Bikini Lounge is a really great dive bar. There's no food options. The decor, Bartender and locals are the heart and sole of keeping it alive. It is one of the cleanest dive bars I have been to. It is the oldest continuous open running bars in Phoenix. I highly rate and suggest this establishment. It is a CA$H bar only.

The Bikini Lounge is a classic dive bar on Grand Ave with a cool old school vibe. It is cash only and the bartender was a bit off but we still had a fun time drinking cheap beers and soaking in the atmosphere.

Great bar! Only downside is they are cash only, and the atm has a fee inside so feels a bit trapping with no signage postage out front..would still get lit here another night tho

Came here for the first time and will never be back. The bartender was completely out of line — she made a rude comment about my red face (I have rosacea) and then refused to serve me for no reason before kicking out our whole group of six. Super unprofessional and honestly just mean. We were all excited to check this place out, but she ruined the night. If management cares about their customers, they might want to take a closer look at who they have behind the bar.

This place is what it is, a locals dive bar with a tiki vibe, and for both of these reasons, I love this place! The tiki drinks on the menu are not bad, but don't expect complex mixology. This place is welcoming as are the people on both sides of the bar! It's worth a look, so if you're in the area and desire some cold refreshments, stop in, surprisingly, you may want to stay longer!

What a great dive bar - cash only, kitschy tiki decor, fun atmosphere.

Both bathroom doors do not shut and lock, also there was a heavy chemical fume aroma in there. Not like a cleaning chemical, but like old glue? I think it was the paint, but it smelt so weird and heavy. CASH ONLY BAR. 75 cents to play pool but no option to swipe card. Got a gin/tonic and whiskey/coke for 6$ each. While playing pool I asked if they could play music because it was so quiet and their response is that there’s a juke box you can pay to play music… I’ve never been to a bar that doesn’t play music and charges to do so. I liked the Tiki vibe, but overall it was a very poor experience. The bar needs some minimal updating, even for a dive bar which is my favorite type of bar.

Good bar. Outside porch is very cool, even when it is hot. Sound system for music is off-the-chain awesome. Sweeping the mids!!! Ha ha

Came to this hole in the wall cash-only tiki bar while waiting for a seat at a nearby restaurant. It was a Friday night and aside from our group there were only about 4 others there. We ordered a mix of cocktails, beers, and shots and I got a dark and stormy from the tiki list. It was a cool enough dive bar, but it was oddly quiet. They had a jukebox that you could pay to pick the songs, but as soon as the songs we picked ran out the music went off and it was silent. Felt a little uncomfortable and too divey for what we were feeling that night.

This is a really good bar. It is a nice place to hang out at. There are plenty of really good places to sit down or stand up at either inside or on the patio. The beer is ice cold and so are all of the glasses for the beer. They have a jukebox and a pool table.

A fun start to our night began at the Bikini Lounge after a friend referred us to pay a visit. Mary really knows how to prepare great cocktails and how to take care of her guests! This dive bar establishment has been around since 1947, which makes it a must visit! Don't forget to bring cash...but there is an ATM in the bar just in case you forget!

This is a nice little hole in the wall bar that I stumbled across while I was going to see the Prince Mural. It has indoor dining seating (hi-tops and booths), bar seating and a modest fenced in patio area with a few tables. They have music playing throughout the inside. There is metered street parking within a reasonable walking distance. The bar is dimly lit and decorated with colorful Christmas lights. You will find a digital juke box here to get the party started, but they also have music playing if you did not want to select your favorites jams from the juke box. It is important to note that the bar is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside to get cash though. They have a wide selection of your tropical tiki favorites, which are my favorites. If was a tough choice, but I got a Mr Howell and Freaky Tiki. They were very savory, and did not last long. All of the bar's signature cocktails are $9, which makes it simple. The bartender was friendly. The bar seems to have its regulars and he was very familiar with most of the patrons. This chill bar is definitely worth checking out.

I went with my boyfriend to play pool and have a drink. I really liked the bar and the jukebox. The ambiance was nice and I liked the interior with the tiki decor. It was dim and I love dim bars when it's hot and sunny outside. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars versus 5 was because of a bad smell near the bathroom area like a sewer smell. But I would still definitely go there again.

