We went to Rosetta on a sudden whim, and it looks more beautiful in-person than photos could ever capture. This Miami-based, social media-adored venue captured our hearts as well. Nestled in the same star-studded Buckhead Plaza occupied by some of Atlanta’s Crown Jewels (Delbar, The Garden Room, Atlas, etc.), Rosetta faces a lush courtyard vibrant with flowers, people (perhaps doing yoga on Saturday mornings), and sunshine.
The bakery is really quite expensive, and unfortunately, neither the taste nor size of the baked goods justifies the tall prices. But it is worth giving this experience at least one try, as seen by how many people are always populating this venue - and rightfully so. The unparalleled ambiance of this crowded bakery comes from it being gilded in shiny decor, shrouded in warm lighting, filled with sleek - yet comfortable - furniture, and surrounded by glass-paned goodie displays and views into the bakery itself.
After trying the Fruit Tart, Filled Croissant, and Millefoglie, they seem to use the same delicious, not-too-sweet, egg-based creme, so some variety in the fillings would have been more intriguing. Nonetheless, this creme itself was spectacular in the (decently priced) croissant! The Margherita was also delicious and hearty. Next time, we plan to try alternative items (maybe lemon- or chocolate-based) to test out other flavor profiles among their bakery selection. Would recommend paying this place a quick visit if in the area!
