We went here for New Year’s Eve for dinner around 9pm. The restaurant was super busy, and very lively! We had a party of 4 and all had drinks. We got 2 appetizers and 4 main courses, with a pizza to share. Appetizers were salad and truffle ricotta focaccia I believe, 2 orders of veal bolognese, truffle pizza, and rigatoni (which was supposed to be gluten free but came wrong the first time). The food was okay- the ricotta appetizer and chocolate torta were the best things we had. The server got our order of gluten free pasta wrong - even though we mentioned it, and was talking badly about our table to another server behind our back. They didn’t apologize or offer to compensate us, just made comments on the side between servers. Overall, atmosphere was great but I think the food is overpriced and the service could be a lot better.

I went to rosemarys and the guy Michael was welcoming at the door. He showed his hospitality skills from the beginning to the night so I want to shout him out. My waitress was Algea, she had a patient and great personality when serving us. Therefore they made my service experience very well. The espresso martini was super good pretty sweet how I like it. Please note that they would ask you what type of vodka you want so be prepared. As a first time drinker, I just get my martinis as it is—I’m not specific so want to give a heads up to that. If you don’t like it too strong communicate that because I did get an espresso martini and the vodka they gave me was STRONGG, but the second time it was suttle and super tasty. All in all it’s a to each its own. Secondly their food that I had was tasty and spicy. I had the rigatoni. My brother had the Cacoi e Pepe. His was not as saucy as I WOULD—emphasizing I, as I would like it to be and then he had little strips of chicken. Not sure how that works, if it comes with it to the side or if he ordered it, but that was something I noted.

Google
Absolutely loved this place, from the second we walked in amazing service and the vibes from the energy from the place was excellent. I wish I remember our waitress name but she was fantastic! The focaccia was amazing! My octopus was 10/10 and my daughter pasta was full of flavors I was lucky enough to finish it. Plus let’s not forget the salad with artichokes in it , that itself was 6 stars ! They have other places and you have to try it

Emily C.

Google
The food was so fresh and light. There was a touch of lemon zest in many dishes that gave it an extra layer and made it very summery. Was slightly disappointed that the grilled octopus appetizer was mostly salad with only some octopus bits on it— we expected the more octopus but it was still good. The chocolate torta was the best I’ve had at Italian restaurants in nyc so far— the light whipped cream and tangy lemon zest brought out the creaminess and thickness of the chocolate even more.

Rosemary's never disappoints!! I usually go to the one in the West Village but I was meeting my friend on the east side, so we went to their midtown east location instead. The decor and ambience is beautifully the same, including the gorgeous tile on the wall behind the bar. It's even on a corner like the one downtown. The service here was also on point, with a knowledgeable, friendly wait staff. We started with the Tuscan Kale salad. It had brussels sprouts, apples, parmegiano and turmeric dressing. It was very good. I usually order pasta, but decided to try their pizza instead. I had the Stinger, probably the best pizza ever: Soppressata with honey and mozzarella. I can't even describe the crust, except to say that it was soft, delectable chewy and divine . My friend had the rigatoni and ate every bite. She drank red wine and I had a Hugo Spritz (they make all kinds of really lovely spritzes. Right now, i'm digging the Hugo after discovering it in Milan last year. The Rosemary's version was equally as tasty). I can't say enough good things about Rosemary's, except that I cannot wait to go back and that you should go too.

Google
Got there earlier than our reservation, staff were friendly and super caring. We ordered chopped salad and mixed greens salad to start and rigatoni, cavatelli, steak, and meatballs. Liked them all

Fawaz A.

Google
Our order margarita pizza , cacio e Pepe pizza , arancini and pomodoro pasta with burrata , it’s very good, but the edge was burned cacio e Pepe pizza. It’s so salty. The pasta was great but little salty and the Arancini very good. The location : very good , they have outdoor seats The price : it’s little higher thank other .

Google
Although I have been to Rosemarys many times before (all locations - even Miami!) this review is to highlight a private event we held with them. From the moment we reached out to gather information, to the actual event itself, everyone was beyond helpful, organized, and easy to work with. We planned a welcome dinner for our wedding in the Gallery space and it was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The room was set up so nicely, the staff were attentive and helpful, and the food was phenomenal. Our guests were so happy with the evening and the dinner. They even accommodated very specific dietary restrictions with no issue. I would highly recommend using Rosemary’s for an event and hope that we can have another event there in the future!

Yelp
The beets along with the 3 course was divine! So glad we happened to see this gem and spotted by for dinner. Excellent service as well!

