The 14 Best Bagels In London - London - The Infatuation

"Another north west favourite, Roni’s Bagel Bakery opened in West Hampstead in 1989, and now has a few spots in Belsize Park, Highgate, and Muswell Hill. The bagels here are solid, although a little inconsistent from location to location. That said, when they’re on form, they’re a soft and chewy delight. The cream cheese here is also top-tier stuff, as is the babka." - Jake Oliver, Sinead Cranna

9 Of The Best Babkas In London

"Available for takeaway & click and collect There’s only one way to describe the babka from Roni’s, and that is as a feat of engineering and flavour. It looks good enough to wear to Ascot, perfectly woven and threaded, but the only place we want to be wearing this is in and around our mouth. It’s a simultaneously soft and crispy babka with just the right amount of chocolate and, in the words of GBBO ‘a perfectly even bake’." - jake missing

Roni’s Bagel Bakery Review - West Hampstead - London - The Infatuation

The bagels here are solid, though a little inconsistent from location to location. That said, when they’re on form they’re a soft and chewy delight, and the cream cheese here is also top tier stuff. I bought last Sunday bread in one of your bakery stores. Your products come with a price £4,95, its not cheap therefore you expect quality product which sadly didn't happened in my case. Slack baked, not possible to eat it at all. UPDATE: costumers service got back to me aplologize and offered bread and coffee on the house, well done, therefore few extra stars as a average from 2 visits.

The tastiest bread in London! I'm lucky it's always warm!! Thank you!🙏

If you're lucky to arrive at the bakery just as freshly baked bagels come out of the oven, you'll be delighted. Moreover, the staff is always welcoming and helpful.

Best challah for french toast ❤️🤌🏼

I love the multi seed bread. I have been coming to this place to buy it because they slice it for me and bag it in a paper bag. It seems they can’t put it in a paper bag anymore and I had to take horrendous plastic bag. As I try to live a life as sustainable as possible I avoid plastic at all costs. The change in their customer service not allowing me to take the break in paper bag means I won’t be able to come to this lively bakery anymore. I sacrifice I’m willing to take for the planet. I’ll find another bakery but I won’t be able to find a new planet when humanity finishes destroying this one.

Yelp
Their 99 cents scones are pretty good when heated up (I took mine home and heated in the microwave). I really want to try their bagels!

Yelp
Great bakery, open long hours, perfect for a quick (proper freshly made chewy) bagel on your way home. Definitely somewhere local to grab a quick bite for breakfast on he way too work. Be warned though, they tend to run out of (unfilled) bagels by evening time.

Yelp
We went to Roni's this morning to get a cup of coffee and some breakfast after flying in from LAX and landing at at Heathrow at 5:30am. We were happy to find something open with smiling faces and hot coffee. The bagels we're pretty authentic as was the chocolate croissant. We will go back.

Yelp
The BEST BAGEL BAKERY IN HAMPSTEAD & WEST HAMPSTEAD. I have been enjoying the bagels that fill the whicker baskets in the windows for years. My father stops by the bakery on saturday mornings to pick up a bag full on his way back from a walk on the heath- just after they have come out of the ovens. I'm not jewish but can definitely appreciate and spot a GOOD bagel! The outsides are chewy and the insides are soft and have a comforting warmth - the smell is humble. My favourites are the sesame seeded bagels, The poppy seeded and the onion covered ones are my favourite. The Florentines are also worth a mention - as well as working your way through the counter's mouthwatering selection! Worth popping in, the staff are friendly and the bakery is open till late - which means you can pick up breakfast for the morning or just a little treat to walk you home.

Yelp
I have been there 4 times already and every time the customer service has been very rude, last time today. I would say that customers whom are willing to pay £7.40 for 2 slices of cakes would worth at least a simple smile. Once I did my purchase she left the product on top of the counter without ask if I needed a bag and just looking at the front she shouted "NEXT" ! .. next customer looked at me and I guess she also was surprised about her attitude. Say that, the quality of the products are good but I don't want to feel like I am not welcome in any business.

Yelp
If you are in West Hampstead then Roni's Bagel Bakery is a good place to visit for a beigel but it is rather expensive, especially when compared to the infamous bagel bakeries in Brick Lane (Beigel Bake (http://www.qype.co.uk/place/46809-Beigel-Bake-London) & Beigel Factory (http://www.qype.co.uk/place/96588-beigel-factory-London) ). Even though this isn't a cheap beigel bakery, I would recommend it as their smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels are delicious. and there isn't really much alternative in the local area (apart from Broadway Bagel Bakery (http://www.qype.co.uk/place/141511-Broadway-Bagel-Bakery-London) in Cricklewood which is also expensive).

Yelp
Roni's is a great bakery. The Bagels and the Sour Dough are excellent - as is everything else I have tried. I travel 20 minutes out of my way to shop here.
