We dined here on a Sunday night and the vibe was great and the food was amazing. Our server Sara deserves a 10/10 for being a phenomenal waitress and guided us to make some good food choices and was so pleasant to deal with. We dined on the Pork Belly Bao buns and they were so good we ordered a 2nd batch. We also had the Tuna Tataki and the Truffle Avocado both were delish. We still had room an ordered 3 rolls, the Mango Bliss, Lobster Delight and the Steakhouse Roll. YOU HAVE TO ORDER the Steakhouse Roll!!!! WOW! Definitely worth visiting this restaurant since it won't disappoint and its worth the wait and $$.

Attended this restaurant this evening and the service and food were both excellent! We came in without a reservation and they instantly sat us down. Our server, Christopher I believe, was very well mannered and was very helpful navigating the menu. I recommend ordering the Chirashi bowl. Very similar to a poke bowl and one of the best I’ve had, everything on it was so fresh. Great atmosphere, a little loud with the music and echo from other guests but I guess that comes from a smaller restaurant. Overall recommend!

Boyfriend and I were craving sushi and we were in the area, so we decided to try it out. We came for a late lunch and luckily, it wasn’t too busy. I hadn’t heard much about this place, but the staff were super super sweet and so friendly. We had Juan, and he was so great and never rushed us! Definitely a new favorite for us and we WILL be back!

Google
It's not bad, but purely for sushi there are far better options in the city, including one good spot just a few miles away. Most notably, the fish list is extremely spartan: tuna, salmon, yellowtail, eel, scallop. That's it. Lacking some common items you'd find most places, much less the more interesting stuff. Quality of fish is good. Preparation of nigiri could be a little better; a bit heavy on the rice, and the rice was maybe a little dense or under-seasoned. Scallop nigiri with miso butter was a good flavor combination. Salmon with truffle oil and lime zest could have been really good but was overpowered by truffle; it doesn't take more than a few drops with that stuff. On a positive note I do like the space and atmosphere. It's in a sweet spot that's like nice enough to go for a date, but not too formal either. Solid, friendly service. Some small tune-ups on the nigiri, and maybe a handful of off-menu specials, I think would pull this up to a 4/5 for me.

Google
Top-notch / world-class sushi served in a sleek, stylish environment with incredible service and a large service team ensuring the enjoyment of your meal. This place is terrific. Everything we tried was amazing. And they even have a kids menu with super fun kids plates. I’d suggest kids earlier in the evening or outside and if you’re coming on a date come during prime time. Oshen will not disappoint! It is a new favorite for us!!!!

Google
So good, so fresh, will definitely make this a regular spot! A pleasantly surprising yum. Anthony is fantastic, takes such good care of his customers and so attentive to everything happening in the dining room. Alex took such good care of us too. Overall food, drinks, service top notch!

Liz D.

Google
The food and service were out of this world! Sara made the experience incredible and was super accommodating giving us a chance to sit outside, even though it was raining. A quick shout out to the general manager as well for making this happen. The rain did not stop her magnificent service. Everything was explained perfectly, and we only snapped photos of dessert because we were having such a good time! Thank you for celebrating our friend’s anniversary with us!

Ilona D. B.

Google
Our new favorite! Fresh fish, exciting menu, excellent staff, modern and elegant decor, clean restrooms. Everything we ordered was delicious! Do not skip the dessert! The passion fruit tart was scrumptious.

Yelp
Food and experience were both sublime. Will be returning. Felt completely taken care of here.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from Oshen. We were both craving sushi and Oshen was running a special so we decided to give it a try. We got the Philly roll, hono maki roll l, edamame and chicken hibachi. Everything was soooo good. It was close to the best sushi I have had in charlotte. The details in how the food was packed from the restaurant is also impressive. You could tell the servers spent time preparing everything and even included a little tray for soy sauce. If I didn't have young kids we would go in person for sure. I have already ordered delivery a few more times!

Yelp
Decided to check out this spot since we were craving some sushi. The sushi was great, but it was the tuna tartar with crispy rice as well as the jalapeno hamachi that stole the show. Give the wasabi cocktail a try, it was delish. Service was on point too! However, I gave this spot only 3 stars because of a big mishap...dessert!!! We ordered the Japanese cheesecake and it had to be the worst we EVER TASTED. It was VERY dry instead of being its famous fluffy and soufflé like texture like it should have been. It was either baked far too long (if made fresh) or not thawed at all (if frozen). It literally tasted like eating a dry biscuit. I was looking forward to it and it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Hope that was a one off mistake. Anyhow, we may give this spot another try but there is too much competition and so many good Asian spots out there to choose from in the Charlotte area.

