Everything I had was was delicious. I was not wowed by anything, but definitely satisfied with my meal. I'd love to return to try more items, and of course eat on the first floor. During tanoshi hour, we had the lychee/elderflower martini and the market margarita. Oh bothhhhh of these were so good. 10/10. I'd order either of those again without question. For food we had the crispy okra, oyster trio, karaage chicken, and yellowtail jalapeño roll. All very good! The chicken was probably my favorite. Not the best karaage ever, but very tasty. There are better (cheaper) options for HH in Chicago, but this was definitely a nice way to sample some of NOBU's dishes without breaking the bank and enjoy the city views. It wouldn't be my first pick for HH, but I'd certainly go back and try more dishes.

This was my first visit and I came on a Sunday around 11:30AM. I did a walk in and was able to get a table for 1. To begin with, the service was really great because I was attended by several people. Also, Giselle was my server and she was nice and attentive! Secondly, I ordered the steak and eggs. The meat was tender and cooked correctly. Lastly, the vibe is upscale and you can tell definitely tell. The view is nice and it's calm in there. Overall, this is one of the best rooftops I've been to and recommend it if you're in Chicago. Always a nice treat to absorb good vibes and beautiful views while relishing delicious bites. If you’re looking for a slightly more relaxed situation with high quality options, Nobu Rooftop is a great place to let the time pass. I’m a sucker for caviar topped nigiri and rock shrimp in the late afternoon or bao bun breakfast sandwiches and Nobu honey toast on the weekend. Fan of the Grand Cordon, Lychee Martini, or the Nobu Old Fashioned on those days when a libation is non-negotiable.

We lucked out with an absolutely gorgeous evening to sit outside on a summer night in Chicago. The Wagyu sliders and various sushi pieces were exceptional. The ambiance was great and there was a DJ to add some fantastic music. A really nice evening out!

The views are great, but the service is not befitting of a restaurant at this level. Had a lunch meeting here earlier in the week that lasted an hour and a half. We ordered promptly at the beginning of said meeting, and half of our food never arrived by the time we needed to leave and there was no explanation for this. What did arrive was 7/10, at best. The receipt was not itemized, so it is unclear whether we were charged for the whole meal, but in any event, this is an experience one can skip.

Nobu is exactly what you expect! The food is exceptional, the service is top-notch and the views from the rooftop is amazing. Just be prepared for the sticker shock!! But its worth it for special occassions.

We visited the rooftop on a Saturday with a reservation for outdoor seating in a perfect evening. However, we ended up being seated near the bar, which was disappointing. Regrettably, the view, ambiance, and menu also didn't live up to our expectations. The one redeeming feature was the miso black cod, an exquisite and tender delight amidst an otherwise lackluster meal. After spending over $200 on food and drinks, we found much better satisfaction next door with a bowl of ramen. One tip: avoid the hotel's valet service for dinner, as the $35 charge is significantly higher than others in the area.

I recently went here for brunch, which I was unaware they did, and it was great! The food was actually really delicious. I didn’t have low expectations but I didn’t have high ones as Nobu is usually only known for sushi and I wasn’t ordering that at brunch. Super friendly waitress, I forgot her name. We voiced we wanted to sit inside and they accommodated. Recommend.
