Ordered takeout. I had a taste for wings and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Asian flavor. They were crispy(like I like) with a kick.

I recently had a delightful experience at Route 66 Smokehouse. Opting for the New York Strip Steak, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor. It was cooked perfectly to my liking and had a rich, savory taste that really hit the spot. My wife chose the Smoked Baby-Back Ribs, and she couldn't stop raving about how tender and flavorful they were. The smokiness was just right, and the meat practically fell off the bone. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service attentive without being overbearing. Overall, we had a very satisfying meal and would definitely recommend Route 66 Smokehouse for anyone looking for well-prepared American cuisine.

Route 66 Smokehouse was like our first meal whiles in new year coming from our Staten Island ferry terminal. This place was very entertaining for our family and we all enjoyed the meal. Great burgers, ribs and awesome mac n’ cheese. But here’s a tip, we did have to pay $1 for refills on soda.

Oktoberfest - October 26, 10:47 PM I recently visited Oktoberfest and had an unexpected experience with what seemed to be a billing issue. After ordering three $13 drinks, my bill totaled over $60. When I pointed out the discrepancy, the bartender apologized and attempted to adjust it multiple times at the register. However, I noticed each attempt added a 25% gratuity, resulting in a total that far exceeded the expected amount. When I questioned this, the bartender casually mentioned that an automatic gratuity is “always added,” which didn’t align with typical tipping practices for a single drink. Ultimately, it seemed as though this might be a questionable practice designed to increase the bill, assuming patrons wouldn’t notice. When I mentioned I couldn’t justify paying that amount for such small drinks, the bartender’s response was unexpectedly unprofessional; he even refused to provide a board game my group had requested. It became extremely obvious the employee was running the scam when his eyes went wide when I called out the cost and the auto gratuity, why would you says it’s a mistake 3 times before finally saying “oh, actually it’s not a mistake”. You didn’t realize it was a mistake 3 times? Jesus dude, come on! Lie a little better, eh? If the building or restaurant owner reads this, I’d be happy to share more details on the experience—it may be worth looking into to ensure employees are not stealing from your business.

Thank you to Jack and Danny for the amazing service! Don’t miss this terrific brunch! Great steak and eggs, biscuits and pulled pork! Also bottomless options include aperol spritz, espresso martinis, mimosas and Bellinis!

The hot chicken sandwich was pretty tasty. The fries were ok. Limited food menu. Good amount of alcohol for you drinkers! Most of the food is priced at $20 per plate. Plenty of seating inside or outside. Service is extremely slow. I had to wait 15 minutes to order food. Street parking only. Make sure you come here with a good amount of patience!

Google
Only one waiter for the Bar/Restaurant was way too less. The guy was running around like crazy but anyway he was not able to provide proper service. Food was below average. Tenders just boring without any seasoning, wings standard, quesadilla okay. We won't come again.

Had my son’s graduation party at Route 66 smokehouse with a party of 18. Everyone had a great time! The food was excellent. The food & service were superb. The weight staff was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. Upper management was phenomenal as well as they came to check on us a few times through the evening to ensure all was well. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Food was good, had the chicken quesadilla. Service was great, knew how to poor a Guinness. Good spot to watch sports and have a chill environment.

Yelp
My guest and I arrived at Route 66 for a late lunch after spending the day at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. First, all the staff was most attentive. Even the trainee was very good at making sure we were enjoying our visit. She seemed like she was a seasoned professional. Next, the choice of either sitting inside or outside was next. We sat inside at a table near the window. Inside had good music creating a nice atmosphere. Easy to have a conversation. Onto the main event. We shared the watermelon and feta salad with mint and a just a little bit too much Balsamic dressing on it. Overall it was ok. My guest ordered the pulled pork plate with a side of red cabbage coleslaw. I took the mixed green salad that came with it. I ordered the Classic Route 66 burger medium, cooked to perfection complimented by julienne fries. We both enjoyed the pickle chips that came with our meals. The food met expectations. On the way out, I did compliment to the manager how good the staff was while engaging a conversation about recovering post pandemic. If down in FiDi, I highly recommend enjoying some drinks and food at Route 66.

