I went here for a date and had a great time! The drinks were all good, the place is lovely and clean and very spacious. It doesn't get too noisy that you can't hear the person you're talking to and that car is beautiful. Would definitely return!

Hung out for three hours last night at a beautiful open window table! The cocktails were unique and absolutely as delicious as they were pretty. Dirty Dancing was playing on the projector in the background! 10.10! 💗

Dare I say... I had the best drink of my life at Roxanne's: In Tokyo. So rich, so flavorful. An inspiration for self-indulgence. I ordered 3, and it will be THE first nightlife stop one all subsequent return trips. The smoke show and the fried cheese were also incredible.

Late solo arrival after midnight. Ordered the Smokeshow and presentation was great with the cinnamon powder garnish. The cocktail was well balanced and the right flavor profile. Server never mentioned her name or anything other than asking for my order, and was mostly on her phone during service. Only asked if I wanted another drink prior to last call. Never asked how the drink was or if I wanted another once it was low. Water never refilled, although was provided almost immediately when I sat at the bar. Then I ordered the Please…I’m a star and was very pleased with this cocktail and presentation. Maybe a garnish would take it over the top but it was good and I enjoyed it. Maybe service would’ve been better if I came earlier. I’ll give it another shot on a different night.

modern bar. looks cool, but if you look closely at the details, you can see small flaws, somewhere a sofa is a little torn, or a stain on the wall. the bar itself is also beautiful, the chairs are comfortable, drinks 6.5/10. the price does not match the taste. the first seats at the entrance near the bar are a little uncomfortable, as people often come and go. you feel the fuss behind you. unfortunately, when we came these were the best places to relax. after a couple of cocktails and after 11, this minus is no longer drained. 4 stars with a big stretch.

Place looks amazing, with a great bar. The food does not live up to the atmosphere. Music gets way too loud in the evening.

Very small place, it’s a chic interior design. Definitely want to get a reservation if you want to just hang out for a drink. The drinks are nicely crafted, but the food is all right. It’s nothing special or out of the ordinary. they do check IDs before you enter so beware of that. and the host typically stands right in the center of the column, which was like kind of awkward.

i’ve been wanting to come here for the longest time and it met my expectations! the cocktails were fun and tasted good, although i wasn’t a fan of the for the girls drink — it was too sweet. the small plates are good to share and for a little snack, definitely not s meal. it’s very cute and colorful inside which i loved. definitely a place for the girls!

The Love in Tokyo cocktail was very sweet and creamy, at the cost of the matcha taste. First sip (even after mixing) was heavy on the vodka, but this gets less overpowering as you continue to sip and let the ice melt to dilute it. Unfortunately, despite the sprinkling of matcha on top and the pleasant light green color of the cocktail, there was minimal matcha flavor in it. I was rather disappointed by how overwhelmingly cream-forward the taste was. However, this and many other cocktails are very pretty. If you're looking for a place with drinks that are more for the show or aesthetics, then this would probably be a good choice. The place was fairly accommodating of our large-ish party (~11 people)- it probably helped that we went on a Wednesday night when they were pretty much empty. They just let us sit in the corner and pull up chairs. Service was rather minimal and lackluster.

While we were in Boston for a vacation my husband wanted to seek out a unique bar for some late night drinks and we decided to try Roxanne's. They seemed very impressed with themselves and not very friendly imo. My husband and I enjoyed our drinks, however. He got an old fashioned and another drink I cant quite remember the name of. I asked for something similar to a sangria and it was very good whatever it was- but when i asked for another the next bartender had no idea how to replicate it. Prices were a little steep, but it was in the city so I am not surprised.

This is such a cute cocktail bar! The Tokyo drink was amazing and just the right amount of matcha and booze. Also the music had some BANGERS like think Aly and AJ potential breakup song. Loved the service!

