Rosetta Bakery - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"This bakery chain from Miami has its first location in Atlanta (specifically Buckhead). Their menu has sandwiches, pizza, pastries, and cakes, but they specialize in everything focaccia, and that's what we're most excited to try. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Juli Horsford

Originating in Miami in 2015 and opening its first Atlanta outpost, the shop also serves fresh focaccia, pizzas, sandwiches and cakes in addition to its pastry lineup." - Henna Bakshi

This is my third time in this place. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Perfect for relaxing, studying, or catching up with friends. The staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure their customers are taken care of specially Alexis the barista in a little corner who is always welcoming and happy made me latte that is delicious, strong and very aromatic flavors she's easy going and giving me some recommendations of the perfect pair for latte! Overall, Rosetta Cafe delivers on both quality and experience. It's the kind of spot you'll want to return to again and again for great coffee and a warm, inviting vibe. Recommend and happy to come back!

A well-made and nicely balanced cappuccino, one of the best I’ve had in a while. The pastries are excellent too; the one I tried was perfectly done and made me feel like I was in Europe. The patio looks lovely and would be a great spot to sit on a sunny day. Since it was rainy, I sat inside instead. The indoor seating is open and comfortable, though I wasn’t quite sure about the lighting. It felt a bit too bright to fully relax. Overall, a wonderful café experience

The best Rosetta experience I usually visit Rosetta in Miami and have been to several of their locations, but today at the Atlanta location I received, without a doubt, the best service ever. We came in craving a simple baguette with mortadella something not even on the menu and the team went above and beyond to make it for us. They baked the bread fresh, sliced the mortadella, and prepared four full baguette sandwiches with genuine care and attention. The service was exceptional, warm, and truly rare to find nowadays. A special thank you to Andrew and Linsey, who took amazing care of us. Thanks to them, this Rosetta has become my favorite location. Highly recommended. 100%

We first fell in love with Rosetta Bakery in Miami, where the fresh pastries, authentic Italian sandwiches, and perfectly brewed coffee always made it worth the visit. Recently, we were delighted to discover that Atlanta now has its own Rosetta Bakery location. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the same warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the Miami locations so special. The décor is modern yet cozy, and you can see the care and craftsmanship that goes into every item behind the counter. The selection in Atlanta is very good — while it may not have the full variety of the flagship Miami stores, it comes very close, offering plenty of tempting choices. The sandwiches are made with fresh, quality ingredients and have that unmistakable Italian flavor profile Rosetta is known for. Their pastries and sweets are just as inviting — from flaky croissants to rich, indulgent treats — all paired perfectly with their smooth, flavorful coffee. If you appreciate a place where you can relax with a great cup of coffee, enjoy a freshly made sandwich, or treat yourself to something sweet, Rosetta Bakery is a brand worth visiting. We’re happy to see it in Atlanta and will definitely be back often.

Rosetta Bakery has been such a great experience every time I visit! Alexis is the perfect barista, she makes the most amazing cappuccino, just the way I like it. This is my fourth time coming here, and her friendly attitude and attention to detail always make my day. I really hope she becomes a permanent barista at this location

I was a little skeptical at first since the pastries are priced higher than other bakeries in the area, but they turned out to be really good. The staff is nice and helpful too. This spot might be dangerous for me now that I’ve found a place for delicious pastries, and I’m already planning to try their savory options as well.

