A Burger and Brunch Bar Expands to Old Town and Four More Openings to Know - Eater Chicago

"Adalina, the swanky bi-level modern Italian restaurant that debuted last summer, will be opening a speakeasy-style bar called Rose Lounge on Thursday, February 24, according to a rep. Hidden behind a secret door on the first floor, the Rose Lounge can accomodate 50 drinkers by candlelight and will serve a variety of wines, spirits, and original cocktails." - Naomi Waxman

So glad to have found and publish this Google Maps location, and write the first Google Maps review! Located below Adalina, this speakeasy plays 90s Hip-Hop music with some underground (pun intended) jams. Highly recommend reservations whether you are planning to go earlier or later. Service and Cocktails are excellent. Cocktails are very well-crafted so enjoy responsibly. Aaron himself is also on the floor providing a helping hand - Very nice gentleman. Can't wait to go back. Pictured here are the Capo: Ring Around The Rosie, Don: Walnuts Old Fashioned, and Don: Negroni #47

We went on a Thursday night, so there werent a lot of people. Recommend reservations. This place is located below the Adalina. You need to take the elevator down from the restaurant. For drinks we had the Woo girl and Side Peach. The cocktails were great, the vibes were nice and the server did a good job. We did paid street parking close-by.

I hosted an engagement party at Rose Lounge and was blown away by the service, pre- and post-event communication, and the quality of the drinks and atmosphere. It was the perfect venue for a private event our size (~50 people). Can't thank the team enough for all their help throwing an amazing party!

Best restaurant experience I’ve had. Fatimah was the most warm, welcoming presence. Our experience wouldn’t be the same without her! She made our time at Adalina so special. My boyfriend and I were celebrating his medical school acceptances, and she celebrated with us like family. Thank you, Fatimah!

Intimate and hip. Very talented bartender in a cozy lounge that is well supported with excellent service. The DJ delivers a fun atmosphere and ad hoc dancing is not an odd thing of the mood strikes. Many great speakeasy/ lounges in Chicago but this is great on the Golf Coast.

Great atmosphere and creative, tasty cocktails. Not outrageously priced considering the unique vibe and upscale location. A top cocktail bar experience.

Google
They advertise as speakeasy with mafia themed cocktails but blast rap music. Also, bartender reached his mouth with his finger to pick up that stuck food in his teeth and kept preparing the cocktails. Not going back!

Yelp
Tacky cheap decor. The wood in the chairs covered in a synthetic burgundy velvet. Cocktails were bland and overpriced. Music... from around 2016. Grown adult crowd that found the spot on Yelp, like us. We searched "young romantic hip bar" I guess that explains how lame we are.

Yelp
Cool sleek lounge vibes underneath the new Adalina restaurant! We checked in up front, went upstairs and then took a back elevator down. However, there is a an entrance hidden in the wall right of the check in station. The sleek lounge vibes are great for a date night. Cool looking bar, seating and chandeliers. Now the reason it didn't rate so well was the pricey and poor cocktail selection. They didn't even taste all that great. For a place like this that's a must. Not too big, probably seats about 40 or so. However, if you want to have some wine/champagne/spirits and go here for the vibes, it hits!

Yelp
Incredible price on Yam 12 but lacking in atmosphere. Felt cramped with meh music and the lights way too bright. I think the concept needs to be honed quite a bit more before it can be called a "one-of-a-kind experience." Like, yo, what is here that hasn't been happening at the side tables in the Berkshire Room for the last decade?