Bikini lounge is not what I expected because I didn't know what to expect. A definite hole in the wall spot with relaxed vibes and a cool bartender named Mikey. Seemed like a lot of regulars are around and just there to relax. Jukebox controls the music and the drinks aren't expensive. There is a pool table but good luck getting your turn as people bring their own sticks so it's tough luck on that one. Stop by and check it out!

I love dive bars, and apparently, this one is the oldest running bar in Phoenix. When we first walked in, the bar was pretty empty but soon got pretty busy. The bartender (I believe Mary is her name) was very friendly and checked on us regularly. I first ordered a lava flow, which looked so pretty and was really good. The bar is dark and the decor is tiki inspired. There is a pool table and jukebox. If you love dive bars and cheep drinks I would recommend bikini lounge. The only downside is it is warm inside so maybe go once the weather cools down.

Smells like history. The smell of wood varnish and spilled beer. Don't forget the wacky graffiti in the restroom and dark ambience and cool Music.

I love tiki dive bars and this one has been around forever (since the 40's). Bikini Lounge is located on legendary Grand Ave in Phx. A group of us came by here for some drinks before a show and had a fun time here. Drinks are affordable and strong and are cash only (there is an ATM inside). The decor here includes tiki masks, wooden statues, and cool vintage paintings in a dim light setting. I personally enjoyed our bartender's fun witty humor while she was making our drinks. This is not some upscale fancy bar, but a great place to chill over good drinks and conversation with good music playing in the background. Bikini Lounge occasionally has a DJ and there is a pool table in the back. Heads up - the parking lot can be a little sketchy.

I love a good dive bar and this is exactly what The Bikini Lounge is. It's been around since around since 1947 and that says a lot. Please fo not expect a trendy tiki bar or rum joint. This is no frills fun that is filled with history. Our bartender Mary was really friendly and seemed to want to make everyone feel like company. Come on by and have a couple to start your night out. If for no other reason than to say you've been there.

My wife and I have been twice so far. Both experiences have been the same. We both felt unwelcome. The 2 stars is for the Tiki decor. The bar looks really cool. This bar will serve a Mai tai filled with juice, and that's ok. I can do dive tiki. There's a place for it. This bar really needs to up its service game. Welcome guests in. Introduce yourself. Inform guests of any drink specials. Engage. The friendliest it got was when she shouted good bye.

I stumbled upon this place on an early Friday night. So glad we did!! Cheap drinks and such a cool, chill vibe, sign me up! The bartender was super friendly and gave us some great info on drink suggestions and events that they host. It's cash only only so make sure you stop by and get you some cash before come.

Starting to try several dive bars in Phx and we stopped here last Friday. It's a true dive bar, that is dark inside. Seating was good. We sat at a table with high stools, the booths looked tight for our group. They played 80's music -which we liked. The drinks were good and cheap. We tried the tiki drink, beer and vodka. The lady behind the bar wasn't smiling when we came in, but she warmed up to our small group of 4 and began to chat. It was really hot outside and we were sweating sitting inside. I think maybe they only had a swamp cooler and fans, but it wasn't enough to keep us cool. I would go back in the fall, but not the hot summer months. It is an all cash bar, so bring small bills so u don't wipe out there drawer with large bills and need change.

Provender: dive bar, pure and simple. Awesome bartenders. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Prices: reasonable, although some pours may not be as generous. Parking: there's a lot behind the building, but the entrance is on street. People: typical dive bar crowd. Weirdos, misfits, weary travelers, and neighborhood patrons. Perks: a real chill vibe. Remember, cash only! They also have a juke box and a video game. There are also a few unlit booths so this might be a great place start or end a date.

NOT A TIKI BAR - FYI. At best it's a tiki themed dive bar. However, the pervasive smell of piss and the equally unpleasant bartender make it seem much worse than most dive bars... Especially if you came in looking for a good rum drink. They have well, bicardi and sailor jerry. I recommend Hulas or Undertow if you wanna tiki.

Stopped by for a single beer and sat at a round table by myself. Minutes later I was greeted by a pretty big roach who was minding his business and crawled by. That's cool roaches are customers also.