Yelp
For our last night in NYC, we wanted something 'easy' and outdoors since the weather was gorgeous. Mom was craving bbq so here we landed. We had some happy hour drinks and hubs and I split the charred half chicken with harissa. It was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely order this one. Mom enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich as well. It was a bit wobbly sitting on the pavers but we managed. Service was very good and the place was PACKED. Seems super popular with the after work crowd.

Yelp
My ideal game spot! They have all the fun games i love: pac man, basketball, life-size connect 4, skee-ball, life-size jenga, foosball, and more Fantastic beer menu: lots of NY local + US craft beers. Our bartender was super sweet! Was basically empty on a Sunday afternoon which was perfect for me and my boyfriend as we got the upstairs to ourselves to hang out! The games are card or quarters only and there's a jukebox of sorts where you can pay to play (and we sure did bop some Pooh Shiesty lol). There is a super cute booth downstairs tucked away into a corner with another life-size jenga game! The bathroom upstairs is also hella cute (and photo-worthy for you Instagram fiends) Would definitely return for another fun game day and to try some of the classic American food offerings

Yelp
Genuinely worst food I've ever had. Took forever for server to get here, no seasoning on the food whatsoever, only salt. I think my blood pressure is rising drastically. Would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy.

Nicole K.

Yelp
We had the Tennessee Fried Chicken and Skillet Mac & Cheese where we added pulled pork and truffle oil. The chicken was seasoned well and it was juicy and tender. Would've preferred collard greens but instead it was sautéed spinach. The cornbread was whatever but the hot honey on the side hit the spot. We sat outside cause it was actually cooler than dining inside. A bit bummed that the upstairs was closed for a private event. It would've been fun to play some games but we were only able to play skeeball. Good beer choices as well!

Yelp
Route 66 to the rescue! Where so many restaurants in the area (next door) fell short on customer service, the staff at Route 66 really picked up my spirit. I was greeted at the door with a warm welcome from a nice gentleman who actually seemed to appear from thin air like he was there specifically to greet me lol! It seems silly but as a person who comes from a customer service background it really feels good when people give you good energy. From the host, to the bus person, to the bartender, we really enjoyed ourselves. Young people if you're wondering if this place is aesthetic enough, IT IS! Neon lights, holiday decor, vintage license plates, the whole shabang, it's worth it. The bartender doubled as our server, it was early in the day so that was a good use of coverage, you can tell they strategize well. Our food was amazing (as pictured) we got hot wings- which were perfectly cripsy and coated. Perfect size, I am a person that really pays attention to that as I don't like Brontosaurus sized chicken wings lol. I was thoroughly pleased. On the side we got truffle parm fries, which were deliciously stuck together with parmesan. For drinks we both got peachy margaritas (we like the same taste palette lol) and they were nicely priced for the area, as well as delicious. Just the one cup packed a punch as well. I was really happy about that. I will absolutely attend again, I am already planning another visit with more people!

Alvin M.

Yelp
Came here to scope out the place for an event. They have a nice cozy upstairs area that can be reserved for private events. It comes with seats, private bar, and many arcade style games (see pictures). The mango margarita was decent, slightly on the sweet side but not unexpected. The birria quesadilla was good but I expected more consommé. The sliced brisket sandwich was good: meat had notable smoke flavor and was tasty. Service was very fast. It's not the fanciest place, but a nice affordable spot to casually hangout and have a bite and a drink.

Bridget K.

Yelp
Very blah! I would never choose to eat here again. I ordered a smash burger, and the patties were WAY too big to be considered a "smash burger". The meat was very pink inside and the bread fell apart as I ate it. The service was okay and the fries were decent.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Had walked by Route 66 Smokehouse a number of times and finally stopped in on an early Sunday afternoon and had a nice experience. We had the Pulled Pork Platter and the Brisket Sandwich and both were very good with the Pulled Pork probably a bit better. It was relatively quiet when we there and got to play a game of Jenga while we waited for our food. Our server Julia was also very friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Jen F.

