It's not your typical Indian Fare!
I must say Rupa Vira takes you on a taste of India, but to a whole new level; traditional Indian food with a modern take.
When you enter into the restaurant, you are taken in by the beautiful decor.
Now the for the food, we were offered a variety of appetizers 8 in total, all beautifully displayed, and tasty as well.
The appetizers were Kurkuri Tikki: a potato cutlet served with an apricot marmalade and red pepper hummus, lotus stem chaat: crispy lotus stem served atop yogurt, onion fresh fruit and yogurt pearls, shrimp pepper fry, Kasundi fish fry, chili cheese toast, chicken tikka, galouti kebab: flaky paratha and pickled onion, and black currant Dani puri.
We were then offered 4 entrees, Murgh Tikka Masala: boneless chicken cooked in tomato and onion, dum biryani: rice and vegetables, paneer pudina khaas: cottage cheese cooked in a fresh mint cream sauce, daal Rupa vira: lentils, and an assortment of Naan.
There were three desserts offered, phirni with mango panna cotta, gulab jamun trifle, and rashbhari ka ghosla.
We were also introduced to an Indian beer, Rupee premium lager. This beer paired exceptionally well with the food, it was smooth, and went so well with the spices of all the food offerings.
To sum up our evening, we were so impressed with all the food, the beer, and the beautiful decor! Rupa Vira's Celebration restaurant is a must try, and once you try you'll continue to go to!
