"Just across the road from the Heath you’ll find this wonderful pub and restaurant serving sensational food in a cosy wood panelled interior. Dogs are allowed in the downstairs bar which is good news for dog walkers heading from the Heath, while upstairs dining is a little more formal. Booking is recommended although a row of small tables and stools near the bar are left unreserved for walk-ins. The ground floor bar has a lively buzz and the more sedate first floor dining room opens later in the week.
