Where to Savor New Orleans’s Best Shrimp and Grits | Eater New Orleans

"With a growing number of locations in New Orleans, Metairie, Lafayette, Orange Beach and Pensacola, Ruby Slipper does breakfast right and has the crowds to prove it. Slurp an excellent Bloody Mary and tuck into the Slipper’s version of shrimp and grits swimming in a beer and rosemary butter sauce over creamy stone ground grits, a biscuit on the side. The grits are so good, it might be prudent to order an extra side." - Beth D’Addono

Nice and cozy place to get bennies (eggs Benedict), omelets, and pancakes. A huge shoutout to the absolute best pancakes I’ve ever had! Fluffy, golden perfection with just the right touch of sweetness and buttery aroma. If you’re a fellow pancake lover, trust me, you need to try theirs. The applewood smoked bacon, sweet heat chicken, bayou shrimp and cochon that we ordered with our eggs were no slouches either and were excellent in their own right. Tip for my Asian compats: like many sit-down restos here in the US, the soda you order that’s served in a glass is gratis refillable. Enjoy.

I go to school in New Orleans, and when my parents come to visit me the only brunch we will go to is Ruby Slipper Uptown. We have tried all the locations and this location is by far the best. The food is absolutely amazing and the waiters are always so friendly! Today, our waitress was Jazmine was great and the service was fantastic! We’re excited to come back soon! (The white chocolate bread pudding pancakes are our personal favorite!)

Google
Overall this is a solid 4 star. Food was a hands down 5 but the service was a subpar and a 3 is generous. Food was slow to come out but not a problem at all with the crowd and the quality and taste were great! Server seems to have better things to do than wait on our table. We were a party of 4 and had to ask for coffee refills atleast 6 times. When it was time for the check another server had to assist us since our server had disappeared in the back for a while. All that said, I will be back just hopefully with a different server.

Google
The food was good. There's a southern twist to pretty much all the dishes which is pretty cool. There's an upcharge for any sides like bacon or eggs so read everything carefully as many if the dishes don't include everything. The service was not that great. The waitress wasn't very helpful. We never received one of the sets of silverware and needed to get up and get it ourselves. There was no refresh on coffee, water, or drinks. The waitress checked in with us once. We had to ask the bartender to find our waiter for the check. The place is clean, pretty and there's a lot of space. It's a shame because it would have probably been a more pleasant visit if the service was better.

Google
Claire was my waitress and I can say with confidence she is one of the best waitresses I have ever had. Her happy energy and smile were highly contagious The food came out quick, hot and cooked to perfection. I got the fried chicken and French toasts bites. It’s comes with some confectionery sugar on top and strawberries up in the mix. Loved it and highly recommend it. I’ve been to a few different locations of the Ruby Slipper and they all have been great but this one stands out because of the waitress Claire

Google
This place is simply amazing. Great selection of food and drinks. Fair prices. Clean place. Bright and inviting. MANY vegetarian options as well!! I had the veggie tacos and it was the best I’ve ever had. Our group had many other items not vegetarian and we all agreed the food was incredible. One mistake was made but it was acknowledged and fixed promptly. Host and server were both awesome!! Try this place out with kids or without and everyone will be able to find something they like!

Google
An over-the-rainbow, radiant restaurant. As someone who’s usually bored by breakfast, Ruby Slipper was very much a fit. The beignets are indeed a big deal. Strudel-y soft and sweet. Do double down on fried green tomato in your eggs benny. The host, server, and community manager before the meal, during, and after (giving the golden standard on how to navigate The Garden District) … All of them insured excellence!

Google
We came in at around eight in the morning. We were greeted right away and got a table rather quickly. Our server was so sweet. She made us feel very welcomed. I have only been to two locations and this one is my favorite of the two!

