"Pizza is a very passionate subject. Especially in this city, where there’s the constant question of deep dish or thin crust, people will do crazy things to protect their true pizza emotions. And that’s why Roxie’s By The Slice is a bit of an anomaly, because it doesn’t elicit any strong feelings. It’s a simple concept - pick white or red, a few toppings, and an entire pie or by the slice. You’ll eat it. You’ll be cool with it (it’s pizza after all). But you’ll shrug your shoulders and say yeah, sure, that was sort of fun. It’s kind of like the pizza equivalent of the girlfriend or boyfriend you semi broke up with. The one who you don’t mind being around and occasionally do the no pants dance with, but who will never be anything more than that in your life. In fact, there are a lot of similarities. Does that semi-broken up with significant other like to stay out late and party, which is why you often tend to “meet up?” Well, Roxie’s is the same way, because other than Sundays, it’s open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. You can come in for a quickie, or drag things out over a well-tailored beer menu and $3 bourbon shots. Does that semi-broken up with significant other look great in a bathing suit? Roxie’s has a lovely patio. It looks great when the sun’s out, and it’s definitely a place you could hang over some pizza and beers. Does that semi-broken up with significant other like to post up on the couch when it’s freezing cold too, maybe throw on some sweatpants and fire up the Netflix with two bottles of wine? Roxie’s has a cute and cozy inside. It’s a weirdly successful combination of tiny, yet lively. You’ll be in the midst of people there for different reasons, ranging from a fast solo bite to those hanging out with a group eating pizza and drinking beer. Is that semi-broken up with significant other easy going? Of course they are. The staff at Roxie’s is pretty cool and hip too. They’re extremely friendly, and you can help yourself to as many little sides of ranch and giardiniera that are prepackaged in an old fridge as you please. Do you love that semi-broken up with significant other? Of course not. And you probably don’t love Roxie’s either, because even though a list of facts tells your head that Roxie's is The One, your heart will continue to search for true pizza love. Food Rundown Pizza Decision making at Roxie's is pretty limited. A basic slice runs $4.50 with the option of red or white, and each topping is $1 extra, which is a knock against Roxie's because the price starts to add up. You can also get a whole pizza for $18. Toppings include pepperoni, prosciutto, sopressata, anchovies, arugula, sweet peppers, olives, and mushrooms. The crust is in the spirit of thin crust slice pizza, but slightly doughier and with a more risen base. The bottom still remains crunchy though, and the mix of crispiness on the bottom with a doughy inside is our favorite part. A single slice is pretty big, and two should definitely do the trick. Red Pizza We are convinced the sauces are what give Roxie’s such an uninspiring feel. They are definitely different. The red sauce has a unique taste to it that doesn’t just blend in. The spices and tomatoes stick out, but not necessarily in a great way. Our favorite toppings for a red sauce slice are either pepperoni, mushrooms, or sweet peppers, the last of which is really sweet and good. White Pizza The white sauce is almost like a béchamel - there’s a bit of a creaminess to it. We aren’t huge white pizza fans in general, but this style of sauce means we would limit ourselves to only one white pizza slice here at the most. Arugula and prosciutto would be our white move." - Sam Faye

Google
Nice selection of beer, great atmosphere, good pricing and the pizza is great! I'd say it's more in between a thin crust and pan pizza, with a good crust. You are not overwhelmed with toppings, and can choose between classics like pepperoni and more "crafty" ones like prosciutto. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly!

Google
The standalone should get a huge boost now that the 606 is up and running. I really like the crust on the pizza, which is in between thin crust and pan. They have a wide beer selection and are open late... but as a result have limited earlier hours

Adrian Kobziar

Google
Good pizza, great atmosphere/vibe, and a nice staff. If you're looking for something low key and delicious that's open late this is the place. They also have a good beer selection and $3 shots of whiskey.

Google
The pizza comes to you burnt. There's not enough sauce and not enough cheese and too much crust. For some reason the slice I got had been run through a couple of times with the cutter, so the thing fell apart in my hands. Bland, burnt, overpriced. There are other options (better) options nearby. I won't name them, you can figure it out for yourself.

Google
Great pizza and beer. The staff is incredibly friendly.

