Inside West 7th’s Rose Street Patisserie Bread Lab - Eater Twin Cities

"In late October, Kraus and Rose announced they would close one bakery, Linden Hills’ Rose Street Patisserie to focus on other businesses, including a one-of-a-kind bread lab. Located behind the bakery and cafe on West 7th inside the former Schmidt Brewery’s rathskeller building, the goal is to train the next generation of bread makers in the Twin Cities." - Joy Summers

Rose Street Patisserie - Review - Linden Hills - Minneapolis - The Infatuation

"It’s not hard to find an OK croissant or cookie - everywhere from airport coffee shops to grocery stores are full of them. But if you want the kind of handmade pastries that will make you question your entire life up until that point, go to Rose Street Patisserie in Linden Hills. They serve all of the greatest hits of French pastry, like eclairs, macarons, gateaux, tartines, and croissants, along with freshly baked bread, cookies, and chocolates. If you need something else between pastries, they also serve breakfast and lunch options like quiches and paninis throughout the day." - Kyle Meehan

I loved the pear danish’s buttery crust; the thin layer of cream under the pear was fantastic. The blueberry muffin was not over sweetened, which allowed the blueberries to shine. Wonderful canelé - moist and rich on the inside, burnt rum crust on the outside. You should come.

The servers are very knowledgable and friendly. The cafe space is gorgeous and of course the desserts. Good lord, those desserts! We got a lemon tart and an isles rose. Both were incredible; soft, moist, and very, very flavorful. We can't wait to go back.

Outstanding pastries. Custard danish, apple walnut danish, and pain au chocolate were all amazing. I could eat here everyday for breakfast if it weren’t so decadent. Desert selection looked incredible as well. Will be back soon, highly recommended!

Very nice cafe and bakery, with food options as well. Brunch type food, very authentic French, delicious coffee with house made syrups. Lots of seating: main level, upstairs, and patio when it’s nice outside! Good brunch meeting spot for families and friends, and also for working on a computer or reading a book. There’s a small parking lot but it’s usually full. Priced similarly to other spots in Linden Hills, but the food and atmosphere are worth it. Excellent service, the folks here are all so nice and kind. :)

Love this place. Excellent baked goods, good coffee, really appreciated the servers. The room is noisy, needs some sound baffling. My softboiled egg was closer to hardboiled.

Super delicious avocado toast and don't get me started on the amazing pastries!! Went with a chocolate hazelnut treat and thought about it for weeks after.

Fantastic food and fancy pastries. Only a few spots in the parking lot so be prepared to find street parking.

Good ambiance, good food and good service. However, it is on the expensive side
