Food was meh but the drinks were 10/10! Such creative and unique cocktails, tasted great, and the happy hour makes them super affordable! We got the hummus and burrata. They were pretty standard but great portions and the vibes were immaculate. I would definitely go back especially for happy hour. Service and atmosphere were very good!

Rose & Thorn completely wowed us! From the moment we stepped off the elevator at this new RiNo rooftop, we were enthusiastically greeted by staff at the host stand. As the hostess walked us through the bar area to our table, the manager made a point to welcome us to the venue. We sat by the pool and the high-level of customer service continued when our server came to our table. Then came the food. The Tuna Tartare, Elote, and Sweet Chili Shrimp were absolutely amazing. Like, seriously amazing! The inside area is very inviting, with a modern and warm feeling. They appear to have a large fireplace although it wasn't on being that its summer still. The patio area had ample seating and a great vibe. I'm glad that I found this place so close to their opening. Looking forward to making this a regular stop.

This sleek new cocktail bar in West RiNo is pure vibe. The interior is chic and stylish, but the real star is the rooftop pool. Sip on a craft cocktail, lounge in the water, and take in the panoramic city views—it feels like you’ve been transported to New York or Miami. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

I had such a great experience at Rose and Thorn! The vibe is super cool with the space feeling warm and inviting. It’s one of those places where you immediately want to hang out for a while. The food was delicious! The cocktails were also a standout. Service was on point too. Bartenders and servers were friendly and made sure we were taken care of without looking around for service. Definitely a new favorite. I’ll be back soon!

The entire team at Rose and Thorn are in a class of their own. Every single detail made our engagement celebration extra special. Shout out to Logan, GM. He put in that extra effort and added all of the special touches needed to make this celebration extra memorable. Well done sir ! Oh and did I mention the amazing view! We’ll definitely be back for many sunsets soon

Recently partnered with Rose & Thorn for a group fitness and wellness class! Truly the entire staff were INCREDIBLY helpful, shout out to Sophia for helping us set up and making it truly an amazing experience for all who attended. The bar staff were so great, after the workout and recovery they had ALL the cocktails out and ready to go! They were there to get everyone’s food orders and honestly the vibes were immaculate. Highly recommend & can’t wait for our next one! None of this would have been possible with out the superstar himself JoJo moving mountains to make it happen and it was a total success.

I was told they just recently opened, but the staff felt incredibly experienced and were on top of everything. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the view and atmosphere were truly indescribable—unlike anything else I’ve experienced in Denver. I can’t wait to come back and experience Thorn when it opens!

We also had the pleasure of partnering with Rose & Thorn for a fitness pop-up, and it couldn’t have been a better venue. Their team was so accommodating and professional, making the event smooth and enjoyable for everyone. We went right when they opened so things may have changed, but here is my honest feedback... Pros: - They views are cool, the pool is lovely. It's a great little rooftop deck/bar. - The indoor lounge space is cozy and inviting. - The two cocktails I had there were well balanced and delicious. Not overpriced, considering location and vibe. Cons: - The very first bartender we went to (shorter, older guy with a beard) was pretty rude. I understand they were extremely busy and this was probably one of their first services, but at one point while he was making drinks I asked him a question about one of the cocktails and he barked at me to please stop talking to him because he was trying to remember the ingredients and he would be with me in a minute. My friends and I were all kind of taken aback by that. I wasn't being annoying, I was very friendly... and it would've been my first drink of the night so it wasn't a great experience to start out. - This is definitely a bougier place. Some of the guests definitely made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Like we weren't fashionable enough, didn't look rich enough or had enough lip filler to be there. This place certainly has a type...

There is no doubting that this place is absolutely beautiful, that the drinks were delicious and well made, and the food was top notch. Unfortunately the overall experience was not great. My friend made a reservation for the pool and expressed that we were interested in swimming and cooling off. We were give direct permission to swim, relax, and enjoy. Upon arrival we were brought to the patio furniture around the pool which gets extremely hot in the sun. After enjoying a round of drink and food, we got into the pool and lounged around the sides. We were approached by the only other person at the pool and were harshly told what we can and cannot be doing. This person was a resident and told us that we couldn't even touch a lounge chair. It was very rude and unnecessary considering the 30 empty chairs all around. This person then contacted the waitress and manager and made a huge deal of it. We were eventually asked to get out of the pool. This seemed like a huge miscommunication handled very terribly. This was not a great look for the building as it is still leasing unit out.