Yelp
I had to check out one of these locations while on a short visit to Chicago. After hearing these burgers get highly rated by locals year after year, I had to give it a try, and I was not disappointed. I went for the house specialty Double Burger with fries. The burger was simple but very flavorful at the same time. All the ingredients together make it delicious, from the bun, the well seasoned meat, to the pickles a special sauce. The fries were also amazing and tasted like they were fried in beef tallow and sprinkled with truffle salt. We were lucky it was a nice spring day and temps were in the 80's to enjoy our lunch on the spacious patio. Parking can be a challenge, but when is that not a thing in Chicago. Something I am not used to after living in the desert for so long. Enjoy!!

Yelp
Tried out Small Cheval after hearing all the hype, and the burger was nothing special to write about. If you're looking for a juicy burger, this is definitely not your place. The patties were under seasoned and incredible dry to the bone. Every bite was dense and monotone, even the bacon couldn't bring it to life. I do love a good height on a burger and Small Cheval did just that. I appreciate the golden fries, the garlic aioli, and the perfect outdoor benches where I can enjoy the lovely weather. But other than that, I honestly just paid a lot for a burger that only looked well composed, is this really one your best burger Chicago?

Andrew P.

Yelp
Streamlined local burger chain. We drove here to grab some protein after having a day in town and parked a few skips away. Unfortunately the seating is not designed for the winter and is outside. There are umbrellas for the rain, but the heaters were dysfunctional and made for a very chilly dining experience. Double Cheeseburger: classic meaty cheesy goodness. Tasted amazing! The buns, the melted cheese, griddle burgers were cooked to perfection: no complaints. Concrete - Coffee Toffee Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. Sugary dairy goodness. Shake over soda any day. I think the food is delish, but this location is not geared for inclement weather.

Yelp
The Small Cheval family has created a small bougie burger brat out of my 9 year old daughter. Where most kids would beg their parents for McDonalds, my 9 years old says " oooh Small Cheval" the second someone mentions wanting a burger. " Oh your kid likes shamrock shakes? Sorry we don't know her "-(Mariah Carey voice and an eye roll) only the finest, fresh, quality shakes touch these puckers. The fries! Get the fries! Not without the garlic aioli sauce, though! My fridge is usually stocked with a few left overs of the aioli , it's so good! Seriously though, best burgers in town.

Simon P.

Yelp
Delicious and simple! Small Cheval boasts an impressive reputation from its older brother, Au Cheval, and it lives up to the expectations. Everything was just really solid. The burger patty was seasoned notably well and had an actual flavor profile (compared to most burgers these days). The fries were everything you could ask for - salty, crispy and hot. The garlic aioli is a MUST. Service was quick and friendly. Short and sweet review for a short and sweet stop at a great burger joint.

Katherine K.

Yelp
Treating this like a fast food burger, it would be top tier. Saying it's the same as Au Cheval, I don't think so. For what you're paying for and what you get, I would say it's worth the price. It's not a high-end burger whatsoever, but not all burgers have to be in order to be tasty. Sometimes it's nice just to have a simple burger.

Deadly V.

Yelp
Everything about this place was amazing, from the service, to the ambiance, and the food. The burger was one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. The bun was so soft, yet toasted. The cashier was extremely friendly and he was super helpful. Loved the outdoor seating as it was a really nice day out. Will definitely come back here again

Margaret P.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check out Small Cheval since we loved Au Cheval so much last time we were in Chicago, so I'm happy this time around we were able to try it. This is considered more of a fast casual shop with tons of outdoor seating. We ordered the double cheeseburger, some fries, and the chicken tenders. Everything knocked it out of the ballpark. Dare I say that the best fries I've ever had is here -- cause I really think they might just be the best fries. The burger and chicken tenders were also so delicious. I'd def recommend for anyone in the mood for a burger, chicken, and or fries!

Jillian B.

Yelp
Awesome smash burgers - I had been to the Au Cheval in NYC multiple times and was hoping to try small cheval during my recent trip to Chicago. I liked it so much after the first time, we ended up ordering a second time during our trip! The quality of the meat was really good - both the burger patty itself and also the bacon. We had also read really positive things about their chicken tenders, which were very flavorful and juicy!

Clayton M.

Yelp
This burger was incredible. Best burger we had in the city. One of the best meals. We went to a lot of Chicago's go-to tourist spots, and this was one of our favorite meals we had on our trip. Does everybody know about this place or is it a hidden gem? Burger has such good flavor. Cooked to perfection. Perfect size--you leave feeling full but not gross. Garlic aioli sauce on the side was NUTS! So good. Still thinking about it. Fries also were amazing. So glad we came! Definitely will be back someday.

