Dish Korean Cuisine

We stopped by Dish Korean Cuisine on a rainy afternoon, and it turned out to be the perfect comfort food experience. We ordered the fried tofu, tofu soup, and shrimp kimchi fried rice — everything was flavorful and hit the spot. The staff was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt inviting and relaxed, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is the pricing — the food was great, but noticeably more expensive than other local Korean spots offering similar dishes. Still, if you're looking for quality food and good service, Dish Korean Cuisine delivers.

I had an amazing lunch today at Dish, and I’m still thinking about it! The menu had so many tempting options, but since I was dining solo, I kept it light (or at least I tried to!). I started with the seafood soup, which featured shrimp, tofu, and clams in a flavorful, spicy broth. It arrived bubbling hot—literally. I had to let it cool off a bit, but once I dug in, it was gone in no time. The spice level was just right, adding a nice kick without overwhelming the dish. For my main, I ordered the bento box with beef bulgogi as my protein. It came with rice, salad, sushi, tempura, onion rings, and a side of kimchi. The portions were incredibly generous and well worth the price. Every element was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. To sip, I went with an iced coffee, which was surprisingly good. And as a nice touch, they offered a complimentary mini yogurt drink, perfect for gut health and a sweet little finish to the meal. The ambiance was bright and airy, with plenty of seating, making it ideal for solo diners or families alike. The service was warm and attentive—I was greeted right away, and the overall vibe was peaceful and welcoming. This spot really left a great impression. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

One of my favorite places to eat! It feels so healthy! Every bite is so delicious you just wanna keep eating even though you’re full. I’ve been here about six times and the food is so consistent and wonderful. I just wish that they could still put the raw egg on top like they used to when they first opened. When ordering, if you want a hot dish, make sure to ask first because some dishes are served cold. Ask me how I know! Beef bulgogi is my favorite!

The food was soooo good!! The bbq short ribs, bbq bulgogi, japche and potstickers was to die for!! ALL of it was sooo good!! I hope they keep the menu the same!! I will definitely be back!! The best I've had!!

This was our first time eating here. It didn’t disappoint. All of the food was flavorful and good portions. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The only complaint was my spicy soup had an over abundance of tofu which made it gooey, one small shrimp, one mussel and tiny pieces is squid. There should be equal parts of protein in the soup. Prices were very reasonable. Look forward to visit very soon.

My family has been eating here for years. Still authentic, fantastic quality food and service. The shrimp kimchi fried rice is a personal favorite of mine (I order that every time). Overall, the banchans are very good. Clean bathrooms and space.

Thought fried rice would be a safe option, ate only half of it and ended up with food poisoning, and it was my first meal of the day. Should’ve expected it after seeing the health inspector rating of 82, a low B is not great for a restaurant. They also brought the soups out boiling hot for show but they were extremely unpleasant to eat even after 20 minutes of blowing and stirring. Ended up taking the majority to go. Otherwise it was an average experience. The bathrooms are nice.

This place is good, and the service was quick with friendly staff. The menu was very clear for people who are trying this cuisine for the first time with pictures of the food. We had chicken kimchi fried rice and cheese dduk bokki. The Tofu soup has lot of veggies but seemed to lack salt and it was not flavorful. Side dishes are some of the good ones around. Would recommend this place for people who want to try Korean cuisine.

The plus side is they still have an extensive menu, prices are reasonable, portions are good - however it doesn't quite feel like an authentic Korean restaurant. It seems like maybe the ownership changed b/c the same Korean servers I used to see are not there anymore. When we went, all the servers were non-Asian - very nice though. Also they only offer 4 banchan (most Korean restaurants serve 7 banchan) - only 2 were Korean (kimchi and bean sprouts); the other 2 - macaroni salad and green beans. HAEMUL JJAMPONG KALGUKSU - $16 Noodles were good (not handmade), broth was ok, and seafood comprised squid, mussels (no shell), clams, and 2 shrimp. Other dishes - tried my friends' Chicken Tenders which I found on the bland side. They also got the bulgogi and spicy pork bowls for $13 each - which was just meat, rice, and salad. The plates (vs bowls) might be more interesting. No hurry to come back but nice to know if I'm looking for a Korean spot that isn't crowded, this is the place to go.

