The WORST pasta I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the Alfredo pasta with broccoli, chicken and even added shrimp. I’ve tasted better pasta at Olive Garden and that’s a low bar to me. The shrimp appeared overcooked and the overall flavor of the pasta tasted nothing like Alfredo sauce… the only positives are that the chicken was seasoned and cooked well and the garlic bread wasn’t burnt.

This place is absolutely adorable, and the food is always incredible. The bread rolls alone are worth the visit—so warm and fluffy, they're to die for! My go-to dish is the chicken piccata pasta—perfectly tangy, flavorful, and comforting. The staff is always kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a cozy and delicious meal!

My husband and I were craving pizza after walking all over Stonebriar Mall, and we’re so glad we found this spot. We started with the buffalo wings, and my husband—who orders wings everywhere—said they were some of the best he’s had. They were gone in two minutes! We split the Florentine and Supreme pizzas. The Florentine was absolutely incredible—my husband was low-key jealous he didn’t order it himself. The crust was perfectly crunchy, and the sauce-to-cheese-to-topping ratio was spot on. We live about 40 minutes away and still can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving real, satisfying Italian food!

I drove over 30 minutes to try this place out based on the reviews. I was definitely not disappointed. Salad, rolls were great and I think that’s was the best cheese ravioli I’ve ever had. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. I will def be back.

Second time here, couldn’t wait to come back. Had the most amazing, delicious dinner. For appetizer we had the stuffed mushrooms.. this isn’t your typical stuffed mushroom, they are over generous with the lobster chunks. 😍 For dinner, there was three of us..Person 1, Romas Combo which included Chicken Parm, Cheese Ravioli, & Fettucine Alfredo (5 stars, ravioli was the favorite). Person 2, new menu item, Lobster Ravioli, (5 stars), again, generous with the lobster.. ravioli was stuffed with lobster & cheese & then topped with chunks of lobster & sauce. Person 3, Romas spicy chicken & shrimp, what I had.. this was crazy good.. Chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and onions with Alfredo over penne. (5 stars). Please forgive me for these names lol but they wanted me to shout them out this way.. Tony Macaroni & Hobby Lobby.. Yall gave the best service & attention to us. Best Italian place I’ve been to near Dallas. As an appetizer, we got the sweet chili pizza, which was a great choice. The dough was amazing and it was baked to perfection. My main was the Chicken Murphy, which had perfectly cooked pasta and a great sauce that gave it balance. My family members got the Branzino Risotto: it was so fresh it felt like it got caught and prepped tableside. We had the Tiramisu for dessert which was phenomenal. Met Jimmy, he was very personable. Cannot recommend this place enough; if you want good Italian come here.

This place is real authentic Italian! YUM don’t skip on the place if you are craving pasta. So good! Great staff and service never went without my water glass being full! Would highly recommend and will defiantly be coming back! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL establishment ! Soooo gooooooood!

What a great experience!! First time trying Roma’s after reading some fantastic reviews. The restaurant is very nice and the staff was just awesome. We tried the bruschetta, Roma’s special pasta in spicy cream sauce with chicken and shrimp and the chicken Marsala. Everything was absolutely delicious. We finished with the homemade tiramisu which was delicate and so yummy. I highly recommend and will be back for more.

Food was fantastic. The staff were kind and courteous and the ambiance is good. We will definitely return.

Was in town visiting. Pizza was perfect, very tasty. One of the waitresses offered me a drink while I was waiting. Would order again.

Food is ok and not great. The restaurant is empty during lunch time. We are the only table there.

Fast, friendly service Good food Reasonable prices Clean restaurant The garlic rolls came out before our pizza and they were hot and soft. The sweet chili chicken and bacon pizza was hot, toppings were generous, and the crust was crisp. I also asked for a side of marinara and it was very good. I will definitely try a pasta dish next time. The restaurant was clean but what really stood out to me was how clean the restroom was. I appreciate this! I also really appreciated that even though a very large party came in, we were not overlooked or ignored. The good service continued. Overall, really nice experience.

