⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible dinner at Rosewild in Fargo and it truly exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding—our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The food was fantastic; everything was delicious, with the exception of the soup, which needed to be reheated—an easy fix, and not a big issue. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, especially since it was our first visit, and we were celebrating my sister’s birthday. It made the occasion even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Fargo!

We enjoyed brunch here while staying at the hotel. The brussel sprouts were definitely the highlight. The chicken biscuit sandwich tasted good (would prefer something other than American cheese) but had to be eaten with a fork as the biscuit was just falling part. We felt like it was a good amount of food for the cost. The downside was the service, no water refills and some confusion over menus.

Came in for Sunday brunch and got off to a rocky start but the food redeemed our experience! We came in right at 10 for brunch and the host seemed really abrasive right off the bat. She told us to sit at one of the tables behind her with no menus and no other information. We sat and watched her bring three other tables to the reservation section and continue to ignore our table - we hadn’t even received menus yet. We had to go up to ask for menus and were told that she would “bring them if we can just give her a minute.” I guess if you don’t have a reservation you don’t matter as much to her. A woman, presumably the manager, greeted us and brought over waters and our waitress soon came by. The rest of the experience was seamless and the food was top notch. Our waitress was so sweet and all the staff, except for that hostess, were so nice and helpful.

Large restaurant with fun, modern color scheme. Lengthy bar. Woodfire oven made whole place smell terrific. Service was solid on a Sunday night. Cocktails were eclectic and delish. We ordered the dutch baby to start. It was brought to the table in a tiny cast iron pan. Cute but taste-wise underwhelming. We had Swedish meatballs as an appetizer. Served in another tiny cast iron pan on a bed of mashed potatoes with lingonberries. Delicious but so are Ikea's. Not being snarky. There really was no dif except price. Roger had roast chicken with roast vegies. Chicken was huge and golden. He dug in and had some to take home. Beautifully plated. He enjoyed it. I had pasta Primavera presented in--? You guessed it: A tiny cast iron pan! (I hope the dishwasher is getting paid well.) If there was pasta in this dish, I did not find it. There was some yummy cheese over sliced zucchini under a mound of bread crumbs. I mean, a serious mound. Like, the kind you could bury a body under! I had to scrape it away, or I'd just have a forkful of bread crumbs. Disappointing dish. I also ordered the watermelon salad. Once again, if a dish comes with a side salad, please politely point that out to your guest. The pastaless primavera had a very nice, crisp, garden salad on side. So, I had 2 salads but no pasta. It's okay. I needed the roughage. Took the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Anyhoo... The reason this is so long is that some of you may be looking for an upscale restaurant for a special night out. I recommend cocktails at the bar.

Honestly it was only OK. The only thing that was pretty good were the Brussel sprouts. The coffee was awful, we had to send it back and have it re-made. I also paid $6 to add on chicken …. I included a picture of how much chicken I got for $6 (it was like 2 oz or less….). Tomato soup was OK, didn’t really have much flavor. Atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn’t come back unless I was just going to work and get the brussel sprouts.

Stopped in to get away from the rain and had a fantastic experience! Split the fried walleye sandwich which was so delicious. As well as the rosemary fries and the aioli. Beautiful atmosphere with great big windows in a prime location.

I have eaten there several times. Lunch - Brunch - Dinner - Late Night - Drinks and a Special Event. The vibe here is outstanding. The food is exceptional - don’t pass by the simple items like the onion dip or the burger (my favorites). Their live music events and celebrity chef meals are great. This feels like dining in larger cities, but is very faithful to the flavors and foods of our area. I am from Fargo and Rosewild is a GO TO when entertaining guests from out of town, special occasions or just grabbing a bite while downtown. Their seasonal cocktail menu is worth getting a group together - everyone order something and try a sip of each!

My first visit to Rosewild was a great one. Friendly staff, clean surroundings and phenomenal food. I ordered their entry to the Fargo Burger Royale challenge along with bacon wrapped potatoes as an appetizer. Sooo good. Thank you for a great experience.