As someone who has parents that are picky about getting good Korean food, I'd say this place received their seal of approval - they seemed satisfied with their meals and I got a spicy pork bulgogi bento box which I very much enjoyed it. They have a good menu variety of traditional Korean dishes. The service was good and the staff friendly. We were given a handful of plates of banchan. I would recommend if you're in the area looking for some good Korean food. A fun fact: they have autographs from a number of celebrities and idols displayed on their wall by the front which is fun to take a look at.

I really enjoy eating at Dish whenever I crave Korean food. My favorites are the tteokbokki, kimbap, Korean army stew, and seafood pancake. They only offer four banchan dishes, but they're also my favorites: bean sprouts, pickled cucumbers, kimchi, and fish cakes. Feel free to ask for refills on the banchan! The staff is always really friendly, and the interior is very comfortable. You get a discount if you pay in cash ( you save more than just the credit card transaction fee).

The Gopchang Jjigae was awesome. Super tasty, so much so that I brought the leftover soup home and put a udon noodle in it and had a second meal. I'd come back just for that. Not a big fan of sweet and sour tofu in general but my friend who ordered it liked it. The flavors were great. Very surprised to find a quality korean restaurant with so many menu choices this far from Duluth. Great location for us because we are close by a lot. Will come again to try more items!

This place used to be on my lunch rotation a lot more before covid, because they had a lunch menu. However, i came back recently and I forgot how much I've missed their food. They have introduced a combo set and bento box option which really is a great way to get a little taste of everything! Parking can get challenging sometimes because it's located next to food terminal and an asian market, but overall I'm so glad i decided to come back! The feels of this place is very authentic.

Came as a party of 12 with a reservation in advance, so they might have been overwhelmed with a large group. Their service was good, they made sure our waters were always filled. But the food is VERY mid. Rose tteokbokki was super watery and only had like 10 rice cakes in it. Seafood pancake was soft and mushy instead of crunchy. Soondubu soft tofu stew came with a lot of variety for the proteins but was lacking flavor. My vegetarian friend whose birthday we were celebrating tried ordering the kimbap because the menu said it was vegetarian-friendly, but it had fish cake in it which went against her diet. We complained and they took it off the menu, but it was clear that the waitress didn't believe us when we said we had fish cake in it (or maybe she was confused, but we had a couple of Korean speakers explain the situation and they still had to repeat themselves at least 3 times before she understood). The food was pricey. What we got in terms of quality and quantity was absolutely NOT worth the price. I think they tried their best to accommodate all of us, and I appreciate the effort, but I don't remember the last time I felt this underwhelmed at a Korean restaurant in Doraville. Won't return again.

I haven't been here in awhile and glad to visit again since everything was so worth it. I heard that the quality of their food has gone down, but definitely wasn't the case this time around. We came on Friday afternoon around lunch time and there were 3 other tables with customers. It was pretty empty considering they're located right next to the popular Food Terminal. We were greeted right away and seated down. We started perusing the regular menu, then one of the sweet servers dropped off a lunch menu. I ordered the kimchi stew and tteokbokki to share with my husband. He ordered a spicy pork bulgogi lunch set. Shortly after placing our order, the server dropped off banchan - my personal favorite were the green beans and fish cake. My kimchi stew was pungent and piping hot. It had a nice spice and served with white rice. It was alot of food and didn't really dig into the tteokbokkin as much as I wanted. Nevertheless, I left Dish with a happy stomach.

Great food. Got chicken Bibimbap. Loved it. Good Service. The owner is dedicated to making sure you have a good experience. There is a chain next to this restaurant which I will never repeat. One visit was too many times.