This bar has a fun vibe with some good drinks. It's a bit empty earlier in the night so plan to go a bit later after 10ish if you would like a livelier night. We both ended up getting the 'For the Girls' drink. It was strong, fruity, and very sweet. We also got a plate of their potato wedges - it tasted like the frozen kind from the supermarket, but made for good bar food after a few drinks.

I LOVED the February/Valentines cocktails I drank at Roxanne's! I wasn't sure how I'd like an alcoholic matcha but the "in Tokyo" was so creamy and delicious. I also had the "sugar cookie latte" which tasted as scrumptious as it sounds. The cocktails were pretty reasonably priced for Boston ($12-16). The music was kind of silly and went in and out of being super loud/dancy to slow/quieter, which fit the Saturday night ambiance of half people huddled around the bar and a few with reserved seating. The bartenders were super sweet and the hosting staff even fit my friend and I into a booth without a res which was so nice! Would come back for a girls night for sure :)

Love their cocktails!!! They were so unique and delicious. Went here for a girls night and majority of us literally ordered a drink called For the Girls. It was a hit!

Had to try the spot while in Boston for a show since that's my name! We went right when they opened, wish I could've gone later in the evening for a full experience, no complaints though. Cool vibe.

Roxanne's is a very fun cocktail bar with a cute but small menu. The menu does change regularly, so if you fall in love with a drink there- go often before it's gone! I recommend making reservations before going on an evening or weekend. They do limit your time here which is a bummer but it a way that more people can enjoy and try the place. The service is alright, nothing too crazy. When they get busy, you will be forgotten about but it's a busy cocktail bar, can't hold them to it. The decor is amazing, girly, cutesy!! It's always a must to take a photo in their bathroom mirror, best lighting around. I love Roxanne's!

Roxanne's is the most adorable cocktail bar, and great for girl's night (or a date)! The drinks are great, and the drink menu is curated with care from what I could tell. I have also been for dinner, and although service was slightly disappointing, the apps we shared completely made up for it. Overall such a fun little spot for a night out!

A fun cocktail bar in Boston! Stopped by for a couple drinks after dinner on a Friday and it was pretty busy inside. They were decorated for Halloween which was fun. We ordered a couple of drinks and they had some very unique ones. I got their take on a dirty martini and it was very interesting! The caper brine instead of olive brine was unique. My SO got their mezcal espresso martini and he loved it. Would recommend for a fun cocktail or two!

I really wanted to love this place but overall, I was a little disappointed with the food and cocktails. The place has a nice atmosphere. However, the cocktails felt really watered down and the potato wedges were just okay (like something you could make at home on a lazy day). I still enjoyed my time here but will probably go elsewhere for cocktails in the future.

A couple years ago Roxannes did away with the grilled cheese and mac and cheese, and that was the time i stopped going PLEASE bring it back i dont want shrimp and peppers i want 3 different modalities of cheese

I went here for a Friday night drink and had a great time. We were able to stand near the bar area and order our drinks from there. I got the "for the girls" drink which was pink and beautifully garnished with dried flower petals. The bartender seamlessly accommodated my friends request for a mocktail and made a beautiful custom creation for her as well. Overall I loved the vibe in here for a girls night and would come back.

I celebrated my birthday at Roxanne's this past February. The vibe is just so cute and girly pop. I was so excited to be with my friends in such a cute place. They were playing the best music I could've asked for from Beyoncé to rap to pop. We luckily got to snag some seats in the back and spent the whole night laughing and drinking. The drinks are definitely on the pricey side, but that's Boston for you. I would definitely come back and celebrate another special event here!!

I came across this place on Yelp when trying to locate somewhere for drinks. It was about half full on a Saturday afternoon with a good amount of the other tables previously reserved. Fortunately there were two seats a the bar which was much better than the seats facing the wall where the hostess had place us initially. I tried their Fortune teller while my friend got a burger medium well and a ginger beer mock tail. The bartender made refreshing and easy to sip on cocktails. Burger and steak fries did the job as stated by my friend. Overall, I had a good experience in a youthful and lively environment. The whole bar was flooded with people by the time we left around 9 pm. Staff were friendly and prompt with completing our requests. Would come again.

