The 13 Best Pizza Places in Palm Beach County including Palm Beach, Downtown West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and Delray Beach | Eater Miami

"Rose’s Daughter, in the Pineapple Grove district of Delray Beach, is reminiscent of a Greenwich Village restaurant. Chef and owner Suzanne Perrotto, who opened this local favorite in 2019, crafted a menu that reflects her rich family heritage in the restaurant industry and her wide-ranging culinary expertise across the United States. The selection of Neapolitan-style pizzas ranges from the classic Margherita to inventive creations such as the Pineapple Grove pizza, a combination of fontina, honey ham, Cipollini onions, Calabrian chili, and a unique pineapple sweet and sour sauce." - J. Fantastic Italian fare in a warm atmosphere in Pineapple Grove. Lots of outdoor seating in both the front & rear of the restaurant. They do not take reservations so plan accordingly.

One of the best restaurants we have recently visited. Stopped by with the family with reservations as soon as the restaurant opened for dinner and we were seated promptly near the back of the restaurant, which provided some excellent privacy for our group. Service was fantastic and our food came out very quickly. I cannot recommend the chicken piccata enough. One of the best chicken piccata dishes I've ever had. In addition, the pineapple grove Hawaiian pizza and Margherita pizza were incredible. The sauce and crust were fantastic! Also highly recommend the calamari and zucchini fritti antipasto! If you're in the Delray area, this restaurant is a must! Updated 8/1/25: Came back and we were once again impressed by the incredible food, drinks and service here. Our server Shannan was the best and made sure we had a fantastic dinner. The charcuterie board, arancini and chicken piccata were phenomenal!

Google
This place is great. Our server Andrew was wonderful. We wanted to try everything on the menu. We ordered the wood fired shrimp and the Margherita pizza as appetizers. Both were very tasty. As entrees we had the butternut squash agnolotti, the Branzino and the short rib pappardelle. All of them were so good!! It was so worth the drive. We will definitely be going back.

Google
Loves the food. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The homemade bread the scampi pasta and the Zeppole to die for. The best dessert choice by far. Happy hour is until 6pm and it’s 20% off dishes. The Hawaiian pizza was wonderful.

Google
New favorite Delray Restaurant for us! We had the butternut squash agnolotti, Veil Chop Parmigiana, the beef “tagliata”, and the Zeppole for dessert which was amazing! Recommend all of the above. The drinks were also very good!

Google
We had a Hawaiian pizza. A bit too sweet. The spicy shrimp pasta was great. The appetizer bread was not anything special. The shrimp appetizer was good. The bar tender was really sweet and a super hard worker.

Google
Overall I had a good experience here. The food was good, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it. The best dish was the mushroom and prosciutto pizza. The service could have been better and seemed disorganized, but didn’t impact the quality of the night. Expect to wait a while with your name being called out from the sidewalk.

Google
10/10! I would leave a review every time I come if it was practical. I’ve tried a few dishes and I love how fresh, flavorful and authentic the food is. The wings are amazing, the chicken parm is huge and the alla vodka is my go to. Service and ambiance are superb and happy hour is a plus. Must come for Italian food!

Google
One of our favorite modern Italian restaurants in Delray Beach! It’s loved my many, so be sure to get a reservation when “in season”. Whether we sit inside or out, we always have a fabulous time with perfect service. The cocktails are great and the menu does not fall short. We never leave without ordering their Spinach Dumplings and a few favorite homemade pasta dishes. Love bringing Florida newbies to this awesome spot! A great, somewhat off the beaten path, location for a hidden night out on the Ave.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. We tried 4 different cocktails over the course of dinner and each was delicious in a completely different way. Our favorite was Rose .... Something. But you'll see it. Get that. Wood fired bread - chewy, crispy wood fired pizza dough with a side of ricotta spread is better than you'd imagine. And you'd think that would be pretty darn good already. Ask for extra ricotta. Butternut squash agnoletti was creamy, crunchy, chewy, tangy. Balanced and delicious in every aspect. While you'd think the flourless chocolate torte would be typical, it is honestly indescribable. The layers of flavor all work and burst one after the other. One of the best desserts we've eaten anywhere. Service was friendly, attentive and relaxed.