Yelp
It's been a while since we ate at Oshen but based on my notes and recollection the food was "different". I'm usually a stickler for authenticity when it comes to my cuisine preferences but I have to admit I was surprised to enjoy the fusion fare of this restaurant. The flavored edamame was a bit of a revelation. It was, for lack of a better word, mildly addictive. The beef sushi was a little cloying after a few bites. Not too fond of it. Good to experience though. The tuna roll was surprisingly tasty. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. The ambiance was a bit avant-garde and fusion-y. And to be honest, didn't really appeal to me. Too bourgeoisie for my taste. Overall I rate the food a B. Service is an A, and ambiance is a B. Solid 4 stars. So the final question then is, will I come back? Maybe. This restaurant for me was a one and done kind of deal.

Yelp
Great prices, a sleek and cool ambiance, delicious food, fabulous service, and FREE parking! Dishes I love: - Edamame: Cooked in a Wok (life changing!!) and topped with ponzu and chili garlic - Steak House Roll - Black Sea Bass - Shishito Peppers The owners behind the successful Yunta, La Lima, and Viva Chicken knew what they were doing with the opening this restaurant!

Yelp
So I came to this place years ago when it was a Mexican restaurant and since then they kept changing ownership. Finally checked this place out and didn't realized it was in the same building I used to go to. The place definitely change 180. The decor is nice and it's a pretty change. Came here on a Friday night around 5:30 and it was already busy. We ended up sitting at the bar. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would say the udon had a sour taste that I wasn't a fan of. My first bite of salmon felt like it had bones in it but I couldn't tell and just continue chewing. The hamachi, I was expecting jalapeno slices on top and didn't realized it was a sauce and it was spicy. Too spicy for me haha. The presentation was pretty. The drinks were good. I would definitely come here again. The staff and people are nice and friendly. Such a good fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Solid 4.5 sushi spot. I tried the salmon nigiri, lobster tartare, steak roll, and chicken karage. The salmon nigiri and lobster tartare were both 5 star dishes, and the steak roll and chicken karage were 4 star dishes. I would love to see a wagyu nigiri added to the menu, I bet it would be a big seller. Overall I like the menu, the food was tasty, and the place seemed nice and clean inside. I have to say my favorite sushi in charlotte is Kappo En (RIP soon), and my favorite non omakase nigiri actually comes from Yunta.

Yelp
I grabbed takeout here over the weekend, but the restaurant is beautiful on the inside so I definitely plan to dine in. Easy online ordering and pictures, which are always appreciated. I ordered the beef dumplings and the steakhouse roll. I don't typically do fried rolls because they are hit or miss, but this was actually my favorite part of the meal. The beef was a sweet stir fry and the fried outer part was crunchy and not dried out. The beef dumplings were really good as well, and came with spicy type of chili oil. The other thing I liked was the packaging-each item is labeled with the customers name and order. Very efficient. I was happy with the portion and the price. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Yelp
Amazing experience! Drew was our waiter and he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. From start to finish, we had a great time. The drinks and food were delicious and fresh. Each menu item is offers a unique taste experience, which makes it hard to choose a favorite. All of the staff were personable and top notch. The only complaint I'd have is the music was a little loud, but that fits the lively vibe of the restaurant :) -- definitely would love to come back soon.

Yelp
The place was incredible! Our waiter was amazing, super attentive and gave the best recs. The place is super busy but still had an intimate feel. The food is incredible also. Top bites were the hamachi jalapeño crudo that came with the best sauce, the tuna tartare that you should definitely get with the crispy rice crackers and the scallop nigiri. 10/10 already planning on going back. For sure make a reservation bc it was super busy and you probably wouldn't be able to get a table until late if you walk in.

Yelp
Wow! Blown away! Easily one of the top sushi places in the city. I got their salmon nigiri which was topped with I think lime grass and truffle oil. Flavor explosion! Then their Dorogan(sp.) Roll. Full of flavor, incredibly fresh fish, especially the tuna. The service was also some of the best I have ever received. The decor and interior are also simply stunning. Cannot wait to go back! Also very impressed with their wine list as well.