Only went here once on the opening night, so they were slammed, but I would definitely go again! drinks were great and the ambiance was 10/10. Service was still super quick despite being really busy. Rooftop pool is open to the public in the summer! This is in a residential building so make sure to respect the people who live nearby!

Such a disappointing experience for my bachelorette party. Food was great, but they cram you into a very small space without enough seating for you and your guests. And you aren't allowed to use any of the white lounger chairs in the pool or around the pool because they are reserved for building residents. And all of their social media (and social influencers) show people enjoying the loungers in the po and around the pool. FALSE ADVERTISING! They didn't share this policy when we made the reservation. If you ask for extra seating for your party so people don't have to sit on the cement floor to eat food... they tell you no. Eventually a manager might be willing to bring you a poof to sit on. None of this was explained when I made the reservation. Also you need to bring your own towels, but again... nowhere to put your stuff. We were tripping over our pool bags in the tiny space. Tried to stuff them under the furniture, but couldn't. Also if you ride share here, Uber/Lyft will take you to a completely wrong address. We brought it up with the staff, and they said "yeah we know." Well then tell people when the make a reservation so they don't lose 20 minutes. Entrance is super confusing. The doors have signs that make you walk around the entire building like a scavenger hunt looking for velvet ropes that don't exist. Turns out the entrance is in a parking garage without any signs. Tried calling but no one would pick up the phone. Brought it up with staff and they said "yeah, we know." Again, tell people how to find the entrance when they make a reservation so they don't lose time. My guests said the service was slow and they felt unwelcome and uncomfortable here. I'll never get another bachelorette party. Management took $100 off the bill after I complained, but didn't bother to return my phone call to hear my feedback on the experience. Update: They wanted "to make things right" for me after I posted this to social media, and called me, but then only offered me a $25 gift card to use "per their policy." I live out of state, and all my friends flew to Colorado for the event, so the gift card is completely useless. Thanks for the amazing memories and "making things right" for my special day.

Hi! My wife & I of 10 years capped our 10-year anniversary night, here at the Rose & Thorn! This is the reason I want to reach out to you & your company to share a more than memorable experience at Rose & Thorn this past Saturday night! First, gorgeous location, impeccable decor, & most importantly the service has NO comparisons! As soon as we got off the elevator we were quickly greeted by Sofia at the entrance with a smile & warm welcome. To which we were led to a reserved area of the cocktail lounge with an emphatic Happy Anniversary & assured us that if we needed anything, we would have it. Sofia came back with a complimentary champagne & advised us Tye will be taking excellent care of us. This was a fact; Tye took care of us as if we were the only clients there. Which was not true, as they did have multiple other clients there enjoying the delicious cocktails, DJ spinning 90's & the amazing vibe. We enjoyed their espresso martini (Mr. Blonde) that a person could imagine was made to tickle the taste buds as the recipe was a Mr. Alto's reposado, blonde espresso, baileys, honey, & matcha foam. This is by far one of the best espresso martinis I have had in multiple cities in the US. Tye was very attentive/personable & at the same time gave us the space to enjoy ourselves as we relived the last 10 years of photos while we enjoyed the martini & atmosphere. Once we were ready to leave, we had the pleasure of meeting Manager Casey & General Manager Logan as we wanted to share with them our experience. I am a director of 35 plus employees, I know how challenging it can be to have EVERY employee buy into creating/maintaining an unparalleled positive experience. Logan & his team do this without fault & dare I say with ease/grace. Logan personally took time out of his busy night to give us a personal tour of this cocktail lounge inside & outside. The outside is just as special as the inside is. The views are breathtaking! Once our personal tour was done, he introduced us to the rest of his team & a larger party that was taking advantage of the Rose Petal. We ended up staying 2 hours longer than we expected due to this party, Logan, & his team. We felt like we were part of the Rose & Thorn family. Thank you, Logan, Casey, Tye, & Sofia. We will forever be grateful for this memorable experience as we all know that this is what life is truly about..... unforgettable experiences! We cannot wait to go back & bring all our friends to share this special place in Denver Colorado. I hope that people read this & take part in this magical cocktail lounge at the top of the Penrose.