Yelp
Stayed at Hotel Jasper on our cross country road trip and had dinner at Rosewild. We started with the burrata and enjoyed it. I had the harvest salad which was light & fresh. My fiancé liked the fried chicken sandwich. He just thought spice would've been a good addition. The espresso martini I had was very good and coffee forward. Overall it was a good meal and worth the price. The bartender was pretty friendly as well.

Yelp
A few weeks ago Fargo was hit by torrential rains that flooded the kitchen of Rosewild, a restaurant in the iconic Jasper hotel in the heart of Fargo. Fortunately for me this past weekend brought the community out to the downtown area to enjoy street fare versus making plans to visit Rosewild. Upon entering this beautiful building, you know that all of your senses will be delighted. The decor was absolutely beautiful. My partner and I were greeted by a server who immediately asked how many were in my party. I told her two and she proceeded to ask did I have reservations, as the restaurant is busy at this time. I looked around at an almost empty dining area, confused by the statement. I stated that I did not have a reservation, and that the Rosewild website suggests reservations but does not require them. The hostess responded with I have to find a place to seat you. By this time I have scanned the room and counted a total 14 patrons, 16 if you include the young ladies on the terrace enjoying cocktails. Begrudgingly, the hostess found an amazing table for my partner and I in a sea of empty tables. We were greeted by a very friendly server who made great menu recommendations. We also spoke with the manager on duty regarding the exchange at the hostess podium. The manager apologized and explained that normally on a Saturday after the restaurant is busier and reservations are recommended. However in the event that we arrive during a busy hour, bar seating would be offered or potentially seating in the lounge area until a table became available. At the recommendation of the server I ordered the burnt pork belly, Jasper Old Fashion, and the hanger steak. I overly enjoyed the Jasper Old-fashion and steak. The pork belly was delicious but the creama and corn took away from the dish. I would have preferred simply pork belly topped with an Asian inspired pickled slaw. Overall I would return for the attentive server, hanger steak, and Jasper Old-fashioned Fashion.

Yelp
Life took me to the upper Midwest last week- And while snow and chill prevailed, nothing but a hot spot was found for dinner at Rosewild!! Thank you for being a highlight of my long ways trip. Food- stunning, innovative. Ambience- funky and cozy, well spaced, great people. LOVED!!! It was a quiet Wednesday night and a nice break from a long day in having dinner at Rosewild. The decor is contemporary and comforting. We sat at a table overlooking the town's ice skaters, so fun. Drinks were well done- as always never mad at a hand stuffed blue cheese olive martini. Besides though - the food!!! Mmmmmmmm. Apps were Pork Belly burnt ends and Burrata salad. The burnt ends were a falsehood in name, could've been more juicy and meaty to mimic beef, but the flavor was there. Burrata, delicious! Light pesto of fresh herb. Entrees around the table were Steaks, Walleye dishes and two sides. Steaks were well taken by those enjoying. Not the best of cuts chosen towards hanger but made for a satisfaction. The walleye - loved the staying local feel here. And the bread pudding underneath. WHAT was this???! - divine!!! Again an inspo dish. This bread pudding- I am finding recipe and making for a holiday dish accompaniment. WOW!! Additional sides brought towards the steaks were roasted brussels and fried potatoes. These potatoes- had to be fried in an animal fat. They had SOOOOO much flavor. I swear to you not- we were finished dinner, everything was taken off the table and I would NOT LET GO of these fries. FML. I die. I want to eat them again and again. I wanted to take them with, on the plane and repeat a thousand times over. I think the best fries I've ever had in life, no lie. Well freaking done Rosewild. I'd never think reason to come back to Fargo being an East Coast girl, except for you- and the exquisite service, ambiance and food. You are killing it!

Yelp
While vacationing in Fargo, we decided to have dinner at Rosewild. It was Sunday evening, approximately 5:00 p.m., and the restaurant was busy, but not overcrowded. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait to get a table. When my husband and I got our table, the waitress took our order for ice tea and, after she returned with our drinks, we both ordered our dinner. And then we waited, and waited AND waited... we waited nearly 1 hour before the waitress finally came back, apologized for the delay, and told us our food would be served soon. We saw numerous people who arrived at least a half hour after we did and they were served quickly. After waiting another 1/2 hour, 1-1/2 hours total and still no dinner, we walked out. Never have we experienced such poor service. We were completely ignored.