Yelp
Sat at the bar ~6:15p on Friday night - Both bartenders were very attentive and friendly (I am blanking on their names as I type this) and obviously worked well together. It was clear that both the front and back of house staff truly cared, someone spent the time to train thoroughly them and set expectations, and that every team member was aligned on meeting those expectations. Bravo to the GM we saw running around with a huge smile all night. Shoutout to the bar manager who served us and went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience and to the #girlboss on expo balancing the insane to-go volume without sacrificing the dine-in experience. As industry peeps, we have next level respect for a team that holds themselves to this standard and were thoroughly impressed. I'll mostly let the pictures speak to the food, but know that everything was fantastic. We started with the shishitos. I would eat anything covered in that sauce. Nigiri - We tried the yellowtail, yellowfin, scallop, and honeymoon. My hubby has already decided we need to go back and get the canoe (includes pieces of every nigiri) because the pairings were perfectly done and the quality of the fish was amazing. (If you only try one, the soy butter scallop is the way to go.) We also had the lobster tartare (definitely get the crispy rice) and the streakhouse roll. The space is small (they turned tables fairly quickly so if there's a wait, I'd suggest sticking around!) and it is loud as a few reviews have mentioned but not unbearable. Love that they have outdoor space! I honestly can't say enough good things - We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Had the miso soup, eel nigiri, salmon nigiri, and sanshu roll. Everything was delicious. Service was wonderful. The restaurant itself is beautiful. I definitely recommend!

Yelp
Friday dinner with friends. It's a restaurant with limited seatings and a bar, so reservations would be nice. Our server was pretty caring as we were a large group. Food came out at a good pace. Food recommended: the edamame was flavorful with a bit spicy taste; the hamachi jalapeno crudo (was recommended by the server)'s sauce was good; the sanshu roll's wasabi blended very well with the roll. Chirashi bowl gave the option to have the personal choice of ingredients. The yaki udon was way too salty. However the manager made another one for us with the soy sauce on the side. I really wish the restaurant could be a little bit quieter. The music was playing loudly so I had to shout out to my friends at the other end of the table which made my dinner tiring. It was a bit frustrating that it was also somehow hard for the communication between me and the server when ordering food. We tried to hear each other but the music was simply overwhelming over our voice.

Yelp
This new place is a GEM!! It's located in a shopping strip near Rea Road, but the place seems almost too cool for such a suburban strip. Yet, I'm so glad it's not located uptown, where you have to deal with all the parking hassles. Not that it's super-flashy or anything like that. The place itself is small and modest, but has a nice, clean Japanese ambiance. The menu is also on the small side, but quite unique...with many items that were appealing to me. Also surprising was their friendly pricing. For my first time, I tried the Oshen Salad, Steak House Roll, and this Japanese Cheesecake, which came with a fruity dip. Well, everything was AMAZING. Not only delicious, but nicely presented too. Not only did the foods come out quickly, the service was very friendly and attentive throughout. I can't wait to try more items on their menu. Must return soon...for both lunch and dinner!

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was as well. Will definitely be back here again love the atmosphere and the music played. :)

Yelp
Put this restaurant on your favorites list immediately! Oshen has some of the best food I have had in a very long time. The staff was amazing, the decor was spot on (I couldn't stop looking around at it all), and the presentation was perfect! We loved everything, down to the silverware and all. The prices were very reasonable and I couldn't stop wanting to order more food. I even got some food to take home. I have already recommended Oshen to many people and will continue to do so!

Yelp
5 stars!!! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambiance and great prices for the quality! Definitely make a reservation, the restaurant was full all night. When I arrived I was pleasantly greeted by the waiter who was very good at refilling our waters and checking in on us all night. The ambiance is nice, it feels casual with a flair of high end and the details on the place from the logo to the napkins were perfectly thought out. For food you cannot go wrong. We ordered family style and tried a variety of dishes. Our favorites were the salmon nigiri (so fresh) and the doragon roll. But everything was amazing. Highly recommend trying this place out!
google avatar

Keifer S.

Yelp
The service was 5 star. They put limes on my rim, over the top attentive. I've never tipped more than 30% in my life - until I went here. It was worth it. Food was great and service was most excellent.
google avatar

Cory C.

Yelp
Not sure how I never knew about this place but it was outstanding! The service was on point, if a little slow, and everyone was super friendly and attentive. Everything that I tried was high quality and worth the price. I honestly think they could get away with slightly higher prices with the quality of food and service the provide. I will say that the Miso soup was VERY onion flavored, as one other person noted, but I don't mind that .
google avatar

Sydney Y.

