Since entering the store, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me customize the chocolate box with great patience. The chocolates taste really good, for me it's worth the price. They have boxes already arranged or you can customize yours, with chocolates starting from $3.50. A good gift or a treat for yourself. I'll definitely come back to this store.

One bite and you can tell-- this is chocolate worth the luxury price. A beautiful rich, dark flavor with a texture that comes from truly knowing your craft. I'm not big on chocolate but I would welcome a box of these any time.

There is definitely quality and freshness found here. Although a single chocolate will begin at a price of $3.50. so it's all pricey. But the flavor and quality are there. I am a huge classic dark chocolate fan. I can compare the dark chocolate to the truffles you find @sees candy. Unfortunately didn't try anything else but it all looks very good. Great customer service. The gal who helped me went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Even tho I knew I was only going to get a dark chocolate she still answerd any questions and provided me with a great service. I do wish they would label how much cacao is in the individually sold truffles.

While the chocolates may be good, the customer experience is horrible. Order tracking is non existent. The customer service line goes to voicemail, emails are unanswered. They went from my favorite to a company I would NEVER do business with.

I am updating my review of this incredible chocolatier. Since my husband wrote the business directly, the owners of John Kelly Chocolates have personally reached out to us. They were very empathetic and completely changed my experience with the business. The employee involved was educated (she was always kind to me) and I was reimbursed. What really reassures me this is the wonderful company we have know for years is how quickly and personally they responded. We have always had a great experience with the chocolates and the service here and it was just reinforced. Thank you John Kelly Chocolates!! You must always buy your special gifts/ chocolates here. They come gift boxed with bows and have always made a difference when we give them to friends for house gifts or birthdays. The best!!

Came here to buy a gift and the lady working was so friendly and helped me choose out the perfect combination of chocolates! They had some samples out as well so that I could try since it was my first time here. I got a really cute box of 6 dark chocolates, and got to customize the 6 different truffles I wanted in the box- definitely recommend this spot to buy a gift.

Several years ago, some poor kind soul gave my parents a box of John Kelly Chocolates, which they immediately relinquished to me and Matt B. We'd received a handful of their reject chocolates and other gifts before, but had no idea what we were getting when they handed us that box. Let's put it this way: if life were like a box of John Kelly Chocolates, every day would be the best damned day of your life. Matt and I aren't even that into chocolate. Before we joined the John Kelly hive, we never kept chocolate in the house. Now we get boxes for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, and whatever other occasions we feel like, and since we eat them at a pace of about one piece every two or three days, we have a box going about a third of the year. The chocolates are just so good. We get the double-tier signature box, which comes with two each of their twelve bestselling chocolates: dark chocolate espresso, semi-sweet chocolate with walnuts, semi-sweet chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and peanut butter, dark chocolate with walnuts, dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate with raspberry, white chocolate vanilla with walnuts, semi-sweet chocolate and caramel with Hawaiian Alaea sea salt, dark chocolate with French grey sea salt, peanut butter with Himalayan pink salt, and walnut caramel clusters with Mediterranean sea salt. My favorites are the raspberry and the espresso, but they're all winners. Each one ends up costing more than $4, but they're decadently delicious and big enough to share, like three or four good bites a piece. We often split one when we sit and relax after the kids go down, and they make a small but satisfying end-of-day treat. We usually get our boxes delivered, but I went to the physical store for the first time to pick up chocolates for Father's Day. It was a quick, pleasant stop, even with my toddler on my hop, with easy street parking and friendly service. The shop was small and inviting, attractive and chock full of chocolate. There were even a couple of samples on the counter, nibbles of the Alaea sea salt chocolate and the dark chocolate bourbon, which I hadn't tried before. I picked up our usual box and a small box of the Alaea sea salt chocolates as a gift for my friend, who I was visiting for lunch. Because of course John Kelly Chocolates make great gifts. I don't get them for my parents, but they're a nice option for most other people. I've taken boxes to friends in Japan, and I always look forward to giving and receiving them within my own home. Our life is just sweeter and richer with a box of these chocolates at hand.