Yelp
I'm here from California and someone told me about this place. It's beautiful. I sat at the bar. It's very well stocked. Some great tequilas on the shelves. I just came in for a snack. The onion dip app is delicious and they carry n/a beer which is a plus! Service was fantastic. Great place to stop and enjoy yourself!

Yelp
The rolling menu isn't that great today, no one thing stood out as appealing or appetizing today. Bummer. Our waiter is warm and friendly. We could only think to start with the dig it produce salad, chopped salad and the Brussels sprouts. Finished with the 3 cookies with milk and caramel ice cream. $45 or so. May end up being a progressive meal tonight suddenly. The dig it salad looked and tasted good until I saw a short white dog or animal hair underneath the salad items. The second dig it salad was food, the farmer's cheese is a nice touch, super rich and creamy. The chopped salad wasn't too bad. $14 for this chopped salad. The dig it salad seemed a bit more higher level than this chopped salad to us. The Brussels sprouts were good, quite sweet. The candies pecans are plentiful and are yummy. The oven baked chocolate chip cookies was the best part of our meal, so chewy and yummy. Service was good. They do charge a 3% Credit Card usage fee, what they refer to as a recovery fee. :/

Yelp
The Jasper Hotel is impressive for what most would expect to find in Fargo, North Dakota. On its first floor is Rosewild, a very nice space. It has an earthy interior design that makes excellent use of wood blended with brown and green hues of nature. Its patio is simple and nicely framed with planters to create an enclosure. For dinner I sat on the patio and ordered their Tagliatelle with a small side salad. I was disappointed that the only bread offering they had was toasted crostini points. The Tagliatelle and the salad were good, but both lacked a flavor punch that left them memorable after the meal. The kind of dinner you eat and then don't feel compelled to comment on. Service from Ian was just OK. He needs to brush up on his knowledge of their kitchen options to be better prepared to handle customization requests from patrons (i.e. "Do you have crumbled blue cheese" etc.). The next morning, I returned to Rosewild for breakfast. Coffee was good and the presentation of the food was very nice. Service from Sami was excellent! The food, much like the night before was good but not exceptional in any way. The savory hash browns were Rosewild's best chance to stand out, but one again didn't have enough flavor to trigger interest. Overall, it's a solid place to dine, if you're staying here. But to stand out amongst the better restaurants in Fargo it needs to up its flavor game.

Yelp
I came here for brunch; The food option is almost non existent. (Please see photo below). The bar selection was phenomenal and the ambiance is terrific. The service was good with absolutely no complaints. I would give the place another try at Dinner. (Hopefully they have more options).

Yelp
I've ate here many times now, except never in the main restaurant as I've always sat in the lounge area or near the fireplace. I've likes everything I've ever had. On the breakfast menu, my VERY favorite is the Fargoan Croche - it's a little of everything with egg, sourdough, cheese, ham, sausage gravy. The pancakes are huge, but having that once was enough for me as it's hard to pass up the Croche. For lunch, I've had the burger, fishwich and fried chicken sandwich several times each. Normally a $18 burger may scare me off because I'm too practical, but it's been worth it. The turkey club is excellent. I enjoy the chips & onion dip too from the appetizer menu. I've had some dinner items at special events, such as steak and salmon but can't recall if they're exactly like on the current menu. On top of the food, the ambience & design of Rosewild is awesome. There is good window-watching of the people passing along Broadway or popping into the hotel.

Yelp
One of the most elegant spots in downtown Fargo with a nice bustling energy. We stopped in on a Friday and every table was occupied. Definitely would suggest a reservation. If we hadn't had one, I don't think we would have been seated that evening. They have a nice assortment of house cocktails. Being in Fargo it felt appropriate and expected to get the hot toddy. I could down multiples in a matter of minutes. They're that good. My favorite dishes that night were the tagliatelle, burger, and the charred gem salad. I'd probably skip the cornbread next time. Don't think of this place just for dinner. Their bar is beautiful with a great social people watching vibe.

Yelp
Love this for a happy hour, girls night out or even a work meeting. They have some of the best drinks in town!

