At first, I was quite impressed by the decor and the all-over vibe of the place. It seemed family-friendly and warm.
The staff were prompt and nice, too. The parts where it lost points from me are:
1. They ask for an extra dollar if you don't take ice in your drink because that means more juice! I would really urge the management to review this policy and change it. I've not seen this type of price hike. It seems very greedy and unfair.
2. The taste of the food did not seem at par with Malaysian food. It didn't taste like sambal in the fried rice at all, and the chicken was very oily. I was told sambal is mixed with fried rice, but it just tasted like an average bowl of fried rice with no flavour and hard grains!
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. The price was not that far off, so I would request them to work on the dishes to bring the authenticity more.
I also tried one of their dessert but I did not enjoy it that much either.