Yelp
From out of town and heard good things. This place is incredible. Lindsey was our server who was exceptional!!! Wish I took more pics of the food but it was too delicious to pause. Got the mussels, wood fire shrimp, Cesar salad, burrata, and wagyu. Mussels were incredible the only feedback is to serve more bread with them. And could have skipped on the Cesar- nothing special. Sat out front on their cute vibey patio with fairy lighting and soft music. Overall place was very impressive

Yelp
I went with my in laws who are Italian and was hesitant because of their critiques on most Italian restaurants we visit. However, they were very pleased with the food! We ordered House Bread, Veal Meatballs, Butternut Squash Raviolis and Bolognese all of which we'd come back and order again! AMAZING flavor in every dish. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is due to the waitress. Although she was attentive, she was very rude and made us feel like we were bothering her when asking questions about the menu. There are a lot of things on the menu that most people wouldn't understand what it is/means so when working at a place like this you need to be prepared for questions! This experience would've been over 5 stars if we had someone else possibly helping us. Still would come back and visit next time in delray!

Yelp
This is a beautiful little whole in the wall. I love how it's not directly on Atlantic Ave but the quality of the food is great, flavours all all there but it did find myself drinking a lot of water and seems to result from the food being very salty. I enjoyed both dishes just ordered and felt great after but my only complaint from This establishment is the food was a bit salty but everything was amazing !

Yelp
WOW. EXCEPTIONAL. Truly a gem in Delray. The most fantastic Italian food I have ever had!! I tried the pineapple pizza, bolognese, burrata, calamari, and chicken parm--every single dish was to die for. I ate that entire pizza because I just could not get enough. If you are coming to Delray, or are a local, this is an absolute MUST. The restaurant is so adorable with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, good staff, and overall amazing vibes.

Yelp
We were so excited to be able to get a table as soon as we arrived though it was early about 5:40pm. It was happy hour as they called it so 20% off everything. Started with drinks that were made very well. Ordered the house bread which was yummy but seemed like it should have been free. We were seated in the back area in a lovely 4top booth, a perfect spot. Our waitress was Anna who did a wonderful job. The veal chop was the star of the show, enormous and so tasty. I had the branzino that had a delicious sauce with shell pasta, very good. Lobster ravioli was good but only three ravioli, accompanied by three enormous scallops perfectly cooked, also very good . The shared tiramisu and cinnamon ice cream were both delicious. A wonderful dinner.

Yelp
This place was fantastic and we loved our dinner. The restaurant is very small but we were able to grab a spot at the bar. Our bartender took great care of us. We started with a few cocktails from their cocktail list, which were great. They have quite an impressive liquor selection with a fun cocktail list. We ordered the mussels and calamari to start and they were both delicious. The calamari also had fried zucchini as well as two sauces. The mussels were great and I loved the fresh bread that came with it. For my dinner, I ordered the Shrimp and Mushroom Linguine and my colleague ordered the Mushroom Pappardelle. We both loved our choices and the portions were perfect. Everything was cooked perfectly in their open kitchen and brought to us fresh and hot. We had no complaints during our visit and will definitely come back! I would love to sit at the bar looking into the open kitchen!

Yelp
We love Rosa's daughter. It's not very often that we go back to the same restaurant twice, but this is one of those we continue to go back to!

Yelp
Fantastic Italian food. We arrived at 5pm when the patio opened and were able to snag a seat, which is lucky as the place is very popular, with good reason. Service was superb, and the food impressed my party of 6. I opted for the short rib papardelle which combined fresh made pasta with truffle oil, fresh peas, and nice short rib. My best meal all week in Florida, which is saying something. We picked three of the deserts to share and they disappeared quickly. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu, and helped our party to really enjoy the experience. Rose's Daughter's patio provided a nice cool evening ambiance for our party.

