Best Brunch in Tampa (2025)
Rome + Fig Restaurant

Brunch was great here!! Everything was decently priced, not too expensive which was a nice surprise. Drinks were super good, I ended up having 2 bloody Mary's! Ambiance was nice and relaxed and upbeat, without being loud and overwhelming. Service was very attentive! For the meals we got the breakfast tacos. They were really good and had nice flavor. Also split some parm truffle fries! They also do a bottle of champagne for mimosas with choose of juices.

Google
First experience at Rome + Fig and we were quite pleased. I ordered the avocado toast that was mentioned in several reviews, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. It was absolutely delicious. Seasoned perfectly. I am an avocado toast connoisseur, and this, with the eggs over easy and minus the bacon (for a pescatarian), was perfect! My partner had the short rib French dip and enjoyed it. Service by Imani was wonderful. She had a smile that was present our entire visit and was very. Food came out hot and pretty quickly given how busy they were! Everything about our experience was perfect. The patio seating option also has fans making it a doable choice even with the hot weather!

Google
I saw so much hype surrounding this restaurant and honestly it was so disappointing. The two main complaints that my party had with the restaurant were the cleanliness and service. Starting with the cleanliness: The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. It was a very influencer friendly establishment. The food and drinks were very visually pleasing and tasted well, if anything a bit salty. Our issue was with the water pitchers that are used in the restaurant. Our server left a pitcher of water on the table when we requested refills on water (we will be returning to this later) and when we looked at the bottle closely there was clear and obvious signs of mold on the bottle's silicone stopper. When we saw this we asked for a new bottle, and the bottle we received had the marks as well, just not as clearly. The service was awful: Our server was Valentina. She did not seem very happy to be serving out table. Almost everyone at the table has worked in food service or is currently working in food service. We all understood that sometimes you have off days, we're all human. With that in mind, we were all appalled by her service. She was slamming thing on the table and on top of our things. She did not return to the table to the point that during most of our time in the restaurant our drinks were empty, and we had to flag her down to get refills on the waters. I do not believe she was supposed to leave the water pitchers on the table, but because she did not want to pour the water she slammed it on our table and walked off and that is when we noticed the mold. She also snatched a menu off the table so hard that silverware and a napkin flew off of it and she just walked away without saying anything. She also did not card anyone at the table ordering alcohol (I promise most of us did not look over 40). When we would look over she was sitting at the host stand on her phone. We did speak to the manager about these things but it presented more issues. The manager stated that their water pitchers are only sanitized three times a week. That is disgusting. If they are leaving these pitchers at tables with customers they need to be sanitized after each use. At minimum they should be sanitized daily, and that is also extremely generous. As soon as the words left his mouth my stomach dropped. I would expect more from a place charging $30 a plate. As for our POOR service, he said that it was a good teaching moment for his server. I would say that if she treats people that poorly, there is no teaching someone to be kind at her big age. He also informed us that two of their servers called out, but honestly that was the emptiest dining room ever, there were maybe 25 people in there and at least 6 of those people were seated at the bar. I love trying new restaurants in the Tampa area and experiencing the city I am a fourth generation resident of. I love to see this city and community thrive by supporting locally owned business. With that being said I don't think I ever want to go back to Rome & Fig and anything with the same owners. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to have an all around pleasant dining experience. If you want to take cutesy pictures for your Instagram, this may be the place for you (but there are so many better options).

This restaurant is one of my favorite places to have breakfast in Tampa. Service has always been wonderful. Shout out to Yidania! They have an avocado toast that I actually look forward to eating and all the other food and drinks that we have had. There has been really good as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Really cool I’ll be inside and they have featured artwork in the restaurant that you can buy that is very reasonably priced. before you, Karen, walking on sunshine, and Fuego Maria are my three favorite drinks here. Apparently the espresso martini is good too for those of you who like that sort of thing.

Google
We went for dinner and were able to get a last-minute reservation, which was a plus. Given all the hype, we had high expectations, but the experience turned out to be fairly average. Service was noticeably slow, which affected the overall experience. We ordered the chicken satay, lobster and shrimp linguine, pesto pasta, and beef tenderloin. While nothing was particularly bad, the food didn’t stand out either.. everything was just okay. Overall, it was a decent outing, but not something we’d rush back for.