Yelp
Route 66 is alright but nothing to write home about. The inside is pretty cool with the vintage gas pump and signage so it has a nice feel. The service is not so great though, especially during happy hour when you are on a time crunch to down as many beers as possible. There was a bingo competition which was fun but not a ton of participation. The food was mediocre at best but good enough for munching on some fries or a pretzel during happy hour. I would not recommend the salads.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
This was a nice place, but it was definitely lacking in terms of seating, service, and ambiance. We arrived yesterday for our work happy hour and found that they had given our table away. It was a bummer, but shared responsibility since we didn't call ahead to confirm the reservation and we were about 15 minutes late. They also didn't call to see if we were coming either, they just gave the table away. We had to stand for about 30 minutes before another table cleared so we could sit together. Then they had the table ready, but there weren't enough chairs. So people were left standing while our poor host had to run up and down the stairs repeatedly in search of chairs. The move spot they moved us to upstairs near the games smelled horribly like BO. It was super nasty, even with the window open. It wasn't my hypersensitive pregnant nose, but it was smelled by a bunch of my coworkers and it was super off-putting. Food: Nachos and fries were good. For the main, I ordered a fried hot chicken sandwich, which was dry and mostly batter, there was very little chicken Overall service was slow, drinks and food came super slowly. When they got us our beers, the bartenders or servers had mislabeled the beers and half the team received the wrong order. Definitely could've been better and highly do not recommend...though this was the only place that could accommodate a group our size.

Yelp
Towards the end of my bar crawl, I needed to use the restroom. As a civilized individual, the streets were no option, so I meandered into 66 Smokehouse. One gender neutral restroom which was quite spacious. Having made additional storage, I decided it would be fruitful to have a glass of Coney Island Beach Beer to cap off a proper crawl. While I was unable to patron all the establishments of Stone Street, I was quite happy with the four I did encounter.

Emma G.

Yelp
***2 1/2 stars*** I think the lesson here is that I need to stop visiting these tourist traps on Stone Street, especially for sit-down meals. They're all overpriced (even by the standards of downtown Manhattan), and the food/service is never worth it. All you're getting for the extra money is the opportunity to eat on some cobblestones, which I'm sure I could easily do elsewhere. I stopped by last Friday for lunch around 1PM. It was pretty empty inside (it was a bit bustling outside on the aforementioned cobblestones, so I thought strategically it made sense to go to a quieter area where I'd be more likely to get solid service), and I easily secured a high top table just off the bar area. A positive right off the bat that's worth noting - this is the first time I can remember telling a bartender that I was just getting water in lieu of alcohol, and there was NO discernable change in their demeanor. This is a pet peeve of mine, and I'm glad Route 66 has employees who realize there's little value in looking mildly sad at the loss of a little extra money on the tab. I was pretty hungry, so I went with the Basket of Biscuits ($8) and the Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese ($18). Both were honestly pretty disappointing. The "basket" was a normal plate (why bother including Basket in the name of your dish if you don't intend to use one?) and the biscuits were unfortunately pretty dry/crumbly. I love biscuits from all over the spectrum - my all-time favorite is from Roy Rogers, which looked a lot like these, except the interior was moist and soft and the exterior had a nice crisp to it, but I can get down with super buttery ones like from Popeyes or Bojangles, or really doughy ones like at KFC. These just weren't good, and it's especially disappointing coming from an alleged BBQ place. They had a honey butter-type condiment, which was tough to apply because of the aforementioned texture, and it honestly didn't make much of a difference in terms of taste, which was bland. The Mac and Cheese was also not up to snuff. You can see from the accompanying picture that it's not very visually appealing - the random burnt topping wasn't a good look - and the pasta was a bit undercooked. The cheese was okay, but not great, also in the bland category. Personal palate-wise, I would have preferred smaller pieces of pulled pork and not quite as much, but I'm sure plenty of people are into the big hunks provided generously here. The only reason this isn't a full-on negative review is because of the service. I mentioned the personable bartender, but the service throughout the meal was excellent. As with most of the lunch options in the area, I was pretty much done within 30, 35 minutes from initial entry, which isn't bad. My proximity to the bar probably helped, but it was super easy to hail down the waitress/bartender for ordering, the check, etc. It's not hard to find BBQ restaurants in this area, and this one honestly isn't up to par in most respects. I might stop by a drink in the future, but I doubt it's commit to much beyond that.