This is a cool bar but the drinks are horrible, if your going to drink stick to straight shots and beer. We asked if they had signature cocktail's the bartender said no but then handed us a menu with different drinks on it Anya's m anyway, I was there to secret shop the service and it was awful, when we ordered one of the drinks from the menu he handed us he looked frustrated this was About a 20 oz drink it was so sweet you could hardly drink it, he added less than an oz of alcohol then filled it with juice and stuff from the gun. I ordered a vodka Red Bull again poured less than an oz of alcohol filled it with redbull then added ice they were so overpriced and not worth the money unbalanced weak and overpriced I asked about green tea shots so we tried those it was so sour again hard to drink I'm not sure he put any alcohol in those. When asked if they had food or a kitchen he rudely said no. We weren't Id'd at the door or the bar Cool venue very very poor service and awful drinks. Wouldn't recommend it unless you want to just drink beer.

I can't do it. I can't sign on for the hype. The place is run down. The drinks, while tasty, are overpriced and honest to fucking God, there is no need to have a 'Card Everyone' policy. I'm 45 and look every second of it. My cousin, who's beautiful, but also looks her mid-forties age was also carded and it's not like the place was packed and they didn't want a minor to slip by; there was maybe 3 or 4 other people at the same time and it was dead quiet. At some point it stops being flattering and just becomes annoying as you have to dig through your purse looking for the damn driver's license to prove that you are indeed old enough to have gray pubes. And can we please talk about the shitter? *cringe* I'm pretty sure I got an STD in there just washing my hands and I'm no germaphobe. It's just Level III neglected. The second time I came here it was still just as dirty, but the DJ that was there was like if Charles Manson and Diplo had a love child, as improbable as that is: spooky, energetic and fresh. The music was raw and there were at least 3 or 4 sweaty goths out there, in addition to some guy that was channeling his inner Father Guido Sarducci, in full priest regalia, hat, glasses and all. (So.... I guess this is the new hipster look...?) *polite smile* They were all dancing their asses off. I'm still not 100% signed on for the general hype of this place. Sorry. I guess this review proves that I'm just an old stick in the mud. If you are looking for me I'll be at a the nearby self-service cafeteria, peering at the selections at the afternoon dinner special over my bi-focals. It's $1 off if you go at 4 PM. Try the tapioca, sweetheart.

The bartender told our group that they are not set up to be a tiki bar and can't make any tiki drinks. There was in total maybe about 10 people in the bar. What is the point of coming to a tiki bar that can only pour beers? Would not recommended

GREAT Dive bar! Came here after an event one day with my husband and we ended up being 2 out of 5 people in the bar. It was early, about 5:00PM on a Saturday. We ended up really enjoying our time here talking to the bartender and just relaxing sipping on some delicious drinks. This place is definitely not for everyone. But if you enjoy a dark and dirty dive bar with some pazazz this place is for you!

We came to check out the bar because our friend's dad owned it back in the '60-70s. True dive bar. No food except the chips for sale on the wall. The drinks were okay. We ordered off the cocktail menu. The music was a bit heavy for my taste, especially on a Sunday afternoon. The bartender was efficient but not very engaging. It was empty at 4pm with only a couple pool players but I could see how it could be lively on a weekend night.

Great place with scenery. Staff was friendly and nice if you are in the area stop and get I picture and check out all the art.

Everrything that was promised, and more, in the best way possible. The walls are covered with layers of tiki art/kitsch. It appears that PBR specials are frequent, our visit included a $2 draw of it. Tiki drinks are made quickly and are listed on a special tiki menu. Bathrooms are clean, and the exterior features a bike rack made of metal bamboo.

Great little dive bar in PHX!! Cool vibe on everything tiki with a bunch of classic cocktails. All cash bar which makes you feel even more like the old school bar it is. Bumping sound system and pool table top off everything!

Stopped in here to visit friends who were listening to a soul music DJ one night after midnight. I wasn't drinking, which apparently bewilders some venues and they offer nothing but soda, which sucks. :/ However, when I explained to the bartender here that I was looking for something fun and fruity with no booze, she actually got excited and started pitching ideas even though they don't have a non-alcoholic menu. I gave her creative domain over the drinks and she whipped up something wonderful with pineapple and mango. She also asked if I wanted them to look like they were traditional alcoholic cocktails or not, which I think is an especially mindful touch, as I'm certain she was asking so I could still fit in socially even if not drinking. I told her it was fine either way, and she opted to dress them up- all the way to the fun umbrella on top. I cannot even begin to express how awesome this was. The drinks alone were wonderful, but it was really her willingness to go out of her way to help that touched me. Not even willingness- she was actually excited. That is insanely rare. It made my whole night. A for the bar itself, yes... it is a dive bar. It has a tiki theme and is a little worse for the wear, but clearly a much-beloved place. The DJ was good and there's a pool table. We just chatted in a booth and didn't explore much. It is cash only, but they do have an ATM on site and the drinks are reasonably-priced. Overall, I'd consider it a good place to go for the vibe and to catch up with friends.