Yelp
I came here to eat breakfast during the week, it was pretty quiet and only had one small table in the restaurant already there. It was a cute elegant cozy vibe with Christmas decorations. By the time we sat down, it just hit 10am and they told us that breakfast was no longer served. But we had such a sweet waitress that she went to go check with the kitchen to see if they can make us some breakfast items. The chef was kind enough to make us some of our breakfast choices. The food came out pretty quick, and such big portions!! Everyone there was so kind, even after asking many questions about the hotel and their menu! I usually can eat a nice amount of food, but I had to take mine to go. It tasted even better as a late night snack. I definitely recommend coming if you want a cozy, small luxury vibe in Fargo with great prices on the menu.

Garrett G.

Yelp
It pretends to be an upscale restaurant with an upscale menu but the service is sub par and the cooking times are very slow. Have been there multiple times and are always asking ourselves where is the food. Maybe it is a small kitchen staff but expect to be waiting for food

Yelp
While I enjoyed my stay at the Jasper Hotel in downtown Fargo, I very much enjoyed my dining experience at Rosewild. I ate breakfast here twice and had dinner during my last evening in Fargo. Breakfast was delicious! It was so good that I had breakfast here, twice! I ordered the Bowtie Breakfast both times. This meal is served with two eggs (your choice of how they're cooked), sausage or bacon, choice of toast, and savory hash browns. I had a pancake on the side both times as well. Pancake is fluffy and maple syrup was good. Great breakfast! For my last evening in Fargo, I made a dinner reservation here. They seated me next to the main window that overlooks downtown Fargo. Great view to people watch. The downtown area has a nice charm to it. I absolutely loved my waitress. She was very kind, personable and made great food recommendations. I started with a Chilled Pea Soup that has English peas, fava beans, mint and olive oil. This was surprisingly good! For my main entree I chose the Ribeye (medium rare) that is served with whipped potatoes. I also chose the Lake Trout Oscar for a steak topping. They served my steak with the Grilled Oiishi Shrimp topping rather than Lake Trout Oscar. When my waitress realized this mistake she brought the Lake Trout Oscar as a side and didn't charge me for the Grilled Oiishi Shrimp. I enjoyed both of these toppings. It's difficult to say which topping is better. I like that the trout is local. I recommend either of these toppings if you choose to order a steak for your main entree. The ribeye was very good. I enjoyed every bite! I decided to order a dessert as well. I chose the Oatmeal Ice Cream. This dessert has maple crisped rolled oats, milk caramel, aebleskiver, apple butter, and oat ice cream. I had this dessert with decaf coffee which was really good. The Oatmeal Ice Cream dessert was really good! I like that the portion wasn't huge. Some restaurants serve desserts in huge portions which isn't a preference of mine. Lastly, I loved the ambiance of this place! This was probably my favorite restaurant in Fargo. It's classy, very clean, intimate vibe, and very friendly staff. I would dine here again if I return to Fargo. Dining here made my Fargo experience even more memorable. I recommend checking out Rosewild if you ever visit Fargo. If you're staying at the Jasper Hotel, you're missing out if you don't at least dine here once. Hope your experience will be as memorable as mine was!

Yelp
This is a beautiful restaurant, very comfortable and charming. However, the acoustics suck - it wasn't crowded, because we got there right when they opened, but I still had trouble hearing my dinner companion across a smallish table. I had the summer salad (with roasted squash, and it's November, but okay) and the weird shrimp dish, served with the heads and tails on (too much work!) and polenta that I swear was refried beans. The sparkling Paloma was good. I had to send the salad back because it had bread crumbs on it, even after I talked to the waitress about being gluten free. And my dish of grilled strawberry ice cream was served with a broken up chocolate cookie on top, even after...well, you get it. The waitress was super nice when I told her I was gluten free. She told me she would make a note in the computer so they would know for the next time I came. But I don't know that I would rush back here, as they apparently don't really know how to accommodate a gluten free customer.

Yelp
I went with my friend the food was mouthwatering. I was hungry not hangry I was so full afterwards

Yelp
We were there before full dinner service so we were limited to social hour dinner. We ordered burgers with fries and onion dip. The burgers were a surprise. Hot, juicy, cheese melting over the burger with crisp tomato. Simply delicious or I was just really hungry after moving my son all day. The martini was so tasty. Just a great meal.

