"Romeo’s has been taken over by gnomes for the season, with twinkly trees and fake snow blanketing the scene. Gnomeo’s drink lineup includes Amaretto Eggnog Sour, Oskar’s Mexican Hot Chocolate, St. Nick’s Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned, a Peppermint Espresso Martini, and more." - Eater Staff
"Tang has attached his name to other projects, including Romeo’s, described here as a pink bar in the East Village." - Emma Orlow
"Romeo’s is a neon-pink-lit bar on St. Mark’s that’s a far cry from the seemingly hundreds of dives on the block. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see plenty of vintage torn Led Zeppelin shirts, but if you asked anyone wearing one about Physical Graffiti, they’ll ask "is that a TikTok filter?" You’ll find that everything in Romeo’s is Y2K-themed, from the people inside, their outfits, and the potential of Wesley Snipes’ role as Blade playing on a projector. Sit at the bar, and you’re almost guaranteed to hear something along the lines of “can we please get two espresso martinis?” If you aren’t sure what you want, there’s a TV menu with pictures of the highball, shaken, and stirred cocktails ($15-19), as well as some snacks and sandwiches." - Will Hartman
"Romeo’s is a new East Village bar where the drinks are served in frosty glasses, the lights are neon, and there’s more than a little ’90s inspo going on. But besides the obligatory Cosmo, you’ll also find things like a Pistachio Mai Tai and an Avocado Margarita that sounds very 2010." - Will Hartman, Willa Moore
"A new cocktail bar in the East Village from Evan Hawkins and Wilson Tang (and other partners) offering crafted cocktails in a neighborhood bar format." - Emma Orlow