What's not to love about a real deal dive bar! Ran into this bar by accident--going to event nearby, stumbled upon this spot and had to give it a try. Total tiki/tropical theme. Enjoyed a couple of tropical cocktails--umbrellas and all. Loud jukebox playing jams. All that was missing was a white sandy beach and ocean waves. Reasonably priced, friendly service. Will definitely be coming back. If you're anywhere even close and looking to grab a drink, do yourself a favor and come through.

My friend and I often throw around the statement "Tuesday is the new Friday." And it's usually when we're hanging out on the patio of this bar on a Tuesday night. If you're looking for a dive bar in the best sense of that denotation, look no farther. This place has a very peculiar atmosphere, since it's Phoenix's oldest tiki bar according to local lore. You're going to be treated to a dark, small, Hawaiian themed vibe when you first walk in. Once you sit down and order, what you're going to get is some of the best drink prices in the neighborhood. $2 PBR drafts on tuesdays is a godsend, and drink prices are exceedingly reasonable the rest of the week. I want to specifically highlight their weekly 60Tuesday, which seems to be the biggest draw. Other nights of the week that I've been here don't seem to attract the biggest crowd, but if your schedule allows you to be here that night there isn't any better option. They have DJentrification every week, who is the most forward thinking DJ in Phoenix. He spins this mind melting mixture of music from all around the world that is insanely fun to dance to. Granted, there isn't a lot of room to dance, but the crowd has definitely found a way to make it work. Some caveats to the experience are that they offer zero food options at the bar outside of bags of chips, and they're cash only. They have an ATM by the door, so you can solve one of those problems very easily. As for the other one, there's an excellent Navajo taco stand that sets up right outside on Tuesday nights, so the food problem is partially solved. If anything, Grand Ave. Pizza Co. is a short walk away, so you aren't devoid of options. Ultimately, if you have Tuesdays free, this is the spot. If you come here other days, it's not as much of a slam dunk. You're going to experience a stellar atmosphere with an interesting clientele, so it's definitely a spot to check out if you're local or visiting from out of town.

The Bikini is a must visit spot if you're ever in Phoenix. I had a wonderful experience. Curtis is a great bartender and I'll definitely return. They have 12 Classic Tiki drinks on their menu. Get the Mr. & Mrs. Howell for fun. They have a juke box, retro video games, an orange clothed pool table, booths, lots of beer choices, they can prepare any drink you desire, lots of friendly locals. They only "downfall" is you gotta pay cash and pay as you go, but that adds to its dive charm. Curtis will offer all sorts of insight into Jazz, Blues and other musical genres. It's just a really fun and unique establishment dating back to '45-'47 or beyond. Lots to see and discover in this spot. The drinks are absolutely delicious. A must visit spot if you are in town. I highly recommend it. Bring your Haiwaian shirt and relax. Offer Curtis a Lincoln for a tip and get into a debate about the Civil War or the original 26 colonies, talk about the 4 legged Whale, the Big Bang theory, cloning new species, there's something for everyone at the Bikini Lounge. You may even encounter the spirit of Captain Jack...

Cocktails are okay beer is warm and if you aren't paying to play music there is no music the drinks are cheap but for good reason they have $3 pbr that is served room temp the bar smells like old beer and cigarette smoke. Would only recommend if you want a super cheap drink with ZERO atmosphere

Despite continually being one of the most popular dive bars in Phoenix, they still refuse to take cards. The venue is reminiscent of a tiki bar, with tikis decorating the roof and walls. There's very little seating inside and as I said, bring cash. But the bartenders are nice and service is usually quick. They have a pool table but it is usually packed with quite a line. And the bathrooms, though better now that there's not a beachball sized hole between the toilet and the area with the sink, leave a lot to be desired. For instance a lock on either the adjoining room or at least where the toilet is. And last time I went there was a large hole in the ground next to the toilet. They now have a smoking patio that is quite large, with plenty of standing room, though not a huge amount of seats. Still a nice escape from the loud and crowded enterior. On different nights they have DJs playing everything from Punk to oldies and the dance floor does see some use. All in all a pretty common dive bar in a slowly djentrifying area of town.

