Rosebar Review - Dupont Circle - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Folks are outside and when they are, they don’t mind going to Rosebar. The two-story club in Dupont Circle has an enclosed rooftop off the back of the second floor, which is tiny, but covered in greenery and roses. A neon sign above the stairs reads “bad decisions make better memories,” and the ear-piercing music, barely-lit dance floors, and three free-flowing bars are there to help." - Tristiaña Hinton

The Rose Bar Review - Gramercy - New York - The Infatuation

"The Rose Bar is behind large velvet curtains on the ground floor of the Gramercy Park Hotel, and the walls are decorated with photos of various celebrities like Tupac and Paris Hilton. This should give you some idea of what goes on here. Expect pricey drinks, the occasional semi-famous person, and a space that feels like a Victorian parlor for people who know how to pronounce Givenchy. Just know that this place essentially turns into a club with a doorman at 9pm, and you will most likely see some people enjoying bottle service around that time." - Bryan Kim

This place was great. I went on a Friday night and had a blast. I bought a booth. Although it was costly I made up for it by meeting cool people. The ladies are the bomb up in here. Music is great and the drinks are strong. If you dont meet anyone here that means 1 or 2 things. You need to step your swag up or you need to be able to have a good mouth piece. Only issue that I had is they made me pay an extra $20 to get in because I had on black boots instead of dress shoes??? While others wearing black sneakers could get in for $20.

I have always loved Rosebar, I have been going there for years. Recently, I got a section there and I ordered it online with a $300 Deposit and I paid $300 when I got there. My biggest issue was I was told online that this section held 10 people and it absolutely did not. It probably held about 5 to 6 people comfortably. I would not have invited 10 people if online it didn’t say that this section could accommodate 10 people. What they do is they have an entire section and they separated by a divider which is the absolutely ridiculous! I have always loved to go to Rosebar for a wonderful night out, but I would not recommend getting a section there!

Visited this establishment during ATL cigar week. Strict enforcement of dress code on men and women. Great service, clean comfortable environment. The women's bathroom is EVERYTHING, lol. Delicious drinks. Grown and sexy crowd, thank goodness! GREAT DJ. Good times!

Google
Came here for the everybody eats truck and honestly Valet would’ve turned me away before I could’ve got the food.. I wouldn’t come back. Vibes seem terrible…

Google
Decided to visit this spot after a concert since my BF works security there and I knew we would be safe. Turns out it was super chill, great music, good drinks and the food from the food truck looked good even though we didn't eat...others did. There's $20 valet and a $20 entry fee. We sat on the outdoor deck/patio because the weather was amazing. We could still hear the music and our own conversations and watched people come in/out. Overall, it was a good time with a great vibe!! We all said we'd definitely come back! Oh..and the crowd was a good mix of young and old skool heads like us.

Google
I was here for a bridal party and I never write reviews. We had an awesome time, appreciate the fact it was grown and sexy with great culture of class. Music was on point, section was great. Staff was friendly, bathroom attendant which is unisex she literally has everything you need and made me feel if I didn’t have anything on me she has it , very attentive to your needs. I would of gave 5 stars. However the security upstairs blended with the crowd of people. Otherwise great environment great and thank goodness food truck was there which was tasty on the property. Definitely would visit again.

Google
Had a great time. You have buy food from food truck & your not allowed to take inside, have to eat on patio. The security & management is little over the top but, understandable. If you don't buy a section, you will have to stand all night & it gets very crowded. But I think I'll return. The cleaning lady is rude sweeping over you all night really annoying when your try have fun & watch your feet from being sweep with the broom.

Google
The club was pretty empty on Saturday. We enjoyed ourselves. DJ was ok. Bad part bathroom is upstairs. If you do bottle service expect to pay more than what they tell you. Not a bad place. I just wouldn't be going back. Also no smoking area.

Yelp
It's a hit or miss depends on the night and vibe you on!! This was a Friday night and the music was on point, drinks flowing. Just hate the parking.

