The 20 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim | Eater LA

"The Monte Cristo at Cafe Orleans has a dedicated fan base, but the thick batter coating of the deep-fried sandwich can get greasy and feel too heavy in the middle of a long day at the park. Enter the Waffle Cristo at Royal Street Veranda, which solves the signature sandwich’s biggest problem. This version is a thin, savory waffle filled with rosemary ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese, served with maple syrup and strawberry jam for dipping. One note: they’re only served at breakfast and often sell out, so get there early." - Julie Tremaine

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience. Food: I love Royal Street in the morning, evening, and even at supper time! I have been here for morning monte cristos and seasonal cold brews and for quick fritter bites in the evening, because this stand has a revolving rotating menu keeping it fresh in offerings. This trip gave me a Buffalo Chicken Beignets Slider opportunity which was awesome. Spicy chicken with slaw between two pillowy beignets… yes… this. Though this is supposed to be available until the end of June 2025, they always have a Monte Cristo-esque type of offering and I suggest you give that a try. Service: Disney cast member service is always at a 5-star in the parks and today was no different. Got my mobile order quick-n-easy. Also Magic Key discount applies here. Ambience: Though the Nightmare Before Christmas store will be missed the Jazz club dining area makes up for it in the awesome place I get to eat now. The decor is kid friendly and appropriate to the theme of the area. I can always shop for Nightmare Before Christmas gear at the Haunted Mansion prefab-barn gift shop anyway.

The clam chowder bowls are our favorite meal when we go to Disneyland. This is our go to!!! It’s a big meal for $13. The bread bowls are super fresh. The clam chowder is good, not the best, but is served warm and hits the spot!!! We tried the seasonal coffee fritters and were very disappointed in them. The taste wasn’t quite right and felt burnt on the edges. The hot cocoa was a win with my daughters and served quite warm. Seating can be tricky if it’s busy and you may have to wait. We came to eat about 330 and were able to find a seat with no problem.

The Clam Chowder Bread bowl is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth 😍. I get it every Disneyland trip. Creamy, warm, savory, and perfectly seasoned. I can’t say the same for the Lentil Chili/Plant-based Bowl. Cold and flavorless. Bowls are $12.99. The bread, sourdough, is not as soft as I would like, but it doesn’t bother me. Cast Members (staff) are quick and helpful. The seating area is small. I usually walk to other areas to find tables.

With so many places to eat around Disneyland, Royal Street Veranda can sometimes be overlooked. This quick-service spot offers hearty clam chowder, plant-based chili, and unique seasonal snacks--a solid 3.75 star, a-ok rating for me. As of February 2025, the breakfast menu includes the popular Waffle Cristo (in full and half orders), seasonal snacks, and beverages. For lunch and dinner, entrées include clam chowder or plant-based chili in a sourdough bread bowl, seasonal items, kids' meals, and non-alcoholic beverages. The snack-size Mardi Gras Monte Cristo was delicious and comforting, perfect for one person or sharing with a friend. The sourdough bread bowls can be a hit or miss. Although I have had fresh bread in the past, the bread in my recent order was cold and stale. Also, the price is the same, whether the chowder or soups come with or without the bread bowl. I think you'd get more soup in a regular bowl, but I'll have to find out next time. They also charge extra for the little dipping sauces or jam cup. It would have been nice to include it with the items. There is one window for walk-up ordering and one for pickup, including mobile orders. Mobile ordering is the way to go to save time. Magic Key discounts also apply. There are a few tables available at RSV but they can be crowded. You can also walk over to Tiana's Palace, Harbour Galley, or Stage Door Cafe (next to River Belle Terrace) for additional tables and breathing room. Note: I prefer the clam chowder at Aunt Cass's in DCA. ;)

Google
I tried the snack sized Mardi gras monte cristo with hesitation but it was delicious! It doesn't even need the side of jam.

Google
Finally some nice meals at Disneyland Park that are not fast food meals. My soup in sour dough bread tasted good and the meal was fulfilling. The tables places in front of the restaurant were very full, so it might happen that you will need to eat your meal elsewhere.

