Rustic grilled meats & seafood in intimate parlor-like dining room

"Patagonia Sur is located in an old red, blue, and yellow house in La Boca. This fine dining spot sort of feels like an Art Deco-style hotel lobby, with bookshelves, chandeliers, antique rugs, and white sofas, all next to a hanging sphere-shaped stove. The menu highlights food from the Southern region of Argentina, with things like humita, a corn cake with garlic and cheese. There are only a few tables in the dining room, so you’ll definitely want to make a reservation for dinner." - Martín Chavesta
"The flagship restaurant from Argentine celebrity chef Francis Mallman serves rustic grilled meat and seafood dishes in an intimate, parlor-like dining room. Reservations are a must. The chef also operates restaurants in Uruguay, Miami, Chile, and France. Read a full recap of Francis Mallmann’s Chef’s Table episode here." - Greg Morabito
"He cooks with wood fire and cast iron at his three resolutely South American restaurants: 1884 Francis Mallmann, in the Argentine wine region of Mendoza; Patagonia Sur, in Buenos Aires; and the Hotel & Restaurant Garzon in Uruguay." - Food & Wine Editors