We've been to Dish plenty of times, and we always enjoy it. It's been our first time back since the change in management, but the food is still great! We got the kimchi fried rice and seafood tofu soup. I enjoyed my seafood tofu soup, and it came with a good mix of seafood. The kimchi fried rice was delicious as always, and the only thing we noticed was that cheddar was added as one of the cheeses, but it didn't taste any different. The banchan it came with was also a lot bigger than they used to be, and they offered refills. We like how clean the restaurant is, and we love the decoration as well.

At a shopping center. We started off with the tteokbokki, kimchi pancake, Korean style chicken wings with spicy chili sauce, C5 Bibimbap + kimchi tofu soup and two hot tea. $78.44 Their kimchi pancake is okay, although I was surprised to find squid in it, missed the menu options for seafood or seafood kimchi pancake. I really wasn't expecting or wanting any seafood in my pancake at all. Should have been more specific and clear. The dipping sauce is good. The rose tteokbokki sauce is good, nice kick and heat to it. The rice cakes are quite soft and mushy. The tea has a subtle flavor, but still quenches your thirst. The bibimbap default comes with bulgogi beef, which my husband had to eat, since I don't eat red meat. The bibimbap with a bit more sesame oil and gochujang was good. The kimchi tofu was okay, a bit bland, the bulk of the flavor has settled to the bottom of the crock pi The banchans: kimchi, cucumber kimchi, broccoli and fish cake.

Pretty simple korean restaurant with delicious food! They have a variety of soups, noodles, and rice dishes. I especially liked their side dishes (Kimchi, potato, fish cake, & assorted veggies). Their yookaejjang and potato pancakes were very good, especially. Nice portions, friendly service, and a clean environment. Only complaint is that the restaurant gets kinda hot (especially when you're eating spicy/hot foods. I would consider lowering the ac just a tad bit more. Other than that, no complaints!

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. I have mixed feelings about it. The banchan was good. The salad was standard. The galbi was nicely done, and the sesame and seasonings on the rice was a nice touch. The japchae seemed heavy and greasy, and the tempura had a heavy over fried coating that made it unappetizing. I thought this was overpriced until my plate came out heaping with food; it's actually quite a good deal, but the poorly executed tempura really took it down a notch. The first waitress was fine, but it took a good 15-20 mins for them to notice I was done and needed my check. There were only 2 other tables so I felt this was poor form. Not sure I'll be back.

Enjoyed a filling lunch on a chilly day at Dish. This Korean restaurant has a wide array of options. The service is great and the staff gave us great recommendations. Prices range $10-20 for most dishes and the food is filling and delicious! Food comes out hot in the cast iron so be careful with that first bite! Parking is plentiful.

Really close to my house and right next to food terminal ! Parking is always tough here but the food is very good! I gave this place lots of tries and they definitely got better. This place is very authentic but very fit for non koreans. Still really good!

Stopped in for lunch, servers were two super sweet ladies...which I feel is pretty rare as far as Korean spots go. Normally it's no bullsh*t just order and get out...which I love...but anyway they were very nice. Place was neat and tidy, and nicely decorated. They offer water or tea, with no ice. I brought my own water, because I dislike the taste of Dekalb Co. water...so I can't offer much on how their tea tastes. Banchan-All tasty and nicely seasoned. My fav was the bean curd in terms of flavor, kimchi next, then potato salad and lastly green beans. All of them were fresh, well besides the kimchi...lol Mando-I got them steamed but you could have them fried. In terms of flavor, they were pretty bland. The dipping sauce, which I'm assuming is ponzu-like was nice and light-but the meat mixture could have used some salt at the least. With that said, they were steamed perfectly, the meat portion was good and the wrapper was thin. Kimchi pancake-They needed salt or soy sauce or something added to the batter. They were crispy and spicy...but that was it. The kimchi flavor got lost because the batter was so bland. I ended up eating them mixed into the salad. The noodles in the salad were perfection! They were bouncy and springy and chilled. *chefs kiss* All of the veggies were crispy and fresh and perfectly sized to slurp up with the noodles. The sauce was a little sweet and a little spicy and complimented the beef nicely. The beef was cooked well and had nice flavor, I would have liked a few crispy bits as opposed to the steamed consistency of the meat....but eehh I realize that's a me thing probably. I'd come back...nothing here is mind blowing or show stoppingly good, but it's a really nice place to grab a quick lunch that tastes good...even if it's a smidge pricey.

