Denver’s 14 Essential Thai Restaurants Right Now | Eater Denver

"Located in the old Victorian home that used to house Sassafras, this cozy Jefferson Park spot largely sticks to the standard menu script, but it does so with plenty of TLC. Regardless of spice level, the pumpkin curry, drunken noodles, and eggplant stir fry all count as cheering, soothing comfort food." - Ruth Tobias

Cozy little restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. The pad kee mao or drunken noodles is absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend grabbing an iced Thai tea as well. Cannot wait to go back and try more dishes! Now for my standard comments. This location is clean and well kept. Indoor seating is comfortable.

Google
We ordered cream cheese wontons, Massaman Curry - level 1 heat, with Fried Tofu and Panang Curry - level 2 heat with pork. The Massaman Curry was wonderful! The Panang Curry was so hot it was inedible...and we enjoy spicy, hot, and the many variations of spicy, from different cuisines. However, this was just too much. So we asked for Pad Thai instead...usually a great standby. This Pad Thai had very rubbery noodles. And the Jasmine Tea was spicy as well. Not your normal experience but definitely a new one. Not sure if we'll g9 here again.

Google
Great Thai food. Fun and friendly service. The restaurant is very beautiful with an outdoor area. Vegan items are clearly marked. Note that the spice levels are much milder than the equivalent ratings in other cities. I got the pineapple fried rice with a rating of 4/5 and it was barely spicy. They did not have chili paste so I had to augment with Sriracha which is okay, but not ideal. It did not take away from the experience at all. I would happily go back to this place - I might just get spice level 5 on everything.

Google
Good food! Ordered to go and it was ready. A little pricey but good portions and good heat for medium. Nice building!

Google
The food I tried was very good. One of the best Thai places I’ve been to in Denver. Their Thai Hot spicy level wasn’t quite Thai Hot though in my opinion. I don’t think they had any prik nam pla sauce either. R

Incredible adorable delicious!! Loved the drunken noodles and pumpkin curry ahhh. The waitress was super amazing taking care of the tables and front desk and bills and everything. What a cute space

Google
With all the options for Thai in Denver these days it can be tricky to veer away from what you know, but super glad to try Ros Siam as it was OUTSTANDING. Flavors were on point in all the dishes we ordered, I’m talking about those deep, rich, spicy, sour, and fragrant goodness that all good Thai should have. The level 3 spice was just right if you need a solid clearing of the sinuses but simultaneously want keep the lining of your stomach in tact. The service was as good as you can ask for in a popular restaurant that’s scantly staffed. #childfriendly. Maybe eating Thai food in an old Victorian is odd but it’s also oddly kinda cool. Great experience, will be back!

Google
Hands down best Thai restaurant in Denver! Super reasonable pricing too. Pineapple curry, green curry, eggplant stir fry and drunken noodles are my favorite. Love their fried tofu in the curry. Really nice outdoor patio seating too! Val is the best.

Yelp
THE BEST THAI FOOD!!!! Our family eats here every time we visit the Denver area. I actually wish there was a Thai food restaurant closer to our home that's as good as this restaurant. Every meal has been delicious! The service is wonderful! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
This place was located in a cute house in a neighborhood. Parking wasn't great- there was a tiny parking lot and then all the street parking had signs that said neighborhood resident parking only. So I wasn't exactly sure where you're allowed to park when their tiny parking lot is full. Interior is cute and cozy. I got the beef drunken noodles. It was a good size portion and it tasted aiight! I got level 2 out of 5 spice which didn't have much of a kick- so we asked for extra spice powder on the side. When I dipped my food in it- oh man it was spicy. I'm glad I didn't get level 3- it would have been too much for me. It's always frustrating when I desire a spice level in between. I find that common in Thai restaurants. My friend enjoyed her pumpkin curry and mango sticky rice. Server was nice.

Yelp
Great Thai place in denver! They have a small parking lot and we got there pretty early so parking was easy. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken with a spice level of 1. It was mild, the sauce was sweet and flavorful, and the chicken and noodles were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and service was good. Will definitely be coming back to try something new next time!

