Allegedly best seafood restaurant in Abu Dhabi, so after Catch, Fish Market at Intercontinental and great eateries at actual fish market at Mina Zayed, my expectations were high.
Well, while service was very good (but not amazing- e.g. waiter brought grilled shrimps which MUST be served hot at once, but he set them aside and wasted 10 minutes on fixing salads, so shrimps came just warm), the food was not amazing at all and barely great.
Crab/avocado salad was good, rocket salad very unexciting, shrimps were either overdone or after the freezer - not juicy at all, plus they were burned and peeling was very difficult - incomprehensible for prime fish restaurant. Octopus was good, though, but for main courses - sea bass was good but not more, you can easily get better fish at Al Shader, and biryani was also very good but not amazing.
Even aircon is blowing straight to the heads, which should not be existing in the best restaurant.
So overall it was a disappointment, as Michelin star and title of the best restaurant carries much of responsibility, which need to be supported.