S G.

Yelp
I don't get the hype at all! Well, except from people who like very meaty burgers. These burgers are not good to me, no real flavor, barely cooked, etc. The fries aren't good either. I'll stick to Salt for my burger fix! Also, there are a lot of flies during the summer. Got bit up yesterday

Vivian J.

Yelp
I love this place and always thought it had the best veggie burger. But it seems to have changed and isn't nearly as flavorful as before. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL VEGGIE BURGER!

Angela S.

Yelp
Legit place! Loved the gluten free chicken strips and hot honey sauce that you can add. Truffle cheese sauce was fantastic! Server was super helpful and answered our many questions, very knowledgeable about the ingredients, process and options! Outdoor seating is soo cool! Place inside is small with a well managed system. No indoor seating. And cashless facility!

Darren H.

Yelp
Small Cheval is part of the Au Cheval group. The Smalls carry on the burger and fries menu of the main restaurant, but in smaller places around the metro. We each got a single cheeseburger and shared some fresh cut fries that had the right amount of salt. Loved the garlic aioli that came with the fries. Burgers had lettuce, tomato and nice pickles with a tangy sauce. Most patties would have been overwhelmed by all that, but the seasoned beef in these patties came through nicely. I want a double next time.

Shannon O.

Yelp
I love Cheval's burgers, absolutely delicious! However, this location doesn't have any indoor seating, so you have to take your food to go in the cold months, which is a bummer! That said, It's a great place to hang out during the summer with their outdoor seating.

Ari K.

Yelp
It's fundamentally a perfect burger. Everything is seasoned well, the bun to cheese to burger ratio is perfect. The bun is excellent, the burger is wonderfully cooked and given a nice crust. Not sure it's worth all the hype as the "best burger in America" but it's very tasty and hits the spot if you're craving a burger

Tracy L.

Yelp
Been a couple times- quick and casual. The burgers cannot be compared to Au Cheval. They are smaller, more simplified versions of the Au Cheval burgers but good no less. I'm not a huge fan of hamburgers, so I find them a bit greasy. However, recently I learned Small Cheval has fried chicken burgers now! Whoo! I enjoyed the chicken far more.

Maikayeng V.

Yelp
Perfect casual warm-weather patio vibes near both Western (O'Hare branch) and Damen blue line stops. Delicious burgers, gorgeous fries, dipped ice cream cones that hit the spot, all for an affordable price. Lovely place to stop on a nice day for a beer and a bite as there is ample picnic table style seating and quaint overhead string lights that create a cozy patio atmosphere reminiscent of a family cookout for the community. They have heaters when it gets a bit chillier outside, extending the window of time to enjoy their patio. Definitely a neighborhood staple for me!

Lan N.

Yelp
We were in the neighborhood and we hadn't had lunch yet, so we stopped by here for a quick bite. It was pretty quick to get everything since we went around like 2-3pm. The burgers were good at the first couple of bites, but then I felt like it got a little too salty for me. We forgot to ask for lettuce and stuff, that probably would have helped with the saltiness. I had asked for extra pickles, and it was like 2 pieces, I should have just asked for a lot. Their pickles are good, not too sour! The fries are my fave. They're so crispy and soft! The house lemonade is pretty good too!

Jackie B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick, filling, delicious meal then Small Cheval is the place you must try. My go to order is the cheeseburger with tomato on a lettuce bun with a side of fries and extra aioli (of course). the service is good as you would expect. It is fast casual and you wait for your food at the counter and pick it up. I love the outdoor picnic tables which are perfect for a summer day and so enjoyable.

William P.

Yelp
A Chicago staple, the burgers are very good. They have a very nice outdoor patio where you can eat the food.

Teresa H.

Yelp
What other food stand that you frequent sells shots? The second I saw that on the menu I knew Small Cheval was going to live up to the hype! Checked them out as they seem to be on every best burger list out there and were pleased to find the burger to live up to the hype. A bit pricey but no real complaints. Super casual vibe with carrot or eat outside options exclusively.

Kesha B.

Yelp
Guilty pleasures are a must! And Small Cheval is one of mine! You can always count on the same quality, flavors, and just all around fantastic burger coming here. Parking is a little tricky esp during the peak times of lunch and dinner. But the street parking is free! The restaurant does not have indoor seating but they do have heated outdoor seating for those who want to stay and enjoy. When you go in to order they have a menu at the front and offer additional toppings if you like or just keep their included toppings. They offer soda, and alcoholic beverages as well. Once you order they give you a pager for you to grab your food when it's ready. Keep in mind that while they do get food out quickly there isn't much space inside. But plenty outside by the tables! No matter which burger or style you get, the burgers are fresh and full of flavor with each bite. They offer condiments on the side along with their garlic aioli which is a must! ESP for their friends! All in all, it's a treat everytime! We're already thinking about our next visit!