Yelp
We came in to town for a graduation ceremony banquet (medical). We kept passing by the Ruby slipper. But decided to look it up just in case we needed a reservation. Saw Ruby Slipper, "CBD". (it was 4 of us). We thought, hmmmm, very strange "CBD!" (Keep in mind, we are from California) so instead of calling, we walked right up. The young lady at the front said how many, I said 4, but we don't have all of our party on-site. The young lady said have you been here before, we said no, I was very curiously asked, ummm! We looked you up and it said "CBD", She smiled and said yes, I said, you put it in everything? She actually said yes, but only pulling my leg and said CBD is Central Business District. Oh wow she got us. Thanks for the laugh. Our party arrived and we were seated. We had French toast bites, Piggy bacon bites (pairs perfect together) eat them like a lil sandwich delish, we had the fried green tomatoes, they were very well dressed, loaded! Absolutely delicious, there was fish and grits, and shrimp and grits, the were Smooth and creamy, the fish and the shrimp cooked to perfection. The Bloody Mary's are very good. and I can't forget the service was A1. They didnt miss a beat. Loved it!. When in the area, take a stroll to the Ruby slipper Uptown. You will not be disappointed. Lol! Don't ask for the CBD! If you don't know California is legal for cannabis, and CBD is the chemical compound in cannabis.

Yelp
Word to the wise: come early!!! This is pretty much the case at all Ruby Slipper locations, but definitely at this location. It's bus accessible, or walkable, or you can park in the street no problem. There are no reservations and it's popular for large groups, so the earlier you go the better. The wait will grow. BUT the food is delicious. There are so many great options to choose from that you REALLY need to go a few times to try them all. I highly recommend the Benedicts. Our server did a great job given how busy they get, and I really love that they have mix n match options for the different Benedicts. A menu after my indecisive heart! The drinks are also very pleasant. I had a great Bloody Mary during this visit, but I normally swear by the Irish coffee. It's loud and lively, but a super reliable choice for brunch in New Orleans!

Yelp
Ruby Slipper is a Brunch/Breakfast focused restaurant chain that started in New Orleans post Katrina, and now spans 20 locations across multiple Southern states. This particular location is uptown on Magazine st. and close to plenty of shops, bars, and other food options. Service has always been friendly and timely, but there may be a line if it's a busy weekend, peak hours, or during a local tourist heavy event. The interior is very clean and corporate franchise feeling which attracts lots of out of towners looking for a "safe" option, but the food is in fact good and worth a visit if you're craving a brunch menu.

Yelp
Ruby Slipper is a fantastic place to get some brunch, when you're not in a rush. Weekends seem to be busy, esp with Mardi Gras weekend, and their waitlist had a consistent 20+ number of parties on the Yelp waitlist throughout the morning and afternoon. Our food took about 45 minutes to come out (for a party of 5) and we were starvingggg watching everyone else eat around us. The biscuits here were a highlight - Came with a sweet butter that was so delicious on a warm biscuit. Fried chicken sandwich (don't forget the hot honey!) plus the seasoned fries were wonderful and I would get my own next time. Pancakes were moist and filling. Trifecta was FILLING. Shrimp & grits were the only dish lacking IMO: shrimp was cooked perfectly, but the grits had no flavor at all. Overall it's quite loud inside with so many patrons, the servers were nice and prompt with requests after our food came, just make sure you join the Yelp waitlist... It was nearly 1.5 hours with how popular they are, and the additional half hour min. for fresh breakfast to get to your table.

Yelp
I love the Ruby Slipper! I've been to this location several times but none of the other locations. My wife has been to several locations; and the one in the French Quarter is her favorite, but she likes this location a lot too. They have an extensive menu, and you can't go wrong with any of it. But, if you are looking for a recommendation: I would suggest the Peacemaker. The Peacemaker is mixing and matching any two of their variations on Eggs Benedict. My two favorites are probably Chicken St. Charles and Eggs Cochon. I should also mention their Award Winning Bloody Mary is excellent. Oh, and my wife likes the Mimosa Flight. Service is friendly and professional. Decor is cheery. Prices are reasonable. If you happen to be looking for a great breakfast and a relaxed vibe, I recommend the Ruby Slipper!

Yelp
Service is a staple! Atmosphere and food is always delicious and presentable! Parking was a little tight in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Yelp
Whenever I'm asked about a good brunch place, Ruby Slipper always comes to the top of the list. I have visited multiple of their locations in New Orleans and the experience has always been pretty consistent. This location is on Magazine St in the Uptown area. It's a really great location with lots of small shops and restaurants within walking distance. The few times that I have been here it hasn't been super busy so I've never had trouble getting a table. This time was no different, I was seated immediately and my server was quick. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, which is the Biscuits and Gravy. This time with scrambled eggs (you choose how you want the eggs). The dish came out good, plenty of gravy, and lots of flavor. Their biscuits are their own recipe and they're large and fluffy. The flavor with the creamy gravy is on point. It was another solid trip to Ruby Slippers. If you want to avoid the business of the Ruby Slippers close the French Quarter, this is a great choice with lots of things to do before and after. Service: Good service. The server was attentive and checked back often. Drinks: Full menu. They have lots of brunch beverage options and are known for their Bloody Mary's. Happy Hour: NA, they are open early in the day for breakfast and lunch. Parking: Street Parking Outside Seating: There were a couple of tables outside.