We walked in at 1pm on a Friday and there was only 2 tables of people. We were seated immediately. I was a little confused as there is no hostess stand that I saw anywhere. The place is cute. Quaint. Very clean. We ordered the manicotti and it was missing something. Seems like the ricotta cheese maybe. Kinda bland too. Not a lot of flavor. We also ordered a jimmys pizza I think it was called. The pizza is pretty good. I liked it better than the manicotti. The bread they bring out is pretty basic too. This place is pretty far from my home so I won't be making any special trips to come out here.

Great little surprise restaurant that did not disappoint. My husband and I both had chicken parmesan which was really good (the chicken was a little thin, but tasty). Instead of spaghetti, I had a side of fettuccine Alfredo and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was great and the service was perfect.

My son and I went there for lunch. The place was not busy, so we got seated right away. The service was fast and very friendly. The waiter came to check on us a few times to make sure we got taken care of. I ordered bruschetta for appetizers, the bread was buttery , crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. My son and I liked it , but I think it would be even better if they cut back a bit on balsamic. My son ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce which he loved and he cleaned his plate. I got the fettuccine carbonara with mushrooms. It's tasted good and I can definitely taste the mushroom in the sauce , however I prefer the traditional carbonara sauce. My son started eating the strawberry cheesecake before I could take a picture of it! The place was not noisy so it's a good place for conversation.

Love their food, just wish they actually FILLED the cannolis rather than leave the middle empty.

Friendly service and amazing food ! First time here and we loved it, I'm glad we found a flavorful Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and delicious plates , even the kids plates are really good. We had a sampler trio for appetizer and the lobster ravioli and the seafood special (my favorite ). Jimmy our server was super helpful and very attentive with my 4 y/o daughter. Definitely recommend !!

Pleasantly surprised that this place is actually Romanian Italian! Yazzzz we were stoked to find that out when we arrived. We came for lunch on a Sat and we're seated right away. We got a window seat and this place is very well lit. We were hungry and ordered right away: personal margharita pizza, caprese salad, and Romanian sausage. Man, the Romanian sausage was on point! Really flavorful and comes with two sides. This was perfect if you have someone who doesn't eat carbs! The sausage was cooked to perfect and had a nice bite to it and seasoned well. The pizza comes out on an elevated tray and had fresh ingredients on top. The crust was crunchy, good balance of cheese and sauce. I loved the caprese salad, it was fresh and had thick slices of cheese drizzled with olive oil and huge chunks of salt. I'm not a salt person so I wasn't crazy about biting into gritty pieces of salt but my LO likes salt and loved that. What made our experience was the little bread rolls that came out while we were waiting for our entrees. Scrumptious little pieces of heaven. For that alone, I will be back here to eat. We gobbled them up right away!

Amazing from the bruschetta to the garlic knots, baked manicotti and spaghetti with meat sauce. Great service! Amazing food!! We will be back!!

The food I've had was excellent! I've had lasagna and pizza. The Greek salad was the best I've ever had, and the presentation was beautiful. The service is prompt, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is like an Italian kitchen. It's colorful and very clean.

WHY IS THIS PLACE NOT THE BUSIEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN PLANO?? We have lived in Plano for 15 years, and been to all of the restaurants around. We tried this place tonight and it ABSOLUTELY will now be on our list of regular places to visit! Come give this place a try, and you will not be disappointed! It changed ownership 6 months ago, but did not change the name. Everything was delicious, pasta, and deserts (we will try pizza next time, and I will update). There are a number of TVs, and wine! Plano needs more spots like this so come give them a shot! I'm back to add my review of the pizza. It's amazing like everything else!

So this place has only been open for 6months !! I have to say WOW ! WOW!! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious! It's a little hole in the wall and you know those are the BEST ONES !! Great hospitality! Very friendly ! Great flavor !

Marinara sauce was fresh and delicious. Garlic bread was also a highlight!! Was also impressed with the cleanliness.