Mal O.

Yelp
Had a nice experience at Rosewild. Came here for a celebratory dinner and they offered complimentary champagne, which was very nice! The fried Brussels sprouts were very tasty, along with the hanger steak. Partner had the grilled pork chop and enjoyed it also. Only thing I really didn't like about the experience was the espresso martini. We will be back!

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel and it was 1F outside that I decided to have diner, bkfst at the Rosemary Restaurant, which the waitress explained most of the menu for diner that night was Norwegian. I ordered the Rib Eye Fillet medium rare with the grilled sprouts and mashed potatoes. Fillet was perfection medium rare, and the sprouts and all the flavors combined with the sparkling rosè I had was SUPERB flavors in my mouth! Wow! How delicious! For pastry I ordered the oat Ice cream and arg! It was amazing! Excellent customer service and ambiance. Our waitress was highly educated in the menu and drinks. The next day I had late lunch, I had the house salad with the goat chesse (a little salty for my taste) and the onion, chesse French soup was SO GOOD! Wow! I will remember this flavor forever. Thank you

Yelp
Rosewild is a great change of pace for a more fine dinning experience. The menu can change often, so be sure to check the website before you make a selection to see if it fits your pallet. I have had many dinners here & must say the food has been exceptional along with the service. Atmosphere is warm & slightly upscale, so if you want to dress up you won't be out of place at all here. A great first date choice. A

Yelp
I was in town for a work trip and walked over for dinner and sat at the bar. It was pretty quiet at the bar and the restaurant had a handful of tables. I ordered the roasted half chicken (with no whipped potatoes) which was $28 and then a glass of rose. The rose never came until asked for it again. The chicken entree was flavorful, definitely wood fire roasted, but the veggies cold. I had to ask for a glass of water. I asked for a dessert menu and was considering another cocktail but they didn't have anything gluten friendly for dessert. I set my card on the bar and was eventually run up. The rose did not appear to be on the bill, but I didn't get an itemized receipt so I couldn't tell and wasn't going to wait around longer to ask. The food was decent albeit not temperature appropriate and the bar service definitely needs improvement. The dinner menu was marked very well for gluten. Cute Main Street atmosphere with plenty within walking distance. Perhaps a Monday, Monday type day for the bartenders? I heard from another business traveler that the service was wonderful on other visits. At any rate, better than the 20 years ago Fargo I recall - yay Fargo!

Yelp
I was recently in Fargo ND (gulp) and decided to treat myself to a solo night out while I was visiting family. I had a fabulous experience! The staff was friendly and genuinely wanted me to enjoy my solo night out. My food was delicious and the timing of the meal was not rushed. The option for caymus by the glass was a nice bonus! (And covered by the manager who was also a single mom and celebrated me taking myself out!) If you find yourself in Fargo, Rosewild is a must! It is a bit loud on a weekend as the bar is open to the restaurant, however that was part of the charm. I then had an after diner drink in the bar and chatted with everyone.

Beth P.

Yelp
The hanger steak was too salty. The waiter did not care about my opinion. Our drinks (for 3 people) all went dry before he came to check on us.

Yelp
In a town with hardly any fine dining, I was ecstatic to see Rosewild holding a tasting menu for New Tears eve. They are located at the brand new Jasper hotel, a lovely dining area located near the lobby with also its own bar. The tasting menu was a theme of farm to table with a elegant twist. First course was smoked white fish dip with a side of flat bread, second course was pink moon oysters with horseradish foam, different from the usual vinaigrette but I enjoyed it! Third course was pork terrine, almost like a elevated charcuterie, fourth course a roasted squash salad, fifth coarse was a potato risotto with leeks, never had a risotto that wasn't rice, actually my favorite dish of the night. We finished with coal roasted sturgeon and braised short rib. I also really enjoyed dessert, I'm not usually a chocolate lover but this treat was so satisfying after being full from a tasting menu. It was chocolate ganache covered with toasted marshmallow meringue, with graham crackers crumbles, an adult version of s'mores! We can't wait to visit Rosewild again