Yelp
We came here for brunch. The kitchen was behind so the waitress warned us early it would be slow. I got the vanilla iced coffee and it was delicious My husband and I got the same things: eggs, bacon, grits, fried green tomato, and a biscuit. The grits were just ok but the green tomato was pure deliciousness. The eggs (over medium) were cooked really well and the biscuit was as good as people tout it to be We sat outside and it was surprisingly comfortable.

Yelp
Food and staff were amazing!! Manager was on point. Only issue I had was this one little boy who kept ruining past our table and out the front door, screaming at the top of his lungs and yelling "mommy mommy mommy" over and over Loved loved loved the staff!!

Lulu R.

Yelp
The food was wonderful. I would add a photo, however, I ate the food too fast and without thinking. I just had fried green tomatoes and poached eggs for breakfast. I am so happy. It was perfectly cooked. The server was amazingly kind. This is definitely a family friendly place. The spiced latte was also incredible.

Claire K.

Yelp
Just had breakfast there with my niece. We both thought we had great service with Claire, our server. The poached eggs were cooked just right and she had a salmon and avocado dish that she thought was delicious. We look forward to returning for another meal.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and wow we were not disappointed! We are so glad we came here and got breakfast. The place was busy so expect a wait but it didn't take long. The service was efficient. Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Keith H.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place for a late breakfast while in New Orleans, and I had a solid meal! We were a party of 3, and we were promptly seated; thankfully, it was not very busy and there was a fair amount of seating available. I tried their Irish Coffee, which was sufficiently boozy and not too sweet. French toast was my entree, and I thought it was well-made. While I did not leave Ruby Slipper thinking I had a standout meal, I thought it was good and would go back again if I was in the area.
google avatar

Dena H.

Yelp
Cute place in Garden District to grab some brunch / breakfast after walking around. Definitely call ahead and add your name to the waitlist since it can get busy. For my meal I got the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit which was pretty good. I also wanted to try grits so I ordered that on the side. They have many menu items to choose from and great for both sweet and savory lovers. Highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
One of the stops on our donut and beignets tour. Nice hot beignet with lemon curd snd blueberries. It was tasty but not the best of all the ones we had. However, the menu board snd other food going by definitely intriguing to want to give this place a try outside of the tour.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious is a total understatement. We ordered the Sweet heat chicken bites, bread pudding pancakes, and a side of biscuits and we truly cannot decide what was best. I'd say the chicken and something sweet are a must try. The cocktails too of course. Our bartender was incredible, helping us through the menu and getting us service quickly even with how busy it was on a Saturday morning.
google avatar

Nora S.

Yelp
Great restaurant that we visited before we toured the Garden District. We got seated right away and they were very accommodating for our party of 10. The food was delicious and everyone left full.

Briyonna C.

Yelp
Frankly, I haven't even tried the food yet. I'm just irritated that they left my grits out of the bag so I had to go back. Before this they gave me the bag, with the syrup I asked for spilled all over the bottom. mind you this happened before they even gave it to me, so I know that they saw it. When I walked in, they were rude. It wasn't a hello.... I said hello. They just stared at me however, when I had to go back to the grits, the ladies were super super sweet and super nice so maybe they just didn't see me / hear me however the folks in the back knew what they were doing, and I don't appreciate it I'm still wiping syrup from everything .... And now? I DONT HAVE SYRUP.

Yelp
This is a perfect brunch spot! The drinks were affordable and delicious. The food, incredible. The service was on point and we went back to back days it was so good! A very cute restaurant with lots of character!
google avatar

Yelp
This was my 2nd visit and it was better than last time. French toast was delicious and so was the vanilla spice latte. Parking was not bad for a St. Patrick's Day Monday. Only about a 5 min wait and service was good. Pancake portion was huge, enough for two people to share. I will definitely be back
google avatar

Jose E.