Yelp
Visiting Rosemary's was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made a great choice. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. The atmosphere was truly captivating, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that made us feel right at home. The decor and setting perfectly complemented the rich cultural heritage celebrated by the restaurant. The food was incredible, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to the heart of Hispanic America. Each dish told a story, making our dining experience not just a meal, but also a fascinating history lesson. The attention to detail in every dish showcased the restaurant's dedication to preserving and sharing the vibrant culinary traditions of Hispanic American culture. Don't miss out on this wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
Had dinner at Rosemary's last night... Ambiance is great! We sat outside and it was really beautiful. Service is also great and food came out at a good pace. Food itself was okay....the olives, potatoes, and asparagus were delicious. We also had 3 pasta dishes and none of them were very good. The rigatoni was SO SPICY I couldn't eat it. The ravioli and oriechette were marginally better but the portion size was quite small for the price. I might return but definitely won't get pasta again.

Yelp
Shady practices. The waiter misleadingly suggested "burrata" as an add on to focaccia but instead of being an add on, it was a separate dish for $19 (total rip off). Food was just okay. Nothing special. Would not return. Value for money isn't there.

Yelp
Rosemary's is a GEM. This is the perfect place for a date night. The Sicilian salad is massive and packed with lots of toppings, it is great for sharing. The stinger pizza was delicious with a thin crust and lots of pepperoni. The gemelli was perfectly pesto-ey and with the meatballs was the perfect bite. Service was attentive and even brought us champagne and dessert for my anniversary. The raspberry sorbet is the best way to finish off the meal!

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Making reservations was straightforward. They have Coke products. We also had a salad not really shown here. It was tasty but perhaps slightly too much dressing for my personal liking. Would definitely recommend and eat here again if I stay near here.

Yelp
A pleasant surprise for an impromptu lunch. Very busy " in" place. Tried the branzino and a salad with shrimp. Both were very tasty. We had to ask for bread and when basket was finished we weren't asked if we wanted more.

Yelp
I think this location is newer. We came here for a Mother's Day brunch and it was very nice. Decent size dining room with outdoor seating(weather permitting) as well as a smaller room in the back as well. There was a bar to wait for your table if you needed to as well. It was busy but we had reservations and were seated right away. The service was perfect here. It was a special brunch menu and I was with a picky group of eaters and they accommodated everything and our server(wish I had gotten her name hut she was amazing). The food was delicious and it all came out timely and together. I definitely need to come back to check out their "normal" menu as well.

Yelp
This place is a perfect gem. The atmosphere is elegant, the service is good, and the food is exceptional! This place has only been open for only a month and a half and off to a spectacular start. I got the "Steak Tagliata" which was AMAZING. The steak was cooked to perfection, the onions were so tasty. Perfect 10/10. They have a nice selection of wine (something for everyone). It is hard to get a 5 star review from me. This place made it look easy. I highly recommend this spot for a nice night out. You can eat here and keep your keto diet.

Yelp
I believe Rosemary's replaced dos caminos this past April. This is a great addition to the area. We ate outside and had the two course lunch prix fixe for $29 or $39 with a glass wine. Dessert is not included. The inside aesthetic is bright, airy with high ceilings, a good size bar, and floor to ceiling doors that are open to the outside. We had the Sicilian chopped salad. It had the perfect amount of dressing, lots of tricky bits like crispy chick peas, pitted green olives, radicchio, slivered almonds, one sun-dried tomato, quarter of an artichoke heart-lol, and shavings of ricotta salata. Yum. The entrees were light even though they sounded typically heavier. Orecchiette with sausage had a bit of heat and the ravioli was so fresh. The portion sizes were great for the price and the service by Denise was efficient, helpful and patient. We had the olive cake for dessert. It was the perfect size for two, it was moist and of course not sweet and topped with a blueberry sauce.

Yelp
The food is pretty good and it's relatively easy to get a table walking in. The pizza was definitely my favorite. The pasta seemed a little bit undercooked but was still fine. Something I didn't love was how cramped the tables were, we were at a table for 2 and we were essentially on a triple date with the people on both sides of us. The waiters also had a hard time getting our plates to and from the table because of how tight it was- it was easier for us to just hand the plates to him.

Yelp
A neighborhood gem! Food was flavorful, pasta portion was modest. Service was a bit slow, outdoor ambiance was pleasant. Will definitely return.

Yelp
I was in NYC last to last Saturday and had a great experience at Rosemary Restaurant. Running late on the review because life happens. We made a reservation using Resy, and since it's a new location for them, it wasn't too busy. We arrived a bit early and asked for a spot at the bar, which we got. We started with some cocktails, and they were nice. Later, we got our table at the patio, which was perfect for a beautiful evening. Our host was polite, and we ordered some potatoes and bread--both were nice. Later, we opted for the stinger pizza, and it was amazing. Our server, Rafael, was incredible. He was extremely polite and gave us a great experience. Overall, a perfect place to go. I would definitely say it is so important to have great servers. It's such a thankless job, and Rafael went above and beyond.