Such a cute place with great cocktails and snacks! The place is so eclectic inside and has neon signs everywhere. Went with a party of 7 on a Friday night. Our server was super accommodating and kind. We got a ton of snacks: the shishito peppers, fried goat cheese (my fav), and fries. All very tasty! For drinks I got the naked and instafamous and the staycation. Both so good! I'd definitely come again with friends for both the drinks and snacks.

I came to Roxanne's to celebrate a few friends on a Friday night. We made a reservation and were given a nice comfy booth and were immediately met with waters for the table! We all ordered different specialty drinks, but especially enjoyed the Green Light! We ended up staying for a second round, all enjoying the espresso martinis which were delicious. The music was loud but fun bops played which my girls and I loved!! Will be back.

Roxannes is a neat cocktail bar, with lots of flamingos and neon lights, making for a fun evening cocktail spot! We got 2 rounds of drinks and some bites to share. I really enjoyed all of the cocktails (of course I had to try a sip of my friend's!) and would say my favorite was the Wake Up Call. We also got some food, which was a bit underwhelming. While I really liked the bacon Brussel sprouts, the Mac and cheese was a miss (not much flavor, watery). That said, this place really seems to be known for cocktails, which they do very well. Service was okay, and there's a 90 minute limit on tables so you cant linger too much. All in all, I would recommend Roxannes for the cocktails and atmosphere.

This place is worth the visit! Some of the best tasting cocktails that I've tried in a long time. The bar is in a busy corner of the city, but when you sit down at the bar that all goes away for the time being. The Love in Tokyo was unbelievable as it tastes like the best dessert you can get your hands on. Definitely need to come back for another one. Naked and Instafamous was a great variation of the classic, "Naked and Famous." The popular choice seemed to be the Fortune Teller and I'm disappointed in myself for not getting one to try. I'll just have to make sure I get back here to try it in the not so distant future. We also tried the Charred Brussel Sprouts, which were very tasty, just wish they were a bit more crispy.

Overall: being told to avoid the food, our group got 2 superb round of drinks. Very unique location that blends noir with contemporary design. Great place for a casual date setting! Drinks: the matcha cocktail (literally the first option) is the highlight of this establishment. Even if this matcha latte was virgin it would still be stellar on its own. Perfect level of creaminess and just the right tint of green. Then you consider that it has a bit of alcohol of which you can't taste and then it's possibly the best drink offered. The fortune teller is your very typical gin based drink that's very light in flavor but very strong in abv. This is a drink that will transport you to the tropics of Southeast Asia. The wake up call might be one of the best espresso martinis I've had but mostly because it's not extremely bitter. The drink is closer to a cold brew latte rather than a true espresso. Lastly the side chick is the go to tropical drink (my kind of drink) that is loaded with fruit and floral blends. Ambience/Decor/Service: service was a little below par as our waitress was a little bit rough around the edges but totally understandable as she mightve been having a rough evening. Decor and ambience is very tucked in speakeasy esq.

We came here for a quick drink while waiting for our reservation at Yvonne and other guests to arrive. The place was empty, but probably before Thanksgiving. The drinks are okay, but they taste light and watery, and their fries must be ordered. It is an excellent place to hangout just for a quick drink, but the high tables are uncomfortable.

PROS: Very nice pink light up bar. The drinks were good according to my friends and the place was jumping. Music was good and the bartenders and bouncer were nice CONS: The parking was scarce street parking while one of the waitresses had a bad attitude. Also, the bartenders take forever to make your drink OVERALL: I would definitely come back to this place, and when I do I know who to speak with and who not to speak with

Before my trip to Boston, Roxanne's was recommended to me, so I decided to stop in for a round of pre-dinner drinks in the early evening. The ambiance of the place is fun and eclectic, which is part of what really sets it apart from other places in the area. Despite arriving on the early side, it was already getting busy - highly recommend making reservations before visiting. I ordered the Journey-Work and my friend ordered in Tokyo. Both drinks were delicious! They each had their own unique flavor, and it tasted like they put a lot of effort into designing their specialty drinks. You won't find the exact same drinks anywhere else, making it a special experience to try them. Highly recommend making a trip here!