Google
Had the Fried Tomato Caprese, lobster and shrimp linguine and ended with the Espresso Brownie Sundae with a Cappuccino. Husband had Braised Short Ribs. Everything was delicious. Good portions. I had to get a box for half the pasta because it was so filling. I split the dessert with my husband. It was a good portion and loved the caramel on it. Great setting. can eat outside or inside. Decor/ambience is great. Our server, Imani, was the best! Highly recommend her.

I was there for a networking group luncheon. We were packed to capacity. This was my first dining experience and our server Christine was amazing!!!

Google
Had a great lunch here. Went on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 and was able to get seated right away. Had the half order of Asian wings and they were fantastic, the sauce had a nice tang to it and wasn’t overly spicy or sweet. I had the meatball sub and it was good. The meat was moist and nicely seasoned. My wife had the short rib French dip and it was amazing. It was by far the best thing we had. Nice vibe in the restaurant. Would definitely return.

Yelp
Simply delicious Finally made my way out to this side of town to try Rome & Fig and they did not disappoint. On a Saturday morning we found ourselves in a not crowded space with cool vibes, easy background music and pleasant staff. We were seated inside in a cozy spot with enough space between patrons that you felt comfortable and not overwhelmed. We started with espresso martinis to get the brunch started, I went with the salted caramel which was absolutely delicious, she went with the seasonal pumpkin which, she wasn't thrilled with but she did follow that with the for you, Karen which she was very very happy with. I went for the lobster Benedict which I will say did taste good, but interestingly enough the arugula salad was actually my favorite part of the meal. Valentina was a fantastic server and we would love to see her and rome & fig again!

Yelp
Had my birthday brunch here and unfortunately it was not what I hoped for. Service was lack luster, our waitress was not the kindest. She was also working the hostess stand the front of the restaurant, making it hard for her to check in on us. The food is another issue in itself just about everything was overcooked especially the French toast and the tacos huevos. The bottomless mimosa is not a good deal. It is not "bottomless" you have to pay the $30 per bottle. The last strike was the very clear mold on both of the water pitchers /bottles that were brought and sat at to table. Cute place for pictures though

Yelp
Espresso Martini Tree!!! Oh em gee! Totally come here just for the $40 espresso martini tree!!! The tree is $40 and you get 4 espresso martinis. Traditional - Florida cane vanilla, borghetti, fresh espresso Carajillo - Licor 43, reposado tequila, fresh espresso Pumpkin Spice - spice infused rum, borghetti, cream, espresso Salted Caramel - Florida cane vanilla, salted caramel, fresh espresso I'd rank them from best to worst like this: #1 Traditional #2 Salted Caramel #3 Carajilo #4 Pumpkin Spice I had the $8 filet tip skewer. It was fine, nothing life changing. Also, treid the Nona's Meatballs. They were standard. The Risotto with chicken was fine. And the brownie was fine. If I came again, I'd just come for drinks. They were the highlight much more than the food.

Yelp
One of the best Happy Hour places. The bartenders are welcoming. Had the Asian wings, Tuna tartare as well as the humus and was surprised how good it all was. The ambience is nice, open and upbeat. Their barstools could use recovering or replacement however the rest of the place is great.
google avatar

Yelp
Too expensive. $100 for two glasses of wine 6oz of steak and a handful of asparagus is a bit much. I could have gone to the bar at Berns for that. You will price out the renters that live around you.

Yelp
Great Happy Hour spot! Love that they offer it on the weekends! Very cute place and everyone there is super nice! The bartenders know what they're doing, all the drinks were amazing! Definitely try the espresso martinis if you visit

Yelp
We had been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally made it over for brunch. The place was very well kept and the servers were friendly. We had the mimosas w a bottle of champagne, kale Caesar salad with chicken, and short rib French dip sandwich. Our mimosas were good and we appreciated the variety of juices offered, the cinnamon pear was our favorite. Our entrees were only okay. I had the Caesar with chicken and my boyfriend had the short rib French dip. The kale Caesar did not come with any kale and was all romaine which was interesting. It wasn't a big deal but for a $23 salad I definitely expect it to come as it states. I don't regret coming and am glad we tried it but would not come back and wouldn't necessarily recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Came at 1 right before close & ordered the grilled cheese on gluten free bun with bacon and tomato and it was actually incredible. The cheese was super melted - the gluten free bread wasn't grainy - praise God. The tomato soup was good but could use more of a creamier taste. Ordered the short rib hoggie and to me it was good but basic.. like nothing that dropped my jaw good. My husband the lobster hollandaise sandwich which was creamy and good. Didn't have any drinks but saw the expresso martini tree which looked super cute and instagram worthy. Maybe next time we will try that too!