Yelp
Came for a fun night out. Paid$20 to park luckily I got here early so I didn't have to pay entry. It's standing room only as this bar focuses on getting money through sections. My friends and I went in on a section paid$1000 total plus separate drinks ordered. Half way through the night another party gets sat in our section and we're dumbfounded because what lol we didn't pay to have to scoot over and be crammed. Eventually they were moved elsewhere but it should've never happened. There is no food! There is no food! You're only option is the food truck outside and I'm not even sure if you'd be able to bring it back inside lol. Luckily the bathroom attendant had snacks so my lil intoxicated self was happy to find her upstairs and grab a bag of chips lol my friends were like where the hell does you get snacks from!? So that was a fun thing to look back on. The music was great no silent dull moments where I sing to myself no music clap clap clap no music lol. I'd come back but I'd make sure to eat before I arrive and to reserve a section beforehand as well .

Yelp
No where to sit, food was bad, drinks were watered down. It customer service left a lot to be desired

Yelp
Good music and good decor but dead at 11:45 on a Saturday and the door person insisted she had to see our free reservation even though it was freezing. Once we got in there were 8 people total and they have every single section roped off. It doesn't make sense to reserve all seating on a slow night.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday night. Inside was dead and the inside of the establishment smelled like urine.

Yelp
Cute vibe. Crowd is pretty young. Music is loud, hookah could be stronger lol! Folks aren't wearing masks which was tough to see, but the staff did have theirs on. It's a great Biden for a few drinks or a pretty game spot. Some people treated it like the club, or had VIP, but a true club vibe was missing in my opinion. Decor is super cute!

Yelp
1st time visiting as I don't do clubs in Buckhead the environment and music was nice and pleasant...I was there celebrating my Lil Sister's birthday which kicked off the Gemini Season #TEAMGEMINI

Yelp
2/3/2019 Janky! Out of towner from LA town for the Super Bowl that has experienced this place previously summer 2018. Much better vibe last time. This time the club jacked the people that paid for entry - $40 for ladies & $50 for men. This nite, they took money from anyone that could take air in their lungs. Low to no standards!!! Punk ass Jiggas ( & not real men) dressed like bums while the ladies were dressed respectable - sexy & classy (mostly dresses & high heels). I'm puzzled ATL you're way better than the clown show that I witnessed last nite. Switch the date to Halloween then it's an awesome event for who is the scariest contest... Let's be clear - Rose is not what it once was. Although the music is hot, the place is overcrowded & small. Props to the ladies (for maintaining some dignity, while I have much respect and empathy for y'all - there appeared to be - no real substantive options in men to choose from). At least, from my viewpoint at Rose on this nite.

Yelp
Im a fan! Perfect spot to go if you want a mixed crowd, great music and more. The drinks were good, i like the fact they had couches and decor outside alot of ventilation in here which was good for the simple fact they have hookah here.I posted a picture of myself sister and a friend my other friend didn't quite make it in this picture but rose bar was definitely a good choice my sister made for the night life.

Yelp
Would give it one star if I could. Double booked our party and even though we were the 1st of the two booked parties to arrive, they chose to honor the other reservation. We were here to celebrate an engagement. The groom has planned this out for several weeks in full detail. We've all known about the plans, most of the group has flown from out of state. Security proceeded to let in other groups as we stand outside despite paying what we paid to do the opposite. The only option we were given was a refund for the section and to stand in the general admission line. The bride was visibly upset. Thank you rose bar for ruining what was supposed to be a beautiful celebration. I'm furious.

Yelp
I came in town fri. SAVANNAH looking for a spot to sip, hookah, and enjoy some music while sitting OUTSIDE this spot was it! Try it out!!
google avatar

Kohl A.

Yelp
The good music and food is negated by extremely poor management. We a had section booked weeks in advance to celebrate my friend's engagement. They double-booked the section and we weren't able to get it. They were not accommodating at all. With Atlanta having so many great locations, I would never recommend this establishment--many other great places to go out in the city!

Yelp
I frequent this place more than I'd like to admit, but let me tell you why..... Guys, this post is really for the ladies. Don't say I didn't warn you Parking: Ladies, unless you have a DD, I strongly advise against driving. Why? Guys there are infamous for buying girls drinks. Lots of them. If you must drive, I believe parking is $10? Don't quote me. Attire: Dress to impress. *Period.* Music: Usually a mix of r&b, afrobeats, soca, and hip-hop. Shake a cheek or catch a vibe. Crowd: I'd say it's usually 40 and under. I don't see too many youngsters. At least people that don't LOOK like youngsters. Fair estimate? 25-35. Dancing: So there's not an actual dance floor. There are sections, space around the bars, and places to walk that I use as a runway. There are adequate amounts of space around the main bar for people to congregate, mingle and dance. Long story short: I go there for the free entry and the copious amounts of free alcohol I am bound to receive. Sound cocky? Yeah I know. Going here gives you THAT type of confidence. Come one, come all.