Curated cocktails are a must. Good beer selection if you like local beers. Fun atmosphere with a modern vibe. Friendly staff. Chill place to hang out to get out of the cold.

Went in for a quick drink. They were pretty full so we stood at the bar however just wanted to grab one drink before heading to the next place. I got an espresso martini and it was delicious. Check out how cool that art on top was! The ambiance was warm welcoming and so inviting! Definitely recommend

I've been wanting to visit Roxanne's for ages and my experience here did not disappoint! I made a reservation here to get drinks to celebrate my friend's 21st birthday. We went on a Tuesday evening but it was still rather hectic on a weekday! If you're interested in going here, I definitely recommend making a reservation far in advance since the place is small and gets packed rather quickly. Perhaps it was because I noted we were celebrating a friend's 21st birthday, but the drinks were STRONG. Although strong, they were great drinks that were super tasty and aesthetic. The decor and cute drinks made this place perfect for Instagram photos. My friends had the Fortune Teller, The Side Chick, and The Staycation. I personally ended up getting Love in Tokyo and ended up pleasantly surprised. With Love in Tokyo, I was at first concerned about the matcha being too bitter and not going well with the vodka, but it was actually sweet matcha! This was my favorite drink of the night because the matcha and the vanilla + sweet cream were amazing and very tasty. The Side Chick and Staycation were both fairly refreshing but not too sweet. The Fortune Teller was easily the most fun drink. It comes with a foam bubble that resembles a crystal ball! I thought it tasted pretty good as well, but not as good as the other drinks. Overall, their cocktails are pretty reasonably priced for the Boston area (some of the cheapest I've seen) and are solid in terms of taste. Since the drinks were so strong, we actually ended up getting some food to balance it out. We LOVE the Fried Goat Cheese!! If you come to Roxanne's... you have to get the Fried Goat Cheese. We ended up getting some TO-GO because that's how good it was. The honey drizzle with the crispy panko-covered goat cheese balls was delicious. We savored every single bite. The fries are also pretty good, we liked the sauces that were drizzled over the fries. The buffalo cauliflower bites were a little too soggy, but still pretty decent. Lastly, we got the shishito peppers which were also pretty good, but the aioli really elevated their taste of them. I'm excited to visit Roxanne's again to try more of their food and drinks! (FYI, parking here is nearly impossible to find unless you park a bit far and walk. You can also pay unreasonable prices for garage parking).

I was really excited to come since I heard great things. This is a cute and hip cocktail bar with an interesting mix of drinks. They have a cocktail menu with about 10 drinks along with a good selection of beers and wines They do not have a full dinner menu but delicious bar bites. I have to knock it two stars because it was really hot inside... no AC on a 90 degree day. There also was not enough wait staff just the one hostess for the entire place. And the seating was really uncomfortable... really low chairs and chairs with spikey cracking leather

Read as 3.5 stars. I was excited to experience Roxanne's. Very cool lounge vibe that can accommodate larger crowds and interesting cocktail menu. Drinks off the menu were solid. Started with the Journey Work - was intrigued by the Whiskey and Egg white combo and it didn't disappoint. Where things started to get a bit awry was when I asked for a drink that was featured on the top shelf - we were told we could have one of them but the others were not being served - I will let you ponder that one. Apps were average. Cauliflower buffalo bites were just ok, fried goat cheese on the other hand was great. Overall was a bit underwhelmed by the whole experience.

Drinks were ok. We got a couple of signature cocktails, and they were average at best. They were definitely signature, but we didn't find them refreshing. Service was fast and quick but impersonal. We didn't have to wait around for our check, but they definitely didn't greet us with a smile, recommend anything or make any connection. It was just a business, which was cool. The aesthetics of this place were exceptional. The inside was top tier. The music was also on point. It was a busy time, and crowded but I still felt like we had space to breath.