Yelp
Several months ago, there was a change in hotel & restaurant management, and since then the service has substantially plummeted. The staff used to be very authentically, professional, well trained, attentive to guests needs and delightful. The last five months there have been visible conflict between resturant, managers and wait staff in the restaurant, in front of guests. A waiter across the room, audibly being scolded. I asked our table's waiter if this occurrence was unusual, and sadly, he said with new management it's quite frequent. Recently ordering coffee at the bar one morning, I waited for 10 minutes before anyone even noticed and asked if I needed something. During that 10 minutes both the reception desk staff, and those at the bar made eye contact with me, not one of them acknowledged that I was waiting, at the register, to order. It's really quite embarrassing for what once was a very wonderfully run hotel, and restaurant. They also made changes to the lobby, removing bespoke lounge seating, that was very unique to the hotel, and replaced it with very typical bar seating.

Yelp
I am going to crave the spring salad, I didn't think to take a pic. The combination of tart lemon, goat cheese, and the crunch from sunflower seeds was a perfect combination. Staff was great and attentive and food came out faster than we expected. Delicious!

Michael K.

Yelp
There are such better places to eat in Fargo. The service is incredibly slow. The food is extremely overpriced for basic fare. We ordered ribeyes and salmon. The rib eyes were $75 and looked like they came from the cold case out of Cash Wise. They were placed on top of a small portion of mashed potatoes. Over all the steaks were ok, however for that price point I would have expected bone-in along with a side or two. Another member of our party ordered the salmon. It was terrible. We sent it back and the wait staff came back to tell us that it was because it came from some northern region and was meant to taste that way.....Id suggest sourcing your salmon elsewhere and making sure that it's at least fresh. Even the rice or quinoa (couldn't tell) was awful. It was mushy and bland. We couldn't even forget about the terrible food by just drinking beer. Their taps were broken and all the beer was flat. Quality of food was terrible. Service was slow. I don't see them staying open long with this management.
google avatar

Alexandra C.

Yelp
The ambiance here was too notch, we ended up ordering more drinks and tea just to stay and enjoy the atmosphere longer! Truly the best salad of my life! I ordered the veggie & dip plate and told the server I don't do dairy. The chef whipped up the most incredible plant based white bean dip in lieu of the dip with dairy. I couldn't get enough of it! Next time I am in Fargo I will be staying here without a doubt and returning to dine!

K W.

Yelp
There was a hidden credit card fee on the bill even though I was not paying by credit card. Very tacky and dishonest when restaurants do this. I asked to have it removed and was surprised the staff didn't even apologize. I know of one company that had their event and here and most everyone got sick from food poisoning. Aside from the service and food, the positive note is that this restaurant is beautiful.

Shawn A.

Yelp
We stopped by for a late lunch. The place was empty - it was a very late lunch. It took the staff a while to recognize we were there but were friendly and quick to take and deliver our beverages and take our order. The food was high quality and tasty. The reason for four stars was simply portion size relative to price for an entree salad with chicken. While slightly larger than a side salad it was smaller than expected for a $20 entree salad, even for lunch. It was delicious though! (Salads in the photo appear larger than reality- the bowl was about 1.5 inches tall and 8-9" wide).

Yelp
I have only gotten to visit for drinks and app's prior to the dinner menu starting. The drink menu was amazing and the bartenders were extremely knowledgeable and willing to make you anything you could ask for. The apps were amazing as well, we had an onion dip with chips and I dream about it every day.. the meat and cheese board was delicious as well. I can't wait to return for dinner! Certainly on the higher end price wise, but in my opinion, worth it. Not somewhere I will visit every day, but every once in a while to treat myself, absolutely.

Yelp
I've only been to Rosewild twice to eat - a few other times just for drinks. I would recommend it for drinks, and for food if you don't set your expectations too high. I tried their burger, hoping it would be exceptional but alas was a little disappointed. It was good but nothing to make a trip for. The service was likewise - not bad but not exceptional. The restaurant/ bar is all new and is very much the 'new' better dining restaurant in the Fargo- Moorhead area but I maybe set my expectations too high. I prefer Mezzaluna or Rustica for food and service. Overall Rosewild is a nice experience but not exceptional.