Such a lovely establishment with patient and friendly workers who love to answer questions and even offer samples. Large variety of chocolates to choose from. I'll definitely be coming back to try more!

Omg these Chocolates are soo good! I wanted to give my finance some chocolates for Christmas and I found this gem, I am so glad I did because he absolutely loved these chocolates; I myself fell in love with this hidden gem. Their customer service is incredible; as you walk in they greet you, and let you know that they will be right with you. The shop smells amazing, it's clean; and the chocolates look and taste delicious. I ended up getting a custom box of 12 pieces; and it was a little over $50, their packaging was amazing! I tried their espresso, and their jalapeño/ habanero chilli chocolates; I personally loved the espresso. I will definitely be back; these make for a great gift!

Handcrafted & Handmade Chocolates are always somewhat pricey. I Don't mind paying a Higher Price if you get higher quality & unique items. That's what John Kelly is all about. What's great is you don't have to shell out an arm & a leg to come here & buy a box or a pound. You can stop on by & indulge & just purchase 1 or 2 pieces. Good for your wallet & your waistline too! LOL! They also have Friendly Employees working here. They have FREE Mini Samples so you can try some of their featured items also. There is Free Parking in the area - just look for the posted signs. Best Chocolate in the US Whatever I assume my credentials to be, I have found, through an incredible amount of research, both nationally and internationally, that John Kelly has THE BEST chocolates here in the US. They are SO good, that if you don't give them to their intended right away, you will eat them. It's a fact. Unfortunately, many family members have received Amazon gift cards because they did not pick up their Chocolates from my control in time. (within 2 or 3 days. And they have that long only because I always buy myself some, too) What you might NOT expect, is how wonderful the staff is. One person in particular helped my friend out of a major jam. Frantz, in the Hollywood location was such a gem, coupled with some of the John Kelly chocolate magic, that we were able to not only save her job, she was given a promotion. My friend is brilliant... she's not THAT brilliant. We both credit it to Frantz and the chocolate. So thank you again Frantz, and John Kelly for great chocolates, great service, and an amazing excuse to stuff my face on a semi regular basis.

Wanted to surprise my wife with something for pandemic Valentine's Day and was searching around for mom & pop chocolate shops in Orange County and Los Angeles County. After spending a few days reading reviews I narrowed it down to two places. Thanks to John Kelly's free shipping these guys won. I got a 12 piece variety box, a box of salted caramel, and a two piece of their butterfly chocolates. My wife loved them so much I barely got any pieces to try myself. She loved them and the few I tried I was blown away. Their salted caramels are mind blowing. Half the box was sprinkled with Alderwood smoked salt and the other half had French gray salt. Just enough to please the taste buds without overkilling the salt. The texture of the caramel was perfect. They were dense without sticking to your teeth making for a great experience. Delicious! The chocolate butterflies also had caramel inside but it was more of a liquid like texture vs the other caramels. These also tasted great. The 12 pack of chocolates are insane. I've never seen a piece of chocolate so big. Huge pieces. The inside has a fudge like consistency and you can only eat one or two at a time. My wife always shares yet not with these. She was like a feral dog ready to bite my hand if I tried to take one. The product is pricy but the quality is as high as it gets and I'd definitely shop here again.

This is literally the best chocolate I've ever tried. i had it first at bristol farms and visited this location so i can order pieces of milk and semi-sweet options. I was told they had 12 milk chocolate options but I was misinformed. that actually goes for the semi sweet. I highly recommend the dark chocolate with caramel. There are also a number of vegan options here (mainly solid chocolate or dipped fruit). street parking available

-My Airbnb host included this shop with the note that it was the best chocolate in the USA. Walking in and trying a sample, I knew I had to buy some of the chocolates and they were phenomenal. The mint and the dark chocolates were so rich, so delicious, and the perfect dessert after a long day of touring. I'm a chocolate lover and these were some of the best chocolates I've ever had!