Went to Rosetta Bakery in Buckhead which recently opened (about 2 months ago). The environment is sleek, modern, clean, but not much seating inside. The food selection is on one side and beverage on the other. We were greeted as soon as we went in and a gentleman helped us and explained the dessert options within 5 minutes. We selected 3 desserts (Nutella croissant, a small cake, and a pistachio chocolate tart) and matcha lattes. I felt the price was a bit high for the dessert portion compared to other places I go to in Atlanta but the beverage prices were about the same as other places. This is in Buckhead so I wasn't surprised by the portion to price ratio. The Nutella croissant was as expected: flaky and the filling tasted exactly like Nutella. The cake was a bit dry and not rich in chocolate flavor as hoped. Honestly wouldn't get it again. The best of the three was the pistachio chocolate tart. It was the perfect combination of sweet and nutty. The shell was crispy as hoped and the filling was smooth in texture. Truly amazing dessert. The item that was a pleasant surprise was the hot matcha lattes! The latte was creamy, frothy, and sweet! I'm not a huge matcha fan but this latte made me one! A must try! The store didn't have many places to sit for more than 2-3 people. We didn't have a hard time finding seats but I would imagine it would be during a busy weekend or evening time. A heads up, a lot of the menu items online aren't onsite in the bakery so call ahead if you are expecting to try something based on their online menu. Don't want to be disappointed or angry if it isn't in-house. I was informed by the gentleman that helped serve us that since they recently opened, they plan on rotating desserts and food options as they can't have all options available so also be prepared for options to change. He did say that you could call ahead and ask or order whole cakes in advance if desired. They do not have cake slices on site mostly deli-like sandwiches, pizza, croissants, tarts, mini cakes, and beverages. The bakery also doesn't use real plates and forks. They use wooden recyclables (environment friendly). You do have the option to have your coffee beverage in a to-go cup or if eating in-house in real cups.

Yelp
This bakery is truly a gem. The staff was very kind as they explained the desserts to us, and the barista was lovely. We enjoyed lattes and filled croissants. The pistachio croissant was literally to die for. What I appreciated is that they actually fill them up! You are getting what you pay for! I loved to look through the window and watch the pastries being made. There was ample seating on the patio and a couple tables inside. I will definitely be back. Grateful to have found this spot!

Yelp
Lots of pastries to choose from, I literally wanted one of everything. We walked past before dinner and it was packed. The staff were super friendly and helped with letting us know what things were.

Yelp
Love it love it love it! Beautiful bakery with plenty of sweet and savory breakfast options outside of the American eggs and bacon. Love the "open kitchen" concept LOVE the freshly squeezed OJ. Makes me really feel like I'm in Europe And love the friendly service as well!

Yelp
We got the almond cake, mixed berry muffin, and a round pastry that had croissant dough and was filled with chocolate with fruit on top. The round pastry was good and by far the best of the 3. The almond cake was pretty hard and bland. It seemed like a plain cake with almonds inside which wasn't what I expected. The muffin was also a bit hard and seemed almost stale. It might have been better if they'd warmed it up. It is a nice space- it's big and open with indoor and outdoor seating. The food cost $23 so between the price and disappointing pastries I don't think I'll be back.

Yelp
Walking into the bakery is like being back in Europe. The desserts all look amazing. Staff is pleasant and friendly, willing to give me a few suggestions. Husband picked out a pistachio cannoli, daughter picked a mini apple tart, and i got a dessert, maybe the Sfoglia, a new dessert that I never seen in my life that is crunchy on the outside and creamy soft on the inside. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I would come here each day if I lived in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Cute new bakery in buckhead! Has a bunch of sandwiches, pastries and coffee. There's seating inside and out. They validate parking for the deck nearby as well.

Yelp
What a great find ! Tucked behind buildings on Peachtree , this quant bakery is pure Art! We had the Prosciutto and mushroom flatbread . It was a large slice so we split it . The sauce was delicious to me as well as the balance of mushrooms to Prosciutto. The staff was extremely helpful with provided information of the food and telling us about their rewards program . We purchased a few pastries. They have a selection of large and smaller treats. I had the lemon meringue mini cake and the pistachio cream puff. Bite size delight ! If you love pistachio ( I do ) they have many options . Seating inside and outside. There is a parking deck . ($14 for an hour and a half) Suggestion, park across the street and walk over .

Yelp
Yummy baked goods :) pizza is served on focaccia bread. Croissant was HUGR, fluffy, and filled with strawberry jam. It hit the savory and sweet cravings for sure.