Loved this bar! Arrived here after a very disappointing experience across the street and had the best time. The bathroom is cool, the bartenders were awesome, great decor and the best espresso martini I have ever had! Definitely stop by and check this spot out.

I came here with a friend after having seen Roxane's on a lot of cocktail bar lists. We had a reservation and had to hang around for a while before any staff noticed that we were waiting. The drinks are a bit lower priced than other cocktail bars in the area, which was nice. That said, we both tried a few different cocktails, like the Staycation. I was intrigued by the butterfly pea flower infused tequila (because clearly!) but found the drink to be overpoweringly sweet. Like, REALLY sweet. That was the case for both of us with all the drinks we tried--actually too sweet for me to finish, even for some cocktails that seemed, based on the ingredients list, like they would lean on the more robust or less sweet side. On the bright side, I was famished and the House Burger was just what I needed. But overall, I'm really not a super sweet drink kind of person, so I don't think I'll be returning to Roxane's for drinks.

Really cool vibe, there were many people taking pictures by their LED sign in the back (see pic). I got the love in Tokyo and was very pleased with it! The matcha flavor was strong but not overpowering, would recommend :) My friends ordered the fortune teller but they were not impressed with it

Bar tender is amazing. I'm pregnant so he made me delicious mocktails and provided some on the house -- great service. My husband tried some cocktails and also thought they were amazing. Fun vibe. Parmesean fries are excellent and cheap. This is our new favorite bar in Boston.

My first (non)interaction with Roxanne's was trying to make a reservation yesterday on their website for drinks last night (a Sat night). Right when I go to put in my credit card info in, I would get an error that says there is a technical issue and to try again later. I tried several times and it never worked. There is no phone number to call on their website, only an email address. I emailed them, I messaged them directly through their website and I messaged them on instagram and didn't hear back from them in any form. We came in at 9:30pm and were seated right away in the booth, which I didn't like because it's pretty closed off from the rest of the bar. If you do come here, I suggest requesting a seat at the bar if you are 2 people or on the raised platform behind the main bar if you have more people. I typically order a Tom Collins or a Corpse Reviver #2 at a cocktail bar to test them out. This time I got a Corpse Revivier #2 and it was disgusting. I couldn't drink it and they were nice and switched it out. So I went with something on their list, the Naked and Instafamous. I didn't like the taste of it with their well tequila (someone else with me ordered it) so I replaced it with Don Julio and it was alot better. The drink was decent but not great. Overall, I think this place is more about the insta pics than the drinks.

Always wanted to visit here. It's pretty much everywhere on the Boston insta scenes. Love their portraits. Went here for a Friday night with friends without a reservation. We wound up at the bar and ended up ordering cocktails and fries and cauliflowers. Good for cocktails!! Loved their food and desserts too. Fortune teller was fun. Loved the service. We missed clicking a pic before the bubble popped and the waitress was kind enough to do it again twice for us. Would recommend reserving and street parking on the parallel street.

I am disappointed after my first visit to Roxanne's. To start. The food here does not fit the vibe. A cute cocktail bar with beautiful drinks serving less than mediocre burgers, wings, and hummus is quite strange and disappointing. Do not waste your time ordering food here. (The carrots that came with our hummus were so slimy they were not edible) The drinks are great (they add a star to this review)! I tried many different ones and had no complaints. The service was not good and hostess was not friendly. Unfortunately I would not come back or recommend Roxanne's to anyone.

Good place to go if you're just looking to grab drinks, catch up with a friend, or date night. They have good cocktails. The prices are also decently affordable. Personal favorite is the matcha Tokyo drink and the truffle fries.