Yelp
This place is a must, whenever we are in town this is our 2nd stop. The food is crazy good and the service is amazing. We had the chicken biscuit and biscuits and gravy and thy did not disappoint. Good food takes time so be patient

Yelp
This is a cool restaurant right on Magazine Street. Many people I spoke to highly recommended this place. I knew there were several locations in the city but this was the closest one to us. It was busy on a Saturday morning but I found a seat at the bar. It was filled with mostly families and large groups of people going out for brunch. I ordered their Three Little Pigs Omelet which came with bacon, ham, and sausage with Swiss cheese. It was delicious. It had just the right amount of meat inside. It came with grits and a buttermilk biscuit. I never had grits before so that was a first for me. To drink I ordered the Nola Style Iced Coffee. This was French Truck cold brew coffee which is a local coffee chain. I never heard of it before but wanted to try it out. It was good but they served me more ice than coffee which was disappointing. I was hoping for a lot more coffee to keep me running throughout the day. This was a fun place to go to for brunch. I will be back.

Yelp
Such a cute name and ambiance of a place! The fried green tomatoes were very good. We had our toppings on the side. Our meals were nothing too special. This was our least favorite meal in New Orleans. It was not bad but not very tasteful. We loaded up our meals with pepper. Our service was great. If you are looking for a really flavorful meal then I'd say keep looking. I'm surprised at the really high stars of a rating. Again, not bad but no flavor.
google avatar

Evan C.

Yelp
If you are near the Ruby Slipper you have to stop in for brunch! Our rental was right by the Ruby Slipper and we are so happy we chose to stop by. The food was amazing (I had the hot honey chicken biscuit) but everyone in our group loved the food and drinks! The wait went by really quick and we were sat promptly. Our server Katlyn was amazing! Super attentive and so nice! Overall I would highly recommend stopping by!
google avatar

Billie M.

Yelp
I love the food but Ruby Slipper but this is the worst location. They were pretty empty on the weekday morning we went but the service was still slow. Our drinks tasted watered down. The food was great but everything else was subpar compared to what I have grown to expect from Ruby Slipper.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
Classic brunch. Consistently adequate. Fairly priced. Quick service. Great environment.

Larry O.

Yelp
Haven't been to a Ruby Slipper in a few years, so was interested to see how it is not that it has expanded so much. Went with four others. Pros: Food was very good, we got two omelets, two benedicts, a breakfast sandwich, and a pancake on the side. We all ate, no alcohol, for about $100 before tip, which is very reasonable for New Orleans. No wait, the restaurant was almost empty at 8:15 am. Cons: They tried to seat five of us at a four top, even though the restaurant was empty. The table was also dirty. They eventually moved us when we asked for another table. The waitress spilled coffee at our table, did not come back with more napkins or come clean it up. Another waiter spilled gravy all over the floor behind my 80 year old parents, never cleaned it up or warned my parents about slipping on it. Spill was still there 30 minutes later when we left. The water for the tea was cold. When my mom asked it be taken off the bill because the water was never hot, the waitress said they were having a problem with the hot water machine. To me, this says the waitress knew she was brining cold water, never mentioned it or fixed it, and waited for us to say something before she did anything. Summary: Good food and value but horrible service and not cleaning up at least three obvious messes. Probably will not return.

Yelp
This is one of the best breakfast spots I've ever been. Delicious food, definitely more on the unhealthy side but absolutely worth every calorie!!I mean it too
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
So good we had to come here twice!! If you love brunch this is the place to come. Everything we had was amazing. I love that you can get a duo Bennie so you can try 2 flavors in one. The shrimp and grits was the best I ever had here in NO. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had anywhere. All the different pancakes were so light fluffy and flavorful. Even on a Saturday when it was busy we had great service and once a short 35 mins wait. I love the atmosphere very clean and welcoming. I'm a huge wizard of Oz fan so of course I got myself a shirt. If your looks for the best brunch in town this is definitely the place to go!!
google avatar

Joselyn S.

Yelp
Amazing food. The best shrimp and grits I have ever had!! The blueberry pancake was super delicious as well. The batter is perfectly fluffy and not too sweet.