Yelp
If you're looking for fancy, trendy and upscale Italian in a small place, this is it. My friend mentioned that there was a restaurant that he wanted to try and so we came to the "Pineapple Grove district" and actually found a legal parking spot around the corner. Rose's Daughter does not do reservations (when you're super busy, why?) so expect a wait if you're here during the super busy times. We arrived just before 6pm on a Saturday and managed to get the last table outside before the queue started. Warmly welcomed, we ordered a first round of drinks and some appetizers. My friend's "White Negroni" was strong and tasty, my local beer was cold and refreshing. The "lamb meatballs" had two with a rich sauce and a slice of roasted bread (almost a naan but not quite). The beef carpaccio was fabulous with arugula and a delicious dressing. Both were perfectly plated as you can see. For mains, my friend chose the veal chop which arrived massive. Well pounded out and looking like a "tomahawk." It's the dish to impress. It was served with a good portion of linguine on the side. I had the roasted mushroom pappardelle and it was fantastic. Plenty of black truffle and pecorino cream. Perfect. Rose's Daughter is not inexpensive and it's fabulous. It is $$$ to $$$$ and being a DDD restaurant, it's going to be packed every time. Guy Fieri (and my friend) got this one right. [Review 20158 overall - 1727 in Florida - 1134 of 2023.]

Yelp
A place worthy of another visit. We had a great experience here on an early Tuesday evening. We were seated promptly at the back courtyard. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. We had a meatball and a burrata appetizer (s) as well as extra bread. The bread is Focaccia style not a traditional Italian loaf. I ordered the Bronzino served with a creamy sauce and broccolini. The fish and pasta were excellent however the sauce was good not great. Table mates had mussels in a tomato sauce which was delicious and the other dish was a veal chop parm. That was not only very tasty but a huge portion of veal. I will order that for myself next visit. No room for dessert unfortunately maybe next time. I'm an Apple/main dish person anyway. Food was great , service great , seating area was great. Worth the trip to have a well prepared meal.

Yelp
Finally went here last night and the food was beyond expectations. Every single thing was excellent. Staff could not have been nicer. Small place with lots of tables. Great fun atmosphere. Will absolutely be going back!

Yelp
What a disappointment! Horrible service, if I could give zero stars I would. I don't know why our server disliked us so much but her disinterest and disgust of our table of 10 showed. She refused up front to do 5 separate checks. Ok if that's a company policy but there is no reason to be rude to us the entire night. I knew from the beginning I didn't want to spend much more time than needed there. So I only ordered a pizza even though I wanted an appetizer and dessert. The Prosecco I ordered was flat. Clearly no bubbles. I ordered a margarita pizza. It was good but cold. And when I asked for red pepper flakes it took a very long time making my cold pizza colder. My friend ordered the vegetarian dinner option. I looked like slop and she said it was tasteless. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Yelp
I made an account just to leave a review on this place . Mannnnn first off let's start with the food . Onnnnn point . Me, my husband and kids took our parents out to eat and just by the word of mouth to suggestions and ate here ! My gawd what a good place . HIGHLYYY RECOMMENDEDDD! Also , the service there is unbelievable. Young man Derek helped my grandmother because she couldn't walk out to the car and went beyond . Stopped what he was doing despite of how busy he was took the time out to help . Really thoughtful . Thanks Rose daughters !

Yelp
Danngg this place was amazing!!! The food was fresh and authentic, maple bourbon cocktail was tasty and different, and did I mention the food AND service were on-point?!? Dined at the back bar is like an enclosed outdoor-ish patio (very cute) and was serviced by a handsome bartender who was attentive, provided great recommendations of food and of DelRay in general. Thank you ya'll!

Yelp
I gotta say, this place is very good. I'm pretty skeptical about going to new restaurant's but I'd say Rose's Daughter really changed my mind. Very good food and service!
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Great food, very good service, and the restaurant has a really nice ambiance. I had the Carpaccio and an amazing pasta dish. Both were excellent. We can't wait to get back there.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Most things were good, but people from the street would wander onto the patio, drink alcoholic drinks, eat food left behind from previous patrons. One hobo interrupted my pleasant date by asking for money. Waiters wanted to give me grief for getting angry about their poor performance . Then as we were leaving the hobo returned to beg again. I recommend you avoid this nasty place. BTW, the restroom had passed all over the floor.