Katie N.

Yelp
Wanted a place to get a burger fix. Definitely hit the spot! I was happy when I asked for no bun. They offered lettuce wrap. It took about 20 minutes for food. Burger was super juicy. Fries tasty, too! Cups of water are self-serve, and they have sodas, beers, and shots. Small Cheval = small menu but not small taste!!

Monica S.

Yelp
Delicious burgers! Best burgers I have ever had!!! So much flavor! Fries are delicious perfectly crispy! Don't forget to get the garlic aioli sauce it's a must !!

Ryan J.

Yelp
It was almost a 5 from me, really close. On the way to the Chop Shop, we stopped here to grab a burger. After some tight parking, you walk in the side entrance to a small room to order. There's a separate line for the ride share ordering, so it's easy to get confused about which line to be in. I got a double cheese burger and shared fries with my fiancee. The burger was delicious. I always appreciate a great tasting burger that's not greasy. Seating is interesting. You go back outside with your pager and wait for then to page you to go back in and get your food. The patio area has several picnic tables (no umbrellas). It was cold out, but luckily, they had a couple of outdoor heaters running on 3 of the tables (we were able to snag a table with a heater after a family finally left). I would definitely return (maybe not in the winter haha).

Hans C.

Yelp
I thought they were supposed to be famous for hamburgers. This burger was the worst I've had in years. Burnt to sht. Thin. Low grade. I thought I was ordering something enjoyable. This place is for clowns.

Claire J.

Yelp
Before diving into the review, I want to emphasize that Small Cheval serves the best cheeseburger I've ever had. During a visit to Chicago, while exploring the northern neighborhoods, I ended up walking through Wicker Park. I decided to stop by Small Cheval and was blown away by the experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean. The interior didn't have any tables that I noticed, but the outside dining area was very pleasant. The menu offers a variety of tasty options, including boozy shakes and a vodka pink lemonade, which added a fun twist to the typical burger and fries selection. There's also a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available, making the menu surprisingly extensive. I ordered a cheeseburger with all the classic toppings, plus lettuce and tomato. I didn't realize the cheeseburger was a double patty until it arrived, and although I typically prefer single patties, this double was fantastic. The key to its perfection was the well-balanced ratio of toppings to patties. I also ordered their fries with garlic aioli on the side, and the garlic aioli made the entire meal. It was absolutely delicious and in a cute container. Two minor downsides include that the fries are sold separately and as I review Small Cheval's website, the prices aren't listed.

Grace L.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The best chicken sandwich and fries I've had since being diagnosed with celiac. Came out with an allergy sticker and at the same time as everyone else's in my group. Service was great, even when it was packed after a game at Wrigley. Also pretty inexpensive considering location and the quality- $14 for sandwich and fries! 10/10 recommend!!!

Iris P.

Yelp
Not so small in our eyes Went to small cheval to FINALLY try their burgers! We got one regular cheeseburger and one wrapped in lettuce and both were equally AMAZING truly it was delicious and being wrapped in lettuce I wasn't expecting much but it blew me away if you're in wicker it's a spot to definitely head and check out! Everyone who works there was very kind as it was our first time and the ambiance is pretty chill!

Izzy P.

Yelp
People get mad because Small Cheval isnt Au Cheval but it doesnt claim to be! Small Cheval does a respectable smash-ish burger without a 2 hour wait time. This location only has outdoor seating so it becomes something I pay attention to seasonally but its consistently good and their fries are great as well though I find they dont travel well (eat them first or you'll be disappointed getting them for takeout). Not my favorite burger in the city but I'm not gonna turn it down. Might be one of my favorite milkshakes though.

Fred H.