Yelp
We loved this place so much, we went twice in one week. The service is top-notch, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the vibe is boujee for South Charlotte. The sushi is incredibly fresh, some of the best nigiri I've had in Charlotte and the drinks are just as impressive. We've sat both at the bar and at a table, and each visit was consistently great. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high-quality sushi spot in South Charlotte!
google avatar

Peggy G.

Yelp
The food was very good and so was the service. We tried the shisito peppers and their rolls. We had a non-fish lover and they got the steak rolls and steak fried rice. Not too many options for them but was satisfied with what he got. Nice bright and open place. Crowded - book early
google avatar

Swaz F.

Yelp
The highlight of this first visit was the presentation of the Miso soup. It was very delicious and entertaining to have it poured into our bowls at the table. Service was very attentive and on point. There were more staff there than customers during our visit. The price was a bit high but this is probably due to the location however when compared to Baku I think I would choose Baku over Oshen for dinner. It is a decent place to meet friends for sushi lunch. Great atmosphere!
google avatar

Evan D.

Yelp
Stopped by for another fantastic dinner at the bar. Service from the bartender Hormi is impeccable. What more can one ask for? Good service, fresh food, beautiful atmosphere. There's a reason why every seat was occupied and walk-ins weren't available until 9:30pm when I came at 7pm. Packed house.

Daneen G.

Yelp
With so many sushi options, Oshen sets itself apart with its Miami vibe and southern hospitality. Service was impeccable, food delicious, and for a single lady looking for an experience with dinner, Oshen fit the bill to a T. Will definitely be back often.
google avatar

Emizz Z.

Yelp
Being from the team behind Yunta, service is impeccable! They just opened so definitely expect some kinks. The highlight: - service is 5 - scallop nigiri is smooth like butter - cocktails
google avatar

Jennie N.

Yelp
Service is amazing! Food was a hit or miss. We ordered a lot but there were the standouts: Shishito Peppers - nice char, a little bit sweet, the mushrooms were a great touch Salmon Carpaccio - fresh and light, umami taste Scallop Nigiri - buttery and creamy Chicken Karage - chicken was soft and moist, I really liked the breading they used The not so greats: Black Cod Misoyaki - very disappointed with how this turned out. The sauce was great but the fish was definitely overcooked. We ordered it twice to make sure it just wasn't a one off thing but the second fish also came out very chewy. Yuzu Lo - wasn't a big fan of this sushi Overall I had a great experience even though we were rained on but like I said the service is AMAZING and they brought out a second umbrella for us. Prices weren't overly expensive so I would definitely go again.
google avatar

Anya P.

Yelp
The food is really good here the rolls are the only thing I probably pass on but everything else is phenomenal
google avatar

Stacy Y.

Yelp
We went here for my father's 84th birthday lunch. The service was five star+. The level to detail and attentiveness was outstanding! The food was fantastic. Our favorites were the edamame, Shishito peppers, Scallop Nigiri and Sanchu roll. They brought out a Keylime pie dessert with a flaming sparkler to celebrate his day. It was just the icing on the cake! This is a must try if you are in the area.
google avatar

Kunal P.

Yelp
We celebrated our daughter's 11th Birthday at Ochen, the staff and the GM Anthony made it a special night for her. The food was amazing, and the service and staff were amazing. Best restaurant in Charlotte!
google avatar

Amelia B.

Yelp
The most amazing sushi, and soo great with Celiac/gluten free diners. This is one of my favorite newer restaurants in town. The drinks our immaculate (and their bartender, Ormi, is a gem), and the service is wonderful, but the food is really superb. Don't sleep on the edemame, crispy rice crackers with tuna tartare, and the scallop nigiri.
google avatar

Cole M.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING!!! The food, atmosphere, staff, attention to detail is everything. My waiter Camilo was so pleasant!!
google avatar

Pandi M.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place and finally so happy I did. Dainty but full of energy. I absolutely loved everything I had. From the tap water, offering before we asked lemon, lime, or oranges twist. I thought was great service! We were honored to have Hormi as our vivacious waiter/mixologist! He's great! He answered all my questions and gave his top favorite, which I must say is mine now. The Fried rice with lobster was absolutely marvelous and my forever favorite! We also had Tuna tataki, Mango bliss sushi , and Sunomono. For drinks we had Spicy watermelon margaritas but we held the spice. Delightfully delicious with a generous slice of watermelon too. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Carol R.

