The first, on Friday, October 14, will feature plates from Misti Norris (who has Stepchild in the Attalie through the end of this year), Petra and the Beast in Dallas, and Paul Liebrandt (whose restaurants in London and New York City have two Michelin stars). The second, on Saturday, October 15, pairs Liebrandt with award-winning Dallas chef Josh Harmon of Birdie at Exchange Hall; both nights will offer six-course meals with an optional beverage pairing. "A short-run Acadian- and French-inspired pop-up open for dinner Thurs–Sun (reservations recommended) that debuted at the end of June and runs only a few months; the small menu is tightly curated and consistently appealing. Starters included a decadent crab butter — fresh crab meat submerged in butter and perfect smeared on a baguette — and a summer tomato salad accented with candied hazelnuts and shavings of sour tomato that play nicely with juicy seasonal tomatoes. The ground floor will see Ichi Ni San rebranded as Ichi, a poke bowl and sushi concept.