Yelp
I am not a fan of clubs, but this was not a bad experience at all. I think this is the first time I've ever gotten into a black club with no cover... and on a Saturday night, no less?! I'll take it! More money for shots! The club itself was long and narrow. If you were not in VIP, you were definitely going to be rubbing elbows (and other things) with about a hundred or so of your closest friends. If you're like me and value your personal space, it's probably best to stay in the outside area. This is also the first time I've ever seen hookah in a nightclub. People had them posted up on every surface they could find except the bar. Speaking of the bar, I think they could have used an extra bartender at each of the bars. The service was a little slow and my bartender's memory was terrible. She asked me for my order three times over the course of about a minute and a half. A double Maker's Mark is not difficult to remember, boo. I'm all for having fun behind the bar, but maybe if you stop shakin ya ass for 5 seconds, you could remember what I asked for. Lol! I thought the bartenders' different outfits were really cute too: fishnet tights, super short shorts and tops with straps and/or cut outs. Sexy, but not ratchet. Loved it! The club scene in Atlanta was much more chill than I expected. I didn't feel like I had to be constantly on guard, waiting for a fight to break out, or being groped as I passed by. Nobody was trippin because the got bumped or their shoe got stepped on. Girls weren't mean mugging on each other, guys for the most part kept their hands (and other parts) to themselves (with the exception of the occasional guy who would reach out to grab the hand of a passing lady who caught his eye). And it was a pretty mixed demographic in there... Everyone from college students to 40-somethings. Crunk music comprised pretty much the whole playlist for the night, but it's the South... what do you expect? The outdoor area was a great alternative to the crowded club atmosphere inside. Even though people were smoking, it was a great place to enjoy the evening breeze and a cocktail without worrying about accidentally getting bumped by somebody who was just a little too crunk.

Yelp
Rose Bar is a solid choice for night life dancing in the Buckhead area. Every time I come to Rose bar I have a great time the DJ is amazing on Saturday night. There's never a cover charge for women. It's typically an older and mature crowd and everyone comes dressed to impress. There are plenty of bars located throughout the venue so it's very easy to get a drink. The bartenders are very attentive and the drinks are priced very well. They have valet available but if you go around the corner there is street parking in the nearby neighborhood.

Yelp
Liked/ Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked / Liked Saturday Nights are usually a great crowd Disliked \ Disliked \ Disliked \ Disliked \ Disliked Men can't wear WHITE shoes (unless they cost $1000 according to management), but sneakers of all other colors and styles were allowed.... Tight Space Not much room for dancing etc. mostly pathway and VIP sections

Yelp
I'm from ny. This shit is too overdone. Y'all making a cool ass spot wack. Stop looking at people footware and charging them based on it smh. This is so old. Y'all gotta get off that. Drinks are way too expensive. 16 is nuts. But. Atlanta is so wack if you looking for a vibe, this is the spot to come too. Men, Lots of ladies. Parking just 10 bucks. Men the door will bang you on the head.

Yelp
I went to EventBrite so that I can check out the day parties going on for SB weekend, I found this place since my friend stated it would be a good place to go, I got 3 tix (1 for me and 2for my friends) that stated FREE before 6(I included a pic) ,I gets to Rose Bar Lounge at 530pm, I walked right up and it was about 5people in front of me and the security and young lady taking the money stated that the RSVP was over at 5 and then went to state that what was advertised on Eventbrite was not them, howwwww, that was a complete lie but ok, I ended up paying to get in but why lie and make it seem like the RSVP advertised by them was fraud, That was real JANKY,Thumbs down
google avatar

Antwynette R.

Yelp
One of my favorite lounges/bars. Grown and sexy, nice atmosphere, and music is always on point. Parking also reasonable, valet is $10. It gets crowded on the weekends, so unless you get a section I wouldn't bother because seating is limited. $600 for a section and it gets you two bottles.
google avatar

Alyssa A.