Yelp
visited this location twice in one week - once with some coworkers after a night shift and the second time with some family the morning after a wedding. both times the food was delicious, the staff was very nice and service was pretty quick! will be back

Yelp
Lady friend & I came here because the other one on magazine street was chockablock (maximum capacity and some). It's a real nice spot inside & out. Well decorated. The staff is very nice and very friendly, server stayed and chatted for a little while after we were done. There's many many menu items that sound appetizing but you can't get them all at once. The French toast bites were A-1, everything about them and the syrup was great. The loaded tots with pork and bacon was also incredibly good! Then I had the breakfast sandwich, with chicken sausage. I was not crazy for the chicken sausage...I didn't realize they had regular sausage. If it weren't for that, this whole visit would have been perfect, it was already just about perfect but the chicken sausage threw me all off. Otherwise, the biscuit was good and the shredded pepperjack cheese was a great addition. French fries and scrambled eggs lacked seasoning but no biggie at all. Girlfriend said the grits were amazing, said that that was the best breakfast she'd had in a while so there's that. A fried green tomato, over medium egg. I definitely enjoyed my meal and appetizers, despite the sausage. I also had a Coke and rum, the bill was like $55 or something, so I can't really complain about that price. I would definitely recommend this spot as I've been hearing for years that it was good and finally saw for myself.
google avatar

Yelp
It will come up in recommendations whenever you look up places in Nola for good brunch. It was not bad but i believe a little over rated. Our service was great and food was ok too. Can try some southern favs here. Place gets really busy so be prepared for wait time if going without reservations. Do try their egg benedicts, they are not only good-they have many options too.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Excellent burger and fries. The burger had a nice brioche bun. Fries were nice and crispy. Friendly service here. Nice atmosphere.
google avatar

Myron A.

Yelp
I have added this to my list of NOLA stops when visiting. This place has grits, the type one does not get in California. Pro tip: make sure you pay for parking in the adjacent lot (the free parking is for another restaurant) to avoid an unpleasant surprise upon return to your vehicle.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended by locals so we have it a try while in town. We started off with the beignets, which were pretty tasty. We had their seasonal peach flavored ones but we're disappointed because they were out of the ones we originally ordered. Hubby had the breakfast tacos which he liked. I had the salmon omelet. I wasn't too fond of it but the biscuit and grits were really good. Overall the food and my specialty coffee were good. The waitress was young and inexperienced, so our service was not the best. She took forever just to get our order in, didn't come back to check in us after our food came (delivered by someone else) , and we kept having to flag her down to ask for refills on hubby's coffee. Overall the place was ok. The bathroom was also out of paper towels and the floor was grossly sticky. I would be willing to go back if I was in town again or give their other location a try.

Chris F.

Yelp
To start with I actually really like Ruby Slipper and was surprised at my uneven food I got this past Tuesday. I ordered the "Southern Breakfast" --Bacon, Fried Green tomato, pancakes, biscuits, were all great 5/5 --Ordered a Vanilla iced Coffee and at first it was really good but halfway through had a strong flavor of dish detergent. 1/5 ---The scrambled eggs were squishy and kind of tasted like cheap buffet eggs. The Grits were bland. 2/5 I give the three stars because there was only like 12 people eating so they didn't seem very busy. My Friend ordered an shrimp omelet which he said was excellent.

Yelp
When the family is in town, the Ruby Slipper, Uptown, is our go-to breakfast or brunch. Gets us ready for the trek up and down Magazine Street, and exploring the Irish Channel. I have eaten at several Ruby Slipper locations (there are what, seven, now?), but Ruby Slipper, Uptown, is our favorite. The service is always fast, family friendly and accommodating, which is very helpful when dining with a toddler (Special Thanks to Miah C, you made our experience a success!) The table ordered Southern Breakfasts ($12.75), Three Little Pig Omelettes ($14.24), and Classic Buttermilk Pancakes ($4.25) on the side. Talk about a delicious way to prepare for the day. I always appreciate the spacing between the tables, clean restrooms, and the full bar and reoccurring drink specials - today, it's a Flight of Margaritas. (Hey, it's New Orleans, the sun is ALWAYS over the yard arm :) . The Ruby Slipper, Uptown, a very well deserved Four Stars.

Tiffany M.