Yelp
Pad Thai was average, location was a bit uncomfortable in terms of seating. It's a house and it's a bit small and not too clean. Staff was nice but utensils are not included for pick up orders. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't return.
google avatar

Yelp
Ros Siam is another Thai staple for me. I rotate between ordering from here and another spot. The panang curry is so spicy and flavorful. I have always gotten good service for take out and dining in - they usually have my order ready earlier than expected. The restaurant itself is an old house, it's super cute inside and lots of room to sit even on a busy night.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Pad kee Mao and fried tofu for delivery. I loved the dishes. The fried tofu was not greasy and the sweet and sour sauce was solid. Pad kee mao had a lot of flavor and the veggies were fresh. The medium spice level in my opinion was more than enough spice. If you're sensitive or prefer lower spice, go with the mild.

Yelp
Love the ambiance and environment of this place! It's tucked in a quiet neighborhood and when you walk into the restaurant, it's like walking into your grandmother's home. Cozy, warm, and very inviting. They have a small parking lot to the side, but plenty of street parking. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but you'll gamble with outdoors. Colorado weather haven't been too predictable lately or maybe it is, 4pm-7pm thunder showers, lol? The service quick and attentive for a table of 6. We each had our own dish and I got the drunken noodles. It did not disappoint and hit the spot. My boyfriend was jealous of mine, since he got the Panang curry. Not that it wasn't good, mine was just more appetizing and sounded better at the moment. Since it's just down the ways from where we live, we might just have to venture out to this place again. We will be back!

Yelp
Yum, yum, yum!!! This place is so cute and everything from the appetizers to the entrees is so full of flavor. (You can ask for "spice levels" from 1 to 5.) Tons of vegetarian-friendly options, too. Loved our server who was very funny and made great recommendations.

Yelp
The food was very flavorful. The Tom ga soup coconutty good. I enjoyed the pad Thai and my 2 favs drunken noodle and pad sien. I am just so sorry I don't have leftovers. I look forward to a return visit. The service was friendly and efficient. We liked sitting outside especially with 2 small kids.

Yelp
One of my favorite Thai spot in Denver! If you're in the mood of spicy, Ros Siam has got you covered. My go to is the drunken noodles, level "hot" with a nice cold Thai iced tea. Highly recommend the shrimp roll for apps, it's crunchy delicious and the sauce is addictive. Price point is reasonable and staff is always friendly, definitely give this spot a try if you're in the area!

Yelp
The pad see ew is really great. I bring all my out of town friends here and they've loved it too. Charming spot.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype! Came last minute for dinner and was able to be seated right away. We tried the veggie egg rolls which were very tasty and not too oily. The sweet and sour spice that it came with was great and made it a little more "exciting." For dinner, we tried the drunken noodles which is one of their specialities and one of the best drunken noodles I've had! Super flavorful with fresh tasting vegetables. We also tried the eggplant stir fry which was delicious. My only FYI is regarding the spice- we got a level 2 and 3 (out of 5, 5 being their most spicy) for each entree respectively and they were pretty darn hot.. would probably not get hotter then a 1 or 2 next time and we usually like a medium spice.

Yelp
Food was excellent. The ambiance is good for casual or business or romantic. Service is great. Plenty of parking. Prices are good. Really enjoyed it.

Yelp
We usually order takeout and it's alright. Not fantastic, but it's good. Then we came in and it was DELICIOUS! It was busy yet they were on top of it, mostly. We were dying for some more water but they only seemed to have one worker and she was running around so I don't think she remembered. The food was steamy and the had the perfect flavor. Will be coming in again.