Yelp
love love love this!! the food was amazing and fresh, and the place has a very bright and sunlight atmosphere. You can see the fresh ingredients on their little garden on the roof. service was very kind and patient as well! Pictured are the pesto, chicken, and rigatoni dishes.

Yelp
Had such a great experience here! We came on a Wednesday and the weather was nice there was outdoor seating but we sat inside with the walls being open and we truly felt like we were in Europe. We got a bottle of rose to share and it was great! The asparagus and octopus were really good, we also got the stinger pizza which was perfectly cooked, the sunflower ravioli was a bit underwhelming and small portioned but the oriechette was perfectly Al Dente and had a lot of flavor. The best part of our dinner was Rafael our waiter who was the cutest kindest and funniest guy.

Yelp
I had lunch with a friend at Rosemary's Midtown. Our waitress Manuela was excellent. My friend was late but Manuela made sure I had a drink and even some bread to munch on while I waited. The service was great. Luis the manager was also very pleasant and professional. My friend had some concerns about making sure her pizza was hot and he really took care of her concerns. His attention to detail was outstanding. We will definitely go back. Also the menu is interesting and diverse and the ambiance is light and airy.

Yelp
Dining at Rosemary's was a culinary delight with each dish showcasing meticulous attention to flavor and presentation. The charcuterie board was delicious blend of delicate prosciutto, salami, and a selection of fine cheeses, perfectly complemented by honey and fresh greens. The herb-infused focaccia was an aromatic pleasure, with its crisp crust HERITAGE PORCHETTA and soft center, demonstrating the chef's skill in creating balanced and satisfying dishes. Rosemary's excels in transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary experiences, making every meal memorable. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, from the expertly and the exquisitely plated entrees. The truth is that I would gladly come back again.

Yelp
This location hasn't been open long, but it's already embodying everything you love from all the other locations. Although the menu is slightly different, the food is still exceptional. They have a massive outdoor space, so it's prefer for the summer.

Yelp
Everything about this place is top tier. Food, service and ambiance were all amazing. The margherita pizza & the sunflower pasta were so good.

Yelp
I am in NY for business and wanted to get a dinner alone in the city. The staff was beyond kind to me for noticing that I was dining alone, gave great recommendations on the food, and it all tasted delicious. The $39 deal for a sampler of their appetizers, a pasta, and dessert was a great deal and so delicious. Could not recommend enough.

Roger S.

Yelp
The food is good with a similar menu to the Italian restaurant a block away. But better prepared and service with a warm smile. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood and has been very well received already. It's a very comfortable, airy and bright restaurant. And they have pizzas.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for lunch for a friends birthday, and I must say the experience was wonderful! We had a a few cocktails the blood orange margarita and Limone collins were divine. The fooood was so good ! They have a great deal for a pre fixe lunch special, our server Gabriella was super sweet, Jenny our food runner was phenomenal! Went above and beyond to make sure that we were pleased with all the food and service, loved her! Patrick was also super great and charismatic Definitely will be back !

Yelp
I am so thrilled Rosemary's is finally open in their Midtown location! I live nearby, and their arrival feels like a breath of fresh air for the dining scene in the area. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, and I felt instantly transported to vacation in Italy. No details were spared, making the overall aesthetic perfect. The patio and windows that completely open up to the outside are such a nice touch. I can't wait for plenty of spring and summer nights here. Restrooms were also immaculately clean, checked routinely, and they even have changing tables, which is rare in the area. Fortunately, I made it just in time for happy hour from 4-6 where they're offering wine for $7, spritzes for $9 and beer for $6. The spritz was a nice take on an aperol spritz and very popular while I was there. Plus how perfect is the rosemary sprig at Rosemary's? They have a very nice selection of cocktails, wine, beer and mocktails, so everyone is sure to be pleased. One thing that is unique about the food options at this location is that they offer an all inclusive option for the table for $39/person for antipasti, pasta of your choice & dessert. This price is a steal, and I will definitely be ordering it next time. I appreciated that their menu has some of the favorites from the other Rosemary's locations while also having some new items specific to this location. I opted for the rigatoni and grilled asparagus side. The rigatoni is a little different from their other locations, which serve it with a creamier vodka sauce. This is an arrabbiata sauce, which is a bit chunkier, but I think I actually prefer it since it was not as heavy and was very fresh. The spice is minimal. It's a great pasta for spring. The noodles were perfectly al dente and complimented by the burrata. The grilled asparagus was also fantastic. I appreciated that they were thinner pieces and well cooked with a nice char. The crispy Parmesan on top added a nice saltiness. They also offer appetizers, salads, pizzas, and meat entrees. There are plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free pasta as well. Service was great and almost made me feel like I was at a home dinner party. I can't wait for many more dinners so close to home here in the future and looking forward to their future lunch/brunch service additions. It's the perfect spot for a post-work drink, date night, to catch up with a friend or even solo dining. Absolutely check out Rosemary's for a fantastic cocktail, happy hour & dinner in Midtown!