Yelp
One of my go to breakfast spots. The food is always good. Staff was nice. My favorite go to dish is the migas.

Yelp
Service is bad slow food isn't good either an staff don't care to service you, food was cold grits was lumpy and cold, don't I mean don't go hear go on old met, road loc. the best

Yelp
Incredible menu, amazing drink selection, and a staff that's so hospitable and attentive! After heavy deliberation, I went with the White Chocolate Banana Pudding Pancakes and was so glad I did - unique, filling, and delicious! And the seasonal beignets hit the spot.

Yelp
While vacationing in NOLA, we had a Garden District Tour scheduled for 10:00 AM with the meeting location at a SBX on Magazine Street. Lucky for us, the Ruby Slipper was right across the street! We easily got a table for 6 inside and were accommodated to a different table once we realized we were right under the AC and it was freezing in there! Our waitress moved us and then arranged to take our table and switch with the waiter assigned to that section. We started with cocktails and lattes. Then tried the Fried Green Tomatoes that were very tasty. The Bananas Foster French Toast was incredible. It was New Orleans style cooked with rum-flambeed bananas and raisins. Served with bacon, it was the perfect breakfast while on vacation. Great service and amazing breakfast. Yummers!

Sona M.

Yelp
Delicious southern breakfast. We were there on MLK day and it was great to see the ties to the community this restaurant has especially after Hurricane Katrina
google avatar

Paul P.

Yelp
Service was the only highlight of this place. Not a big fan of the noisy warehouse ambiance but the food was the real letdown. Basic and staple dishes missed the mark by a mile. Oily and soggy potatoes, lumpy fries, dry biscuits ... list goes on. Disappointing :( Service - 4/5 Food - 2/5 Ambiance- 2/5
google avatar

Becca H.

Yelp
The only place we went in New Orleans we weren't all that impressed with, but it was more the service we were disappointed with than the food. When we came in it wasn't all that busy, maybe about half the tables full. We were seated quickly and that's where our good service ended tbh. We sat for over ten minutes before the host finally came back and took our drink order and probably another five before we met our waitress. She had us order everything in one go (app, entrees, and drinks), brought our drinks, and then didn't come back until after we had our entrees. We probably saw her a total of three times the entire meal and each she was very brusque with us. When we were done eating we had to wait another fifteen until she brought our check. Idk if they were just super understaffed or what, but this just wasn't great. For the food, we got the French toast bites - pretty good but not great. I got a creamy vanilla latte, which WAS very good, probably my favorite thing. I did a Benedict flight, the crawfish one and the pork cochan one. I definitely loved the pork one but found the crawfish one bland. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and he liked it but said the gravy could've used more flavor. GREAT biscuits though! I'd give this place another chance, maybe one of the other locations.

Chad P.

Yelp
This was a great experience! We got there at about 10 on a Sunday and had to wait for a while even though I put myself in on the wait list online. So even though you check in online, make sure that they have it because you might end up waiting a lot longer than you planned. Very busy but overall a great atmosphere! I had the benedict that was pretty standard while my friends have the different variations of eggs benedict. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was just very fresh and very good. Someone had the bananas foster pancakes which tasted so delicious! Overall this was just a great place in the neighborhood to get breakfast and I would highly recommend it! Definitely going to return next time I'm in the area and eat some breakfast with some good friends.

Yelp
A qualified recommendation: Had the "hot" Salmon Avocado toast. Toast was warm, but everything else was fresh from the refrigerator, including the "hot" salmon and the poached egg. So it was cooked ahead of time, stored in the fridge, then assembled and served. My wife liked her Eggs Florentine and cappuccino. My coffee was also good. Server started off poorly when they walked away when I said I was ready to order after my wife. In sum, good coffee and Eggs Florentine. Not so much the rest.

Yelp
I've lived here for 4 years. This place used to be serviceable for a quick breakfast. This place has taken a nose dive since the original owners sold it. I consider it top three worst breakfast spots in New Orleans now.

Yelp
This was an ok spot for breakfast. Our food was good and the restaurant itself was OK. There is nothing really special about it. We got in just before it started getting busy on a Saturday morning. The ambiance was that of a typical breakfast place. The best part to me was our waitress. I hate to say I don't recall her name, but she was full of energy, and she had my wife and me laughing the entire time we were there. I would definitely eat here again.