Yelp
Great service. Food is okay. Nice vibes. I did a reservation for their outdoor igloos to eat at with my boyfriend. It was very cute, with a heater in the igloo to keep warm. Comes with a complementary blanket (nothing crazy, an Ikea thinnish blanket). The reservation I made ahead of time costs $60, which covers food, tax, and tips costs. I went on a Friday and they had a happy hour going on until 7pm I believe, so my boyfriend and I ordered 2 red wines ($9 each glass) - it was pretty good! I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a Beef Brisket Sandwich. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was actually a bit spicier than I thought it would be. From low to high spicy, it was a medium level spicy. Super flavorful and tender chicken. The bread for the sandwich was okay, it was a little bit on the drier end. The fries are standard, kind of tastes like McDonald's fries without the extra salt. The Beef Brisket Sandwich was also pretty good too! Just keep in mind that it can be a pretty messy sandwich to eat - as expected of bbq foods. We ended our dinner order the S'mores set which was $20 - definitely overpriced for S'mores, but it was fun for the experience for a special occasion. They had a mini fire to roast the marshmallows in. All in all, I would probably come back again for the Game Room upstairs and for a more casual eat and drink setting rather than for a romantic dinner at the igloo. The igloo experience is more like a one-time cool experience to have.

Yelp
Could've been better. Like way better. You probably wonder why Route 66 has a ton of empty seats open on a Friday night when the rest of Stone Street is packed to the rim. It's because things just could've been better here. First off there's nothing wrong with the service, the server is attentive, but the food was extremely lacking. Trust me, this was our mistake, to order food from a bar and expect it to be OK, but this was simply less than OK. The food was "Walmart Frozen Section" type of quality. The chicken tenders, the fries, the mac and cheese, these are all items that they probably just unboxed from some stouffer's frozen food kit, with the same to-go bowls that Chipotle has and served to you with a premium mark up. We also ordered a $100 margarita tower which we really should've just stuck to beer because who likes a $100 margarita tower with 60% ice, 35% sugar and 5% alcohol? To the owners of Route 66, please reconsider what you're serving to your customers, take this advice and improve your restaurant/bar!

Baxter S.

Yelp
Very average BBQ. Nothing special at all. The meats were average and the fries not good. A friend doesnt' like BBQ and ordered the smash burger, but it was not cooked properly. meh to Route 66

Tori K.

Yelp
Awesome date night spot or night out with friends! This place has it all: nice atmosphere, delicious drinks, good food, arcade games and a photo booth. I adored the drinks. They have something for everyone! If you're like me and need a sweet drink that won't make you sick the next day- go with The Kentucky Bourbon or The Beach drink (which comes in a pouch). The arcade games include foosball, ping pong, ski ball, basketball, pinball, shuffleboard, and a ton of board games and card games like Jenga, Uno, Connect Four, etc. The photo booth was SO COOL! Me and my friends loved it. The lighting is phenomenal (ring light) and it immediately texts you your photo. The food is pretty good. It really depends on your preferences. My friend LOVED the pulled pork sandwich, while it was below mediocre to me- they serve the BBQ sauce on the side and do not cook the meat in sauce. For me, even after I poured the BBQ sauce on the meat it was bland. No coleslaw????? Pickles??? It should come with something else on it. The pretzels appetizer was also mediocre. Two pretzel sticks and thin honey mustard sauce. The shoestring fries were great though.

Mike V.

Yelp
If you'd like four small greasy fried oysters that didn't even come ON A PO'BOY, this is the place for you. They tasted like nothing, came on a slider bun with over done fries. Boo.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Came here meeting up with a date and the food was just not that good. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It wasn't that flavorful and I didn't care for the bun they used. I didn't eat much of it as I wasn't a fan. It's a bummer because I definitely get a hankering for a good southern pulled pork sammy sometimes, but this wasn't it. My date got a burger and said his food was ok. I don't think it was anything fantastic but he was very hungry so I think he was ready to eat anything at that point. Service was nice and I liked that we were able to rent games. Other than that, it wasn't much to write home about. If anything I'd just come here to drink, skip the food. 3/5

G B.