Yelp
Lovely little place around Hyde Park! Patio seating and quaint inside seating. Joa was our fabulous server- attentive, patient and knowledgeable. We ordered drinks and a variety of small bites, appetizers, and desserts for our adult night out. The champagne tree was amazing and PLENTY for sharing. A lovely Saturday night date night!

Yelp
I went here for dinner with some friends and thought they had decent food and cocktails, really cute atmosphere, good service. It was super overpriced, like $35 for a stir fry bowl with chicken plus $16 for a cocktail, plus their menu prices are all based on cash payment and they add a 4% surcharge if you use a credit card. As if their overpriced menu couldn't list cover the credit card fee, I don't think I've ever seen that at a restaurant before. Not sure I'd come back because of that, there are plenty of other places to go around Tampa.
google avatar

Yelp
The drinks are the best thing here and the happy hour menu is worth your while. The food is pretty good, but not incredible. I would NOT go here for a date or any special event--this place is very casual and the vibes are reminiscent of a sports bar. Great for a casual weekday lunch or for grabbing happy hour after work.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service were great here. Rome + Fig is a great place for brunch. There wasn't nearly enough bacon on the BL Tea but the flavors were good. Very cozy ambiance as well with comfy couches for some tables, standard tables, and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is fantastic! The service was so good. We went last night to try the espresso martini tree, which did not disappoint. There currently is a autumn version, which was a fun spin. The food was tasty as well. I really enjoyed the Lomo Saltado.

Yelp
Came here for drinks right after brunch at Willa's across the street. Service was fantastic even though they said they were low on servers... we sat outside at a long-ish table in the heat, but they had fans and umbrellas and we were happy to share a cocktail... Although I am not fond of the name of the Karen cocktail with blueberries and lemon flavors....it was very good and I'd get it again. I also saw another table order a tree of martinis - how cute! Then I started seeing them everywhere Service and drinks on point...I'll be back and would love to try the food.

Yelp
First time trying Rome + Fig and this place deserves a solid 4 stars. To start, our server Abbie deserves a huge shout out! She went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time -- always communicated with us if the bar was running behind and making sure we loved our food and drinks. We tried the espresso martini tree to start (of course we had to). Loved the 4 flavors -- but only downside I have to note is that the martinis were not very cold... but my third sip in the martini was sadly a bit warm! Other than that, great flavor. Recommend the poke bowl for a filling yet light entree. So fresh with a generous helping of tuna, cucumber and avocado. The short ribs entree also melted in my mouth. Can't go wrong with the entrees it seems! We sat out on their patio with a gorgeous fall breeze overlooking the sunset in the background. A perfect night!

Yelp
came here for happy hour specials and was pleasantly surprised by new items on the menu. The espresso martini tree was raved about in the reviews so I knew I had to try that and it was not a disappointment! The appetizers came out extremely quickly and so did the drinks. I would definitely recommend this place for anybody who enjoys a craft cocktail and a variety of menu items. I will definitely be coming back to try the other happy hour menu items and drinks.

Yelp
Some of the best meals we've had in a while!! This was a random stop for us because we were invited here with some friends before a night out. We arrived a little late behind them so the bar was pretty full as happy hour was ending. We decided to ask for a side table for 2 without a reservation and were seated pretty quickly, for being on a Friday night around dinner I really appreciated that. We started off with the Asian wings and omg they were SO GOOD. The chicken was perfectly cooked and fell right off the bone which I loved because wings are already messy enough, who wants to be fighting with their food on date night??? 10/10 For entrees we chose the beef tenderloin and the tuna poke bowl. Both were AMAZING! The tenderloin was so juicy and to a perfect medium. My husband had no complaints 10/10 The amount of tuna they gave in my poke bowl was so surprising! These portions were HUGE. I kind of expected a little less considering I am getting a raw fish but no, they packed this bowl with tuna and I think there was more of that than any other ingredient on the plate. This unexpected dinner was a little more expensive than we were hoping but I felt like for the price and the quality, and portion size!!! Worth every penny PS. I was eyeing that espresso martini tower. There was a group of girls next to us who ordered it and I contemplated real hard if I should get it for myself!!! Guess I have a reason to go back