Anyone who is close to me (and even those that are not); knows that I am a health nut who restricts the consumption of sweets. Yet, I am somehow a chocolate snob and have become quite knowledgeable about the art of chocolate: the various types, chocolate vs cacao vs cocoa butter vs carob, percentages, ideal temperatures and the list goes on. What does all this crap mean? That I know 'good' chocolate! I suffer from an incurable illness plus experienced a trauma head injury (geeze, 2020!); so what was the ideal remedy? Chocolate! That is how John Kelly Chocolates came into the picture. Now, here is the deal: I have never heard of John Kelly Chocolates before (even though the company started right here in Hollywood) nor of John and Kelly (that's right: they are TWO people!). But I have friends who raved madly about John Kelly being accolades above Gorant, Ghiradelli, See's, and Godiva. John Kelly is a true confectionery featuring truffle chocolates, bars, chocolate-dipped fruits, nuts and unique flavor like spicy peppers, Thai Curry and bourbon, to name a few. Due to Covid restrictions and my being autoimmune; I did not venture into this location (although they are open for pickup) and instead opted for an online order specifically from this storefront to be delivered via FedEx overnight. What prescription did the doctor order? The 8-piece Holiday Truffle Fudge Assortment ($31) with Dark Chocolate Truffle Fudge w/French Grey Seal Salt (4) and Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Caramel Truffle Fudge w/Hawaiian Alaea Sea Salt (4). Little details mean a lot to me and it says much of the company. Well, John Kelly passes with flying colors! First of all, the delivery arrived first thing in the morning and was packaged carefully with bubble wrap and brown packing paper but not just thrown in there: wrapped beautifully! The little message gift card with the note from my friend who paid for this order on his credit card was written in an award-winning handwritten font! Someone at this shop is an artist with letters! Further, the packaging of the chocolates themselves are delightful with golden snowflakes AND the chocolates are gluten free, kosher, handmade, and all-natural! WOWZAS! Let's get to the nitty-gritty, shall we? How are the chocolates? OH MY FREAKING GOD! These are some of the best chocolates, ever!!!! Diets and healthy eating be damned cause I could have eaten 200 of these! First of all, the chocolates are simple rectangle pieces with the salts sprinkled on top and yet define elegance and couture with smooth textures and a perfect shade. The pieces are sized-well so trust me: they don't skimp. Now, who knew various salts can make for defining tastes but they sure do! The Semi-Sweet Chocolate and Caramel with Hawaiian Alaea Sea Salt is pure heaven and EVERYONE must try it! Soft truffle chocolate, smooth caramel and a perfect salty note (I'd say similar to pink Himalayan salt). My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Dark Chocolate w/French Grey Sea Salt was equally melt-in-your-mouth and not overly bitter with a smoky salt finish. The two flavors work well with each other and seriously: you NEED to try these! My only complaint? That I finished them too fast! John Kelly not only won me over with amazing chocolate products (I HAVE to try their other flavors!) but with fast shipping and small, charming details. Suddenly 2020 doesn't feel so bad. Enough of this review... I need to go get more John Kelly chocolate...

Jared is wonderful! He recommended great chocolates and his favorite peanut butter with himilayan salt..sooo good. I was so happy to rediscover this place and its right around the corner for me. I was working for a store several years ago that sold these chocolates and fell in love. I love the semi sweet with the walnuts! Oooh and they have spicy mango with chocolate, chocolate dipped shortbread cookies Mmmm can't wait to go back!