Google
So I'm rating for two people. For me, the clam chowder bread bowl was very yummy, and I was quite happy with it. The other person in my party who is a vegetarian and got the vegetable stew was very unsatisfied. They had me try it, and I completely agree. It was cold and gummy. Very unsatisfying. So it was a bit of a waste of money since it went uneaten. The worker was tired and uninviting, I understand they have long days. Feel bad for them, but it kinda lowered the mood. This wasn't a highlight, unfortunately. However, disney has many other amazing places. :)

Google
The sourdough bread was a good quality and fresh. The clam chowder was decent, but their was less than a cup of soup in the bread bowl. I ate a lot of bread.

Yelp
Drink was great had Pumkin king cold brew. service was quick. Ambiance was great. Love the Halloween theme drink.

Yelp
Not a whole lot of options. the waffle cristo is good, but too tiny for the price, even for the full. it definitely wont fill you up.
google avatar

Czarina D.

Yelp
We were there to try the viral Waffle Cristo for breakfast! But we were 45 min too late (they stopped serving it at 10am) The lovely lady at the cashier suggested the Pimento-Cheese Fritters instead. Fried Fritters filled with a Blend of Cheeses and Pimento served with a Cajun Aïoli Dipping Sauce. Ok but wait, these fritters were YUMMY! And the aioli was quite tasty. Fried well, not greasy, and not too salty either. Overall, totally a snack I'd eat again!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The pumpkin cold brew here is delicious! It's got strong pumpkin flavors mixed with this velvety coffee. Definitely thicker than your average cold brew and pretty sweet too. If you're into pumpkin, this drink definitely has it - I'd totally order it again. The place itself was packed when I went, all tables full, but surprisingly no line. If you're at Disneyland and need a pumpkin spice fix, this spot's worth checking out.

Yelp
This place has been my substitute spot for getting mint juleps and beignets since the Mint Julep bar has been closed for renovations for months. With this fact, it means that I always mobile order here so that my food's ready by the time I get off of Pirates or the Haunted Mansion. Pretty quick service and they have your food out and ready quite efficiently. Definitely on top of their mobile order pick up game. For this trip, I ordered the: 1) Mickey Shaped Beignets (3 pack): -Served just like it is at the Mint Julep Bar in a white bag with plenty of powdered sugar to dust and shake around. 2) Pickwick Ghost Punch: -Seasonal drink for the new Haunted Mansion movie. -It's a lovely pinky red drink (think like a Sobe juice) that's a mix of fruit, citrus juices, and a sherbet. Very yummy. Wish I got another one to be honest. 3) Constance's Concoction: -Another seasonal menu item for the new Haunted Mansion movie. -It's a potato and leak soup topped with pea flower creme fraiche (it's a lavender purple drizzle), herb oil, and fried leeks served in a sourdough bread bowl. -It's a hearty and delicious potato soup balanced with the subtle sweetness and earthy tones of the leeks. There's also a slight crispiness from the fried ones. I believe the herb oil also gave it a slight sourness but it made the rich soup much more "refreshing" with this burst of flavor. Not as sour as pickles though, just an FYI. For now, this will be my go to for mint juleps and beignets.

Yelp
Royal street veranda has a small pick up window and offerings include the famous clam chowder in a bread bowl, as well as pimento cheese fritters, which I got today to try. The order comes with 3 savory fritters filled with a Blend of Cheeses and Pimento served with a Cajun Aïoli Dipping Sauce. The fritters are tasty, not too greasy, and the sauce compliments them well. I utilized mobile ordering and my order was ready almost immediately. There are a few tables nearby for those who want to sit and enjoy their meals/snacks.

Yelp
Hidden next to the queue for Pirates this is a great spot to grab a nice mid day meal and sit back and people watch. I always go with the clam chowder, you can't go wrong, but for a small quick service location they have some great options. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the tight seating and because it's in a high traffic area it can be hard to get a table to eat from the people just sitting down to relax.

Yelp
I am a huge Disneyland fan and have been 17 times in my life so far. No matter what I always have to grab a Clam Chowder bread bowl when making a trip to Disney. This last trip I was sad to see Pacific Wharpf Cafe had closed in CA Adventures, however my wife and I found this hidden gem in Disneyland instead. My Clam Chowder was awesome, but the best part is the sourdough bread bowl. Absolutely hands down the best sourdough you'll ever try in your life. This will be our new go to when in Disneyland to fulfill our bread bowl cravings!

