Vintage cafe with house-roasted coffee, latte art & light fare

"A Korean coffee shop that operated for 10 years, it closed on August 18 with an announcement that the same team will turn the space into something new." - Nadia Chaudhury
"The Chinatown Korean cafe-slash-bar is dishing up tteokguk (a beef broth soup with rice cakes, dumplings, eggs, scallions, and chile) from Thursday, January 23 through Friday, January 31." - Nadia Chaudhury

"Do you want coffee that also tastes like a cookie? Get the butter-covered latte at Round K, a Korean-inspired spot that’s equal parts all-day café and speakeasy. The latte is topped with an espresso microfoam and a dusting of chocolate cookie crumbs, the whole thing evoking a melted Oreo dipped in coffee. Also worth trying is the Flat Purple, which combines cold brew with ube cream for something that tastes a bit like caffeinated ube cheesecake. It’s worth noting that the food here is good, too. We love the Korean party toast, and they make their fluffy scrambled eggs using an espresso machine steam wand." - carina finn koeppicus
"Do you want coffee that also tastes like a cookie? Get the butter-covered latte at Round K by Sol, a Korean-inspired spot in Chinatown that’s equal parts all-day café and speakeasy. The interior is dark and moody (in a good way) with a few small tables, but we prefer to sit in their spacious backyard when it’s nice out. They make their scrambled eggs using an espresso machine steam wand, so they’re extremely fluffy in addition to being a cool party trick. Speaking of parties, we love their Korean Party Toast, which makes us want to keep a tub of kimchi butter in the fridge at all times." - carina finn koeppicus, bryan kim, hillary reinsberg
"I see the Welcome to Chinatown Lunar New Year series also includes additional events at Round K." - Emma Orlow
