Rubys is a gem, quite literally and metaphorically, I guess. Tucked in an unassuming part of greenwood is a dog friendly, small seating, heck of a cocktail joint. Their menu and drinks change seasonally so it’s like watching all your favorite Game of Thrones character get offed. Sad, but necessary for growth and new characters. Anyways, this place is rad. Great service, great creative cocktails each quarter, and a friendly place to hang🤙🏻

This place is so cute and quaint! It’s small but a great vibe and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I’ve lived in Greenwood for 13 years and never stumbled across this place until recently. It’s a hidden gem. Decent drinks but don’t except to take a gang of people with you. Perfect for a couple! I’ll be back for sure!

Very nice small bar in the neighborhood, perfect cocktail bar, official occupancy is 28 people. Very tasty cocktails and bites, the wings were pre-marinated and were very tender. They have wine, beer and mocktails by request. Amazing atmosphere, will be back!

Hidden little bar! We stumbled upon it randomly after seeing a small sandwich board sign. Weren't sure if we're walking into a bar or some sketch place. It's a bar indeed. Super cute inside. Sits maybe 25 ish people. Very speak easy vibes. The owner/bartender is super nice, cocktails are awesome and they have small bar bites!!

We actually really liked this place and spent over $70 here. The appetizers were super pricey for what they were, so my friend started eating a box of pop tarts. One of the bartenders actually came over and handed us plates! I then ordered another drink and another bartender came over and told us we were not allowed to be eating any outside food and “to remember for next time.”I just thought it was a pretty bold thing to say to people who had been enjoying their time and purchasing multiple drinks over the span of the night. Like… its a pop tart… really? I won’t be returning due to this. Im sure theres more laidback bars in the area!

Great atmosphere, speakeasy vibes. Music and lighting is on point. Drinks from the menu are delicious and if there is a cocktail not on the menu that you'd like, the bartender can definitely accommodate. Bartender is super friendly and creates a really welcoming, community feel. Super excited about this new addition to Greenwood! This was our first time here, and I already know we will be here a lot!

I don’t leave reviews often, but this is one of my favorite places in Greenwood & in Seattle. Rotating menu & its items mean you’ll never know what you’re going to get, & that’s a good thing. Or just ask one of their great bartenders to whip something up. You can’t lose coming here.

Tiny bar, big personality. They have a rotating menu with a few classics that stay. The secret garden was incredible - highly recommend that one. Also the wings were great. Staff were really helpful and kind. Plus, you can’t go wrong with all the pup decor. 🐾

This is a fairly small, hole in the wall, neighborhood bar with speakeasy vibes, though it is fairly easy to locate the bar since the name of the bar is painted in a large wall. We walked in as a party of 2 on a Thursday around 9pm and it was not too busy - probably half the bar was occupied. We opted to sit at one end of the bar because the bar seats are where the vibes are at. The place is decorated in a fairly elegant and old school manner, so you are somewhat transported away from the outside reality. We got the Tobe's Thique Mint and Garden Party. I loved the creaminess and cinnamon afternotes of Tobe's Thique Mint, and it also looks somewhat pretty. It is quite a heavy drink, so one was enough to fill me up. The Garden Party was a bit of a miss since as much as I tasted the orange and grapefruit, it was a very light drink and tasted a little watered down. The biggest plus is that the drinks are fairly affordable compared to the greater Seattle area, priced at $14. I liked how their menu says 14 for $14, as they have just 14 cocktails to choose from and the drinks seem to rotate seasonally. For us, we went just in time to still have the spring menu, but they will change to the summer menu on June 20.