Yelp
I didn't really care for this place too much. I like that ladies are free all night on Fridays, but when you get inside where can you really go? Standing/dancing room is pretty much non existent because everything is a roped off VIP section. And that's nice and all, but for the amount of people that come into this place, y'all should really consider expanding that skinny pathway that is the dance floor. Drinks are strong which is a plus, but the DJ wasn't that great to me. I don't like when a DJ plays the majority of the song through and then decides to mix the next song. You gotta keep the vibe going! Also, even though the sections are big the seating is very limited and people are right on top of each other. Kind of uncomfortable. Oh and the security is rude af. How you can be completely disrespectful to women who are just trying to figure out where to stand in this tiny establishment (especially within a section) is beyond me. It's not about what you say, but how you say it. The decor is cute and feels like a grown and sexy place but I'm not sure if I'd be eager to come back here. I'll give it another try but until then I'll party elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Rose Bar is alway cool. Although overrated. The crowd always depends on the night, some nights a younger vibe and some older. They are also overpriced, sections, drinks bottle, cover charge, parking, etc. This has always been an last resort spot, when there is no where else to be. From a former employee stand point. It's a trash place to work, the men are harassing and them managers are very pushy.

Chanel A.

Yelp
This place is hard to find and easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area. You can only smoke indoors on certain days, and they don't serve food. You have to rely on a food truck to show up outside. The owner's wife is extremely rude, and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the reason this place goes out of business. I'm honestly okay with never going there again.
google avatar

Jonah D.

Yelp
My friends and I had the worst experience here. The club has posted that they open at 10pm. We arrived via an Uber at 10:07 pm. We walked in the club and they told us they were closed. I told bouncer that the website says it opens at 10pm. The bouncer said yes it does, but tonight we are going to open at 10:30. He then insisted that my friends and I wait outside in 30 DEGREE WEATHER. We asked to wait inside until our Uber ride came, but he refused to let us. Businesses need to be consistent with the times they have posted, very unprofessional! will never patronize this establishment again.
google avatar

Yelp
I'd heard some great things about Rose Bar recently and from the pictures I've seen on Instagram and their website I was Uber excited to make it here. First, I got here and the parking and line were ridiculous. So, I was already kind of turned off. I stood in line for a while waiting for my boyfriend to find parking. Once he got to me we waited about another ten minutes or so before we were inside the establishment. I kept hearing he had to pay $20 but we both entered without a fee. We got to the bar and met up with out friends and ordered some drinks. The club was packed! Normally this would be a good thing but this is described as an upscale lounge, so I was thinking I'd be relaxing, chillin maybe smoking a little hookah. Instead I was bombarded by people bumping into me, a DJ who kept having us waiting in silence and a hot ass atmosphere that had me escaping outside a couple times. If I wanted to go through all of this I'd go across the street to Havana and party but I wasn't even looking for that this night. The set up is pretty nice with these cabana seats outside but it was just too chaotic. This is definitely more of a nightclub than a lounge and you won't be able to hear the people you're with if you aren't yelling. No thanks!
google avatar

Yelp
Blah. My girls and I went on Friday night. The crowd was mature, everyone dressed nicely. A few VIP sections, otherwise no place to sit. For starters, the bar has valet parking for $5. We got a hookah for $30. The coals are free, however, we would only get one coal each time someone came around to change the coal; thus, the smoke wasn't too strong. His rationale was the flavor would burn too quickly, not necessarily, but whatever. After waiting for several minutes to get a drink, I finally squeezed between the rude bitties taking up bar space and not actually ordering drinks. Even after saying excuse me, these chicks didn't try to move an inch! My Ciroc with a splash of pineapple was $11-small cup filled with ice, not even to the brim. I asked the barista to top me off with Ciroc because the drink was weak and she replied she already did her pour. Silly girl, maybe you would have gotten a better tip! All I ask for is a full cup, sheesh! The music was just ok. Lots of throwback R&B and hip-hop, I mean I love to swag-n-surf, but gimme some new ish too!!! While leaving, there was a very belligerent female trying to attack a gentlemen working at the Valet stand in the rain. The staff were threatening to call police on her. Not sure what pissed her off, but she made a lot of commotion, falling on the ground and all. Cool spot to hit up if your bored and want to get out for some ok music, ok drinks, and ok hookah. Not sure if I'll make it back!

Ashley D.

Yelp
This is not the place for single ladies. Come with a guy. The manger is a jerk. No customer service skills at all. We came early my drink spilled and he would not replace it. We tried to sit it at a un- reserved table and he wanted us to stand for a hookah. Smh. The place was empty..... not female friendly.
google avatar

Alexus S.