Yelp
Well I just found my new go to Thai food spot. Came here with my partner and ordered green curry, papaya salad, Thai iced tea, and drunken noodles. The green curry was phenomenal. The best way I could describe it is it tastes like a really great warm hug. The bamboo flavor really shines and it is both sweet and savory. So so good and I am not even a big curry fan. The papaya salad was also just spectacular-- they must put something illegal in the marinade because I was addicted. I asked for a container just so I could take the marinade home. I dipped cucumbers into it today as a snack. The drunken noodles was solid also, with the beef being very tender. Finally the Thai iced tea was great and really nice to have to cool down some of the heat that was building up in our mouths because we were eating the food so quickly lol As a note, we ordered a spice level 2 and if you tend to err on the little to no spice at all I recommend going down to a 1 because it does pack a punch! We WILL be back.

Yelp
How does this place not have more reviews? I am in LOVE with this place. Their curries are so complex and flavorful. And they actually add spice. I've been to Thai places where the "spicy" is a mild at best. They have 5 spice levels, 1-5, and I've been getting spicier each time. The green curry is so good and they use these small eggplants which maintain their integrity. Level 2 spiciness gives it a nice kick, level 3 is better. The pumpkin curry is also so good. The pumpkin adds a bit of sweetness, so I get level 4 for this one. This place is a whole mood. The service is good and depending on when you go (I usually go on weekends), there's a sassy lady dealing with the to go orders. She's very entertaining and very sassy. The ambiance is lacking, but that's ok. I come here for the amazing Thai food. I do think you get more food when you dine in and the food is also cheaper for dine in. Also, if you order through Uber eats or Grubhub, it's way more expensive. If you have the time, call in the order and pick it up- they give you the same price as dine in. Overall, this is my favorite Thai place in the Denver metro area and they definitely have the best curries.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food! I just moved to Denver and in my old city my go-to spot was a Thai restaurant. I was hoping I'd find a place that's just as good and ros siam did not disappoint. I got the pad Thai, which had great flavor and the right balance of noodles, veggies, peanuts and egg. The veggies spring rolls were crispy and the sauce was perfectly sweet. I'll be ordering again soon to try some curry!
google avatar

Nikki L.

Yelp
Best Thai in Denver! I've been here a couple of times and their food is always outstanding. The papaya salad with shrimp is tough to beat (need more shrimp though). The amount of lime juice used in the recipe makes the dish. Glad to have a great thai place so close by. Prices are reasonable also.
google avatar

Kelly E.

Yelp
This is my favorite Thai food in Denver. I've dined in house and gotten togo quite a few times and food is consistently good. Restaurant is very cute, too, and it's easy to dine in even on busy weekends, etc
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the buetiful historic building, maybe it was a home? The stained glass and rough brick and plaster walls were inviting. The service was stretched a bit tight but the food made it worth the wait. The Green curry was fabulous and rich with flavor, happy to see the green was natural and not enhanced by food coloring. Tom Kha soup was loaded full of flavor. Shrimp, cabbage, mushrooms, and a nice blend of spice and coconut milk. The Pad Thai was solid. I liked the way they laid out the ingredients so you could decide on how much peanuts, lime, and sprouts you wanted in each bite. We also had the Drunken Noodles. The flavors were bold and spicy. I loved the touch of kaffir leaves, which added an exotic burst. I'd go out of my way for their curry. That really stood out and was exceptional. They don't serve alcohol, but still a nice place for a friendly meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Still delicuous food and great service. Unfortunately, we ordered a vegan pad kee mao and found copious amounts of egg in it. We ate it so we did not waste food, but it is a bit sad to have vegan option listed and ask for it and receive different.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, cool vibe for eating at the restaurant. it's our go to for takeout highly recommend for pick up or delivery

Missy P.

Yelp
Really cute place! We got take out and the food was awesome! Plus they are one of the only places I have found where you can get cream cheese wontons WITHOUT crab! Loved it all
google avatar

Susan U.

Yelp
I ate here the other night with friends, and enjoyed it so much we came back again tonight. The food is fresh, great flavors, and good portions. The ambiance is warm and cozy, very homey - you feel more like you are visiting a friends home than sitting in a restaurant. Service is attentive and helpful. I'm gluten free, and they were very helpful with helping me get what I wanted for dinner. Wish I lived closer and could come back more often!

Monica P.