Yelp
Best chowder and bread bowl in the world IMO. On a cool Disney evening after miles in the park and a healthy appetite, this counter service option in New Orleans Square provides a filling, economic, and delicious meal full of flavor and NOLA and Americana nostalgia. Also, absolutely shareable if the portion feels overwhelming. Snag a seat at Tiana's Palace to people watch and and absorb the ambiance of New Orleans Square and Rivers of America. One of the best meals in the park, and remember, calories don't count on Disney days (wink wink).

Yelp
We stopped here for a snack and ordered the pineapple coconut fritters. They were delicious! The pineapple marmalade was very tasty! Highly recommended! We were lucky enough to find seats in the shade as it was pretty hot. Mobile ordering is awesome!

Yelp
Excellent choice for a number of bread bowls that are easy to eat on the go, without a lot of fuss, and without a lot of time commitment. The gumbos are all excellent and filling, with the right amount of spice an a good amount of me. If gumbo isn't your thing, you also cannot go wrong with the chowders or the fritters. The location is convenient to Pirates of the Caribbean, the remainder of New Orleans Square, and Frontierland. The seating area is outdoors, which can be a little problematic on extremely hot days, or rainy days. However, the views of the surrounding area, and the ability to people watch provides an added bonus.
google avatar

Andrea R.

Yelp
I tried out the cookies and cream fritters. It was so delicious. It had the perfect chocolatey taste and pairs well with the dipping sauce. Make sure you get some napkins because it does get messy with the sugar pieces falling everywhere as you eat. I wish they keep this food was permanent rather than a limited time item because it tasted so delicious.
google avatar

Diele K.

Yelp
Situated near Pirates of the Caribbean and the Nightmare Before Christmas/Haunted Mansion merchandise shop. You can find delicious bread bowls, salads, and other offerings here. It is available for mobile order and pay via the Disneyland app if you want to skip the line like I do. There is some outdoor seating that can be limited, so be mindful during busy lunch or dinner service times. Always quick, friendly, and tasty if you want a quick service dining option your next Disney trip.
google avatar

Hui L.

Yelp
Mobile ordered the clam chowder bowl and it was ready right away. It was a decent bowl of chowder. I just wish the chowder to bread bowl ratio was more even rather than 75% bowl and 25% chowder. Only a few tables available for seating.
google avatar

Chanté B.

Yelp
There is a super long line to make an order than you have to wait, I highly recommend using the mobile ordering from your phone because it is super fast and way more convenient. The gumbo was delicious but only one piece of steak was in the soup for $11 you would think you would get maybe the least 3 pieces. The flavor was delicious tho the bread makes it super filling but a great appetizer to split with two other people while your waiting to be called for the sit down restaurants close to Royal Street Veranda. Tried two orders of the beignets and they were good light and fluffy, make sure to eat over something because after you shake the bag with the powder sugar and take a bite your basically wearing it all. Seating is very limited and not very clean as many people sit for there meal and get up and go without really disposing their trash. Didn't see anyone bussing tables while sitting down either. No inside seating only outdoor seating with some umbrellas that you can sit under but majority of tables are just open.
google avatar

Yelp
Like another reviewer said, the Royal Street Veranda's beignets were the worst food we had at Disneyland. I needed a quick bite to take some medication and saw that the Royal Street Veranda line was finally down to something manageable so I figured we would grab something quick. We ended up deciding against the stew and went with the beignets. But these Mickey beignets? They are not beignets. The honey and I were fortunate enough to visit Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans in 2018, when we traveled to several new states. And the only thing these Mickey beignets have in common with actual beignets is the powdered sugar. Royal Street Veranda's beignets are basically like empty doughnuts or cream puffs with no cream. They're basically empty puffs with no flavor beyond the sugar you have to shake up (which gets all over you) to cover them. At $4.99 they're not worth even that. All in all, a definite 'would not eat again'.
google avatar

Yelp
We went with the beef stew in a bread bowl, side of broccoli * cauli, and the po' boy beef sandwich with au jus + chips. The beef stew was very salty and the liquid was completely absorbed by the bread within minutes so all that was left was the meat and veggies. The bread bowl was fresh. The veggies were hit and miss - some were perfect and others were mushy. The sandwich was overall tasty. The bread was soft - au jus was flavorful, not too salty. The horseradish sauce is not super spicy and definitely has a garlic flavor. I personally liked it. They also top it with crispy onion pieces but I didn't enjoy what the onions were coated in... the seasoning was lacking in flavor. The amount of meat you get is really good , I wanted more horse radish sauce so I would ask for extra on the side if you like it as well !
google avatar

Vivian T.