Of your many (many!) chocolatier options in LA, John Kelly is the most economical, when taking into consideration the price ($3.40-$3.95 each) and massive size of their chocolates. These are not your dainty hand painted artisanal confections. They are thick blocks of silky smooth fudge coated in chocolate - some akin to the size of a small candy bar! They also offer hand dipped candied fruits, chocolate covered nuts, and chocolate bars, but we are here for the truffles, obvs. Three varieties of self-serve samples reside on the top on the case, and consistency of the filling seemed to be the same for everything, just with differing flavors added. They have plenty of elegantly pre-packaged boxes of goodies adorned by fat, richly colored satin ribbons, or you can make your own custom box. I just wanted treats for myself, so I opted for mint, espresso, and grey sea salt packed in a simple kraft box. Espresso was my favorite, as it magically tasted like cake (though with negligible coffee flavor)! It wasn't just me thinking this, my husband echoed the idea as soon as he tried the truffle. The only explanation I can find for this, is that the cake I bake most often is a rich, dark chocolatey version with a bit of espresso powder. But regardless, this truffle was divine. The mint was also delicious, offering a refreshing foil to the rich chocolate. It was slightly salty, and while uncommon with mint sweets, this was a truly lovely additional note of flavor. Compared to maneuvering the city streets of Beverly Hills where many of LA's chocolate stores reside, this less trafficked spot is a dream, and we easily found street parking in the neighborhood north of John Kelly. The additional joy of admiring the charming homes lining our walk to the shop was a happy accompaniment to an already grand experience. Their second location in Santa Monica may be an even more manageable option.

Toured the shop with " Hollywood Sites & Food Tour" We had the opportunity to watch Candy being prepared! ( No photos allowed) We had a Great time & treats to Eat!! Fun & Friendly Staff! Wow, these chocolates are unreal. Truly. Over Christmas a good friend from LA gave me a box of 4 dark chocolate truffles with French grey sea salt. When you open the box, each truffle is big - one truffle is really the size of two (not complaining). As soon as I took a bite I was hooked. Texturally amazing, depth of chocolate flavor, the right amount of salt. I wasn't surprised when I looked up the shop on Yelp and saw a solid 5 stars! I loved them so much, I went on their website and ordered more. I'm excited to try some of the caramels and the Thai coconut curry truffle. If you spend $75 on their website you get free shipping... So naturally I spent $75 on chocolate and I have zero regrets!

I had a sort of an emergency and was desolately looking for a nice box of exclusive sweets. But anything around Hollywood is annoyingly touristy. There are very little authentic places around there where a native Angeleno can come to shop. Literally turned to John Kelly as my last resort, and boy was I satisfied. The tiny shop has an impressive selection of fine chocolates and candies, anything from $10 to $110. I highly recommend this place.

The most amazing chocolates! First time in the shop, and it was great. The salesperson was very knowledgeable about all the sweets, I came in for gifts and had many different ones. Also had to get some for a friend that is vegan, which they had some vegan choices. The big problem is I know where this shop is at and I plan on coming back soon.

This year, I was looking for local Holiday gifts and thought of this chocolatier that I've driven by for years and never managed to stop in. I know, I know. With the web, there's no excuse. Their super easy to navigate website had a wide variety options in price points for every gift need. Not having experienced this chocolate before, I had to include a small order for myself and I'm so glad I did. Seriously, it's full-bodied and light at the same time. This chocolate (so far I've only had the dark and semi-sweet) is really some kind of perfection. I'll be looking forward to trying all they have to offer. Deliver is freed with a minimum purchase order, and delivery was well tracked and timely. Wishing you all deliciousness!