Yelp
Lovely ambiance. Attentive service. Wonderful food. Very good place for lunch with anyone you know. Very good food. Beautiful presentation. Not an uptight atmosphere.

Yelp
Recently opened on 3rd avenue, it was a real disappointment. The food is tasteless. Inedible. No flavor. Their wannabe Italian menu is very limited. There are no options. They have an outdoors terrace. Bad, bad, bad.

Delightful place! Cheerful staff & outstanding brunch. My first visit, but will not be my last. Good show!!

Yelp
As an avid restaurant goer I am shocked to see that this place has such good reviews... definitely suspicious. First off the hostess and her assistant were so rude, I was 5 minutes early to my reservation and they sounded annoyed saying that I'm early and I'm going to have to wait. I was fine with that until they quite literally pushed me out of the way telling me to go outside or to the bar even though the restaurant was half full. Super rude and weird experience. The food was awful, pretty much a terrible rip off of La Pecora Bianca. I only gave an extra star because the waiter was nice. If you want good pizza with a nice vibe in midtown I would suggest Sofias Winebar. Don't see this place staying open for long.

Sydney N.

Yelp
The service was horrible. It was a 3 hour dinner because our waitress never checked in on us, a friend ordered a 2nd drink and they brought it out 25 minutes later, after the mains were eaten. But the cherry on top is that my friend ordered a margarita, and asked for casa migos. When they said they didn't have casa migos, they have casa dragones (AS IF THAT WAS COMPARABLE) and she said ok. We got the bill and they charged $35 for said margarita (the same amount as our steak). I said that they really need to let people know the price differential if they're going to charge that amount for one drink, and they would not bend.

Mike H.

Yelp
Wow, what a great new location for Rosemary's in midtown. Good outdoor seating when it warms up. Interior is beautiful, cozy, and has a nice feel. We had the mussels, grilled asparagus, and prosciutto to start. Then the steak tagliata, and orechiette for the main. All were excellent, portions good, and presentation very nice. The staff was attentive and enjoyable. Wine selection is very good, and an after dinner prosecco is recommended. A great and vibrant location, and I look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
What a beautiful space, delicious food & drinks, and exceptional service. Everyone was so kind and helpful with helping me and my guest navigate the menu. Outstanding experience!

M. D.

Yelp
I know they just opened but service was atrocious. We had to wait at the bar about 15 min past our reservation time. After we sat, every table around us was complaining as it took about 25 min for our waitress to come speak with any of us. Luckily we had drinks already from the bar, but it took us 90 min into the meal to even get water. Our waitress didn't know how to open a bottle of wine (??) luckily we were able to flag down a manager to intervene. Food is ok, love the seasonal approach - but the strength of the menu is in the apps and vegetables, while the pastas fall pretty flat on both inventiveness and taste. The pesto pasta literally tastes like it was made with Costco pesto. Interior is def gorgeous. Tables are too close to each other though. We will see if the service issues are worked out with time, but for now, if I go back, I will stick with wine and apps. I would also be open to trying the pizza.

T R.

Yelp
The hostess was nice but rushed me out to my table outside which I didn't appreciate as I have medical issues. Was disappointed with the lack of options on the menu. Barely had any Italian classic dishes, there was only one chicken dish, barely any pasta dishes. Ended up just getting a pizza and left to eat at another restaurant.

Basia Z.

Yelp
The food was fresh and delicous. We had foccacia, salads and pasta. Rigatoni, ravioli and orrechette. But the service was terrible. It took forever to get drinks, and the waiter had to come back and confirm the 3 drinks we ordered. Our mains came out at different times. To compensate for all our delays, they gave us a free bowl of potatoes. We were having pasta! Why give us potatoes? Will go back downtown.....

Carly P.

Yelp
Wow! My mom and I had lunch here today and we were blown away. The lunch prix fix is incredible!! Best gluten free pasta I've ever had. Chopped salad was delish too. Will definitely be back.

Lauren R.

Yelp
Loved every moment of dining at Rosemary's newest location. Design and ambiance is stunning, food is delicious and service is warm and hospitable. Can't wait to go back soon!

Laura D.

Yelp
I could not have asked for a better dining experience at Rosemary's Midtown. I am HUGE fan of the West Village location and they did not disappoint. The interiors are stunning, but the food is stellar. The star of the show is their PASTA. My absolute fav is the Spring Pea Gemelli. It was on their menu last year and this version is even better. The service was warm and prompt (much appreciated!) even thought they were definitely busy as it was their opening night. Can't wait to host my birthday party in their private dining room!