Yelp
We had dinner at Rosewild the first Saturday it was open. The space itself was beautiful and inviting; located on Broadway, it included a great view of all the bustling activity in Broadway Square. We felt welcomed and well attended to through the entire experience by the array of smartly-dressed wait staff. The menu had a great variety of selections without being overwhelming. We loved being able to see a list of local farms and makers whose products were featured in the menu. We ordered the cast iron cornbread, coffee cured braised pork, smoked whitefish carbonara, and coulotte steak, then finished with Danish pancakes. All our sections were beautifully plated, with an absolutely fantastic array of distinctive but complementary flavors and textures. A few highlights that deserve a special mention: the whipped potato served with the steak was especially creamy and delicious, the steak itself was perfectly done and bursting with flavor, the whitefish carbonara should have sonnets written about it, and the Danish pancakes were a most mouthwatering combination of sweetness from the raspberries, tartness from the passionfruit, and rich flavor from the pancakes themselves. Our Rosewild experience was very memorable and it's very exciting that Fargo has such a wonderful offering!

Yelp
Terrible customer experience today. I've been in the past and had great food and service. Not sure I would come back after today though. We had stayed as guests in the hotel and decided to get brunch before leaving town. We arrived at the restaurant check in desk around 10:15. There was no one there for quite some time so we had to go track someone down. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table and ended up waiting over an hour for food. We were told they were sold out of the quiche which was surprising less than an hour into their brunch service. The tables around us sat dirty the entire time we were there. No one came to refill our drinks either. I was shocked at the overall lack of staffing and attention to the cleanliness and guests. Not one person apologized for the delays. One of the food runners was even snotty when we asked about a missing side of bacon. His comment was - "I only have 2 hands". It would have been disappointing regardless, but especially as a paying hotel guest. We likely won't be back.

Yelp
The server was super sweet and very willing to help us out when we mentioned having food allergies. Everything we ordered was delicious!

Yelp
If you're wanting a true food restorative experience, I can only recommend Rosewild. We had the full course meal which was delicious. In addition to everything tasting exquisite, the waiter was knowledgeable and a intuitive communicator. We had a lot of fun at Rosewild, the atmosphere is unbeatable. It is truly charismatic. I will be returning soon.

Yelp
We sat down here after walking by and noticing how nice it was inside. We order from the lounge menus as it was 3pm. We got the burger and salad. Their burger was to die for and the salad was extremely fresh. The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of food. I think we found a new favorite date spot!

Yelp
Enjoyed the chefs choice dinner. It was fabulous. Wonderful wine list. Service was great. Wood fire oven set the mood for my date and I as soon as we walked in. Worth every penny.

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere with a delightful view of broadway. Make note, you need reservations on the busier mornings! I'm not a big breakfast sausage person but the house sausage they use on the breakfast sandwich is truly something else. The stuffed French toast was fantastic but I couldn't finish it! For being a nicer place the portions are bigger than expected.

Yelp
I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service and food I received while eating in the lounge section of Rosewild for dinner. I have been to Rosewild many times before and I have enjoyed the food but this time I was disappointed enough to leave a review. I ordered the Tagliatelle pasta and It tasted like they dumped a pound of salt on it. I could not eat it! I asked our server if it was supposed to be this salty, he continued to say that the chefs said it was fine. I felt like I was being looked down upon. He did take the meal off the tab but did not apologize, making the whole experience even worse!

Yelp
We arrived on their evening when they have a limited bar menu. The music is fabulously uplifting and the lounge is spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend! The staff was VERY accommodating to my partner who has extensive food allergies. In fact, The chef, Katherine, came out to talk about food possibilities to our table and spent 5 minutes asking questions. Katherine is obviously passionate about her career. She created a beautiful salad and vegetable dish from such limited options because of my partners' restrictions. Katherine then hand delivered us our meal and recapped exactly how she prepared it all. IMPRESSIVE !!! Visit this hit spot !!!