Seriously! There's no better chocolate than John Kelly. There's only 2 stores, one in Hollywood and one in Santa Monica. You can also order chocolates online and have them delivered to your door step. My first time trying John Kelly's Chocolate was over a year. I checked into an AirBnB and the host was kind enough to leave a box. First bite and I was hooked! My boyfriend who is not a huge chocolate person like myself fell in love with John Kelley's chocolate the first time he tried them as well. We promised to stop in whenever we're in Hollywood. On our last visit we tried the Earl Grey Chocolate with Sea Salt, the Dark Chocolate with Hawaiian sea salt and the Walnut dark chocolate cluster. I LOVE nuts in my chocolate normally, but here at John Kelly's I'll stick with chocolate on chocolate. I don't want anything interrupting that flavor besides salt. We let my partner's 9 years old try a piece and the same thing happened to him. On his first bite he closed his eyes and rubbed his stomach saying, "This chocolate is the best I ever had. It makes me feel good ... like taking a nap lol". My sentiments exactly little fella! The staff are all so kind. We were heading to Venice Beach after leaving John Kelly's. The guy working that day was kind enough to give us an ice pack to take with us so that our chocolate wouldn't melt. We ate the chocolates so fast they didn't make it to the beach.

Great product but don't order on line. I recently gave John Kelly Chocolates as a gift and ordered well enough in advance of Christmas and paid for expedited shipping and the package arrived late. When I investigated, I discovered it was shipped late. I ended up having to buy another Christmas gift for the person I was sending the chocolate to, since it arrived so late. I brought the situation to the attention of John Kelly, and all they offered to do was refund the shipping -, extremely poor customer service, even after we went back-and-forth several times, and I tried to explain to them that delivering a Christmas gift after the fact, serves almost no purpose. They couldn't have cared less. With so many options I'll chose another that cares about it's customers and fulfilling on its promise of delivery by a certain date.

Bought JK chocolates for Xmas presents and only received 1 of my orders. $70.00 worth of merchandise was not delivered so I called to complain and they said they would reimburse my card. Still waiting. While delicious, quality control in their shipping area is lacking.

I guess I'll be getting my quarantine 15 (lbs) lol from John Kelly and I'm totally okay with that. I love love love their dark chocolate truffles and the kids loved the caramel Easter bunnies. It's a bit of a drive from us but these days we call it a field trip to go get some special chocolate! Hey, it puts a smile on my kids faces and gives me some serious comfort during these times of uncertainty. Thanks for being essential!!! I don't know what I'd do without you guys!!!

I bought these chocolate to see what the hype is really about. The fudges are amazing, not the best but better than most i have eaten. They have really unique flavours which i would recommend to taste at least once.

OMG! i'm obsessed! i've eaten chocolate all over the world but i'm not counting myself a chocolate connoisseur simply because i rarely eat sweets. when i received a box of these chocolates as a gift they sat in my cabinet for about 4 months. one night i was craving some chocolate and remembered them. i had been told they were something special but thought "meh" how much different can they be? well i was SO wrong! i ate the whole box and immediately got online and ordered $250 worth from the company. these chocolates are dangerous! i want to eat them all the time! want to make friends and influence people? send them these chocolates. sincerely, your biggest fan

Wow! For someone who isn't the biggest chocolate fan, I was blown away! I've lived near this place for over 3 years and I finally decided to stop by. I mostly went for gifts for family members but I also got myself a couple walnut clusters and they were absolutely divine! I'll definitely be back and I'll bring my mom, who is a huge chocolate fan. It is pretty pricey but you really do get what you pay for in this case. I highly recommend!