I came here with my boy Josh who I met at my sister's semi-formal (see my review of The Fourth Wall for additional background context). He was like "oh I know a great cocktail bar" and I was like word I am a yes man and will gladly accompany you to a place named after a song by The Police. No red lights here. Sorry had to say it. The cocktails here RULE. We had the That'll Do Fig and then the Journey Work. SO good. Idk the ingredients but I feel so good. Claudia was our bartender and she's an absolute artist/artisan. She literally cannot miss tonight. My friend Josh said she's here when he comes in so this is likely not a fluke: she's the real god damn deal. I may actually move to Boston in the next year or so; I will come back once a week if that does happen. Everyone who sat near us when we got here has left while I've been drafting this review but I'm chalking that up to it being a Monday night. Surely this has nothing to do with me. It might have something to do with Josh. Regardless, come to Roxanne's. It slaps.

Super cute bar/lounge perfect for a friend night out. I loved that the bites they had to choose from were so reasonably priced that we could get a few different things, and they had options for vegetarians. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower (highly recommend), brussels sprouts, fries, and wings. I was the only vegetarian of the group, but they were able to put the bacon and aioli on the side for the brussels. We all loved our drinks (I got the staycation and would def recommend). Not to mention, the music was great and at a perfect volume so that we didn't need to yell. We had a reservation and I'm glad we did because it definitely started filling up quickly toward the end of the night. Service was good and I will definitely come back to take friends here for a drink and some bites.

My friend and I came on a Friday evening for some drinks! All of the seats were full when we arrived, luckily we were able to snag a table for an hour before it was needed for another reservation - I recommend getting a reservation if you want to come here. I ordered the pink flamingo and my friend ordered the fortune teller. Both drinks were very aesthetically pleasing, but neither of us were particularly impressed with either of the drinks. My friend complained that the fortune teller had this "soapy" taste, and I agreed after taking a sip. I thought the pink flamingo was pretty bitter and not as fruity/sweet as I was expecting based off of other Yelp reviews. I literally poured half of my drink into my friend's glass after she finished hers (since her drink was so puny) because I couldn't stand the taste and I didn't want to waste it. Looking at the drinks menu, nothing else really interested me either. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, we had an okay experience with our drinks. We agreed that we won't be back again, and that this was purely for an aesthetic experience.

Are you looking for the perfect Instagram place for a quick drink, date, or ladies' night? Look no further than Roxanne's! The retro cocktail lounge has fun, different tropical wallpaper covering each inch of the walls. The tropical paradise is complete with pink flamingos, parrots, and pineapples decorating the inside. The drinks were delicious and well made. The bartender is attentive and helpful if you're looking for something creative off the menu. Overall, the staff was great and quick with any request we had. I had the Fever Dream and the Staycation and would highly recommend both drinks. The food menu is bar snacks, but they are large portions and filling. We immensely enjoyed the Charred Brussel Sprouts and Buffalo Cauliflower Bites.

OMG this is the best date place ever in Boston. I highly recommend everyone go here! The immediate vibe of the restaurant is romantic with the seating and lighting. It's cute and the drinks are amazing. We got the matcha alcoholic drink that was truly some of the best matcha I've had too - it was creamy and not too sweet and the matcha flavor was balanced. I also recommend getting the fried goat cheese bites and the shishito peppers as an appetizer. The goat cheese bites are tangy, sweet and spicy with a spicy honey drizzled on top. It's the perfect combination with the matcha cocktail.

We came here for after show drinks on a Thursday, although our wait time was quoted at 1hr for a table, we snagged bar seats and then within 10min were brought to a table. Pleasant surprise! Howwwwwever. The drinks were more pretty than delicious, and we got the most abysmal $13 bowl of Mac and cheese served to our table. It was more like Mac and Milk, it was literally plain noodles in what seemed to be 1% milk and a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top. Given that the kitchen was now closed after we received our order, we didn't want to send it back. The French fries slapped tho!!! Nice crispy wedges. The atmosphere was nicer than the quality of food or drink, so not sure that we will back!

Popped in for drinks on a Friday evening. The drinks were delicious and prepared with great care. We got the deja brew and the "I'm the Problem" which were both delightful. Highly recommend