Yelp
My pumpkin curry was perfectly prepared with crisp-tender vegetables and beef. The jasmine rice was fresh-made. Our fried tofu appetizer was equally well-done. My partner had chicken fried rice, which was loaded with fresh veggies, and our coconut ice cream/stickie rice dessert was the perfect finish to a nice meal. Val provided great service with recommendations and guidance on how hot we should go....highly recommended.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Relaxing neighborhood spot with friendly service, affordable price, and outdoor seating It has multiple spicy level options too. Would be a regular here for sure
google avatar

Ellie B.

Yelp
Wow this place was incredible. We sat on the patio which was super cute but the indoor part of the restaurant is also really cool because it's a house that was converted. An adorable white cat visited us on the patio and the server told us it's the neighbor's that likes to hang out there. I had the green curry and my mom had the basil stir fry which were both very good but the curry was definitely the highlight. The crispy tofu was delicious and you can pick your own spice level, but I will say that the spice comes through a lot stronger in curry than stir fry. Thai tea was very tasty, not overly sweet like at some thai places and the service was very good. Needless to say I will be back again some day and I highly recommend!
google avatar

Craig A.

Yelp
I spotted this restaurant while driving by and came back that night to try it. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Panang curry with shrimp and it was delicious. Spice level was exactly right and as ordered. I dined in, which was fine. They stock Singha, for those who like the Thai beer. Overall, certainly recommended and a Thai place I will be happy to drive to.
google avatar

Kristin C.

Yelp
This is my new favorite! Everything I ordered was delicious! Crab cheese wontons, vegetable egg rolls, and Pineapple curry were all so good! A friend of mine warned me about the spice, so I went mild on the pineapple curry, and so glad I did. I would say their mild is closer to a mild + at other places. I'll definitely be back!

Madison T.

Yelp
I live in Cap Hill and I will GLADLY drive 15 minutes to eat/pick up here. I love the feel of inside dining. Very personal and cute. (Full disclosure: there are thai places around my area that i have tried and this is simply the best one I have had.) Staff is very nice.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
When they say hot they mean it. We went with hot and my sister loved it but I've never sweat so much eating anything in my life. Let's just say I'm very glad we got it to go so I didn't look like one of those silly people who orders too hot even when the waiter suggests you not to...lol! I will say there was great flavor regardless of the heat and I will be back to try medium! Large portion sizes, we shared and still had so much leftover.
google avatar

Brianna T.

Yelp
I love this place so much! For a place near downtown, it has it's own parking lot! For a person who can't parallel park to save her life, that was good news for me. The owner is so nice and funny. This place serves real Thai hot meals so from levels 3+ it can get really spicy. I'm more on the mild-medium side so I got a 2 and it was plenty of spice for me. I always get their pad thai. It's so good. The spice is perfect and not overwhelming like a spice challenge making it enjoyable. I've also gotten the cream cheese wontons which were great too. The mango sticky rice is seasonal and it was very good as well. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
Went here with a woman's group. The restaurant is in an old house and doesn't seat a ton. It was well decorated and we were seated right away (had a reservation). We all had the Thai iced tea. It was delicious. I had Pad Thai. I asked for #2 hotness and that was enough for me -there was heat, but I could still enjoy. The waitress was friendly and attentive. She obliged when asked to take our photo. The prices were very reasonable. GPS sent us a block out of the way, so pay attention.
google avatar

Loreen G.

Yelp
This is a cute place with really great service. Ordered the green curry with chicken and jasmine rice with a heat level of 5 (1-5). Really enjoyed the dish and it could have been a little hotter for me and I would not have complained. I gave them 4 stars only because I reviewed another Thai place in Aurora recently that I liked a little better (Bua Thai) I will definitely be back to sample more dishes!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I've walked by Ros Siam more times than I can count, and finally decided to give it a try for lunch! Pad Thai is not my usual, but I was having craving and ordered chicken pad thai with medium spice. The portion was way bigger than I was expecting, and ended up being plenty to eat over two lunches. The medium spice was spot on. The chicken was a bit dry and the sauce was sweeter than I generally like for Pad Thai, but a solid lunch overall. The interior of Ros Siam is so charming and I love all of the outdoor seating. I will be back to try some of my usuals.... Pad See Ew, Massaman Curry, Panang Curry, and will report back!

