Yeongdong Freshwater Eel

On Dec 10, 2024, our elder daughter and son-in-law took my wife and I here. We tried both the very expensive and less expensive eels. The food was fried before us in an exclusive room. Our first experience of having very nice fried eels in Seoul.

Food is ok, eat unagi & korea limited black fish. Price for black fish KRW 170,000 each, takes ard 40mins to serve. Unagi KRW45,000 each. Service was ok.

Had an enjoyable lunch here - 2 of us ordered one mud Eel, one Freshwater Eel and the grilled vege and it was more than enough. The server helped us with all the grilling so all we have to do is eat! The Eel tasted really good and goes super well with their special sauce & wasabi. The mud Eel is more expensive but taste better and well worth the price!!

Awesome eel grill place!! Fresh fulsome eel packed with awesome natural flavor grilled on your table. Great service also with valet parking. If you want to taste Korean eel while visiting Korea, this is the place.

Probably one of the best fresh water Eel I had till date. It's not cheap but definitely worth it. Must try their signature mud water Eel

Perspective from a tourist- fresh eel was superb, perfectly grilled and was delicious. However, the eel stew was abit of an acquired taste. I dined here with 3 other friends and all of us couldnt appreciate it. To clarify, we spent about 50k won per pax but this wasn't a full meal, it was part1 of our lunch 🤣 be prepared to spend at least 100k won per pax for a full meal. Service is impeccable, atmosphere is great too.

5 stars! Taste, service (no english but try really hard to help), space and esthetic! A little pricey but worth the price! Will definitely come back, will also recommend to friends and family!

Expansive, but food was good. Nice quality eel and shrimp.
