had great flavor (it had none in the rolled tacos) and the toppings were a great accompaniment. Red enchilada sauce, cabbage, onion, green olives, cheese and crema. I would drive back just for these. I did notice most of the other diners ordered everything but the rolled tacos. Maybe they need to lighten up on the fry time so the outer shell isn't so over done or make them to order so they don't taste stale. The super fries, birria ramen and nanas tacos seemed to be the most popular order. I'll be back to try other items but I won't be trying the rolled tacos again.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!! The rollies, ie. rolled tacos are the most crispy, handmade yummy taquitos I have ever had. I am too, used to all the 'bertos" type rolled tacos, straight from a box from Costco. These were awesome. I did buy a dise of guacamole bc that is how I grew up eating them in San Diego. I got a quesa birria taco and it was bomb.....I should have gotten 3 of these and called it a day, but I wanted to try as much as I could feasibly stomach, and take home for later. The last part of my order was the birria ramen. It was delicious a few hours later. The restaurant is a typical taco walk up type of space. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The service I had was great. It took a long time to get my food, but admitedly there was a lot there. Inside it's decorated very simply. A few tables and chairs and trash canisters. Very casual. I am 100% coming back. It was worth the drive. (I am up in the foothills)
google avatar

Yelp
Taco restaurant on the southside of Tucson known for its rolled tacos. Nice patio sitting. Casual. Friendly staff

Yelp
Second time we've been here, only regretting it hasn't been more. Yet. This time I tried the veggie burrito. So good. I loved the mild salsa that paired perfectly with it. Our order was taken immediately by the friendly woman at the window, who helped us through any decisions we needed to make. Food came pretty quickly and we dove in. Lovely relaxed restaurant with beautiful Mexican artwork. I only wished we had more stomach room.
google avatar

Sherri M.

Yelp
What a great find! I picked Rollies randomly based on proximity and couldn't have been happier. The place was pretty full at lunchtime. We ordered at the counter and were able to snag the last open table. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it. Best birria tacos I've ever had. Also shared loaded carne fries and they were fantastic. Even without the fries, two tacos were very filling. Not the cheapest but you will leave full. I hope to return so I can try more of the menu! The birriapizza looks amazing.
google avatar

Jodi H.

Yelp
From what I can tell it looks like the menu has been scaled down. I kept looking here on yelp, but it looks like they've really cut back. As a result, not as many choices for this picky person. The food we had was really good I just wish some of the old choices were still available like seafood tacos. But give it a go, you may find, it will satisfy your hunger bone.
google avatar

Jerry H.

Yelp
If not the best definitely top 3 Mexican food spots in Tucson. Potato Rollies didn't sound that interesting but I was wrong. Totally wrong. The rice and beans were excellent as well. Interesting scene here as well. It's all types. When seated the patio element feels like you should be beach side. Parking lot is tight but easily manageable. It comes up fast so pay attention room to your gps carefully. So damn good!

Yelp
With out of state family coming to Tucson we thought this would be a good time to try Rollies. Between us we had Nanas tacos, Rolled tacos, Birria Burro, Family Pack and Birria Raman plus Margaritas, beer, Mexican sodas, and horchata. The Margaritas were excellent - generous with the tequila. :) We went at a busy times so it took some time to get our meals but the wait was worth it. Service was good and the ambiance pleased our visitors who had never been anywhere like Rollies. Nanas tacos were almost as good as homemade, particularly when covered in their hot salsa, which also hit the spot. The birria raman was a surprise with the broth being the star. The wife thought the birria burro was the best she had ever had. All in all, Rollies is a winner. We will be going back!

Wayno G.

Yelp
I ordered the flat enchilada. It was actually pretty flavourless, but plenty salty. The taste for me was very non-distinct. The salt over powered everything. I was expecting something flavourful, not a salt lick. Very disappointing. Typical non-descriptive Mexican food. Visually, it looked like something t might give to a dog.
google avatar

Leticia L.

Yelp
I haven't seen anyone trying nanas tacos? Only the rolled tacos , those r easy made. Haven't gone back , I was told not to go back to his place of business.
google avatar

Lindsay D.

Yelp
Rolled tacos and best birria in Tucson. Several different hot sauces. Watermelon margarita with a popsicle.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Amazing food but has the Best Birria in town and you can't forget the Horchata is amazing.

Yelp
We arrived at about 12:30PM. There was a lengthy line and we wondered if we would have to sit in the patio because it was definitely filled with lunchtime guests. After placing our order there was a table open. We had an appointment at 1:30 elsewhere so we had to change our order from dine-in to a to-go order. We received our order at about 1:20. Thankfully, the appointment location wasn't far and we arrived on time. After letting our food sit in the car for about 15 minutes due to the appointment, we were able to dig in! My husband was surprised to find that the cheesy birria tacos were still steaming hot. He did like their taste. I liked it better with some lime juice on it. I ordered the carne asada fries. They were unique tasting from any other carne asada fries I ever had. The fries were seasoned, unlike other carne asada fries I have had. It is topped with an orange sauce that made it taste unique. The mild salsa added to it was a good compliment. My husband's perspective on them, however, was that they were "bland," or "missing something." I think it was just the fact that he went from his cheesy birria tacos to my carne asada fries without a drink in between. He had the horchata and I had a Jamaica. I got up for ice two different times so if you get the Jamaica, be sure to fill your cup with ice!
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I'm a Tucson native but have never been here! Fun atmosphere! Makes you feel like you're in a fun little Mexican food stand! Lots of seating and great friendly service. Not to mention delicious food! Will make sure to return next time I come back home!!!
google avatar

Candy C.

Yelp
After traveling through 3 states this week, this was the food that was the highlight of the trip. Everything was SO GOOD! Everything we got was delish. My Dad said he wanted to plan the next trip around this place so we can come back to it. Thank you for the great service and amazing food.
google avatar

Rebecca I.

Yelp
I heard this place was amazing and it didn't disappoint. The rolled tacos are so good and unique. I can't wait to go back and get more. I also had the Pumpkin Horchata when it was available that was delicious. The staff is super friends and fast. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This is the second time I visit this place and it is BOMB!!! You better try it asap! The food is good, the service is amazing and the ambience is super cool. It's different fro. Other Mexican places but absolutely great!

Joyce S.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, parking is a bit of a challenge, but my meal was totally worth it. Excellent and friendly service from the ordering to the delivery of our food. Highly recommend the birria pizza thing-it will knock your socks off!

Mark T.

Yelp
Another classic place in Tucson for Mexican food. It doesn't disappoint. It is a cute little building on S12th Ave, with Rollies in bright pink letters. The service is good, but a little slow, because everything is made fresh to order. The Birria Rojo Cheesy (AKA quesabirria) is the main attraction for me. The absolutely delicious dipped and fried tacos are served with a small cup of jus on the side that is made from the beef braising liquid and rendered fat. Dip the taco in the jus and take a bite. It is a food nirvana. There are many other items, such as picoso (spicy) chicken sandwich, and famous Rollies (rolled tacos), and traditional street tacos. Don't miss it.
