Royal Indian Grill

We really enjoyed our food here during a recent Sunday dinner. Aloo Chana was amazing & flavorful - it came out with a perfect amount of heat per request. Vegetables samosa & papadam satisfied our appetite while we waited for our mains. Chicken Makhni did not disappoint. They seem to have a discount code valid thru 10.31.19 (20 Off) l. Wish we saw it earlier. Appears to be good for dine in or carryout. Enjoy!

The atmosphere was nice, with good music, and the staff was very friendly. The food was not as good as we were expecting. They do not serve alcoholic drinks like the description stated, naan was super thin and crispy, and the channa masala was very bland.

Loved this place! I met a friend for dinner and the joint was empty. I thought, oh this is a bad sign. But I was wrong. Everything was fresh, delicious, with good spice and so much joy in my belly. I usually make the trek to Devon for Indian food but this...I would go here again in a heart beat!

Very nice place and wonderful atmosphere. The staff was very nice and friendly really attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious and far better than my own expectations. We ordered the Royal MIx Grill combo which I highly recommend their combination meals as they save you quite a bit of money and get a lot of food that'll leave you full and satisfied. The Lasssi drink was actually pretty good once i adapted to the interesting flavor. My only complaint was the fact we didn't get enough rice to go with all the food. Other than that definitely worth returning.

We tried several other Indian restaurants in the city and have found royal Indian grill to be the best. The quality of the food is always top notch and the taste is ready made to your liking. I prefer something less spicy, while my fiancée prefers it more spicy. We eat here every Sunday and the staff is so great that they know us by name. Having the ability to call and order "the usual" is a real treat. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for simple, delicious, Indian food.

This place is great! I grab food there every couple weeks and it is always delicious. If you're getting a meal I highly recommend snagging either some Garlic Naan or Samosas as a side, both of which are stellar. They mostly do take out / delivery so if you're dining in it is usually pretty quiet. Sonya & Rahm are always working hard but they are always a pleasure to see and make time to say hi. So glad to have this place in our neighborhood.

The worst food I ever had in my life. Recently I placed an order through grub hub. The food was so bad that all the curries tasted same with the same gravy and even no difference between veg and non veg. Naans are very hard and the veg starters are horrible. Alootikki is literally half cooked. Chicken starters are like two years old. I never had this bad experience from any restaurant. We literally threw 130$ worth food into garbage. Never ever recommend this place to anyone.

You will NOT find better quality, better tasting, more authentic Delhi style butter chicken in Chicago! PERIOD! I have loved most of my life in Delhi & trust me the Royal Indian grill cracks the taste, consistency of the recipe. & It's the only restaurant that adds boneless "shredded tandoori chicken pieces". If you are a true butter chicken lover you'll know how critical is that too the taste, look & texture of a butter chicken! Don't waste your time searching. Order from here & like I do...ask them to make it Delhi style (keyword!).