Yelp
Since we are in the last days of summer and we were in the neighborhood, we decided to stop in for a burger. Initially, we were blown away by the outdoor patio. Very clean and neat....We appreciated the umbrellas for shade. More importantly, on this warm summer day, the patio provided and excellent wait area.......To begin, the order and prep area is streamline and minimalized. The decor is also minimal, touches of cherry and tan wood. The menu is on the wall and it's cashless. Burgers, chicken, fries, milshakes, soda and beer......Did I mention beer? Just making sure..... I had a double cheeseburger, which normally comes with onions, pickles and dijonnase. I opted for the lettuce and tomato for an additional fee. Fries didn't come with the burger and we didn't order any. But I did order a Allagash White. My wife had the same burger but she had a vanilla milkshake.....With our order in, we were given a pager to alert us when our order is ready......This is when we took time to select a spot on the patio to eat......Our order was ready quickly.......Burger and beer.......One of the best burgers i've had. My wife agreed.......Everything was straightforward.....The service....The food...The menu......The payment......The patio............I will also mention, the bathrooms are unisex and my wife mentioned the bathrooms are "nice". I had to see for myself and she was correct. This was by far one of the cleanest bathrooms i've ever been in.......This was a spontaneous surprise.

Alexis M.

Yelp
I accidentally ordered their signature cheeseburger which is a double patty burger. That's too much patty for me, so next time I would order the single cheeseburger. Their golden fries with white cheese sauce were a perfect add on. Next time I'd try the truffle cheese sauce. Did they change their French fries? I thought they used to be different. These are still good though Their chocolate milkshake was amazing. You can add a shot of amaretto to it which pairs very well together and have yourself a boozy milkshake! Their patio is spacious and really fun to hang out in, especially on a beautiful summer day. It's always busy and takes some time to get your food, but that's to be expected here.

L S.

Yelp
This might be the best burger I have ever had. All the food ratios are right on. Flavors are phenomenal. Eaten here a few times now when I travel to Chicago. Service is fine. Ambiance is good. Place can get a bit busy.

Bernadette M.

Yelp
I've had Au Cheval bookmarked for years. I finally made it back to Chicago for a visit and wanted to try it. But my friend suggested small Cheval since this location is close to her house with no lines and she heard they serve the same burger. Au Cheval typically has huge lines plus the traffic and parking can be horrendous downtown. We came around 1 on a Thursday and found free parking easily right on the street in front of small cheval. No crowd either. We were greeted when we walked in. You order up front, they give you a buzzer, take your seat and then go back to pick up your order when your buzzer goes off. I was very bummed to see they don't offer eggs at this location. So I just got the single cheeseburger (which is actually two meat patties) and fries with truffle mayo, which is an additional fee. There is no seating inside but plenty outside. My friends and I found a nice table with an umbrella in the front. I like how the garlic mayo is complimentary and it's good. Honestly, I hate to compare but In N Out tastes better to me. Lols This cheeseburger was kinda dry and not juicy. I mean maybe it was an off day since a lot of other people like it but I wasn't impressed. I still want to try Au Cheval next time. But this was an eh ok for me.

Lorenzo E.

Yelp
Great service, food was good, small location so I ate in the car but very good. Location was very busy so I imagined the food would be good they did not disappoint. Price was ok but I wouldn't mind going again.

Mark M.

Yelp
The price is not the price. Restaurant charge! Don't put up with it! No one in restaurant at 4 pm. Service is great. Food is above average but so is culvers

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Definitely one of the best burgers in town! Simple, yet delicious Cheaper than an Au Cheval burger with the same great taste. Plus you won't have to wait in line for 2 hours for it! Opening one soon in the Rosemont area as well

Cara E.

Yelp
We took a trip to Chicago recently and decided to have lunch at Small Cheval because we had our dog with us and read that it's a dog-friendly spot. We were really glad we decided to eat here! You order inside and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. The seating is all outdoors, but they have heaters to help keep it warm! They have a lot of picnic tables. We heard that Au Cheval is a must visit, but we couldn't make that happen on this trip. We loved our burgers and fries! The sauce on the burger made it, and I love that they serve garlic aioli as a dipping sauce for the fries. Everything was delicious, and we would absolutely eat here again if we are in the area. The pricing is average, too. I'd say Small Cheval is a must visit!

Adiva A.

Yelp
Not to be dramatic but this is probably the best burger I've ever had in my life!! The menu is simple but the burgers are so so so good. The signature double cheeseburger was perfection. The beef was so juicy and seasoned so well, the cheese was perfectly melty, and the buns were so soft. I added lettuce and tomato to my burger as well. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality and the burger is reasonably priced too ($11). Its counter service and the food comes out fast and they have a cute little set up outside with picnic tables and lights. This is going to be my go-to burger spot every time I'm in Chicago!