Dropped by on a whim and we really enjoyed it! We got the stuffed cabbage, lasagna and chicken schnitzel and it was all great! The owner, Lucian, was friendly and welcoming - and his wife was a fantastic cook. It's a cliche, but we really felt like we were eating from someone's kitchen instead of a restaurant down the street. Definitely recommended, we'll be back (support local!).

The stuffed mushroom was amazing. The clam linguini wasn't to my liking and I was okay just not eating it, but waitress offered another dish. I said it was okay since I was very happy with the stuffed mushroom appetizer. She then offered to get me that dish so I agreed. That was very nice of her. My buddy really liked his dish (plano something). So 2 out of 3 dishes were really good. The service was amazing and I will definitely come back.

Food was excellent, garlic buns were great. The lasagne and manicotti were fresh pasta. Attentive wait staff without imposing. Would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here last night. The pasta dishes, salad and bread were all outstanding! Everything on the menu looks great. The personal service and atmosphere were also top notch. Our new favorite Italian restaurant!

"Nothing brings people together like good food." When I think about Romania the only thing that comes to mind is Dracula! Sadly, no Dracula at this location - but I promise you will not be disappointed if you stop by. Roma's Italian Kitchen was an extraordinary experience for our tastebuds. Romania with a touch of Italy? Sign me up! We started our evening with Salată de Vinete (Eggplant Salad) and Calamari. Both were fantastic, but we loved the eggplant salad as it was refreshing on a warm evening. The smoky tangy flavor paired with sliced tomatoes and bread had our stomachs craving for more. For the main dishes we ordered Mititei (a type of Romanian grilled meat roll or skinless sausage made with a mixture of beef, lamb, pork, garlic, and spices), Carbonara Tradizionali and Spicy Shrimp Alfredo. All 3 dishes were fantastic, and we truly had no complaints other than we wish our stomachs were bigger to take in more food. They also have a great selection of wines, beers, and desserts to satisfy all your cravings. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the evening with the owner, Lucian, who was kind enough to stick around and chat for a bit while we finished up our evening. You can feel the sense of pride and enjoyment he has created at Roma's and we can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and checkout Roma's and order some authentic Romanian food that is delicious, filling and very savor! I promise you will not be disappointed!

Friday night's "what should we do for take out" convo started with us wanting something different, avoid our go-to's. Came upon Romas on Yelp... Romanian food = different! We ordered over the phone from the same woman who owns the place and is their cook (love places like this!!). She helped with some questions, we landed on an app, two entrees and a pair of desserts. Meatball app is a Romanian dish - served with mustard and little rolls. Meat had maybe a dill hint? Pretty good, different. The lasagna was alright- very smooth, almost creamy and felt decadent on the tongue. The noodles were very soft and lost - I prefer them a bit firm or somewhat al dente. Also not saucey like the lasagna I'm used to - this might be the Romanian influence. it was so rich and creamy it could use an acid like a tomato based sauce to cut it. The cabbage rolls were a really nice change of pace... the filling was similar to the rice mix in a dolma. I'm not the biggest cabbage fan but you can't even pick up a cabbage flavor, serves more as a casing. Now the desserts were a home run. Like light a cigarette after cuz it was so good! The tiramisu wasn't your typical... less firm, more of a cream. But ohhh what an absolutely indulgent, silky wonderfully flavored cream! And the liquor soaked fingers = everything! We also had I believe their Amandine cake described as a "forest cake with chocolate cream, covered in chocolate ". It has very finely diced nuts. Tasty, rich and a good size serving. While placing our order, the lovely owner recommended a special marshmallow dessert. I absolutely cringe at the mention of marshmallow as I think of the Uber sugary junk you put on s'mores. When we picked up our order, she threw in a piece of this marshmallow thing and said she thought we might really dig it. And dang did we. If I had eaten it without knowing what it was called, I never would have guessed "marshmallow ". This delicate, beautiful concoction was similar to a meringue topped with a beautiful crème and a bit of strawberry. This was another dish that provided an amazing textural experience and great mouth feel. The owner was not only super helpful but sweet, kind and grateful Will definitely return to try other items on the menu. I give our entrees 3 stars (hey, tried something different), the desserts 5 and the fantastic service & hospitality 5+ stars.

