Lovely setting for some great food, cocktails & wine. I had the marmite éclair, the baked truffled Tunworth with pear chutney (shared) and the beef fillet steak with skinny fries and salad. I had the Nutbourne Bacchus wine which went really well with the cheese. The service was excellent and the steak was cooked to perfection.

Nice pub by the Gladwin Brothers. Went for brunch and the highlight was the service and relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, prepared with care and good quality ingredients, but thought that the menu could have gone a little above and beyond the basic dishes for the price. Nevertheless would definitely be back as great addition to Battersea. Plenty of outdoor seating space next to the river, excellent for a sunny summer day. Very dog friendly too which is a plus.

The menu is very limited; that said, the food is barely ok. The best part of the meal was the butter that came with the focaccia! The focaccia was dry and hard. The courgette and home made ricotta was well presented but lacked in flavour. Deep fried courgette is always good but didn’t really go with the ricotta and surely the citrus segment didn’t go well in the dish. The bavette steak was ok, a bit tough but cooked properly. The spinach purée was horrendous! The bream was fine. Chips were good so was the bernaise sauce. As I said the food was ok but nothing special. Service, on the other hand, was appalling. We were completely forgotten, to the point where someone dropped the dessert menu and no one came to take the order. We waited close to 20 minutes for someone to come back to the table and that was after we flagged them! What a shame. Especially considering the restaurant was not full and there were plenty staff gathering around. The decor of the restaurant is quirky but needs a good clean as there were plenty cobwebs hanging from the decorations in the ceiling. The extractor in the kitchen is either not working properly or not good enough as the restaurant got full of smoke from the grill. I love the concept of farm to table but this place needs work, both on the menu and the staff training. I felt the staff were arrogant and not hospitable at all.

Went here on a Sunday around 6pm, we were the only ones there, so was quite nice. The menu was mainly roasts. Had the roast beef with trimmings, it was nice and filling. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit disappointing and maybe would have liked some other veggie on there. Overall a nice meal and very good service from all, but in particular our server, young slim brunette lady, maybe Polish/Eastern European. Nice views to dine at and would like to try the regular menu on another day.

Absolutely gorgeous little eatery tucked away, off the high street. Lovely decor, incredible food and amazing staff! The open kitchen and the quirky decor means you'll be cosy and intrigued. Our lovely tapas style starters were so delicious and the mains were perfectly cooked. The local wine list was extra special and you must try the pink champers! Will definitely be back!

Amazing experience at Nutbourne last night. Lovely surroundings and decor, particularly loved the church stools. The food was worth every penny. Flavoursome and amazing. Particularly loved the new potatoes with pesto, they were incredible. Will definitely be back !

Nothing about this full English was good really. Everything was lukewarm to cold, poached eggs were overcooked, toast was borderline burnt. Seriously disappointing. Didn’t even rate the coffee. Only saving grace was the Bloody Mary, which was, in fairness, absolutely delicious.

Over all was ok.. best of all was the melted cheese with truffle. The steak, sirloin had some tendons, was a bit too chewy for my liking. The trout ceviche, was ok too, flavour with the orange / tangerine was tatsy but over all a bit disappointed for the price. 3 dishes plus 2 glasses of wine came to £83

Probably one of the best relaxed atmosphere as far as restaurants go is in London the only thing I was the cocktails could've been a little bit more original rather than re-creation of its American counterparts

Bunch servings are tiny: 1 small piece of bread, 2 tablespoons of beans, half a tomato with 2 eggs for more than £10. Perfectly fine but nothing special ("Battersea Beans" look and taste the same as Heinz). Poor service, didn't get our coffees at all, but they did offer to give us for free had we had time to wait. Not a patch on the previous restaurant at the same place, Source.

Had a brilliant lunch here - great selection of varying dishes, excellent flavours and very friendly service. Venison loin with wild mushrooms, pears and cabbage a standout 'must eat' - highly recommended!

We just found this place the other day and had a great experience there. The food and atmosphere were both amazing. The restaurant is tucked away alongside one of the canals with both indoor and outdoor seating. We started with a salad and for our mains my wife had the Whole grilled Plaice and I had the Mussels and both were amazing. The cocktails were also very tasty and we cant wait to go back and enjoy more of what they have to offer.

On the day we arrived, website said kitchen closed at 10:30. They closed early and tried to make us feel awkward about it when we arrived at 10pm. It is not our fault their website is wrong. Would not have been annoyed except that they were trying to make it seem like it's our fault for expecting to be fed when a kitchen is open, Too bad bc was looking forward to the food. Apparently they are updating their website.