Ariel B.

Yelp
Okay so look, I love burgers. I mean honestly I could "go for a burger" on any day. I'd heard great things about Small Cheval and since it's about a mile away from my house I decided to stop in and try it. No fuss and straight to the point: you walk in, you analyze the menu, you stand in line, and you order your food. The kitchen is wide open and looked very busy but very clean. I was greeted with a smile by the cashier and ordered the classic cheeseburger as it came with a side of fries and truffle cheese dip. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes and piping hot. I bit into this burger and honestly... truly... the beefiest, cheesiest, well seasoned, well balanced burger I've had in a while. It was really just satisfying and delicious. My wife is a thought critic and she raves about how good this burger was. I'm going back this weekend.

Madeleine B.

Yelp
Small Cheval is very hyped for supposedly having amazing burgers. I finally got to go, and got the house classic with fries. It wasn't mind blowingly good... it tasted like a burger? I don't get the hype, but maybe I'm just not a burger connoisseur. The fries were tasty, on the very salty side.

Leland L.

Yelp
Having been to Au Cheval, I have to say that Small Cheval is just as good!! The burger is quality and so delicious. The main difference is that the original Au Cheval has the bacon and egg addition, but the Small Cheval burger wasn't as messy or heavy so I enjoyed it more. I like the casual vibe here too, and it's super affordable. You also don't have to worry about the wait time! Will be back!

Padma A.

Yelp
picked up some burgers because we were in the area... the impossible burger was impossible to eat. Very disappointed ! my kids enjoyed their hamburgers or they were purely famished. not sure I will be back here!

Priya Z.

Yelp
This place is small and seating is hard to find but so worth it. The food was delicious, the weather was wonderful and overall the price was great. Would definitely recommend this to people and go again myself.

Phil S.

Yelp
I went to this Small Chaval today cause I was very close to this location & I was hongry fer a burger. This Small Chaval is located on the corner of Milwaukee & Wabansia. I have been to the udder Small Cheval on Wells Street before. The burger @ Small Cheval is just ok but it doesn't come close to Au Cheval. At Au Cheval I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger w/thick cut bacon & an egg over easy. Ahhhh to DIE FOR, unfortunately the burger at Small Cheval doesn't stack up. While the actual hamburger is ok they don't offer the thick cut bacon or the egg over easy. They have a decent burger but nothing that I would rush back for. Nice location w/street parking & an outdoor dining area, (no indoor dining. Only outdoor or carry out, unfortunately there are many other burger places that I feel are better

Jazzy S.

Yelp
SO GOOD! Au Cheval has the best burger ever, so we had to stop by to try this place while we were in town! It did not disappoint! So delicious. There were lots of to go orders but no line to order. The food took about 10 minutes to come out. - Cheeseburger with truffle cheese sauce (5/5): favorite burger I just can't believe how good it is. The add in of bacon too is delicious. The truffle cheese sauce is perfect with the fries as well. The burger is just cooked perfectly, and pairs so well with the cheese, pickles. The sauce makes the burger.

Kaitlyn C.

Yelp
Great place for something so simple! I went here with friends and the line was very long to order but we loved the burgers we got! The fries were nice and crispy which also went great with their garlic aioli sauce that they give out. We had to wait a bit for the food but the wait was very worth it. I recommend getting the double cheeseburger instead of a single as I felt like it was more worth it and you might as well eat a double if you're eating a burger. I could eat the fries and double cheeseburger myself and maybe even eat a little more fries. They also have alcoholic drinks which goes great with these burgers and I think these are one of the best burgers in town!

Brenden K.

Yelp
I'm so glad this place is located right around the corner from where I live. This place is very unpretentious with a walk up counter to order your food and drinks. There's typically a long wait and it's usually quite crowded. But I came when it was raining outside so it didn't take long at all. There didn't seem to be inside seating but there are picnic tables outside and on the side walk with umbrellas to shield the rain and sun. They have a very simple menu with few options, but many drink options including beers, cocktails, and shakes. I went with a cheeseburger housestyle (with Dijonaise, onions and pickles. I also added lettuce and tomatoes to mine. Very friendly and prompt service at the counter. My favorite part of this burger is that it wasn't cooked to well done like a normal smash burger. There was still some pink to the patty which I love. The Dijon in the sauce was just enough to give it a little zing. The burger is a very good size and was very filling. I didn't even order fries and was pretty full. I will definitely be back soon for another burger.
