On the Grid : Rolling Greens

"Welcome to plant paradise! What HD Buttercup is to furniture, Rolling Greens is to plants. It’s hands down one of the best nurseries in the city. It’s become our go to for our indoor & outdoor greenery needs. We’re pretty sure if you’re looking for it, they will have it. But even if you're not planning on buying, the relaxing atmosphere and outdoor areas alone warrant a visit." - Rapt Studio

On the Grid : Rolling Greens

"One of the most beautiful ways to shop for plants and various home thingies. In an old auto mechanic's shop, this place is picture perfect. The place to go to add some green to your home, buy a gift, or just get inspired." - One Long House

"Rolling Greens in the Arts District (there are also locations on Beverly and Jefferson) is a city within a city, but greener. Two acres of flowers, plants, and home décor ideas hug the Los Angeles River—and we can’t get enough of this place. The former scrap-metal yard is the perfect one-stop shop to kit out your house and yard with Cali-appropriate plants, pottery, and gorgeously rustic pieces. There’s a cute café on-site because mulling over rosebushes and landscaping conundrums with Rolling Greens’ designers is more fun with a cappuccino to sip. We also keep the cavernous entertainment space at the back of our minds for friends hunting for a beautiful wedding venue or event space."

A Massive All-Day Cafe Grows Inside a Working Arts District Garden | Eater LA

"I'm excited to see Rolling Greens growing even deeper roots in Los Angeles with a gigantic new Arts District flagship that will operate two full acres of growing area, event space, and an all-day cafe. Known as an upscale nursery and events space with existing locations in Culver City and along Beverly Boulevard, they let curious shoppers choose their own cultivars after speaking with knowledgeable staff or stay for an evening learning session with a glass of wine. The new Arts District site goes all-in on food and beverage with a standalone daytime/evening dining space focused on small plates served alongside beer and wine, a 1,760-square-foot sunny deck, roughly 10,000 square feet of open-air event space, and rows of fruit trees and other plant life. Reps say the greenhouse and growing operations will open first in early May, the restaurant will likely arrive mid-summer, and with two acres at the corner of Mateo and Bay (a block from Bestia) it's poised to transform the neighborhood by fall." - Farley Elliott

What a cool spot to host an event, aesthetic-wise (not sure financially if it's a good price lol)! I was here to attend a wellness event and I was impressed with the size of the spot and the varied options indoors and outdoors for whatever you need to host. Inside, there was enough room for a stage for speakers, a little backstage area for the speakers to congregate, counter space to serve food and drinks, space to sell merchandise, and an almost enclosed space for a separate session. Outdoors, there was seating for meals and open grassy and first space with tents for any outdoor programming. The event organizers rented some fancy outdoor temporary restrooms, so I'm unsure if Rolling Greens has restrooms at all or if they had restrooms, but it wasn't sufficient for our large gathering. I saw there was also parking available inside the gates that you can close, though for the event I attended, the parking spots were not utilized and we had to take the drawn parking spots outside, find street parking (which wasn't too bad), or do valet.

It's a lovely place, I was totally surprised both buildings are so amazing , the green house building is so nice , a whole warehouse just for plants it looks like there's more plants coming soon, but what they have there it transport you to a place far away as soon as you step inside. Across the green house building is their main building, this is a jewel it's aiming to the person looking for the perfect table to go with their plants , or who knows maybe be the perfect living room to go with their new terrariums, very nice selection of furniture and decorations. If you are in Downtown LA this is a must.

This venue is so perfect to host your wedding celebration! We are local LA wedding photographer and we are obsessed with this space. It is a green garden oasis tucked away right in the heart of the city.

If you are looking for affordable, healthy plants for the urban garden of your dreams, this is an amazing spot to check out. It's massive! Beautiful space and great prices and super friendly staff. A plant lover's delight. There was a pop-up cafe and a pop-up ceramist. Must see!

Beautiful event space with lots of plants and high end simple-modern decor (lots of wooden furniture). We had my company party here and had a great time.

Big beautiful indoor and outdoor space. Attended a 30th year anniversary to celebrate the work of an incredible community based organization in South LA! Really enjoyed all the comfy sofas and chairs outside!