Yelp
They stopped serving clam chowder bowls at this spot, however, we were able to get a chowder bowl nor far from here. My three stars are towards the Mickey shaped beignets we ordered. So not fresh and I could already tell the way they just stuffed the old ones in a bag and gave them to me right away. The Julep Bar was closed temporarily so this was our closest option. We did order a Mint Julep and that was pretty refreshing. The gumbo looks delicious here though!

Yelp
I like coming to Royal Street Veranda at Disneyland for clam chowder when they used to have it here! On those cold nights, Clam Chowder in a Sourdough Bread Bowl is the ultimate comfort. I think the chowder and bread is from Boudin Sf! It hits the spot for those cravings but this is not the best clam chowder I've ever had though so don't expect that but the bread is amazing. The chowder is creamy and thick which makes it good but I think that it is lacking in clams and clam flavor. I would only come here if I am really craving soup or if it's a cold night because I can buy this exact bowl outside of Disneyland and for cheaper. They sometimes don't fill the bowl to the brim with clam chowder which irks me because I want a better chowder to bread ratio and I should be getting the most chowder, I paid for it! Either way this meal is still very filling because there is so much bread, I can never finish the bread but dipping the bread into the chowder tastes amazing. Sometimes I do wish they offered this without the bread bowl at a cheaper cost. They recently changed their menu so right now they don't currently offer clam chowder here but you can still get your fix at Harbour Galley in Critter Country. I haven't tried other things on the menu! You can find Royal Street Veranda in New Orleans Square. It's quick service, you pay and pick up your food at the window. Service is friendly. They have some nice casual tables outside but the seating area is pretty small so when it's busy it is hard to find a table. Before French Market Restaurant closed down earlier this February, I would go there and eat if I couldn't find a table here. They offer mobile ordering so I usually order on the app to skip the line. Just make sure to plan ahead as time slots on the app can also fill up.
google avatar

McKenzie S.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Disneyland. You'll be hard pressed to find seating, but the fritters are easy enough to eat on the go. Occasionally they'll have seasonal or specialty fritters and those are always a fun thing to try. Don't skip out on Royal Street Veranda and always use mobile ordering!
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
We stayed in Disney for 3 days and ate a ridiculous amount of amusement park food. I asked my boyfriend, "What was the worst thing you ate this trip". Unfortunately, he said the beignets. We grabbed some beignets around 10am and they were cold and stale. The dough wasn't even fluffy and it felt like it had been made hours ago or even the night before. I'd recommend skipping this place and going to Ralph Brennan's in Downtown Disney for beignets, which are a thousand times better.
google avatar

Jennifer O.

Yelp
This is definitely a must visit for me whenever I go to Disney.... The bread bowl with clam chowder is a classic. I know it's probably just premade sad clam chowder, but, for some reason I associate it with Disney. The gumbo is also decent. The best thing about it is it's not too expensive and it's very filling.
google avatar

Bao N.

Yelp
The soups here are so good. With the amount of bread on the bowl, I just wish there was more soup!!! The clam chowder is extra creamy and loaded with tender potatoes and lots of clam bits. The gumbo is loaded with chunks of meat and is packed with tons of delicious flavors and loaded with tender veggies. I love how the soup soaks into the bread and after my kids finish eating all the soup, I end up eating just eating all the bread soaked in soup. Tip: Get some butter packets and smear it on all the leftover bread and eat it so it doesn't go to waste!
google avatar

Mela M.

Yelp
The beignets were cold. They were not even warm in the slightest which is a huge let down. I only gave a rating this high because the Mint Julep was amazing.
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
A great quick service option at Disneyland! My go-to when I visit the Royal Street Veranda is of course the clam chowder in a bread bowl! Disneyland's clam chowder is creamy and tasty and of course everything is better in a bread bowl! The other thing I've been loving is their seasonal fritters which is a relatively new thing. This season they're offering pumpkin fritters that also have a pumpkin cream cheese. These are super tasty and very flavorful! The fritters themselves are not too sweet, but the cream cheese is quite sweet so it's a good balance. It's definitely tricky to find seating in this area though, so you'll likely need to take your food elsewhere to enjoy.
google avatar

Sierra C.