Yelp
Came first for a networking event, and then to party. My group had a table, so once the club opened for the public, we were able to chill and relax. Service was pretty great, but security was a bit overbearing. The DJ was playing some delicious music. I will say, since we had a table with bottles, we were able to get some strong drinks. I'm not sure how strong the drinks are otherwise. Friday nights are pretty lit. A pretty mature crowd. The space isn't too large, but there is enough room to move about and dance. I probably would return.
google avatar

J R.

Yelp
This place is overrated! It's in a great location, so if only they focused more on customer service, it would be great. The bouncers or security or whatever you want to call them are rude af! They think they're Secret service. For an establishment that sells hookah, their ventilation is rather poor. You leave smelling like you've been smoked. This was my 3rd time visiting this bar., and again I was disappointed. There were only 3 of us but we decided to get a table anyway. It's a 3 bottle min, even though several of the tables were still empty at 1:30am; and this is on a Saturday night. I didn't want to be confined to our table so I made a drink and walked around. Again, the infamous secret service agents flash a light in your face and ask you to make room in the middle. Make room for who? No one is coming through, sir! Be nice to your customers - it's because of them this place is open and therefore you have a job.

Yelp
I am in currently in a walking boot/cast and this establishment attempted to deny my entry due to the fact that I was wearing a sneaker with my boot (the only shoe my doctor told me to wear). I work in a professional environment and even there I'm allowed entry with my medical condition and a sneaker in order to avoid throwing out my hip. I only got in because my friend had a replacement shoe in their car. This place should be more accommodating to people with medical conditions rather than trying to treat us unfairly. Normally I like this place but I'm highly disappointed tonight and will be attempting to speak to the manager or owner.

Yelp
Someone roofied me here late February 2018. But, all good, no worries. I missed my next (early) morning flight to Miami and ended up meeting my now girlfriend. Other than almost dying, it was a pretty good time. 4 stars because I shouldn't have had to watch my drink when I had the biggest table in the place. *thumbsup*

Yelp
I like Rose Bar, but it's definitely not for everyone. I would use it as a pre-game spot and then continue the night elsewhere. Friday night is for sure an older crowd, I'm 24 and felt completely out of place. I can't remember the last time I went, but it was more relatable clientele, I imagine this was a Saturday. OUTSIDE Small parking lot, and I think valet extends the lot to the spaces nearby, I've never driven, but I do know that line gets real long around peak hours. It's interesting to read other reviews, because I've never paid cover and never had trouble with the bouncers. Realize the later you get somewhere the more likely there will be cover (especially for men), and that they will be more strict with dress code. Of course, these things are subjective, and hopefully your bouncer is having a good day. The outdoor patio is where I usually frequent (PACKED inside), and it is a nice small area with patio furniture, where you can smoke and drink. INSIDE Here's where they start going downhill in my book. There is absolutely no room to walk in this place when it gets packed. If there was a fire, we'd all certainly meet our doom. I've never had trouble ordering a drink, which are pricier here I've noticed, but after that you better get outside or get a section, and the sections account for at least 70% of the space inside the venue. There's barely an aisle to walk and you will definitely get pushed and shoved and will push and shove yourself for sheer survival. MUSIC&ATMOSPHERE Hip Hop and Oldies, I may have heard some Carribean vibes and Top 40 but not too sure. The atmosphere has been older (~35 average) recently, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, just no group I would approach. The inside is also so packed, and gets so loud, that you probably barely have the energy to talk to anyone anyway, including your friends. BOTTOM LINE I like what Rose Bar offers, but I'm going early, leaving early, and hoping I saw someone my age.

Yelp
Had the BEST time at this spot! It's open til 5am or so and if you're staying in Buckhead this spot can't be beat.