Yelp
i just had french fries with one of their special sauces. both were very good! clean place. friendly service. i didn't like that the fries were a little salty. huge salt crystals. i would have to ask for no salt next time.

Sandeep R.

Yelp
Came here for a happy-hour with some friends on a Saturday evening and was pleasantly surprised to see the number of games/ things to do. More specifically, there's a couple of ping-pong tables upstairs along with a wide range of games . While we made a reservation in advance, the place was mostly empty. In terms of food, I'd recommend the nachos along with a wide selection of cocktails

Sharonda A.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would... first we ordered an appetizer and drinks and the one thing we got was the drinks... We ordered dinner ( ribs, roasted chicken or chicken sandwich) and asked about my entree (roasted chicken) and never got an answer... so finally all together our food comes out including the appetizer and so disappointed!!! The coleslaw tasted like red cabbage and Mayo, the nachos tasted like cheez wiz and leftover meat, the French fries were supposed to be rosemary and I think they left the rosemary somewhere. I got a chicken sandwich which was drowned in Ranch dressing! My husband said the ribs were good.... For NY this def missed the mark 1000%. I could have gotten a better meal at McDonalds and saved my $60 to sit in a snow globe.

Mel T.

Yelp
Originally, my friends and I were looking to go to Upstairs at 66 where they had games. We didn't realize it was located upstairs at Route 66 (which makes sense when you think about it) but the game room was closed for a private event. So we decided to just sit downstairs, order some drinks (HH is 4-7) and a few apps to share since none of us were too hungry. For drinks, I stuck to the house whiskey ginger - which wasn't bad. They don't skimp on the alcohol, which a lot of happy hour places do, so I appreciate that. For food, we had the Cracklin' Pork Clouds (pork rinds) - really good, especially dipped in their green sauce, Sarah's smoked wings - salty AF; I was only able to eat one piece, the Truffle Brussels - one of their "specials" but it wasn't special, and some regular fries - soggy and oily. I guess you don't really come to Stone Street to eat. Stick to the drinks here and hopefully, the game room upstairs will be open when you go.

Tom T.

Yelp
Wow, has this place gone downhill. The menu is smaller and the food was average to mediocre. Our first table was wobbly and so we had to switch, and we got a bit of an attitude, despite it being fairly empty. They were out of one item we wanted, and we almost left. Wish we had, as we would have been spared some of the worst pulled pork I've had in some time. The restaurant itself was clean, but in need of a sprucing up. As with last time, the game room was closed for a private event.

Liz B.

Yelp
Enjoyed the experience immensely. In great due part to our server, Daniel who ensured we were greeted, seated and taken care of during our time at Route 66 Smokehouse. He made us feel at home, recommended items from the menu and was very cordial. Will return/recommend!

Rogelio R.

Yelp
The outdoor ambiance is enjoyable. Food was solid and good customer service. The waiting staff were friendly.

Chris B.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a group of 10 and sat in one of their outdoor bubbles. Simply said it was the worst service I've ever received in NYC. Honestly, it was laughably bad to the point we thought we were being pranked. The servers were so rude to us the entire time and we had to go inside 4-5 times to ask for napkins, cutlery, plates, food, drinks, and everything else since they never stopped by our table. The food was also not very good, but that was not the downfall of this place. I am shocked that they are still open and paying rent in a prime spot on Stone Street. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. *end of rant*

Melissa S.

Yelp
Food was good. Drinks were great. Service was on point. This place is where you get to place various games with friends or colleagues!!

Alexander S.

Yelp
I think I'm rating this high because of the ping pong table in the back of the second floor. Fun bar if you wanna pal around over some board games, drinking games or video games. Also, skee ball! One weird thing to look out for.. some games there are free. Some you pay. You might end up paying for a game that's offered for free. Buyer beware.

Monica L.

Yelp
Had lunch in the terrace and it was nice. We chose this place coz it was the only one with a good distance between tables. Given the Covid, better safe than sorry! Service was attentive and they offered paper menus which meant to be thrown after each use (but I didn't believe they did) and also virtual menu to scan from your phone. I liked my chicken sandwich, i mean, it was as expected! Side fries were bland. Good place to go but dont expect mind blowing food

Twin P.