Yelp
The place to get your mint julep fix while the juice bar is closed!!! Definitely mobile order ahead of time as line can get long. This is the iconic bread bowl place in Disneyland! It's a staple and probably my favorite place to get food. All of the soup bread bowls here are great and the beignets are a not too sweet treat. I've eaten the bread bowls on the go but recommend sitting down to eat. There's a small seating area that can get competitive for seating, especially during fantasmic. Some seats have a pretty good view of fantasmic. Keep in mind this places closest a bit early!

Danny M.

Yelp
When it says something is ready now apparently that means it is ready in over 10 minutes. While you wait all you smell is musky chlorine water from the pirates of the Caribbean ride. I guess an industry worth billions doesn't know how to work a simple ordering system. I wouldn't return due to the service alone.
google avatar

Cristina B.

Yelp
THE CLAM CHOWDER, THOUGH. That's it, that's all you need. Just go there and get clam chowder and your life will be changed for the better.
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
Swung by for a quick beignet snack. Super generous on the powdered sugar. However, the beignets were, unfortunately, not fresh. Tough and chewy: a definite pass. Bummer!
google avatar

Catherine T.

Yelp
ordering was easy and service was fine but thought the food was pretty subpar. we ordered the clam chowder + gumbo bread bowl and jalapeño fritters. the gumbo bread bowl was good and probably the best item we tried here. the clam chowder wasn't bad, but the soup wasn't even hot and was just barely lukewarm, even though they had just scooped it into the bowl when we got there. the bread bowls for both gumbo and chowder were both very cold, and kinda tough/hard to eat. the bowls were also so shallow it feels like we barely got any soup so we ended up having so much leftover bread to throw away. lastly, jalapeño fritters were unlavorful and a little dry. would recommend skipping this place and getting cajun food literally anywhere outside of disneyland.
google avatar

Tash E.

Yelp
The best place to stop and get that famous soup in a bowl. They have clam chowder, veggie gumbo and steak gumbo. They are all amazing. We cannot come to Disney and not stop by this location. They have walk up ordering service as well as mobile orders. They serve your food almost instantly.
google avatar

Erika B.

Yelp
Was so excited for beignets but the beignets here are TERRIBLE. Cold, hollow, and extremely thin. Hard pass.
google avatar

Flora H.

Yelp
It's all about the clam chowder in a bread bowl at the Royal Street Veranda. Being from the east coast, the only place in southern California where I get the clam chowder is the Royal Street Veranda. There is a lot of bread relative to the amount of soup that you get, but I think that's always the case with a bread bowl. Probably not a bad thing not to eat all of that bread. Tip - The line is always really long, but you can order from your phone and pick it up at the window.
google avatar

Rashad G.

Yelp
Had the vegan gumbo and my wife had the steak. Food was very bland and no spice. When I think of Cajun food and New Orleans. I think of spice and flavor, this had neither. Price I would say was worth it for theme park food. But I would never try again and I wouldn't recommend it.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
We really enjoy having a light lunch at the Royal Street Veranda. Located in New Orleans Square just tucked behind and off to the side of Pirates of the Caribbean, you can find tasty clam chowder and gumbo alike. On this particular visit, they also offered a season item of blue crab fritters, and they are so good. These perfectly crispy fritters are served with cocktail sauce. To be honest though, the fritters have such good flavor, you really don't even need it. I am hopeful that the popularity of this season item will make them long lasting.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
The vegetarian gumbo is my "go to" when I go to Disneyland. Mostly because I want to eat something that will fill me up. The price isn't bad, less than $15. Great ambiance, at the heart of the park. Some hours are busier than others but this is where you want to take a break and take it all in. Friendly service too.
google avatar

Kristy D.

Yelp
Clam chowder is the best soup in Disney! Loaded with clams and flavor. Must try on a cold day at Disney! 2220.
google avatar

Charlene P.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST clam chowder I ever had! Our group of friends had to get this especially since we were freezing our butts off in December
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
Omg best service ever on Saturday by Renee. Great service and great attitude. This will be my new go to. Give this girl the gold star!
google avatar

Tony J.