Yelp
A must-do on any visit to Delray Beach. Always phenomenal food. Outdoor seating is great. Indoor has the feeling you are in the kitchen toward the front, or part of a great local scene in the far back. Try the Short Rib Pappardelle and you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Food and drinks are delicious! Looks small from the initial walk in but there's a back seating area as well. Ambiance in all three dining sections is very nice, perfect for a date night. Service is quick and friendly making this a great local weeknight favorite!
google avatar

Mitchell G.

Yelp
Wow, this is the best gluten free restaurant I have ever been to, and not everything is gluten free! The GF pizza crust was better than I remember regular pizza crust being and the Chicken Piccata was tender and creamy on top of Broccoli. To top it off, they had GF Tiramisu, which was to die for! We'll be back.

Yelp
Very nice small Italian restaurant, service was excellent and I really enjoyed the food, will be returning.

Yelp
Came here for the first time... It was packed solid but we found a great seat at the front bar. Lauren and Sam were a dynamic duo! Attentive, full of positive energy and guided us through one of the best food experiences we have had in Delray Beach after living here for 8 years. Brussels sprouts and the mushroom prosciutto pizza for Antipasti, and we shared shrimp scampi and the sausage & broccolini pastas for entrees. All based on Lauren's recommendations. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and made with love and integrity. I would give more details, but I think it would be better for anyone reading this to experience it personally. Just wow all around! Thank you Roses Daughter, and Lauren for an outstanding evening. We will most definitely be back! Save is a spot at the bar!

Yelp
Rose's Daughter is an absolute delight, and it's easy to see why this place has earned its reputation. The service at Rose's Daughter is simply outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. I was there with a group of girls for dinner before seeing the Barbie movie so we wanted to get out drinks in their pink copper cup and they accommodated our special request which made us feel special. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks. The drinks menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of options to please any palate. Personally, I had the spicy passionfruit margarita and each sip was a delight. Speaking of which, the burrata salad was very good. The creamy burrata cheese paired beautifully with fresh and flavorful vegetables, creating a balanced and satisfying dish. Beyond the food and drinks, I must mention the adorable vintage decor. The ambiance is charming and inviting. The attention to detail in the decor adds to the overall experience, making you feel like you've stepped back in time. Whether you're looking for a lovely spot for a date night, a cozy gathering with friends, or a solo treat-yourself evening, Rose's Daughter has got you covered.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this restaurant. I am new to the area and moved to Delray Beach this past August. Rose's Daughter is by far the best restaurant I have tried in the Boca / Delray area. I adore the ambiance with the dim lighting and large patio areas in the front and the back. The food is to die for. I cannot recommend the bolognese enough. I am an Italian food and pasta connoisseur and this place is top notch. I love the bread the pizza comes on it is absolutely delicious and the pizza is always cooked perfectly. I love how they put garlic and lots of crispy basil on the margarita pizza. My favorite cocktail is the book warm. They literally put nerds candy on the rim and it looks so cute! The drinks are strong and they use nice liquor and don't cheap out on anything which is much appreciated. Every time I come the staff is so polite and even though it's a busy restaurant that doesn't accept reservations, they do such a good job at seating everyone in a timely manner. I have recommended this restaurant to many of my friends and they all say it lives up to the hype and have become obsessed with it as well. Just writing this review my mouth is watering and I want to go back ASAP!

Yelp
I'm afraid to review this place because it may make it harder for me to get in. Amazing. Amazing! From the staff to the atmosphere to the food... all stellar. My favorite item is the bolognese, that's so good I have a hard time ordering anything else.

Elisa H.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots. Love coming here to celebrate anything. Food is beyond delicious and the service is perfect. Love it also because it a cozy space with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Was looking forward to dining here after checking their website to confirm when open. Was disappointed to see they were closed when we got to the door. Would recommend checking their social media or calling in advance to make sure they are open before venturing towards the restaurant, since it seems they don't post closures on their website.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service were outstanding. Nice ambience. I'll definitely come back to this restaurant.