Yelp
We came here for the espresso martini flight, and left disappointed. We were SO excited to try the Christmas espresso martini flight, so we came here for lunch. We had a reservation and were seated shortly after our time. Right away it was apparent the service was going to be mediocre at best. The waitress took quite a while to come take our order. We ordered the martini flight as soon as we could, we left 1.5 hours later and it never showed up. It wasn't forgotten about. There were just "many orders ahead of us." We had to get up to ask for napkins, water, and silverware. This was the theme for many other tables as well. I watched one table that came in right before us to get up and leave when the waitress never came back to take their orders. When I left, I stopped at the bathroom. All of them were locked. I waited outside and saw 2 of the waitresses come out of the bathroom together. When I went back to tell my friend, the table next to me heard me and asked if it was the waitress in the pink. I said it was, and they all said, "THAT'S why her service is so bad!" Ultimately, the food was mediocre and cold, and the service needs work, to say the least. I'm concerned as to what the wait staff are doing together in the bathroom while the food sits getting cold in the kitchen.

Yelp
This is a very cute establishment. The outside patio is set up well with large fans, umbrellas and a seated couch area. The food was good, we both enjoyed our meals. Service was great. We arrived at 10 am on a Saturday morning without a reservation and we were promptly seated and served. Our waitress was really lovely, I wish I caught her name. She's a very attractive brunette who was really sweet and attentive. It seems like a very "young", collage crowd at brunch, I think dinner service is probably for an older crowd.
google avatar

Jenn L.

Yelp
Finally checked this place out for a girls' dinner and it has a super cute vibe. Service was great and they were able to do individual checks which was helpful. The food came out quickly but the drinks were pretty slow. They offer an espresso martini tree with 4 different flavors: traditional, salted caramel, lavender, and tequila chili. My favorite was probably the traditional and I would've liked the tequila chili without the tequila and replaced it with vodka lol. I Highly recommend getting Nona's meatballs, fried green tomato caprese, and Asian noodles. What I ordered: - NONA'S MEATBALLS: traditional beef-pork-veal blend, marinara, pesto-ricotta, balsamic drizzle, fried basil leaf - FRIED GREEN TOMATO CAPRESE: fried green tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, abs heirloom tomatoes, pesto, truffle oil basil chiffonade, balsamic drizzle - MEDITERRANEAN HUMMUS: roasted red pepper hummus, tomato, cucumber, feta, capers, lemon oil, pita chips - ASIAN NOODLES: chili ginger marinated rice noodles, stirred cumber-carrot kimchi, roasted broccoli, mushrooms, pickled cabbage, soy-thyme egg. crispy garlic, sesame
google avatar

Zeena A.

Yelp
I came here with some friends for a work event. The food was amazing, I recommend getting the fried green tomatoes and hummus. The espresso martini tree was great as well. This is a small place but the food and vibes are great. If you in the area this is a must try.
google avatar

Morgan M.

Yelp
Jayden our server was amazing. My friend who lives here comes all the time and loves the vibe. Eggs, home fries , and cheese grits were delicious! The owner was also super nice. My friend got the huevos tacos and said they were delicious. Also the espresso martini is bomb!
google avatar

Nalini R.

Yelp
Rome & fig never disappoints from a service and flavor standpoint!! They always have popping flavors with the freshest local ingredients, and all the servers are very knowledgeable on where everything came from, how healthy it is, and what is the flavor profile of each dish!! I love their late night happy hour and their daytime happy hour, their food and prices are desirably high, so it makes it affordable for the everyday person to go to happy hour.
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
Drinks and service were great. Truffle fries and wings were delicious. Entrees were not impressive, especially for the price. Would definitely come back for drinks and apps next time. Great indoor and outdoor ambiance.
google avatar

ChrisT G.

