"Thrill-seekers take note of this nearby waterway—the second-largest river in the nine-county Greater San Francisco Bay Area—where canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and more adventure can be had." - Abbe Lewis
You have to visit yourself on a weekday. $10 parking $20 rental of an umbrella for shade. Also, a station for snack bar and rent kayak and wave boarding. The restroom are no pretty, but at least they have restrooms. The scene is beautiful, and the river is COLD but totally worth it. It's warm even for 72 degrees Fahrenheit! Also, do not forget your goggles totally worth looking underneath the water plenty of good sizes fishes!

Great spot to do some activities with friends.
It’s perfect for a little picnic or a bbq.
It’s a great place for tubing or kayaking as well but just make sure you have someone at the end or a different stop to drive you back
Reception is kind of dead here so take that into note

Basically the coolest back road in Sonoma County. Not including the Pacific Coast Highway which doesn’t count. Lots of spectacular views and natural beauty. PLUS a handful of excellent bohemian villages with tons of locally owned shops and restaurants and wineries and more!

Even though the river was a little bit low this year it’s fantastic. Perfect for paddle boarding kayaking and canoeing. This is a great spot in California.

Beautiful but the “beach” was all 2-3 inch rocks and difficult to walk on and really hurts to walk in water barefooted. Need water shoes but even then very bumpy and hard rocks.