Yelp
Located in a great area for exploring shops & restaurants. No free parking anywhere, so be prepared to pay $8/hr. The space of the bakery itself is light, modern and welcoming with all of the sandwiches and pastries beautifully on display. We got about 6 of the mini pastries (2 bites max each) & 2 margarita pizza squares and a sfogliatella. Shockingly the total was $65! They were mid not great and definitely did not live up to the price point. The pizza was a 5"x5" square maybe and $9 each. Tasted okay but for sure not a $9 slice. $4 would be a stretch. The sfogliatella was stale and unpleasant. Definitely day old pastries. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. I might stop by if in the neighborhood again to give it a second try, but would definitely not go out of my way to return. The price point is not inline with the taste or portion size. Disappointing.

Yelp
A fantastic bakery in the neighborhood. We love the pastries, sandwiches, and cookies. Their coffee is delicious, too. The service is always excellent and attentive.

Yelp
This Italian Bakery is insane, everything is delicious and pretty authentic! The presentation is beautiful and the coffee is amazing! I drive half an hour from Decatur just to get a prosciutto sandwich and coffee, then get pizza, pastries and croissant to take home for the week. It's in an outdoor mall that's a bit sterile but worth working to find a parking space to get in here! Just hit the Trader Joe's located in the same area on the way out and you are set for the week! Service is fast and super friendly!

Yelp
Fast and kind service. This place opened last week and has plenty of seating inside and outside. We loved the matcha with almond milk, the curcuma, and tomato focaccia. We split a ton of deserts as well. I'd come back here and visit with folks to share some food. Food tasted fresh. Coffee was solid, clean and polished!

Yelp
Very underwhelming. The mortadella sandwich was dry and stale. Everything was just meh. Won't be going back.

Yelp
This bakery absolutely reminds me of being in Europe. The selection of pastry, coffees, and sandwiches is beautiful. We tried tarts, puffs, croissants, and cookies. Everything was amazing. There was a great variety of fresh fruit and nut items. The pastry cream was perfect. Staff is super friendly. Seating area is bright and cheerful.

Yelp
Best pastries ever! Try the lingua with a coffee or one of the custard croissants. The orange juice is as fresh as you can get it. Your life will never be the same.

Amar M.

Yelp
Very friendly but seeing old pizza slices get reheated for this price point is crazy. Did not try the other baked goods which may be what they are known for.

Yelp
Latest coffee and pastry spot in Buckhead and it's pretty good. Italian bakery charm with a modern twist.

Brittany C.

Yelp
Seriously great service and pastries! They stayed open late to accommodate us and the desserts were delicious!

Yelp
New Italian fresh bakery with incredible sandwiches and pastry. Easy access with parking validation.

Yelp
Attractive bakery and friendly staff . A bit pricy but the location necessitates that . Veggie sandwich was good and the baguette sandwich was decent . Didn't try the desserts but they look beautiful . Would certainly try next time I'm at Buckhead Plaza .

Yelp
Pastries are amazing. The store is beautiful and clean. Just happened upon this lovely new bakery. Staff is so nice. I hope this business does well.

Yelp
The food is good but there are flies all over the food. I mentioned it to one of the workers and they pretended to go to the back to get another sandwich (which is an open kitchen) and brought back the same one. For such an expensive sandwich they should not have them out during summer time.

Yelp
Visited here for the first time a few days ago. Amazing atmosphere, location, and great food. We got the caprese sandwhich with ham. It was 10/10. The matcha latte was also amazing. I was a little concerned when they only had vanilla flavoring but it did not need any at all! I will be coming back for sure!

Yelp
We have been to the locations in Florida. We were always hoping that they open one near us. Well, there it is, they are open in heart of Buckhead with beautiful setting both inside and out. Excellent sandwiches, pastries, and of course coffee. We have tried their sandwiches, coffees and pastries. They are all outstanding. Javica has an amazing personality and great customer service making sure everyone is take care of prompt.