Yelp
Too salty and bread bowl too heavy. Fritters were so so. The only thing good was the fact that it's only $37 but that's actually a lot, but not a lot for Disneyland. I don't know that's part of meat is tempted to return those Apple fritters wait one out of the three on one of the servings.
google avatar

Lilly N.

Yelp
Looks are deceiving. That bread bowl you pay an arm & a leg for us actually 20% soup, 80% bread. And not delicious bread, borderline stale bread. Although it is one of the quicker options to eat at in Disneyland. Not a sit down but more of a quick service/order at the counter ordeal. Would be worth it if the bread isn't so stale. We ordered at least 3 bowls among our group and pretty much all of them were around the same poor quality. The steak gumbo was delicious but there was just so little of it :/ guess you can't complain too much since it's Disneyland and you should expect to sell your soul to afford things here
google avatar

Tanesha J B.

Yelp
I come here evvveerrryyytine I'm in Disneyland. I can never miss a clam chowder visit. There is a new creamy, sweet, sorbet drink that can be an excellent drink- or a dessert.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
For a quick meal during Pixar Fest I definitely recommend ordering the Potato Leek soup. It's an homage to the Pixar film Ratatouille (so cute!) and I think Remy wouldn't be disappointed! This soup has the consistency of a chowder or a cream of potato. It's buttery and smooth and blended really well - no potato chunks to be found. If you're a bread person (how could you not be?!?) you'll be happy because this soup comes in a hefty bread bowl (remember to get some butter!). The sourdough bread bowl is chewy, and can be a bit of a workout for your jaw, but trust me, it'll really warm your belly and your soul!

Jeremiah R.

Yelp
First time trying it and it was a total disappointment. All the hype was for nothing and I was excited to try it to be honest. First, the steak stew was not hot at all and the quality felt like it came out of a Campbell soup can. Second, there's just too much bread and they need to take more out. Lastly, there was just not enough soup for that bowl being 1/3 full of bread. I wasn't satisfied.
google avatar

Michelle P.

Yelp
Mobile order makes life so easy. We wanted hot gumbo after riding haunted mansion so ordered while we were in line and clicked prepare order when we were walking over. It was ready quick and was delicious! Gumbo is flavorful and of course the bread bowl was yummy. I only wish you could order more gumbo in a cup! The bread really soaks up the soup so it doesn't feel like enough to eat with the entire bread bowl.
google avatar

Faith C.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place for their clam chowder. We did mobile order and it was ready super quickly. The clam chowder was so delicious! I love clam chowder and every bite was so savory. The bread was soft on the inside and perfect with the clam chowder. The only bad thing about it is I live too far away to be able to enjoy this clam chowder daily.
google avatar

Lainey C.

Yelp
I was so excited to try the chowder because all of the reviews are good and it was freezing, so it just felt like the right thing to order. It wasn't. The chowder was just chunky and didn't come with a lot. The bread bowl was cold and hard. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that now so that the soup can warm up the bread but every time I've had a bread bowl it was warm. Maybe it's on us for ordering on the Disney app. But I expect to get what I pay for and this just wasn't what we wanted.

Michael M.

Yelp
They don't have Gumbo anymore... What place in "New Orleans" truly serves only Clam Chowder and Potato Leek soup in bread bowls?! What a disgrace to the name "New Orleans".
google avatar

Angie M.

Yelp
Its often hard to find things to eat at Disneyland before 11am. Its a serious bummer, to be honest. If the park is open, ALL food options should be available. If I want ice cream at 9am, I should be able to have it... its DISNEYLAND! Anyway, in need of something to eat around 10:30am or so... we decided to get something from Royal Street Veranda. I went with the vegetarian chili, and my friend went with the Clam Chowder. She said hers wasnt very hot.... and mine wasnt either, but thats more concerning to me for Clam Chowder. My chili was all over my plate which ended up being a serious mess. It was an extremely windy day and keeping a napkin anywhere near was a serious challenge. There is not a lot of actual chili or soup inside the bread bowl, but what is in there, is delicious. It had a lot of flavor and didnt upset my stomach so thats a huge plus! I will have this again!
