Where To Eat A Maritozzo In Rome - Rome - The Infatuation

"Romoli is a bakery in Trieste where all the neighborhood locals come for a quick espresso, sfogliatelle, and their mini-football-sized maritozzi. These are some of the longest you’ll find in Rome, which, yes, means more cream and brioche to go around. But also you can probably just get one to split between a couple of friends since they’re so rich. These are also brushed with sugar, giving the brioche a lovely glazed donut consistency. It’s a busy place, so be prepared with your order—the people behind the counter will glare at you if you’re not ready." - carlo mantuano, annie replogle

Expensive touristic attractiveness for elite and insane tourism. No more a local place for citizens. As the Maritozzo as could be so delicious if it cost 4.5 €? You'd have to be barking mad to pay those prices! For sure they are really kind person 😅

Well, assuredly it is not a touristic place, but rather a true local pastry with no extras. Instead you can meet a genuine atmosphere where the owner think on the quality of the product and not about the marketing tricks.

Finest Maritozzo i ve ever tried in Roma, usually i arrived in Roma Tiburtina station in the early morning and there was a direct bus line towards here. The cream is soft and full of the scent of diary, perfectly fit for espresso

we love this place! especially it being open until 2am. perfect for a late night craving. there is a wide selection of treats and pastries. my personal favorite would be the chocolate gabriele. the behind the cashier ladies are always really nice, although we really can’t speak italian, they encourage and help us so much!

Yelp
This is not just the best bakery in rome, I guess it is the best one I've ever tried in all the countries I have lived in. Highly suggested! Cakes are incredibly satisfying and light (probably they're not but they seem to be) at the same time. You never get sick or nauseated by Romoli's dessert.
