Today, I went to a Turkish restaurant called Rüya London with my friends. The place had an exceptionally high aesthetic appeal. Every dish was delicious, and the service was great. If you book on weekdays through Fork, you can get a 50% discount, which is quite a deal. ⭐️ I recommend these dishes: 🍄 Black Truffle Turkish Pizza with a Poached Egg Seriously, the combination of these ingredients makes it hard not to enjoy! 🐂 Beef Marrow with Chickpea Mash The chickpea mash was incredibly smooth, and the beef marrow added a rich, fatty flavour. 🍕 Lahmacun This is a thin and crispy Turkish lamb pizza. Whether you love lamb or pizza, this won't disappoint you. 🐚 Oysters The oysters were a bit small, but they tasted great with the tangy and sweet sauce they were served with. 🔥 Grilled Lamb Chops They were juicy, tender, full of charcoal flavour, and bursting with juices. Even the meat on the bones was flavorful. Desserts: 🧀 Their signature dish is a honey pastry that takes 20 minutes to make. Inside, there's stretchy cheese, and it's topped with pistachio ice cream. Although it's a bit sweet, it's really delicious. 🍨 The sesame ice cream is also quite tasty, just a tad sweet.

We came last night and had an amazing experience! The atmosphere is lovely (especially now with a Xmas touch). The food was amazing, with a special mention for the 24-hour short ribs. We tried a few restaurants in the area and I would say that this one is so far our favorite! Thanks also to our waiter Annas who was really kind and gave us good advice about the menu We gonna definitely come back

Ruya London is beautifully designed and surprises with a very cozy yet stylish atmosphere. The mocktails we drank are world class. The dishes were all cooked to perfection and flavored delicately. We truly enjoyed our dinner and the fantastic service. Big thank you for arranging a nice birthday treat at the end for my sister. Well done team Ruya! Non Veg foodies in London, go and try this exceptional restaurant you will love it! Don’t forget to pay a hefty bill. But it’s totally worth it.

Visited RUYA London and loved it! The decor was stunning, and the food was fantastic. Highlights included the feta cheese and goat curd with pistachio, the tender octopus with fava beans, and the flavorful truffle pide. The sea bass with pistachio crust was excellent, and desserts like kanefeh and sikolata were top-notch. Special thanks to Can for the excellent service. We used The Fork app to get discount on the food. Definitely worth it.

We stopped by Rüya London on two different nights during the same week and had vastly different experiences. The first experience was amazing. They serve mastic liquor which was fantastic to find out of Greece/Turkey, the service was good, and the food was wonderful (they serve delicious Turkish pide). The space was intimate and I heavily lobbied to return. But on our second visit? There was a DJ in the small restaurant. I have to say I dislike it when restaurants have DJs. The sound engineering is usually unpleasant and in this instance the balance was off and the volume too high for such a small space. Our second time around the service was slower and less warm and we ended up deciding to take the food to-go because the atmosphere just wasn't for us. Everything considered, overall I'd give them a four with the heavy caveat that I'd call ahead to check DJ hours before visiting.

Food is ok but it's quite expensive. The restaurant is very empty even when we go on a Thursday night. Wait staffs seem inexperienced but nice.

Such a good find! Really tasty and well seasoned Turkish food. The restaurant itself is huge and has beautiful turquoise Mediterranean detailing all over and evil eyes. We had a birthday and they treated us so well! Great service. Get the truffle fries, eggplant dip and Turkish coffee.

Excellent place at Mayfair London. I won't forget smoked eggplant was 5 star Tried to give yeni rakı instead Efe gold but taste was different manager apologized and changed the drinks. One of the boss boy while bringing dropped the open wine bottle to table they cleaned and changed our table also they provide their business card just in case we need some dry clean,gestures was real good. We tried all tasting menu yes try this place you will like it .

I had seen this place in Mayfair during my previous London trips but didnt have a chance to explore it. So next time I visited London, Rüya was on the top of my list! As a Turkish person who lives in the States, I love exploring Turkish food in London. Rüya is stunning considering all the run down not even traditional or modern at all turkish restaurants I see everywhere. I was very proud to finally see a high end Turkish restaurant. The food was great, definitely adjusted to everybody's taste instead of very strong very typical middle eastern taste. Drinks were fantastic! I brought my friend who is a chef with me and she was very happy with her experience as well. Filippo and Mariana went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and this kind of professionalism always adds to my experience in a restaurant. Künefe was amazing!! Thank you!

I was in London for seven days, Ruya was my favorite meal by far. 5 stars in all categories, a wonderful dining experience. Watching Chef and the kitchen work was like auditing a semester at Le Cordon Bleu.

I really wanted to give them more stars because the food was amazing but it came out no more than 30 seconds after we ordered which is both concerning and off putting. We spent a total of 25 minutes dining in the restaurant because of this - I wanted to enjoy my dinner. The drinks were good but very funky. We didn't try the sommelier they are known for but maybe you should?? Our table was mostly disregarded in favor of the tables with older men who were going to be drinking more but I felt we should all be treated equal. My only other comment is the rampant sexism of the staff. I went to dinner with my male partner and everything was directed at him. I wasn't mad about the bill being given to him though :)

We came here and I have to say that the coordination between the kitchen and the waiters is amazing. We ordered lahmaçun with truffles but we heard the chef explaining to the waiter why they don't have truffles and we had it with extra cheese. All this was done with extreme respect. This is a big positive in terms of my first impression due to the excellent communication. This is my Abe review: We ordered: 1.borek: this was filled with cheese and a hint of mint. This was unique because it had carrots and spinacg 2. Egg plant (Aubergine parmagiano): i could see the sumak on it, looks amazing. Aubergine slices, nice and sweet, very light. The moutabbal dip was not overpowering. 3. Cheese pide with egg on top: this was truly a comforting taste bud adventure. The cheese melts in your mouth and the bread has a crunch to its crust. The egg which was smothered on top of the pide was amazing. 4. lahmaçun: there is a spicy kick to this which hits you as you finish your morsel of this light bread delight. There is an amazing crunch to this culinary creation in which you can truly appreciate this Turkish food. 5. Salad: the salad is finely chopped and has a unique tomato sauce which is not really overempowering. It is freshly prepared and you can taste the freshness. 6. Kaskak: this was the star of the main courses. The lamb meat melts in your mouth. There is a unique sweet and savoury taste to this Turkish grainy delight. It is a beautiful mouth orgasm initiator. You can taste the hint of lemon in the meat, which means that the marination is on point! 5. Yogurtlu Kebab: the meat was doner meat which is the authentic style. The sauce could have been more in amount. Not enough yoghurt. It seemed that the bread at the bottom of the dish was fried pre- prepared. Nothing special. 6. Kunefe: sweet, cheezy and the pistachio ice cream complimented if not heightened the sugary heavenly experience. 7. Turkish coffees: authentic, strong. Only downside is that there was no small glass of water and lokum that usually comes with it. Service staff: very friendly and helpful. The service was very quick and as soon as we finished one dish, the other came. So this is on the whole what a seasoned restaurant customer should expect. So the service was of a high standard. Price: £154

Ruya is perfect. The food references a lot of flavorful staples from the former Ottoman Empire, and gives them a creative twist. This is done thoughtfully, consistently and without excess. The staff care and it shows. I have no explanation for the bad reviews. People must have been in a bad mood.

To start with taking reservations was such a nightmare ,the way they spoke as they were making us a favor, the service was poor the communication is bad . The food is okaish nothing special . The prices are over over rated . Won't go back again for sure .