Very clean and the food is incredible! Our meals were delicious, but I recommend saving room for the rolls, Caesar salad and the cannolis. Best cannoli I've ever had. Hands down.

Payed 22 for a pizza that taste identical to a frozen pizza, especially the toppings.The tomato sauce did not reassemble any Italian place I've tried. The crust is legit identical to something you find at Cicis pizza. I'm not sure this place will stay in business like the other 3 pizza places that were here before. Yes I will stick to a better pizza place, giving y'all a chance.I guess you guys just flat out cut corners selling low quality pizza and saying it's Italian food. owner even confirmed their not a pizza place, try Za Lat where they are a pizza place

What a great surprise! We dropped in not realizing that this wonderful gem included Romanian cuisine. We tried a little of everything including wonderful Romanian wine (Merlot) - all of what we tried was excellent! We will be back often Great plus!! amazing staff! So helpful making recommendations

Well, if you like cozy and calm family place, this one is for you. Small inside but comfortable. For those who wanna try international food, come and try. Moldova and Romania taste. So different from American kitchen. My advice go and try it! I love the food I've tried!

Took over an hour to get my dinner with only a few other tables. Incredibly small portions for the cost. The flavors were good on everything I ordered except the spinach which tasted like a salt block. After all that we were overcharged by over $20 but the owner stands over your shoulder with the card machine making it incredibly awkward. No itemized receipt which is also strange. Would not return.

This was easily the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. The crust was not only bad quality but stale bread. Same with all toppings. It wasn't just bad, but genuinely worse than a frozen pizza from a grocery store. I mean you'll be hard pressed to find ANY actual restaurant pizza as horrible as this was. Even though I was starving hungry, and hadn't eaten all day, I threw it in the trash after one piece. First time in my life a pizza was so horrible I just threw it in the trash rather than eat it. I'm still in shock and disbelief that this thing came out of an actual restaurant.

Very nice local restaurant. It was very clean, so cute and the food was awesome. We had the fried mozzarella, eggplant parmesan, shrimp Alfredo and cheesecake. I highly recommend all of it. There's a Romanian and Italian menu. We can't wait to go back to try it all! Pizza looked amazing too!!

Great little neighborhood Italian-Romanian restaurant. According to the owner, they have a scratch kitchen, and I believe it after the delicious food. We started with the meatball appetizer, which included a very good mustard dip. The meatballs were mildly spiced and cooked to perfection. The stuffed cabbage and polenta was excellent. My wife got the fettucine with ragu, which she enjoyed so much she said that she wasn't going to leave any behind - and she didn't. Although I understand that making dinners from scratch is labor intensive, I will have to say that some of the prices were a bit higher than I would expect, especially the salads and appetizers. Nevertheless, we will be coming back.

Finally authentic Romanian food in town! I am fan of their Sarmales. The Meatball soup was amazing.

I cannot recommend Roma's Italian Kitchen enough! My only regret is that I ordered only one thing to-go. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is great, and you feel like you are back in a small piece of Europe. The owner Lucian was very hospitable and generous. I called in an order of Mititei to-go, and they were delicious! I cannot wait to go back and try their Sarmale, Schnitzel, and the pizza & pasta! I do not live very close, but Roma's Italian Kitchen is definitely worth the drive, you won't regret it. Va multumesc mult!

Great good! The pizza dough is made in house as is everything else. Tasted so fresh! Service was amazing. Enjoyed talking to the owner about what he recommended. We had tiramisu for dessert, and it was the best I've ever had!!

Very good, our family was seated quickly and ordered. Food was delivered and tasted delicious, i got the Romanian sausage and it was probably the best sausage I've tasted in North Texas. Seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back!

Excellent foods Friendly staff. The cabbage rolls dish was delicious. The grill pork dish was not as good as we had hopped for. We are ordering a togo order for dinner tonight. Can't wait to find out what it would be like.
