If you are looking for pub food, here is the place to go. I came with a big group of about 16 persons and we had a pleasant experience. The waiter was attentive, the food came out quickly and it was all delicious. The serving sizes are manageable and very tasty. They also have adequate seating which was helpful for the large group. We would come back!

Custom made cocktails with some decent bourbon always crowded. What I have enjoyed here is the mixoligists seem to be well versed in bourbon drinks (as they should). Also, even in the crowds I have always been able to get my cocktail reasonably quickly.

Lots of whiskey and friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend the Flatiron Manhattan, it had something cinnamony in there an it wasn't good. Cubano was good tho.

Good food and drinks (I had the Autumn Breeze). Nice atmosphere. The grilled salmon with baby spinach was so good as were the brussel sprouts (under "bites" on the menu). Nice place overall.

Nice spot to hangout with friends with good music and just the right lighting. They have great range of beers and cocktails. Decent food portions. Definitely recommended.

Had a great night here with friends in the back room seating. Bar up front looked cool. Their Manhattans are excellent and their apple cobbler was great too. Very rustic with that vanilla ice cream on top to cool it all down! Our waitress was also very efficient and helpful. Would definitely go again to try more of their menu.

Very different from your typical touristy fare around Union Square, Rye bar is cozy, dimly lit, and intimate. Drinks are cheap but great and the ambiance is very cool. I liked the beer selection ( a full page of beers and not your typical brews) and I really liked how the servers didn't bother you every ten minutes for more drinks. Another great part is the whiskey selection (hence the namesake) and I was really impressed. Though I'm not a whiskey pro, friends of mine have thought the selection was great! Overall, amazing place to go with a date or with friends and very different from the typical Union Square bars.

Great service, excellent food, and the whiskey selection is wonderful. I highly recommend the roasted chicken dinner.