I like chocolates, but I can't honestly say I'm a chocolate connoisseur ... I am able to happily satisfy my unsophisticated choco-cravings with the usual mass-produced fodder that gets dispensed from snack machines and sold at supermarket check-out lanes. If you look up "lowest common denominator" in the dictionary, a picture of my hapless, low-maintenance mug is likely to be next to the entry. Having said that, a colleague of mine *is* apparently a chocolate connoisseur, and after hearing her incessantly rant and rave about how much she enjoys the chocolates produced and sold by this shop, I figured why not put a smile on her face by surprising her with a box of their chocolates for her birthday? (Particularly as she has always been a very kind and generous person to me, and is one of the few people at work whose company and conversation I actually find enjoyable). Quick rant: God, the nightmarish drive to the shop reminded me of my love-hate relationship with Hollywood ... I love the frequently splendid establishments anchored within this enclave of Los Angeles, but I thoroughly *despise* the invariably horrible traffic and parking conditions. And on the latter note, good f***ing luck trying to find available parking spots around this otherwise delightful little chocolate shop ... Prices of the chocolates sold here are relatively high, but (as I later discovered after the first few bites) the build quality of the chocolate is also palpably high, as is the effort put into presentation of both the products *and* the shop. Everything here literally screams *boutique* ... I almost felt like I had walked into a high-end jewelry store. I could even see the staff making the chocolate thorough a glass door - I felt so privileged seeing artisans at work. Also extremely high is the professional level of service provided here by the staff. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and helpful with all my questions (I am feeling *very* guilty right now for not remembering her name, as she was such a sweetheart. All I remember is that her heartwarming smile that did not betray a single hint of insincerity). For example, I had no idea that the boxes with the prettier blue ribbons contained the same goddamned chocolates as the boxes with the less ostentatious brown ribbons - until said lady enlightened me. I ended up getting two boxes - one for my colleague, and another for myself (might as well treat the person I love most too, right?). Being the cunningly practical and financially-obsessed Chinaman that I am, I quickly did the math and concluded that due to economies of scale/volume discounts, it would be foolish to purchase a gift box of any quantity less than 8 or 12 (seriously, if you're shopping here at all, you *might as well* get the bigger boxes - you get a better bargain for yourself, and you don't run the risk of looking like a cheap bastard when you hand the box over to the recipient of your gift). The chocolate was very good, I'm not going to lie. Unfortunately, since the law of diminishing returns really hits a high-end shop like this *hard*, I am sorry to say that I *did not* like the chocolate enough to be willing to brave automobile hell for return trips here ... for myself, that is. I can probably see myself coming back here again to buy chocolate for other people on my Cool List, because quite frankly ... everyone else seems to love the chocolate here *way* more than I do. If you enjoy chocolate but never been here before, you should probably give this place a try. Looking at the reviewer aggregate, odds are you'll love this place.

I received candy from this company 3 years ago and i have never forgotten the taste or quality. It was candy heaven.

Well let's see where to begin... Last year I found out that Dark Chocolate was actually a pretty healthy to eat contrary to what you may think about chocolate. No, it's actually considered a health food. Now, clearly not all chocolate is going to be good for you but I digress. I started searching LA for my favorite Chocolate... this is it BY FAR and large. They mix fine ingredients with the perfect amount of devilish auxiliary flavors to create an array of distinguished and to die for chocolate treats. I would like to recommend you try the lot. Not one disappointing piece here.

My friend introduced me to this place today and the sales leader was super nice. The chocolate was really good, we both had the chocolate figs and then we had the twisted ice cream. It was light and delicious. But the best part was the service from Arthur, he was knowledgeable really nice and passionate about the product. I highly recommend this place and thank you Arthur.

The chocolates here are expensive. The chocolates here are likely responsible for multiple diagnoses and/or progression to metabolic disorder. They are probably worth it. If you want to kill yourself in an expensive and delicious way. Come here. Buy the chocolates. Eat them. Will it change your life? Probably not. But... I am pretty sure these concoctions are at least 7.5% of the reason my wife married me. I still haven't told her where to get them.

In the past 10 years, I have become quite a connoisseur of chocolate. Today, I found such a pleasant surprise in trying John Kelly Chocolates. Their products are handmade onsite and the staff was friendly. They were generous with samples of their new chocolate flavors (bourbon, coconut curry and rocky road with vegan marshmallows) that were all excellent in their subtlety of flavors; you can still taste the chocolate base (which is Belgian chocolate, smooth and not bitter, even with the dark chocolate). In addition, I purchased their award-winning Dark Chocolate with French Grey Sea Salt (marvelous and my favorite of the bunch) as well as Caramel with Fleur de Sel Salt. I greatly enjoyed their use of salt and found on both pieces it to be a wonderful enhancement to the flavor. When I'm in the area, I will be back to try more!