Yelp
After a long hiatus (due to relocation), I finally found my way back to Rose's Daughter and the food was great as usual. They don't take reservations so I like to get there early. I decided to start with the beef carpaccio; it had an abundance of toppings and though I prefer my carpaccio to be on the simpler side, I could appreciate their twist on it with the addition of the mushrooms. However, it is the pasta here that has my heart. The short rib pappardelle and the mushroom strozzapreti never fails. The pasta dishes are flavorful and the pasta is always cooked to perfection. In the past I've also had the lamb meatballs, seared scallop pappardelle, jumbo shrimp fra diavolo and smoked duck linguini and I haven't been disappointed once. I highly recommend if you're looking for great ambiance and flavorful food. Perfect for a date night!

Yelp
Loved the Pantry and decided to try Rose's. Service was rushed and pizza, salad came out together and drinks 5 minutes later. When asked why salad wasn't first she said 'oh i thought you said you wanted it together'. We would have never said that and she didn't ask. Margherita Pizza - the dough was wet all around with soup developing in the center of plate. bland sauce. Burnt crust with strange texture. Caesar - was great and the same as far as I can tell from sister restaurant across the street, Brule Bistro. We weren't full so we ordered the Veal Meatballs - were fine but not mind blowing. Overall I think we were there for 30 min to dine and then sat there for 5 min to finish our drinks. The design and layout of restaurant was great. The pizza was not. Would have expected a more charming experience.

Nancy I.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Gluten free options, (pasta, bread) were amazing! Service was awesome! Cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
We always try and hit a Triple D restaurant when we travel and Rose's Daughter was on the list while in Florida. The service was great and the food was amazing. We were going to try the short rib pasta but we talked with our waitress and since we like seafood she pointed us towards the Branzoni (sea bass). It was so good. I would definitely recommend Rose's Daughter. Just get there early because parking can be difficult.

Chris A.

Yelp
So I will start out this by saying I have a few restaurants that me and my wife frequent that when you go there you know they're gonna be good no matter white roses daughters was one of them are experience last night was not the typical where are used to there The food was delicious. However, they have the rudest servers at this restaurant and it never used to be like that I don't know what it is if you hate your job serving in a restaurant, just quit don't put other peoples experience in jeopardy. getting past the bad weight staff both me and my wife use the bathrooms which resembled a Mexican prison. The water in the women's sink was stagnant and overflowing so you couldn't even wash your hands. The men's room was horrendous now I know this place opens at 4 o'clock. We were there for 5:30 at dinner, which leads me to believe they never were clean from the previous day. Unacceptable.
google avatar

Yelp
The waiter was a true Italian French gentleman!! The food - butternut squash Angoli mushroom arancini eggplant lasagna short rib paperdelle all outstanding and more! The cannoli was a perfect little ending. You won't be disappointed !'

Yelp
Omgggg this place is great! Maybe I hit it on a good night but I loved everything about it. It was a busy night but we were still able to get a nice table. The server was pleasant and tentative. We got a pizza and chicken parm. it was so good! The dough was perfect and the sauces were so to die for. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
From the moment we walked through the door the service was superb and then to a complete the light at dinner was perhaps the best dinner we've had in years the spinach dumplings, Bolognese pappardelle our pasta was perfect. The wait staff works so well together from chief to customer immediately through a food handler our dinner was not sitting under heat lamps will certainly tell my friends of this restaurant and hopefully we're in the area again to enjoy Rose's Daughters Restaurant
google avatar

Rick K.

Yelp
Sorry, I don't agree with the majority on this one. Four meals, four misses. Beyond mediocre. Awful "homemade" pasta dish - angel hair with clams - soupy, skimpy with little flavor. Pizza was doughy and overwhelmed with arugula, with little mushrooms or prosciutto. Chicken parm was tasteless and came to the table less than warm. Fourth pasta dish was bland. Lousy drinks. Even with 20% early special, not cheap, especially for the quality, or lack thereof. I am surprised at the general reception to this restaurant. Won't be back, to say the least!