Yelp
Great place, great atmosphere absent the terrible staff. No cover on Friday and Saturday night which is almost unheard of nowadays. I was particularly skeptical especially as it's been years since I've been to place without cover and where I didn't get bottle service. Great music, loved the hookah. Hookah staff was excellent. Bartenders and Security were super rude and unfriendly. Bathrooms could use and upgrade; however, the music was straight. Very narrow establishment, seems to be a late 20s/ early 30s crowd. I would say go and check it out you've got nothing to lose. Do the hookah, for sure but th wise damn bartenders make you not want to buy drinks so rude! They and security are the reason I took off two stars. Go and say a prayer for me thanking me! Signed with Love and Calories, The Original Charlestonian #LEWReviews #TheOriginalCharlestonian

Yelp
I love Rose Bar! It is one of the few places in the area that has great music, great drinks, hookah & good mix crowd! My favorite time to go to Rose Bar is on summer nights. I enjoy hanging out with friends at the outside bar enjoying the great weather!

Yelp
This is a pretty decent lounge. I went here two wkds ago for a bday celebration. It's a bit overrated but I was able to meet a few celebs who were in there lowkey. So I thought that was pretty cool. Overall, the drinks are expensive and you can plan to wait 15-20mins just to get a drink. They barely have enough stuff to bartenders to keep with thirsty customers. It's a little small too. The best part about the place is the outdoor seating area when you first walk in.

Yelp
Love! Love! Love! Rose Bar...I will get into the pros and the cons, but first let me say I went here last night and had a phenomenal experience! The club is not very big and has inside and outside sitting areas. This club is upscale and the crowd identifies as such. A nice percentage of the crowd is filled with people who are attractive, and friendly. If you are a single male/female in Atlanta, looking to find a nice professional man or woman this is the place to be! Even if you are a outgoing person that enjoys meeting new people, this bar is the perfect place to mingle. The crowd is very diverse! Ranging from ages mid 20's into late 40's and there is a variety of ethnicities! Now, let me get into the pros and the cons. Pros: Valet Parking is available for $5 (It may be better to arrive early as I was leaving around 1:00-ish, I saw the valets a little confused about where to park the long line of cars full of people who waiting to get in). Great place for meeting people, drinks and hookah is good and they are good about refilling your coals every so often. Hookah is $30. Cons: You will stand up, unless you choose to book a VIP section, which can be very expensive or sit outside. (Which is not ideal when it is cold). If you consider $10 for a drink to be pricey, I would not advise you to go here. Beer on the other hand was $5. Attire: "Dressy" A lot of the women wore heels with their attire. and most of the men had on very nice blazers with dress shoes. I definitely give this place a two thumbs up and I will be returning soon!

Yelp
I've been a fan of rose bar for a long time. Love the music, love the vibe, love the crowd. However, tonight we paid for bottle service and received horrible service. The only bottle server was sent home for being drunk and overcharged us by 2 bottles. Then when we tried to leave, the other server ran us down to try to get the payment straight. The whole experience was completely tainted by the horrible service. Not sure I'll return

Yelp
The night was young when me and the friends decided to make an appearance at this spot. I wasn't sure what to expect but I liked the lounge feel to it. There is an outside patio area where there were sofas to lounge and view all of the incoming people or relax and enjoy your drink. As you walk to the inside it reminded me of a hidden blues jazz lounge. Im not saying that it appeared that way at all just in the way I felt when I initially walked in. Small house feel, wooden floors, cozy, with warm art on the walls. Everywhere I go I always find the artistic beauty of a place. The music was upbeat and loud as expected. Overall it was laid back until everyone started to enjoy the night. It was a small spot ... there were two bars one in the front and one in the back. I don't live in Atlanta so I wouldn't say that this would be my every weekend hangout. But if you're in the mood for a laid back atmosphere then this would be the place to visit. I enjoyed my experience here but not enough to say it was my favorite. Security was on point that night plus ladies were free on Friday. Staff was great as well.

Yelp
9/29/2018. Interesting experience here. I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I came here with my friend and we're told he can't get in because he has shorts on. Okay, we get it. Plenty of clubs have dress codes. We leave and try to find another bar. We ended up backtracking a few minutes later, and we see a couple walk in and GET in. The man? Shorts and a T-shirt. The exact same outfit my friend was in. The difference between the two? Hate to say it, but the only difference is skin color. Won't be back.