The bartender was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I have always found this place to be dark. They have great prices and have been around for a long time, but the servers need some help. I will not be back until they fix the staff.

Originally went to this place after reading a Yelp review from 2010 that was so funny it made me both cry and pee my pants. Once I had visited Bikini Lounge, I Loved everything about it! Here are some tips: Watch out for the homeless guys eyeballing you, your car and your girlfriend in and around the "parking lot" -- They'll murder you and your date for fun, leaving your bodies in the abandoned motel across the street, then steal your car, eventually picking up hookers and blow with the spare cash you left in the console before selling your jacked stereo system to an undercover cop, fleeing the scene while being pursued by and opening fire on a police helicopter, eventually crashing your car into the Salt River, being arrested, and telling the cops that you're a demon and that you made them do it. Try to keep your hands off of the fucked up rusty ass metal front door that you'll probably cut yourself on. I'm certain there's MERSA, SARS, Ebola and Bird Flu all over that thing. Let your eyes adjust before getting too far inside. I'm pretty sure there are only two lights in the whole place, one of which illuminates the front of the coin operated porn photo dispenser in the men's room (another story). Do NOT ask if they take credit, unless you like to get punched in the mouth by your bartenders. That lady will sucker punch you, then jump over the bar like some kind of quadruple black belt, flying round house kick you in the junk and then just throw you a beating until you die from it (see above thoughts about bodies being disposed of in nearby abandoned motel). That said, DO sit at the bar and leave your change for a $20 in front of you while you're drinking directly from small pitchers of sweet sweet PBR. The non-bikini clad bartender will be more likely to keep your beer coming. If you snag a booth, don't concern yourself too much with what that greasy feeling stuff is on the upholstery. The light is too dim for you to see what it looks like, no matter how hard you try. DO NOT get your phone out and turn on the flashlight app! DO NOT DO IT. You will regret it. Also, I advise against trying to determine what it is by smell. Try not to touch it either and, if you accidentally do, get to the cesspool (see below) as quickly as possible to try and wash it off your hands. Or pour straight Everclear from the bar on the affected area (do a shot while you're at it) to sanitize it. If the greasy stuff gets on your clothes, just burn them later. It will be best for all of us that you NOT take them back to Goodwill. If the TV is on some garbage show and there's no music, DO NOT ask to change the channel. You will not easily receive further sweet sweet PBRs. Just go over to the BOMB ASS jukebox which has every fucking song ever made by every artist (except Bieber, they deleted that shit thankfully) and feed it dolla dolla bills y'all to drown out the shitty TV that's as old as some of the patrons. Nothing like pissing off the natives! If you happen to sit next to Santa (well, the older, sadder version at least), make an effort to chat him up. Anybody who refuses to let a wheelchair and an oxygen tank deter him from getting shit faced has to be an interesting guy, right? Yes, when visiting the men's room, you can put money in a box on the wall, and instead of getting ribbed for her pleasure XXL sized condoms or a nice fake tat or a bouncy ball, you'll receive a photo with porn on it. Fantastic! Who replenishes the supply of porn photos? Is this shit printed by somebody at home and cut into little cards to go into the dispenser? Who the fuck knows, just do it. After taking a moment to enjoy your wallet sized porn, BE CAREFUL. When navigating the disgusting, vomit spattered, bacteria infested cesspool of a "bathroom", watch out for the drain in the floor. I SWEAR TO GOD that accidentally stepping in that hole will cause you to fall A) to your death, B) straight to hell or C) to China. And while you're on your way you'll pick up about 30 diseases and probably get shit on you. Literally shit. IMHO, all of the above makes this a dive bar worth checking out. I mean, let's face it, there are not a lot of bars in town where you can be surprised at the stark lack of bikinis anywhere in the vicinity, easily be injured, infected, die and get your car stolen or molested all in the same night. Add on top of that the approximately $3 PITCHERS of sweet sweet PBR that you just pick up and drink straight out of, that their 1940's era liquor license allows them to sell you booze to go (yes you can buy an entire bottle of booze there and take it with you) and the fact that the building is probably one microburst away from falling down, and you've got a winner in your hands. BIKINI LOUNGE FTW!

