Yelp
First visit last weekend, as we were in the same little shopping center as Brentwood Fine Wines. The young lady working in the wine shop suggested Rosti Tuscan Kitchen for lunch, saying she hadn't been there, but heard good things about them. Well, we enjoyed our experience so much, that we went back to the wine shop, and highly recommended that she try it herself, asap! The restaurant is clean/modern and there's a cozy, covered patio, which is where we sat. The parking lot is small, but there is an underground parking garage.
SERVICE: We arrived about 20 minutes before opening, but they allowed us to sit down early. Dylon waited on us, and gave us a nice overview of the restaurant, chef, and the menu (very extensive selections). We started with a couple Italian Old Fashioned ($16/ea.) cocktails, which I thought were well made and quite tasty. They have a full bar and a nice little cocktail menu and modest wine list. Corkage fee is $25.
FOOD: We began with two cups of the Tomato Soup with Fresh Basil ($9 cup/$12 bowl), and shared the Crab Tower ($18), both on the Seasonal Chef's Specials menu. For entrées, I had the Penne Fungi ($27) with fresh porcini mushrooms and Italian sausage and a shiitake white cream truffle sauce. My wife had the Linguine in a spicy pink sauce with blackened chicken ($27). We finished off our lunch with the Nutella Calzone ($12), topped with strawberries and bananas, which my wife paired with an Espresso Martini ($15). Everything was completely delicious!
In summary, the food was excellent, and the service even better. While it's a little far from our home, I'm sure we'll be back to the little wine shop, and will be combining it with another adventure at Rosti Tuscan Kitchen. I highly recommend.