Yelp
We hadn't intended to visit the space that was Rose's Daughter as we originally planned to go to another spot for my birthday celebration that we found out was closed. However, upon realizing that the back patio from the alleyway we were on was open and sounded lively, we pivoted to the back entrance. That pivot was a great decision as we enjoyed a wonderful few hours knocking back cocktails, dining on some food, and enjoying ourselves immensely. As we entered, we saw there were some tables available that should be able to accommodate the 12 of us. When I reached the front of the restaurant at the greeting desk, I asked one of the servers if I could obtain a table for a large party. That server summoned the manager, and when I said I needed a party for 12 people and had no reservation (this was around 8:30 PM, mind you), she said, "Let me see what I can do. I think we can accommodate." And to my surprise and pleasure, she and her staff brought some tables together that we saw on the back patio and seated us within a few minutes. From there, it was nothing but great times. The Valerie Rosella -- comprising Gin Lane 1751 'Victoria Pink Gin,' St. Germain, Fresh Lime, and Rose -- was fabulous. We loved the walls painted with various artistic imagery and portraits, as we enjoyed items like lamb meatballs and other assorted pasta dishes. The espresso martini went so well with the gluten-free triple chocolate mousse cake, as was the tiramisu that my wife ordered. The server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. It was boisterous and fun, and we certainly will return to try more items on the menu. Rose's Daughter was an excellent experience for all of us.

Yelp
Have wanted to try this place for quite some time but their policy of not taking reservations has been a long standing turnoff. Finally one Sunday after not eating all day I found a bud to join me for an early dinner. We got there at 5:20 pm and the place was already crowded (although the back outside room did not have any diners). The place has a cool vibe to it and the kitchen is an open kitchen by the front. Service was very good. So ... in any event about the food. Had a burrata which was ok. It was large but lacking in taste/flavor. We also had a great cauliflower. As a lover of chicken parm then went with that and the piece of chicken was large, really large. The breading which kind of reminded me of a Progresso type was ok and the chicken was cooked through and through but maintained some moisture. I found though that the chicken parm also had little flavor and it was served with linguine. We also had some of the largest broccolini that you can find but it too was ok (I prefer the thin stalk kind). Overall I would give this restaurant a 3.5 out of 5. It doesn't deserve a 3 and it doesn't deserve a 4. With that said I did enjoy the restaurant and would come here again but without elevated expectations.

Yelp
Excellent food and wonderful service. The ambience is so so and the chairs very uncomfortable.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves five stars... I don't know why people are being so sassy. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but the bartender at the bar was phenomenal. He kept his composure when it was slammed The entire time. The food came out ridiculously quickly, and it was super good. Shout out to Jessica, the server, who, even though there was a full house handled our table quickly and nicely. The chicken Parm was amazing. Definitely would recommend that because the portions are great and the Bolognese really hit the spot.

Yelp
It's so good we love it here and always come in when we're in town!! The branzino pasta is awesome

Yelp
Excellent food. Local Delray vibe. But head to the back bar and dine in there for the complete experience. Bartender Nolan showcases exceptional skills preparing cocktails worthy of a 5 star resort. Don't miss this hidden gem in Pineapple Grove.

Yelp
EXCELLENT! This is my new best restaurant in Delray Beach and a must to go guys! Very upbeat atmosphere and great service as well. The menu is terrific and the options well balanced from pasta to pizzas, meats and more. I had the best bolognese pasta of my life. This plate was an explosion of delicious flavors over pappardelle pasta with a creamy sauce seasoned with spices and ricotta on top. My wife had a shrimp pizza that was incredible as well. I like also to give a shout out to the manager "Susanne" that is the Wonder Woman of the place. She was managing a crazy busy venue tonight and making sure we all got our tables on time while helping her staff with the tables etc.., incredible lady! UPDATE: Was able to go back with the entire troop for New Year's Eve dinner and was even better than first time! Everyone went crazy with the Shrimp Fra Diavolo pasta, Frutti di Mare pasta and the Short Rib Pappardelle! This chef knows what he is doing let me tellya.

I have to say : Excellent!!!! I am Italian who lived in NJ for 30 years .. I was told pizza in FL is questionable : WRONG! The pizza in this restaurant is fantastic!! Also please have a Negroni del Sol and tell me how much better is with tequila !!!

Yelp
I amazing meal! Everything I was looking for! Do not skip the cannoli! Service was good considering how busy they were. Ambiance was upbeat and fun.