Jenee W.

Yelp
This is the best Thai curry we've found in Denver and we've been searching for 3 years. Highly recommend the pineapple, panang and masman....even mild is decently spicy is the only caution. So happy we found this place!
google avatar

Maggie E.

Yelp
We regularly order pickup/delivery from Ros Siam and it's consistently delicious! Their wontons are unmatched and we also love their spring rolls, pad kee mao, and their curries. They are not messing around with their spice levels - be forewarned that it can be HOT. Most of the time you don't mind - it's so good that you eat through the pain 10/10 would recommend!

Yelp
Delicious Thai dishes in a cute little house with outdoor seating

Yelp
Love their food, spice level zero! We have gone back several times and every time has been wonderful.

Yelp
I love when I am left speechless !!! Ros Siam, YOUR CRAFTED QUALITY FOOD IS FANTASTICAL !! I've been searching for food made with care, love , quality and skill. You made my entire week fl daydreaming about the flavors and delightful perfection! Bravo!
google avatar

Jon K.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food dishes in a local neighborhood setting. Friendly staff and good service. I really appreciate the authentic spices and that you can customize the spice level (1-5). Three was just right for me.
google avatar

Anne B.

Yelp
BEST Tom yum I've EVER had-- even in Thailand!!! Everything was delicious! Red curry is a must!
google avatar

Casey M.

Yelp
I love everything about this place!! First off the food is always delicious! We've been both in person and have ordered take out and there's never a difference in quality! Their pumpkin curry is my go to and always hits the spot. Others have raved about their green and massaman curry and their pad Thai! Their sticky rice is always perfectly made and pairs well with every dish. We met the owner once when dining in and she was an absolute doll! Made us feel so welcome and shared her story of opening right before Covid hit! The food speaks for itself but if it doesn't a brand new restaurant surviving the pandemic truly does! The vibe inside is cute and homey and they have a nice little outdoor section for the warmer months as well! My one and only complaint is how limited their appetizer selection is and that they often have items out of stock. Regardless go support this small business! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Jayne B.

Yelp
Consistently delicious and fresh, generous portions! Extensive menu for diverse tastes and delivery options for eating-at-home nights!
google avatar

Cecily B.

Yelp
This place is so delicious!! I just went today for lunch and it was snowing and cold outside and it just made my heart happy. I love the spice combinations and heat level. I get a level 2 and it's plenty for me. It is a very quaint atmosphere that feels like you are being served from a friends kitchen. The curry is filling and served with a sticky jasmine rice. I love their crab cheese wontons, too. Makes awesome left overs (if you have any left!) I almost want to eat it all in one sitting though because it is so good! The servers are friendly. We like to ask them their favorite dish, too. Explore the menu!
google avatar

Lindsey C.

Yelp
I have had a hard time finding Thai restaurants in Denver that I like but this one was pretty darn good. I ordered delivery and thankfully it went smoothly and I received pretty quickly so I didn't even have to reheat. I started with the Crispy Rolls which were pretty tasty. For dinner I had the Pad Kee Mao "drunken noodles" and ordered "hot" and holy hell was it ever, lol! This is one of the first places I've ordered from in Denver that actually delivers on the spice. It wasn't the best I've had but definitely delicious and would order from here again!
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Love the pad Thai it is the most authentic I have had since moving to Denver. Everyone is alway so nice and friendly.
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
Hands down the best Thai food in Denver and our go to spot. We have tried over half of the menu and everything we've ordered has been great. The staff is extremely kind, food is consistent, they're very quick, and they know how to do spice! Can't recommend this place enough!
google avatar

Gus L.

Yelp
We found Ros Siam on yelp after a long day outdoors. The food was excellent! We had the Curry, Pad See EW, and Pad See Mao (drunken noodle). If you have a craving for some really good Thai food, eat here!