Yelp
Everything we had was great - the edamame, yellowtail nigiri, and salmon nigiri especially. You can taste the quality ingredients from the fresh fish to the homemade sauces. The vibe is much more chill than sister restaurant, Yunta, but the service is just as good. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
I had dinner recently at Oshen. The remodel of the somewhat small space is spectacular. Soothing neutral palate of creams, brown & slate blue. A cool wooden, wave-like art element lines one wall and the industrial ceiling is painted a soothing slate blue. The pendant light fixtures are a nice touch. The floor is a creamy ceramic tile and tables are light stained wood. There's a small but welcoming bar in the far corner. Comfortable and relaxing is the vibe. Hostess staff welcomed us and were friendly and quickly seated us. We started with water and the server brought out a tray of thinly sliced limes, lemons & oranges and he offered to place whatever we would like in our water. Next up, we ordered drinks. Lychee & basil martini and a glass of wine. Both were good. The menu is well-rounded although the "Bites" or appetizer section could have used a crunchy shareable option (calamari?). They had a nice selection of crudo & tartare and we opted for the spicy tuna tartare. You then choose between Japanese milkbread or rice crackers w/ your tartare. We chose the rice crackers. What arrived was a lovely mound of cubes of tuna seasoned w/ sesame and soy and topped w/ thinly sliced avocado. The rice crackers were not crackers but rather deep-fried rice cakes breaded w/ tiny chewy balls that stuck in our teeth. The cakes were awkward and we had to break them apart with our fingers to eat with the lovely tuna. I would have preferred actual rice crackers. Maybe the milkbread would be a better choice? The tuna should be the star attraction. Next we had the pork belly "bao buns" (that's redundant). They were great. Sweet soy pork belly on fluffy bao w/ crunchy pickled carrots & radish. A nice balance of flavors. Lastly, we the Sanshu roll. Yellow fin tuna, salmon, hamachi, avocado and rice wrapped in soy paper w/ a wasabi dressing on the side. Every piece fell apart when we attempted to pick it up. Not tightly wrapped and a bit of a mess to eat after it fell apart. Impossible to dip in the dressing. Disappointing. I think the food has great potential. I love the other restaurants in this group and so I'm hopeful Oshen will find its groove. I would like to add that we found the service extremely intrusive. There was constantly someone at our table. It was difficult to carry on a conversation bc someone was always coming to fill our water glasses. 1-2 sips of water and someone was table side to fill us back up. That's too much. Charlotte has been notorious for bad service so I appreciate the owners desire to give good service. But this was extreme overkill, in our opinions. The experience was mixed for us but we are rooting for Oshen. These experienced restaurateurs will find the right balance. Cheers.

Yelp
Wonderful new restaurant- food and service is outstanding! A very happy place; staff genuinely interested in providing a good experience. Food definitely above average with prices that are reasonable. Sushi of course but also many items available for non-sushi fans. We had tuna tataki, shishito peppers, beef dumplings, tuna and scallop nigiri, spicy tuna sashimi (make sure you get the crunchy rice crackers) and a light Japanese cheesecake for dessert. Reservations available. (A few seats at bar are available without reservations.)
google avatar

Yelp
Birthday celebration was perfect at Oshen. Excellent freshly prepared food and reasonable prices make this upscale restaurant special for any occasion. The chocolate cake with sparkler was the best part of the evening with all the staff singing Happy Birthday. What a great time and thank you to all the wonderful staff for an extra special evening.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a lunch order for takeout, and I was really happy with the experience. I ordered right before I left home, and my food was ready when I arrived 10 minutes later. The server greeted me and opened the door to welcome me. The host/manager was really friendly and made sure I had all the sauces. The restaurant was modern but cozy. It was a large lunch crowd. The food was delicious and packaged very well. We had the bento plate which was only $12 and I split a sushi roll with my husband. It was all very filling. I would definitely patronize this restaurant again in the future, hopefully while dining in.

Yelp
Jose was a great waiter super friendly. The salmon carpaccio and yellowtail jalapeño were both melt in your mouth good. Our rolls were delicious too! The sanshu and hanomaki.

Yelp
HFS! I don't give this away very easy! As a huge sushi brat who's tried every place in CLT, this place is tops. I'm shocked that it has moved into my #1 place. And trust me I don't give this honor away easy. The fish is fresh and the inventive rolls are pure art. The wine selection is impressive and the service is on point. The cool ambiance is modern and clean. Love the food here and can't wait to be back. Worth the trip.

Lance R.