This place isn't quite a speak easy but it definitely feels a little like that. The exterior of the building barely hints at what's inside. You could walk right past and either think they're closed or not even notice they're there. In fact we almost did just that except that a patron standing outside told us we really needed to try it. I suggested that more signage would let people know they're there but the barkeep said they kinda like the way it is. And, fair enough. On this Sunday evening there was a steady stream through the door all evening. This isn't the kind of place where everyone hides behind their phones. The whole bar was chatting away. A nice break from the usual Seattle freeze. The interior is a lush mix of damask fabric walls, chandeliers and a fun wall of pet portraits. The drinks here are really special. Mike, (the owner?) takes pride in his cocktail program with a mix of house made and premium bitters along with a whole variety of other special items. The menu is snack focused but we just stopped in for a drink (then stayed for a couple more) so didn't try it. 4 taps of beer. No official mocktail menu but they have a few options on hand. A great addition to the already strong neighborhood cocktail bar scene. Will definitely be back.

What a great little place! Super friendly staff who go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your time there. Charming atmosphere. And I was pleasantly surprised that the well whisky was an unexpectedly very good burbon that also happened to be my favorite, a classy move. Great place to unwind after work!

Ruby is my new favorite good-vibes cocktail joint that I want to keep as my own sweet little secret but also want them to thrive so will dutifully spread the word. Came in a couple weeks ago to celebrate a friend's birthday and we were well taken care of by Mike who couldn't be friendlier or better at cocktail profiling. We enjoyed our libations and snacks (french fries and fried pickles) and a cozy evening holed up in this classy joint. Great spot to arrive solo and make a friend at the bar or for a romantic date. I've been dreaming of returning ever since and intend to make my way back again very soon!

Perfect small cocktail bar for a date night. Small space that's laid out well with a large square bar in the center and small 2-seater high top table lining the walls. Great cocktail menu, all drinks are the same price and clearly labeled. Came on a Wednesday at 7:30 and it was fairly empty when we got there but filled up by the time we left around 9.

Solid cocktails and a cozy, plush atmosphere. Dark wood, wallpaper, and vintage mirrors. Feels like a speakeasy. Personable owner/bartender. Good spirits selection. Named after the owner Mike's ex's Corgi, Ruby -- whose image adorns the back wall. Across from Fred Meyer in Greenwood.

What a find! Very small and beautiful bar in Greenwood. The bartender knows his stuff creating amazing cocktails. Limited food options but the chicken wings are worth ordering.

Yo! Mike has a pretty special spot happening right now. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in my kind of place; divey yet casual with a small list of cocktails and bites, but Mike was at the ready to make whatever you want so long you gave him some preferences, he took care of the rest. The place was also packed and for being only open a few months, the dude already has neighborhood regulars! Again, awesome spot for a date night, meeting friends, or a daily hang. It was rad.

This place is a gem. Drinks and service are 10/10. Can't wait to frequent this place more!

Neighborhood gem hole in the wall. The cocktails are superb, Mike is very friendly, the vibe is casual and upbeat, the conversations with the other patrons flow smoothly. Speakeasy? Perhaps. But you step through the red door from grimy 85th, and you end up in this classy-looking plush world-in-a-box. Magical.

My husband and I went here for the first time tonight. Thank goodness we came early because it was packed. The owner was super nice and told us how he wanted a neighborhood bar feel. Well, kudos to you because that's exactly how we felt. He has pictures of dogs on his wall. I offered a pic of our miniature dauchshund Franklin, which i will for sure bring him. The drinks were great! It's a small space, so it was nice to make friends with the people sitting next to you. We will definitely be back here again!

This bar is a charming and unique addition to Greenwood nightlife. The interior is styled like a Victorian parlor, but is comfortable and unpretentious in the best sense. Most of the seating is at the bar which makes for a lively social experience. The speciality drinks are sophisticated and reasonably priced. The owner was working the bar when I visited, and the service was excellent.

Such a cool vibe!! Super classy hole in the wall with great cocktails. The owner clearly cared about making sure everyone had a great experience, and the other person behind the bar was great too. FYI- didn't see them on the menu but they are great at mocktails and have a nonalcoholic beer too!

A cozy neighborhood gem where you can experience elevated craft cocktails without all the pretentiousness you don't need. Seriously, the recipes are perfectly balanced and you can see the owner has poured a lot of love into this spot. Tasty snacks!