Sweet service - pun intended. Creamy, smooth chocolates. We tried the peanut butter, espresso, raspberry, and sea salted truffles. One star removed because we found them overly sweet.

I first discovered John Kelly truffle fudge bars at Bristol Farms 3 or 4 years ago. I was instantly enamored. Their truffle fudge is like nothing I've ever had before: creamy but not gooey, and full of rich, complex flavor. I was thrilled to discover that the bars are made right here in Los Angeles. They have 2 storefront locations: one in Santa Monica and this one in Hollywood. The Hollywood location is better because a) it's where all the chocolate is made, and b) its customer service is much friendlier and more personable. (Shoutout to Arthur!) The Hollywood location also offers tours of the chocolate making process, which I highly recommend. I did this with a few friends and we had a ton of fun. It's a small, intimate tour, and the employee who leads you around really takes his time and lets you see every part of the process. It's $10, I believe, but they are extremely generous with the samples, so it's more than worth the price of admission. Tour or not, when you visit John Kelly, the truffle fudge bars are a must. I highly recommend the peanut butter, french grey salt, and espresso flavors, although, truly, they're all divine. They also have packaged chocolate bars (not truffle fudge, just straight up chocolate) in different flavors, which are excellent. (There are other items, too -- chocolate covered dried fruit, or nuts, which I haven't tried.) If you like chocolate or if you're trying to impress anyone who likes chocolate, John Kelly is the way to go. And if you think I'm exaggerating, they usually have samples out so you can taste for your self before you buy.

Went to this place to celebrate (much belatedly!) my wife's birthday. I thought the chocolate was excellent, but my wife, who's a huge chocolate connoisseur, said it was some of the best dark chocolate she's ever had. She went on and on about some details I didn't understand, but all the more reason to believe her. And while most of the time I just eat candies and chocolates and move on, I actually was craving these for a few days after we finished them! In addition, very friendly and professional staff, so what's not to love?

What a cute little chocolate boutique this shop is. They have great chocolates and exceptional service. Shame on me for forgetting the woman's name who helped me decide which chocolates to get, but she was awesome. I was fortunate to walk in when they were giving a talk about their process and award winning chocolate. I walked away with: Spicy Mango dipped in chocolate - These had a nice kick to them along with the smoothness of the chocolate and the bite of the dried mango. Fig dipped in chocolate - These were ok, I was expecting them to be better than they were. White Chocolate Walnut - Unless it is in ice cream or cake, I do not like white chocolate. However, they let me try this one on the spot and it is pretty darn good. I brought it back to Austin for some other friends to try who feel the same way about white chocolate and they all liked it too. Walnut Caramel Cluster with Mediterranean Sea Salt - This was a great little flavor nugget. Dark Chocolate with French Grey Sea Salt (This was one of their main award winners) - This one was tasty Dark Chocolate Espresso - This one was above and beyond my favorite. Dark Chocolate with Ancho Chile - Smooth with that good deep ancho chile flavor. Their chocolates have a consistency like fudge on the inside and are less truffle or ganache like. I actually prefer the truffle/ganache, but these were great and a crowd pleaser back in Austin. I would definitely return for more.

I never heard of this place until my boss gave me a box for xmas present. The packaging was so elegant and beautiful that i did not even want to open it; however when I did open it, i thought to myself WOWWWWWWWWWWW. Beautifully designed , absolutely perfect in every way. The presentation, the taste , the texture, the aftermath of the experience. OMGGGG. This experience got me HOOKED!. Went back to the store. There was a manager named Dale. He was friendly and very charming. He helped me pick out a few because i wanted to taste something different, something unique. He recommended the chipotle and boy was I surprised! Spicy chocolate. OMGGGGG i can't wait to go back for more!