Yelp
Lounge is located in Downtown Atlanta across from the Havana Club. Upon walking into the Lounge there is a stand outside selling Caribbean Food. Walking into the venue is a tight walkway under a tent. Our first impression while looking into the venue is "where are the people". Ladies are "FREE" all night. I had a pair of flip flops which security took out not that I was going to wear them while in the club as that's tacky but because there was a long walk in our hotel i brought them so I would be comfy after the club. Good part about that was being able to get them at the end of the night as the host made sure they were under her table. The club is a decent size however it's very narrow and the sides are closed off for vip which means your basically standing in the middle which was annoying as the security kept saying we have to keep the aisle clear but there was no other place to go. The bathroom was very nice and the music was great played Hip Hop, R&B and Afro Beats. However, hated that there was no hype man. The drinks were strong and the hookah is very reasonable $40 and the good part about that is they kept changing the coal. Wear comfy shoes again ladies as there is no where to sit unless you have VIP. The dress code is very "Grown and Sexy" everyone looked wonderful.

Yelp
When I walked in, there was almost no one there, so we easily snagged some good standing space at the bar. Drinks are reasonably priced. Music was good. The bartenders were nice and quick to serve us. I tried one of the hookahs, and will probably not hookah at this spot again. The layout is a little uncomfortable. Once the place gets packed, it gets tough to move around. The bathroom situation is definitely not ideal. There's only space for 2 or 3 people in there at a time, and they have an attendant in there "directing traffic"... but she often rushes those inside in order to keep the line moving. Those waiting in line outside the bathroom door are standing right in the way of the steps, so the bouncers will continually tell you that you cannot stand there. The majority of the space is taken up by couches reserved for people who buy bottles, so there isn't much space for anything else. Everyone ends up standing in a line pushed against the walls, because the bouncers come through constantly telling everyone to clear a walkway so people can easily get from the front of the establishment to the back... it can get a little pushy and shove-y. There is outside seating available, and there are 2 bars inside. Coat check is cash only... there is an ATM next to the door when you come in. Will I go again? Sure, maybe one day, but I likely won't be a regular at this spot.

Yelp
I would give this place a zero if possible. I was not let in due to wearing Givenchy flats. They considered them sneakers however they let my friends in who were men in adidas and converse in. I have never experienced discrimination before in this manner and shocked that it came from a night club in Atlanta. The other clubs and bars including American Prime were fine with my designer shoes tonight. To each is own.

Yelp
This place was lit. If you like the grown and sexy crowd then definitely a must go. The women was countless. Dudes bumping into me actually said excuse me or my bad. No flexing, good vibes. Austin says thank you for the love ATL.

Yelp
The Lounge was decent. Very compacted, so no room to really move around or dance. The drinks were good, but the hookah was not very smooth. It was a nice mature crowd of individuals though.

Yelp
Do not waste your money! They're COMPLETE lack of professionalism and conscious. We were charged for wearing designer sneakers although the advertisement and promotion stated men free until 1230. What it failed to tell men is, sneakers of any kind is $20. The cost is not much in the grand scheme of things when it comes to nightlife in Atlanta, but don't HALF advertise!! Our group wasn't the only group with concerns. A party of 8 turned away!! And for those whose who want to say the "sneaker" dress code keeps out the riff-raffs, please check out other adult locations locally like Glenn House Rooftop, The W Buckhead and Lava Lounge on Sunday's! NO PROBLEMS!! We have to make them respect us and understand green is green or they will continue to put TARIFFS on us! (PS Rose is owned by a person of Africa descent!)

Yelp
Went here last night (Friday). Across the street from Havana. They have valet and it's $10 on the way out. Upon arrival it was totally dead. The drinks are priced average ($11 for Malibu and pineapple). The inside of the lounge is nice. My reason for 3 stars: every single seated area except the outside patio was roped off for bottle service. So if you're a girl in heels who wants to sit down you can forget it. Crowd wise - it was 30-somethings. I came with a group of 5 girls. Everyone else there was African American - which is fine just know it's not a very diverse crowd. The music was ok, just super loud inside. All hip-hop. We guzzled down our drinks and left after about 30 minutes. During the time we were there it remained dead. Overall the decor and style of the place is nice but if your club is EMPTY, Don't rope off every area for bottle service. Pro tip: they have a dress code. A girl in our group had crystal encrusted thong style sandals and she was turned down. I saw a guy with dark sneakers on offered entry with a $20 cover. We didn't pay any cover.

Yelp
Small and no seats unless you buy a section. I had some sandals in my purse and the security took them. I managed to get them back after a bartender told me that as long as i didnt take my heels off and kept my sandals away id be fine. Wear your cute comfortable heels if you aren't sitting in a section. I can say that policy weeds out the tacky but at least have seats available for free.