Yelp
Awful and overpriced !!!!!! Good for a beer and a app. Very large and spacious . Choose another plCe

Karly K.

Yelp
Very lackluster meal with little to no flavor. Overpriced NYC fare and small portions. I will say the pulled pork and brisket were EXTREMELY tender and high quality, however flavorless. No sauce or seasonings which was much needed. Sauces provided on table were mediocre. Expected much more from a BBQ joint. Staff was slow and inattentive. Margaritas were awful - very sweet and small, no salt on rim. Nice beer selection and come in cute mason jars. I did dig the rustic, southern atmosphere but overall wouldn't bother eating here again.

Gissell M.

Yelp
If you're reading this get the nachos! They have the perfect amount of spice to satisfy your craving. Staff is helpful and food was delivered fast.

Denisha W.

Yelp
Bubble tents :) we loved them! We were super warm and the food was delicious. We started with the mulled cider and hot chocolate. SOOOO GOOD. Then we had the mixed salad with wings as an appetizer. Wings were spicy with good flavor, the salad dressing was delicious. Main course was the brisket sandwich! Meat was soooo tender and the slaw was good! Finished with the brownie that was delicious.

Steve R.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere, nice bar, food was average. Decent beer selection. Probably a better spot for drinks and snacks, especially when the weather is nice and you can hang outside. The smoked wings weren't great, not a great flavor on the sauce. The brisket was good, but not a huge portion. Mac N Cheese was good, but pretty average. All in all, most likely a one and done visit.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Probably would give 3.5 if that was an option. It was good, nothing over the top, but still good food. Cute atmosphere outside. Wings are a bit dry but tasty. I would go back, but it's not top on my list. Service was quick, staff was friendly. Ordering and payment was all done on an app on your own. Fries were good if you like shoestring style.

Genevieve T.

Yelp
Came here for a fun girls brunch on Saturday! Made a reservation and for the amount of people it was a minimum $50 spend for everyone. I didn't love that rule but understandable these days. We were able to reserve one of their bubbles which was so nice in the cold! Our waitress was so nice and accommodating especially for bottomless brunch! The food was pretty good and standard but nothing special. We ordered biscuits for the table which came nice and warm with honey butter. It was perfectly crisp on outside and fluffy on the inside. Not too dense which I like! Most of us ordered the biscuit egg sandwich and were pretty satisfied with it but pretty standard. My friend and I shared the pulled pork platter and it was good but not the best. I wish they gave us a little more pulled pork and it came with fries which were nice and crisp! This place is a great bottomless brunch spot to go with friends!

Milena H.

Yelp
They falsely advertised their prices, so be careful. They increased their food prices and didn't update their printed menu. I mean it's a few dollars so not a huge deal, but still. It's like saying I would like a pink balloon and getting a red balloon because it's "close enough." Like come on. Just communicate the price changes or charge the printed price. It's fair that way.

Jaida G.

Yelp
Came for drinks and food. Now I know for next time just to come for drinks. Theme is cool and so are the drinks but service isn't great nor is the food.

Amanda D.

Yelp
Our igloo table was waiting for our reservation with our name on it- very cool! Definitely try the Buffalo cauliflower it's delicious. The service was great too!

Nicole B.

Yelp
A bit delayed review as I came here back in January (2months ago) but I had to share my great experience. Stumbled upon this spot while walking around after touring the statute of liberty and I'm so happy we did! The bubbles they had set up were perfect during this pandemic! Super clean and following strict covid guidelines. Service was very friendly! Food was also great!

Joseph R.

Yelp
Lazy is a good way to describe this place. The tables were wobbly, glasses were chipped, service was slow, food was subpar, beer was warm. Everything about this place was mediocre. Not worth the money - go down the street to Ulysses or any other place you can get a seat.

