Farmworkers Are at High Risk for COVID-19 but Lack Protections | Eater

"A North Carolina strawberry farm reported several COVID-19 cases among its workforce (including eight workers at one site) despite having required gloves and masks and introducing a drive-thru service for customers; the operation temporarily closed at the end of April in response to the outbreak and has since reopened." - Gosia Wozniacka

The very best Stawberrys that I have ever tasted or seen and everyone is so friendly and loving, a very blessed experience!!!!!!! I will definitely go back. Well, worth the time and money!!!!!!!!!!! I'm back again for the third time since my first review and everything is still with out a doubt not only the best Stawberrys but the best produce store that I have been in and I'm from West Virginia and I know produce and people. I know when people are acting a certain way because it's their job or they are just great people who love serving others! Keep up the great work, my brothers and sisters!!!!!!!

I went to Rudd looking for sweet corn in July, and I was not dissappointed. The corn was fresh and sweet and everything it should be in summer. I like the new air conditioned building. I've had their strawberries, cucumbers and Cherokee Purple tomatoes, too. All are delicious.

Rudd has the best tasting strawberries in the Triad. Their new store looks great, and you can buy tomatoes they grow in their greenhouses right now. I'm sure other veggies will be available soon. They also had eggs for $6 a dozen.

Produce was very fresh! Loved the variety they had. We got eggplants, okra, green beans and cucumbers! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. We will be back soon

This place saved the day. We went to a neighboring farm who was quickly totally out of strawberries and we were disappointed but we found this place and the strawberries were amazingly delicious. I also got a cookbook with family recipes that I cannot wait to try! Very cute and easy parking, we will be back! Edit: We have tried several recipes from the cookbook and WOW. The strawberry scones and broccoli casserole are fantastic!!!!

Hey folks!!! Its strawberry time and Rudd Farms has them and I gotta say these things are down right delicious. They not only have strawberries but they also have excellent tomatoes and large eggs. This year the setup is different. Remember driving around a circular gravel drive and everything was done from your car? Well, now they have a stand-alone store with a paved parking lot. You go into the store and pick out what you want. You leave by going on a gravel drive on the right backside of the store and it circles around to where you used to leave from last year. It's a great setup and you'll really like the strawberries....mmmmm....mmmmm...good!!!!

Absolutely the best produce! Don't miss the strawberries when in season, as well as the tomatoes and watermelons. Delicious!

Super friendly staff, true southern courtesy and charm. You can pick your own pumpkin from the field or select one from the tables. They also had other homegrown vegetables available in the store, along with being able to cut your own sunflowers. A great experience and I will be bringing my family back for Strawberry picking in the summer!