Reading your reviews, I expected a smelly, run-down dive that was all sorts of crazy. I saw nothing of the sort. It looked pretty clean for a dive, had some awesome seating, and a decent tap selection. It's such a small bar, but they do a great job of utilizing that space. The crowd is pretty cool, too. If only it weren't so inaccessible, right in the middle of an ugly part of town, with very little parking. I won't count the horrors of CenPho against it. Chug some PBR and wait for all the hipsters to migrate from Trunk Space.

I dig the dive bar atmosphere of this place and the tiki decor. Always has good music playing and an interesting array of customers. They are cash only, which can be a bummer for someone like me who almost never has cash. They do have a couple "cash only" signs, but they do blend in with everything else on the walls. There is an ATM inside which is nice, but it does apply a $3 charge for using it. The drinks here vary. I've had great whiskey and cokes and some not so great, tasting mostly of soda. I like this place a lot, but it can be hit or miss.

Stopped in here early on a Friday night. Only about 8 people in here when we arrived so plenty of places to sit. The bar seats about 10 and they have another 10 or so tables so it's a good sized place. They have a small back patio and a pool table, juke box and some arcade games. They only take cash (they do have an ATM). They don't serve food here except for some bags of chips. I asked another customer where to get food and he suggested a couple places in walking distance (good to know). Drinks are pretty cheap, the décor is pretty tacky and the staff is nice. They have a small band setup and play on First Fridays, we didn't stay to hear them but it's an instrumental band only I guess. The parking lot is around the back. The bathrooms are single seaters. Overall, it's not a bad dive bar and I'd go again if in the area.

My dream is to one day ride the bus to Bikini Lounge, get rip-roaring drunk, throw up all over myself and take the bus back home. Okay, so maybe this fantasia will never come to fruition, but a boy can dream. Right? Bikini Lounge epitomizes dive bar in a way that is beyond compare. On the one hand, there's something priceless about a bar where there's an over abundance of tackiness (Christmas lights let on all year long, wobbly bar stools, sticky floors, mini-porn photos in the toilet dispensers). But on the other hand, there's something to be said about its less than finer moments (urine reeking bathrooms--come on guys, hit your mark and not the floor, and some particularly odoriferous customers). Yeah, I'm a fan of Bikini Lounge. FWIW, the last time we were here there was a sign indicating the bar was up for sale. Hopefully, the new owners won't change a thing and perhaps one day you'll see me step off the 15 bus with a wad of money and a devious grin on my face. If such is the case, don't stand too close and don't offer me a ride home. Just push me back on the bus if I'm passed out and sticking to the floor in the men's john.

My husband and I decided to try this place as we have lived in the area for a while but never tried this place. The bartender was really rude and didn't even explain what drinks they offered and wasn't willing to explain. We ordered one pitcher of beer and were given limes that were already brown. The beer tasted real nasty, like it was left out for a while or something. No music was playing, only had the small tv on. Overall not pleased with my experience.

Another town, another tiki bar. Actually this bar is more like a dive bar ( not that there is anything wrong with that). We got tiki drinks that were $7 each, so super cheap. They were pretty good too. The music was eclectic, lots of country music the night we stopped in. Not over the top tiki themed, more like "tiki-lite." If you're wanting a casual place to grab a reasonably priced drink, this is your place.

Best Bar in the Valley!!! This place is a hidden gem in Phoenix, AZ. One of my favorite low key spots were you can drink and dance or just hangout and play pool. You see a huge range of people and is such a great hide out after a long day. Not your typical dive bar and has great music.

I first stumbled upon this place during a First Friday excursion and went back again in the middle of the week. Both nights were completely different, but neither sucked. Just a great old tiki bar off by itself with drinks that practically cost pennies. Can anyone argue with that? So a lady owns the joint? During First Friday, an old guy told me that he owned the Bikini Lounge after patronizing it since the early 70's. He gave me the whole history of the place and the surrounding neighborhood, and how everything changed once Interstate 10 was opened and Grand Ave. went through a long period of decline, before more recently going back on the upswing thanks to the artists moving in. But through all of the neighborhood's phases, the Bikini Lounge has stuck around as Phoenix's premiere dive. And that alone kicks ass.
