Local’s Guide to Delray Beach
Opal Grand Resort
Resort hotel · Delray Beach
For those wanting to wake up to an ocean view, the Opal Grand Resort is your 4-star respite. Located across the street from the beach and on Atlantic Avenue, the town’s main thoroughfare, this hotel will put you in the center of it all. Not to be missed is their brand new rooftop bar & lounge, one of its kind in Delray Beach.
The Ray Hotel Delray Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton
Hotel · Delray Beach
Those seeking more contemporary accommodations will find The Ray to their liking. This new hotel in downtown Delray is about a mile from the ocean, but is steps from dining, shopping, and art galleries. It features both a Japanese & Italian restaurant, as well as a rooftop pool.

The Seagate Hotel & Spa
Hotel · Delray Beach
Perhaps the most luxurious accommodations in town, the Seagate offers 4-star experiences, including a spa & private beach club. While the hotel itself is a few blocks from the ocean, their nearby club offers private dining & lounging directly on the beach. Don’t miss the hotel’s wellness offerings, including beach yoga. Namaste!
Atlantic Dunes Park
Park · Delray Beach
Obviously the beaches are the highlight in town! There are many access points to choose from, but Atlantic Dunes Park is one of my favorites. It is slightly South of the center of town and has its own parking lots. There are restrooms available as well as a covered pavilion for some shade. This family-friendly, lifeguard-monitored beach is perfect for a day in the sun!
The Pantry at Roses Daughter
Bakery · Delray Beach
This new sister cafe to favorite Rose’s Daughter is a daytime haven for breakfast & lunch. Don’t miss the freshly made pastries like the homemade pop tart or the yummy sandwiches served on focaccia.
Rose's Daughter
Restaurant · Delray Beach
Fantastic Italian fare in a warm atmosphere in Pineapple Grove. Lots of outdoor seating in both the front & rear of the restaurant. They do not take reservations so plan accordingly.
