We arrived a little earlier than our reservation time and waited while sipping wine at the bar on the 43rd floor. When your reservation time arrives, you will be guided to the 45th floor. We will eat four types of appetizers that are easy to eat in one bite and move on. All the appetizers were delicious. The dishes using Satsuma beef seemed a little heavy on the fat. As for the soba, I didn't think it was tasty at all. There were few other memorable dishes, and I was a little disappointed as it was different from my previous memories of delicious food. The menu changes from time to time, so that's unavoidable. We move to another beautiful room for dessert. You can choose your favorite chocolate or macaron from the dessert wagon and take it home. It would be nice to come here on a special occasion.

I had the most fun night of my life so far in Dubai. Taking me through a culinary journey inspired by Japan and the UK. ROW on 45 takes hospitality and excellence to the next level. I’m a regular solo eater, but the whole time I felt so entertained, zero distractions from the outside world and so connected to each and every one of the team at ROW on 45. The attention to detail is crazy. I don’t want to spoil the surprises for you but you have to try this, you won’t regret it!

Row on 45 (⭐️⭐️) - Dubai. These were Michelin Star 19 and 20 for 2025. As such they were not only the last stars of 2025 but also the highest stars of the year. Row on 45 is not only some fancy words but they stand for ‘Refinement of Work‘ (ROW) presented on the 45th floor of the Grosvenor House in Dubai. Already on entering you feel the vibe and you get a taste of what you are about to experience in new dimension of commitment. 2 stars on the Michelin Sky are sort of a guaranty of a culinary artful evening, but commitment is what makes it extraordinary. From the minute we entered we were literally taken on a journey through heaven, accompanied with incredible taste and cosy hospitality. 10 of the 20 stars in 2025 were contributed by 2star restaurants in Athens, Paris, Lyon, Frankfurt and now Dubai. For a long time Delta in Athens was my favourite, but on the last mile ‘Row on 45’ beat everybody in the race. My favourite 2 star restaurant in 2025 in „Overall experience“ Row on 45. Thank you guys. You made this year special! 😘

✨ A truly unforgettable solo evening at Row on 45 ✨ The experience began in the Champagne Room, where the atmosphere already set the tone for something extraordinary. From there, I was guided into the Dining Room, and as I entered, the head waiter said, “Team, welcome our guest!” The entire team responded in perfect unison with a warm “Welcome!” Such a simple gesture, yet so powerful a moment that instantly made me feel truly special. What followed was a culinary journey filled with art, precision and emotion. Every course was executed to perfection, from the delicate oyster to the perfectly cooked Wagyu and the beautifully crafted petit fours. Each dish was a perfect balance of creativity, flavor and presentation. The service was exceptional, warm, attentive and genuine throughout the evening. I loved the idea of moving through three different rooms starting in the Champagne Room, continuing in the Dining Room and ending the night in the intimate Chef’s Library. Each space had its own atmosphere and added a unique touch to the experience.

I visited a restaurant that ranked 41st in the Middle East in the World’s Best Restaurants 2024 list. One of its defining features is the use of Japanese ingredients in its cuisine. When making a reservation, a deposit of 500 AED per person is required, and the course menu is priced at 1,445 AED per person. As for the food, everything was carefully prepared, but the overall impression was that it was “fairly good” rather than outstanding. Instead of having many dishes that strongly stood out or left a lasting impression, the course felt more consistent and stable in quality. On the other hand, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the design of the space. The bar where guests are guided to spend some waiting time before being seated also offered a nice view, which made the pre-dinner experience enjoyable. Overall, this restaurant seems more suitable for those who value ambiance and the overall dining experience rather than focusing solely on the food itself.

Even among Michelin-recognised restaurants, this one really stands out. Every course was a pleasure, perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The Kutchan 540 potato was an absolute highlight — simple, yet unforgettable. Warm, genuine service, a relaxed atmosphere and a cosy interior made the whole experience feel effortless and truly special!

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. I've eaten at Core in London, The Connaught, LAB in Penha Longa, 50 seconds in Lisbon, Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester among many many others. I loved the ambience of Row on 45, the staff were all EXCEPTIONAL. I loved the fact that the chefs served and explained each dish to us. The kitchen ran like silent clockwork with everyone knowing what to do, almost like they were operating psychically! The fact that most of the ingredients came directly from Japan and were cooked so perfectly made it so special. Honestly I can't fault this meal in any way and will enjoy coming back in the future. Thanks for making our first trip to Dubai so memorable and keep up the great work. Surely the third star can't be far away....
