Seoul Gimbap

My wife picked up lunch from here for me, and I didn’t even get a chance to eat it right away it sat out for several hours. Even then, it was absolutely fantastic. The steak was perfectly savory with a slight sweetness, and the pork had a gentle heat that wasn’t overpowering at all just beautifully layered flavor. Everything came together so well that I honestly wish I had known how good this place was beforehand so I could’ve ordered more of each. These Gimbap were so good I’ll be thinking about them all weekend. Definitely coming back.

Authentic onigiri that packs big flavor!!! I ordered the spicy Korean bbq and the spicy tuna mayo. SO GOOD! I'll be coming back to try more for sure! It's so cool how they're busy making the onigiri right there, too. I couldn't recommend this place more!!

All the Onigiri are really good. My favorites from the 4 that I ordered were Korean BBQ and the Beef Bulgogi. Unwrapping them is easy once you’ve gone through it the first time. My first time I didn’t realize that when pulling the skinny plastic wrapper that goes all the way around onigiri. Then follow the steps. Haha. I’d recommend coming through and giving Seoul Gimbap a try. I plan on coming back to try some of their other dishes.

A small business that packs big flavor. Authentic onigiri can be found in this Oriental Market in the NE Heights. The unique combinations of flavors can sell out quickly, for a reason, and are only around for a few hours during the day. I had the bulgogi and the tempura shrimp and the beef was flavorful and tender, and the tempura was crispy and warm.

We got an order in early today and got 3 of every flavor. Absolutely amazing! The food is too good! Everyone that works in the store and at the counter is super kind helpful. Just the kind of business we like to support. Keep it up guys, we'll be back soon! -The GM Crew

Seoul Gimbap has become a household name within our home as one of our absolute favorite easy, delicious go-to locales. Here, you'll find the tastiest onigiri ABQ has to offer as well as the friendliest service too! Now they have opened a location in the wonderful Kim's Oriental Market, so our onigiri cravings have gotten all the easier to soothe. The flavor and quality is always excellent, ever since their pop up market days at UNM. 100/10, go try 'em out and you won't regret it.

ONIGIRI in ALBUQUERQUE!? Bring it! Spicy Korean BBQ IS INCREDIBLE. Perfect Everything. Spicy Bbq Flavor, Rice, Nori. Friggin SLAPS. I was thinking I would like the beef bulgogi more because that’s usually my jam but the deliciousness of the spicy Korean BBQ was just unforgettable. You really can’t go wrong here. I generally won’t drive this deep into the east for food but this is everything I miss about home and the food I grew up with. Thank you for being here Seoul gimbap you are all so lovely and talented and I hope your business is successful!

My new favorite place! The onigiri is delicious and freshly made. The owner is super sweet and wonderful. Supplies run out fast, but the food is well worth the wait. ❤️ For the owner: Thank you for testing out your new menu item with me in addition to my order. It was FANTASTIC! The combination of the fatty pork was perfect with the sauce. My only suggestions may be to add some toppings to make it a more varied ricebowl--such as a fried egg, spring onions, or sesame seeds on top. But even without those suggestions, I considered it a flawless execution of flavors. I'm very much looking forward to the next time I visit. ❤️