Yelp
I have been here a few times and I REALLY want to like it but I just don't. The food is underwhelming and the service has been poor. I was invited back due to poor service to try them again. I wanted the chef's choice but that is not allowed if a person is alone. Even though the portions are individual. So it seems like a really strange "rule". So I had the bison sirloin. It was like chewing gum. It was really hard to eat and I ended up only having a few bites. They have good appetizers and some of the food is good, however, for the money, there are FAR better options in Fargo to pick from. As I said, I really wanted to like this place, but it just isn't good enough for me to pay that much for such poor service and food.

Yelp
Let's start with the good: 1. Atmosphere: nice decor, loved the patio too 2. Service: probably as good as you can expect in Fargo 3. Mimosa: delicious! 4. Presentation (of food, including dishware) What could be improved: 1. The food: we went because we are still searching for good made from scratch eggs Benedict in the area. It was good, but not enough to come back for. Poached eggs were underdone (watery). Also not sure why poached eggs were served on the side rather than as part of the English muffin stack? The fries were OK, but again not worth coming back for. The crispy cauliflower was interesting, but not crispy enough and one of the pieces had too much cornstarch and wasn't properly cooked. They did replace the entire dish for us, so again that goes for good service. We would be willing to come back if they changed their food service, otherwise we would skip food and just come for drinks (and maybe enjoy their fire pits at night!)

Yelp
We decided it was finally time to check out the "new place" downtown & were so glad that we did. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and our server was very kind and attentive. We went with the chef's choice on the menu and each thing that was brought out became our new favorite thing. Overall, I think the coffee cured braised pork & creamed corn (forgot to take a picture) was our favorite with the smoked whitefish dip to start being very close behind. I tried two different cocktails and both were DELICIOUS. Looking forward to trying more things from the menu.

Yelp
Wow! Such slow service! We had 8 peeps, a bottle of wine and three cocktails. Took 20 minutes. The bar tenders seemed slow and stoned! So disorganized. It's a great vibe and space, but terrible service.

Yelp
Don't go here. Save your time & money! Ordered a wrap & requested no onions due to allergies & they still served us this wrap which tasted ONLY like onion. Sent it back & asked for a new one but they couldn't because it's premade (Classy for a "upscale" restaurant). Their only restitution to this was to take the wrap off our bill & nothing else (still paid for the new dish we HAD to order). We've gotten cheaper drinks at Hell's Kitchen. Basically bought a whole bottle of Casamigo just for 2 tequila sunrises. Ruined our whole date. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Yelp
My husband and I made reservations here for my birthday on a Friday night. I was super excited to try this place since they had tartare on the menu (my favorite!), oysters, sweetbreads, and a bison strip steak. We just moved here from LA and I was missing good, unique food. Well, let me tell you, none of that food is worth stepping foot into this place ever again. In fact, it downright depresses me that it exists in such a nice, warm and welcoming place like Fargo. The people that work here were so rude and pretentious. The reservation meant nothing apparently and we were told to wait for a table. The drink waitress "had no idea" if there were any NA drinks (I'm expecting) and never came back to tell us. After 20 minutes my husband asked about a table the host shrugged and said, "As you can see, we're very busy." My husband pointed to three open tables behind him to which he said, "Oh. Okay, we can seat you there I guess." He proceeded to seat us at the worst table (half booth, half chair tiny table sandwiched between others). We asked for the corner table and they said it was reserved (???). We asked for the window seat and then our server came. Another pretentious, unfriendly employee. We ordered the tartare and a drink but canceled the drink because we decided to leave. He said he couldn't cancel the drink. Ha! Sorry, but we're not going to drink it or pay for it. These people need some serious lessons in customer service. Not one person asked if it was a special occasion, said congratulations to my pregnancy, or so much as smiled at us. What kind of sad hole did these people crawl out of? The tartare was great but a tiny portion (to be expected). The problem is that I could make the same food at my house (except way bigger portions!) and feel happy and comfortable, without the loud annoying music, rude employees, and sterile "modern" decor. People don't go out for the food, they go out for the experience. Stay away and go to Mezzaluna, we went there afterwards and they were lovely.

Yelp
Excellent service, beautiful decor, even the restrooms were spectacular. The food though... I am quite adventurous - the food for the most part was a bit off. I would be willing to try again since the service and atmosphere was great. Maybe next time we will just come for drinks instead! Thanks for the wonderful evening!