Yelp
Rome and Fig is a very cute and aesthetically pleasing restaurant, but the food was very mediocre. For the appetizers, we got the truffle fries and Asian wings. The truffle taste was not very strong and the fries were the frozen kind that comes out a bit tough and yellow in color. The Asian wings had a nice flavor and were pretty juicy. For the entrees, I wanted to try the Lobster Benedict, but they said they were out of lobster. So we ended up ordering the BL Tea and Short Rib French Dip. The BL Tea sandwich was cut in half, with the top half looking delicious with the over medium egg oozing out. However, the second half of the sandwich looked sad with a bite size amount of egg, 3 pieces of lettuce, and a small piece of bacon. The Short Rib French Dip tasted good but it was small. Both dishes came with the mediocre fries again. Overall, the food was okay but definitely not worth what is being charged. The service was great though and our server was so sweet and attentive. I may consider trying this restaurnt again but not in the near future. Also, we wanted to try the Tampa Bay Restaurant Week menu, which we saw on the website. However when we asked about it, they said they only had it for dinner, which was not mentioned on the Tampa Bay Restaurant Week website. I think, for the future, they should notate that it is Dinner Only.

Yelp
This has been on my wishlist for a while. Although we didn't eat a full meal here, the service and appetizer were still gold stars. We came for drinks, got sat down pretty quickly for a Saturday night, and had the meatballs. They were so tender and the marina it was covered with was so good! Parking was easy, right in front, and the drinks hit the spot. We didn't get their famous espresso martini tower but it is on the TODO for next time
google avatar

Renee E.

Yelp
I finally made it to try the espresso martini flight! I went with a group so we split them up, but love the presentation. We ordered all of the happy hour apps and cleaned all the plates. I'd definitely go back to try entrees.
google avatar

Heather F.

Yelp
Came here to try the trending espresso martini tower and it did not disappoint. I loved the four different flavors of espresso which included lavender, caramel, traditional, and a spicy tequila version. I shared it with my friend and the waitress said they equal about 2.5 each. I loved the lavender one so much I got it full sized. We came here during brunch and it was open and breezy even though it was hot out. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. For brunch I got the french toast sticks with their stuffed strawberry filling and it was very good.

Yelp
As residents of North Hyde Park for many years we have waited for a restaurant within walking distance that has great food and ambiance. Rome + Fig is such a great vibe and atmosphere in the heart of North Hyde Park. The food is excellent and we love the owners.
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
It was a cute spot. They have parking to the left of the building so that was nice... The service was good wouldn't say great wouldn't say bad. It looks super cute inside they were actually pretty busy. Luckily we wanted to sit outside because that's where they could sit us without a reservation, didn't get any food just came for the espresso martini tree flight. There's a spicy one, salted caramel, traditional and a lavender one. I hated the lavender one tasted like... idk lavender I guess lol grassy planty. Overall salted caramel was my fav and the flight to try diff flavors super cute and worth the $40
google avatar

Marissa G.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance walking in - very open and chic. Large windows with plants, a welcoming vibe! Drinks were a little pricey but as per usual in Tampa, however they were very good and larger portions than most restaurants/bars. Food was amazing! Highly recommend.

Monica S.

Yelp
First of all our waiter, Joah truly was so pleasant! Went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Drinks were super yummy- the seasonal apple one was incredible! And the food hit the spot. Super happy to have stumbled upon this spot!

Yelp
I brought my puppy with me for brunch on National Dog Day! We had a nice table on the patio area that was covered with an umbrella. They do have fans outside as well. It was still hot, but that's Florida summer. Our server was kind enough to bring me a small bowl of blueberries for my puppy to munch on. To drink, I had their new lemon amaretto cocktail. It was sweet, but not overly sweet. I thought it was delicious! For brunch, I had the lobster benedict. It was soo good! The eggs were so nice and runny.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
Amazing brunch. I'm impressed by all the restaurants popping up in this area. I like food that is good quality, but not pretentious and this fits the bill. We came right when they opened for brunch on Sunday at 10 a.m. There is a parking lot with limited spots right behind the restaurant, but tons of street parking otherwise. The restaurant has a really cute outdoor patio area. We opted to sit indoors, but right next to the window so we got sunlight as well. I noticed the other patrons were dressed in trendy, bright colored outfits. I admired a lot of people's attire. I got the lobster benedict and a latte with almond milk (they didn't have oat milk). They use kahwa coffee. It was just ok, I get the feeling most people are having a more bougie brunch. The lobster benedict was delicious. I wasn't super hungry so it was the perfect serving and the greens on the side was a great addition. Our server was friendly. She didn't rush us at all, which was nice. Overall I think this is a great brunch place and I'm excited to come back.

