Amazing! My wife required me to take her because the bagels and lox are soooo good. We walked in at a slight lull in traffic and after grabbing a number it was called almost immediately. The counter helped us build a couple of bagels and lox from the ample selection. We settled on everything bagels, one with pastrami cured salmon and chive cream cheese . The second one was a daughter's delight. We added some babka to the order as it also looked delicious 🤤 There are small tables and a counter with stools if you want to sit. They also have souvenirs like mugs and T-shirts if that is your thing. We decided to get the food to go and took it back to hotel. Truly I cannot hype enough just how tasty these were. Wonderful taste and texture of the bagel plus the unique flavors of the salmon made for a truly excellent experience. Worth the trip.

Russ & Daughters is the real deal when it comes to the classic NYC bagel experience. I had one of their bagels with lox and it was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Yes, it’s definitely on the pricey side, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality, the tradition, and the whole experience. The staff were amazing too—super friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. It really adds to the vibe. If you’re visiting the city (or even if you live here), it’s definitely a must-try.

We went Saturday around 11 AM. And it was very busy.I would expect this to probably be busy all the time. It may be some of the best bagels I've had in New York City! Meaning as to say it is probably the best bagels I've had ever in the world, EVER. Truly a gem. We even flew a dozen varieties back home with us, and they were just as good the next day! Fun Fact: Russ and Daughters is the first business in America to use the word daughters in the name.

We tried the Mensch—sturgeon on a bagel with cream cheese—which was well-prepared and absolutely delicious. The cheese blintzes were another highlight, rich and comforting, and reminded me of traditional Ukrainian-style blintzes. One thing to note: the ordering system could definitely be more intuitive. When you walk in, you’re supposed to take a paper number from a dispenser and wait for it to be called—but I didn’t even notice the dispenser at first. For new visitors, this setup can be confusing. That said, the space itself is bright, modern, and spacious, with plenty of seating. Overall, it’s a great addition to the Hudson Yards neighborhood, and we’re looking forward to coming back to try more!

Got the classic bagel and lox. It was my first bagel in the US, it was really good. Would be nice if capers and onion and tomatoes were included like some of the other bagel restaurants in town. That being said, it was still a delicious bagel but pricey. Customer service was friendly and efficient. Worth trying

Absolutely gorgeous location, and very clean place to eat overall. We got a salmon and cream cheese everything bagel and added onion and capers. 10/10 was perfect. Also got an egg salad everything bagel which was delicious too, lots of flavour and not too dry. Both very generous portion sizes, could deffo share one between two. The pint of orange juice made the whole meal - best OJ in NYC. Pretty expenny, but I’m not surprised for a place that serves champagne and caviar. If I had a higher budget, I’d definitely have ordered. Get pit stop before you hit the high line and the west village.

Came here last Saturday morning. Great service. Our questions were answered by informed staff and the bagels were bloody good. I opted for meshugge sturgeon, kippered salmon and scallion cream cheese. Also sampled some of the sable which was very good too. Ive not been a fan of bagels in the past but these were very good. Actual bagel had a bit of crunch on outer and tasted good. Lot of choice on menu too - would be good to have a Russ & Daughter in London!!! Plenty of seating and good vibe too. Mixed crowd and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Some very good grafitti nearby too.

Nothing says NYC like a classic smoked fish bagel from Russ & Daughters 🗽✨ I went for the sable, sturgeon and salmon bagel with scallion cream cheese. It was delicious, quite a mouthful. But I kept stuffing it in! Got two pickles on the side, one half and one sour. Great bite to them and good flavour!