Sasha B.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place after the restaurant we were looking for had apparently closed for good. Smokehouse is on a great block with a stretch of about 6 other restaurants in a cute little ally and they all have outdoor seating over pebbled streets. Its cute in appearance and ideal for after work drinks, which most of the crowd seemed to be there for. For appetizers we ordered the wings. Very meh. Not the worse I've had but for a Smokehouse I expected kick ass hickory style wings with explosive flavor. Tjia wasn't it. We ordered lemonades because we both have been sick and on meds so no liquor. Man, worse lemonade ever!! Like they legit made it with the cheapest lemon juice straight from the bottle. We had to have them returned, no exaggeration. Because we apparently hadn't picked up on the disappointing trend and were either too lazy to move or just slow....we placed yet another order. I had the veggie burger, he ordered some pulled meat version. I had sweet potato fries, him regular. Needless to say he took 2 bites and was done and try as I might I couldn't forge ahead. Overall the worse $56 bucks spent. Again we weren't even in the mood after a long day to reorder only to be disappointed again. If you're in the area, opt for a food truck or McDonald's instead of this place. Fyi, I don't do food trucks or McDonald's so you get the point.

Yelp
I was all set to have a big pulled pork sammy and a beer for lunch. I'm walking to Stone St, what a fun spot! Restaurants and bars on both sides of the alley all with one objective, to have a good time outside in a unique setting. I peek inside and it looks like a fun & inviting spot. A big bar with TVs, kinda dark and mysterious. What sold me was the music. It's party time up in here! I grab a stool and sit at the bar. I know, I know, Pork Clouds to start. I was all set to place that order but on the special list I noticed there was a Shishito pepper appetizer? I started with the peppers and was all set to order a Sliced Brisket sammy, maybe the Black Angus Burger? Fried Oyster Po' Boy? Shrimp and grits? Man, this menu seems off the chain. What I decided on was the soft shelled crab sandwich. Mmmm mm! This sandwich was a crabby delight, meaty and fresh tasting makes this a home run lunch hit. The Shishito peppers, they give you a bunch which is nice to share with friends. To have them solo, its a bit much. Pork clouds should have been ordered. This is a great spot in the FiDi to kick back, drink a few beers and have some good BBQ. Get your kicks, to the route 66 Smokehouse

Yelp
Great location and very big inside. Good place to get beer and hang out. The back beer garden is awesome that is shared with other bars nearby. The food is average BBQ at best. It makes Smokey Bones/ TGIF BBQ taste awesome!

Yelp
We went here with a group on a Friday night. We sat outside on Stone Street, so I can't speak for the inside service, but they weren't particularly busy outside. We ordered a round of beers and fries. We had anticipated a few more friends to join us and ended up leaving before they got there because the service was so poor. The waitress forgot our drinks, and then came out to check on another table before remembering. Our fries came out pretty quickly but they were pretty mediocre. Overall, I was pretty underwhelmed and we needed up moving down the street to Ulysses for our next round.

Yelp
From the outside in the ambience is right, the tables, the menu items, everything is well and great. Fully prepared for a grand smokehouse meal, and was utterly utterly dossapointed. Fried green tomatoes, sour, weird tasting. The dip, I'm most sure what it was, barely covered the flavor. Peel and eat shrimp, vinegar and water, with shrimp that has yet to be cleaned cooked in it. We chose the ribs, pulled pork and brisket for the pick 3. I took a bite of that rib and had a mouthful of fat completely. The amount of actual meat on the rib, was nothing compared to the amount of fat. Pulled porrk, also fatty, bone pieces in the pork, spent most of the time fishing through to not get any bones. The best part of any of this was the brisket. Juicy, finely sliced, and perfectly paired with the establishments bbq sauce. Due to a short lunch hour, I drifted from the bbq and we got the oyster po boy in hopes that something that I always enjoyed would be good, but no, the fries were so dry they were nearly inedible, and the oysters were coated the same way as the green tomatoes which also made these a failure. Everything about this experience was a mistake and no way we were the only ones that had such a bad time. Nice place, good service, poor food. Where I believed it could not be worse, my girlfriend fell ill, and neither of us want bbq again anytime soon.

Yelp
A great find while walking all over Manhattan. We had a very good burger at the bar. The service was good. There were plenty of tvs to catch all the games.