Yelp
Stopped here on a Thursday night to experience this well reviewed restaurant! We made reservations en route via their website. It was a slow night so were seated immediately. It's the small wins! The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the Limo Saltado appetizer. The blackberry snapper cocktail was also very refreshing. I believe their menu rotates, which says something about the creativity of the chefs! The service was also great. Our server had such a positive demeanor as well. I would definitely return!

Yelp
For date night we decided to go to Rome + Fig. We were pleasantly greeted and started looking at the menu. The Surf and Turf three course immediately stood out to us as a great deal so we went with that. Throughout the meal I couldn't help but notice that it gradually got worse. By far the best thing I ate that night was the first course, the Mushroom Roulade. The filet mignon in the Surf and Turf was bland, and I could taste the burnt bits. Although, it was cooked medium rare as we've asked the bland,l and slightly burnt taste was not pleasant. The same thing can be said about the broccoli, bland. However, the shrimp and the risotto were delicious. The service was attentive and helpful which is a big plus in my book. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, and for the most part I enjoyed my meal. I was a bit disappointed seeing the 4% surcharge for Credit cards because you would already assume that if you're paying almost $50 for a filet mignon the credit card fee would be included. Personally I'm not a fan of hidden fee.

Yelp
Been coming here since they opened. Definite decline. Expect much better for the cost of food App's took 30 mins to get (tuna tartare was excellent. Fried green tomatoes average) Drinks took a long time to get despite restaurant being slow Now on to the food. Risotto was good, scallops for $21 for 2 very rubbery and overcooked. 2 Asian noodles dishes with overcooked proteins (salmon and shrimp) and almost raw noodles Deserts including the espresso martini brownie and crème Brulle were good Server was overwhelmed as she was covering the whole restaurant as well as being flirty with the regulars the common table Owner/manager was not helping thr server and was intermittently running food. They did comp the awful meals but he made no effort to apologize or stop by our table Again was more focused on his "boys" at the communal table. As an OG "member" had high expectations but was left with disappointment all around and not the birthday celebration we expected. Many items were out of stock and menus were not updated. Not sure that we would ever return to this establishment as their are serveral better choices within walking distance Loved this place when it opened, loved the owners but now the owner seems more focused on socializing Unfortunately will be our last trip to this place I wish the good luck but in the words of Gordon Ramsey what in the f are you doing?

Yelp
Love this place but very inconsistent hours. Showed up at 9pm on a Sunday and they were closed yet their hours online say 11 PM. Not the first time this has happened.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Not blow-your-socks-off but really really delicious. Service was excellent, Josh was efficient and pleasant. Love the ambiance, high industrial ceilings, green, white, black, pretty bar. Pros: excellent Salmon Jerk Pasta, salmon cooked to perfection. Wings were sticky, moist, over the top deliciousness. Fried Green Tomato and Mozzarella was good, liked the crunchy coating. Delicious Hummus, loved the crispy Pita, outstanding Pork Belly, meatballs were really good tasty too! I loved the Basil Smash cocktail! Not too sweet, had the big cube of ice, refreshingly balanced. Cons: French onion soup is too salty, the dressing on the charred Romain salad was too thin not enough flavor. Yes, I would come back to this place

Yelp
Came here for Sunday brunch and had the Lobster Benedict. I thought it was very good, but the eggs were a little more poached than I care for...I like the yolk to be a little runny, and they were mostly solid. It was also missing something...maybe little more plate? While attempting to slice into my burnt English muffin, a decent sized chunk of lobster slid right off my plate and onto the table, which was disappointing because there were only two decent chunks and few smaller pieces. Very small plate. I would also recommend ordering a side of potatoes or grits...the side greens didn't cut it, I was hungry again by the time I got home. Service was good and the ambiance was nice, I'd come here again because the food I saw being delivered at the tables looked really good, and the dinner menu looks interesting. Parking is scarce, there are spaces behind the small shopping center it's located in, but they are incredibly tiny spaces.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Rome + Fig for a while and I finally had the chance when I and a group of friends made a reservation for 1:30 Brunch on Saturday. Now the restaurant is technically closed from 2 to 4 pm but they allow reservations at 1:30 and allow guests to continue their meals during this window of time. We had a wonderful server, Abbie, who made us feel welcome and took our orders quickly. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very chic and clean. Rome + Fig definitely has the look down. Now for the Brunch menu, it was a one page menu which I did not mind at all. I think there were still a decent amount of options. I ordered the Truffle Fries and the Lobster Benedict. I really enjoyed the Truffle Fries. The green garlicky sauce that came with the fries was DELICIOUS. Now for my main dish, the Lobster Benedict, I was a little underwhelmed. The dish was good but I wasn't amazed. I've had plenty of Benedict dishes before, and I've had better. In terms of portions, I will say you likely won't be satisfied with the Lobster Benedict alone because it is such a light dish. Nonetheless, my friends and I were enjoying our experience at Rome + Fig up until we heard an employee (Anthony) tell our waiter that we should leave the restaurant. He was at the registers right by our table as he told our waitress. I could see from his face that he was visibly annoyed and I don't understand why. We made a reservation through OpenTable for 1:30. The Hostess reassured us that they accept reservations up to 1:30 and that customers are allowed to comfortably finish their meals even though the restaurant is temporarily "closed" between 2 to 4 pm. I am not sure if Anthony was having a bad day, but his comment was inappropriate and should not have been made... especially within earshot of my table. Overall, I would rate my experience 3 stars. Abbie and the host were incredibly welcoming and the food and ambiance were good.