Yelp
Food is great. Service is the challenge. We always feel rushed. The cadence is go go go. Our water glass drops to 75%, two people rush over to fill. It is not a dining experience, it is good food quickly. I can't take business there since there.is no private time to converse. It is what it is, but I prefer not to be rushed to eat sushi. Will continue to dine there, but never a special occasion where the company is as important as the food. If you can't enjoy your company . . . I think they should read unreasonable hospitality to truly understand what makes a restaurant great.
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
Excellent service and food. Everything has been so good every time we've come here - 3x now at least. More than just sushi. Top top marks.

Rich L.

Yelp
Really good service while sitting at the bar where I received a complementary glass of Cava. Good selection of nigiri and sushi rolls.

Yelp
I tried Oshen recently with a few girlfriends for lunch on a Saturday. I was excited to try it but was left underwhelmed as were my friends. We ordered quite a few dishes to share and try: - Shishito peppers - Hamachi Jalapeño Crudo - Yuzu-lo Roll - Sanshu Roll - Japanese Fried Rice with shrimp - Black Cod Misoyaki - Chicken Karaage - Beef Dumplings My friends and I thought the best items were the chicken karaage, black cod, and shishito peppers. The chicken karaage was lightly crisp and juicy while the black cod was buttery and melted in your mouth as it should be. The shishito peppers were good too. The eggplant and shiitake mushrooms made the dish in my opinion. The dumplings were so-so. They were lacking in flavor and unmemorable. I thought the hamachi crudo was good but one friend thought the hamachi was fishy. The jalapeño cream served with it gave it a nice kick though. The shrimp fried rice was fine too but didn't wow us. This time another friend thought the shrimp was fishy. We also thought the sushi was fresh but again, unmemorable. The sushi we had reminded me of what I've had at Yunta (Oshen and Yunta are owned by the same people). I would consider the cuisine served to be Japanese fusion as most items on the menu are untraditional. Service was good overall but at times it felt like the server was hovering. Oshen has only been open a month so maybe they still need to work out some kinks. The menu also didn't have a ton of options and it's Japanese fusion. If you're looking for traditional Japanese, I'd go elsewhere. However, Oshen has a nice ambiance (it's clean and bright inside) and a good cocktail and alcohol menu if that's what you're looking for. Also, our group noted we were the only Asians in Oshen and the restaurant was full so take it for what it's worth!
google avatar

Brittany D.

Yelp
We enjoyed our first experience at Oshen! We were fortunate to go in early enough to grab seats at the bar. I think there's some room for improvement but overall, it was very good. Some of the sushi we had was room temp, maybe because of the rice, but should have been cold. The cocktails were excellent and our bartender, Orbi (apologize for spelling), was awesome! The rice crackers - get them! It's a side to a tartare but they were awesome! Skip the milk bread. One this I would recommend, have soy sauce out for the bar and wasabi served with sushi.

Yelp
Our waitress was Veyanca The service was incredible. The wait team they all worked together, so the process was really smooth and fast. The food service was very quick. I ordered a second roll of sushi went to the bathroom and came back. It was already there. The ambience reminded me of a restaurant in Japan. It was very nice and the price is affordable for fine dining with two people.

Yelp
After reading numerous reviews, we settled on trying Oshen. It started out a little rocky as we were literally the first people there (after 6:00 pm). We questioned everything at that point, but were determined to go forward. Within 10 minutes the place was nearly full, which not only made us feel better, but reinforced our decision. The sushi itself was good overall, very tasty and flavorful. The service was great, no issues at all and highly recommend Oshen. BTW, we are AVID sushi eaters, so if you're looking for reviews by people who don't frequent sushi restaurants like we do, then by all means read the negative ones.

Yelp
My wife and I dined at Oshen for the first time this past Friday, and Jose was our primary server. We enjoyed the dining room ambiance and energy. The wait staff sang Happy Birthday to two groups and kept the atmosphere upbeat. As for the food, we really enjoyed the spicy tuna tartar with the crispy rice and the seaweed salad for starters. My wife enjoyed the lobster roll and spicy tuna roll. I also had the salmon nigiri and unagi nigiri. It was fantastic. The service was on point and very attentive. We ordered the salted caramel cake to take home as our dessert. By the way, it goes really well with Andy's vanilla frozen custard. In all, we are planning to head back to Oshen. Five stars.

Yelp
First off, the customer service is impeccable, from start to finish. I was very impressed by the woman that took our reservation accommodating my father in a wheelchair. She was very kind and helpful. The food was so good! Stand outs being the Shishitos peppers, Hamachi crudo, spicy tuna, and black cod.