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice, it is extremely hot and we sat inside. We were sweating the whole time. The service was ok, the food took FOREVER to come and the server seemed very busy with other tables. It took them 10 minutes to come and pick up our checks. The food overall was a 6/10 nothing out of the ordinary, actually kind of flavorless and my bacon was burnt. The drinks were amazing though and we did get a good buzz. Overall it was a 7/10 experience, would I come here again? Yes but only for the drinks, because paying 22$ for a BLT with fries and burnt bacon is outrageous.

Yelp
Pros: Wonderful atmosphere. They have a really nice patio and the inside is beautiful. We made reservations but they also take walk-ins. We came here for a brunch date and the food was good. We enjoyed our French toast sticks and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is located in a nice neighborhood. Cons: It was a struggle to find parking. There are only a few spots behind the building dedicated to the restaurant. You will have to find street parking.

Yelp
This was my first time trying this place out and it was a great experience. First, this up and coming area is so cute and offers a lot of new places to try out. Rome+Fig has definitely made its mark. A well designed inside and outside area with a really cool designed bar. Our waitress was thorough, friendly, and went over the menu for us. I started with Chips and Fresh Guac, a tropical Aperol spritz, and ordered the new braised short rib sandwich. Highly recommend. Prices were very accommodating for the area.

Yelp
I visited Rome + Fig on a week night for a double date. We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately. The restaurant was not busy at all. I ordered the risotto with scallops. I think I missed that it was $20 for 2 scallops which I think is a bit ridiculous. Come on, how much are food costs that you can't provide 3 scallops which seems like a bit of a normal portion. So my risotto which is just rice was $22 and my 2 scallops were $20. $42 for a risotto dish seems a bit absurd. When the check came, they added a credit card processing fee of 4% prior to asking if we were paying cash. They menu dues state that the prices are in cash Anyway, I just think this place is way too over priced. I know things are changing quickly in the restaurant industry but this seems a bit much. I almost gave the restaurant 2 stars but decided on 3. The food was good but the value was terrible.

Yelp
The glassware and silverware was disgusting. It had not been washed. Our glasses still had lipstick on them and they tried to still serve us our water in them. We asked for new ones and ordered bottle water as we were afraid of their tap water from the dirty glasses and it was 10 dollars. We ordered coffee that was also in dirty glasses and not good. It was watered down and just not good. We tried to order our food, but they were out of the two items we wanted. We decided we were striking out and to just take the check. Our check was 25 dollars for absolutely nothing. Our waiter couldn't even comp the water in the dirty glasses? Everyone seemed untrained. Disappointing.

Yelp
Had no problem getting a table at 10.30 on Saturday morning. Fast service. Avocado toast wasn't great. Super thin layer of brown avocado and wet toast. Also, bacon was pretty burnt.

Yelp
Super cute brunch spot for a girls day, a date or even family- and definitely if the weather is nice, sit outside!! Aesthetic of this place was so cute (this was a birthday brunch my friends put together). Our server was lovely and kept checking on us to see if we needed any refills and was knowledgeable about the menu! I didn't see a mocktail on the menu but there was no hesitation on asking the bartender to create one! Also- she said if I didn't like it she could redo it or get me something else which was really appreciated! Food was delicious and I can't to go back to try lunch!!