Nice place. Great Korean food. I ordered the seafood pancake. It would be good if they had more variety of seafood in it. My friend had some kind of soup that was awesome. They brought out the traditional side dishes that were very tasty. The menu was extensive, and it was hard to choose what to order. It should be good to have some english descriptions for those of us not familiar with Korean food. It is definitely worth returning to try other dishes.

I like Dish! They are located on Buford Highway next to Food Terminal on Buford Highway. It's not a huge spot but I do like how the tables are spaced out and appreciate the traditional and minimalist interior design. They also have a private room available too which is a great option for dinner meetings and bigger groups. The food here is tasty. They have a variety of Korean soups/stews and other popular Korean dishes. I liked the appetizer options they have here. The different jeonsnqre food and have a nice presentation. The cream cheese appetizer- Lucky Pockets were so good! I could've had more of those without hesitation. The banchan (small side Korean dishes) were good too. I love the dduk mandoo guk here. The dumplings in my soup tasted and looked like they were homemade. The bow it comes in his huge but it's not a generous portion. Very tasty though. I would definitely recommend this place to others and come back to try some of the other dishes. I also appreciated the extensive menu and photos/descriptions of each menu item.

I wanted some short ribs (Galbi) so bad! Looked for Korean restaurants around me and landed on this one! I ordered takeout but it was very nice on the inside. It wasn't crowded at all and the service was good! The food was really good and I have enough for a few meals lol I will definitely be returning!!

I got the beef rib soup on a rainy day and it was exactly what I needed. It's a savory but clean soup with the beef rib and noodles. The side dishes were delicious as well!

Great Korean and great prices. Haven't had a bad thing yet and the galbi is delicious (my fave) and only $25! Normally it costs $30-$45. Seafood kimchi pancake is great. Have dining in and ordered in and both times were great. And it's one of the few places that have fish cake in their bonchon anymore. Service was great. Right next to food terminal and a great farmers market. Cute place inside. Will definitely be coming back for more.

I've been here twice and really enjoyed it. I got the spare ribs with cheese, and fried chicken. It was delicious and consistent. Everything was fresh. The service was quick and friendly. It has a lot of sitting space and small gathering areas. There's plenty of parking.

This place was fantastic. I would definitely say it ranks higher in my list of Korean restaurants I've been to in metro Atlanta. It isn't the traditional cook-in-front KBBQ but still really good with reasonable prices.

Went to Dish for Mother's Day dinner! It was not your typical ethnic Korean food but pretty close. Banchan was what was lacking for it to reach the high level. I am Used to multiple and varied bowls of Banchan at other places. I had Korean fried chicken wings - they were amazing. My husband had a vegetarian bibimbap, but he didn't care for it as much as the Stone Bowl which is the benchmark for all Korean food for us. Service was good, albeit a bit slow. it rained heavily as we finished our dinner and the hosts were really kind to let us stay until rain let up.

Love this spot for a quality classic korean dishes. Big fan of their kimchee pancakes (nice and crispy which I like) and galbi, would absolutely recommend it to any and all.

This place has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is amazing every time we come, consistently good. It's not a big location, but we've never had a problem getting a seat. There's one large flat screen TV playing K-Pop videos. In the video is the Beef Short Rib Plate (Box) and Spicy Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. And it's so delicious! Plenty of Free Parking in the same strip mall as City Farmers Market and next to Food Terminal. The customer service is wonderful... I just love everything about this place.

I ordered on DoorDash and was fully aware of people's critiques. With that in mind, I can confirm the beef in my bibimbap was not tasty, but also compromised in quality. Luckily they only added a teaspoon of it, which made it easy to remove. Minus the meat- the bowl was tasty. Banchan was good. The spicy pork meat was also lacking in quality, but flavorful- if that makes sense. I did not eat the meat but I attempted to salvage the sauce and onions to eat with the white rice. I may try Dish again but I would abstain from the meat.

This place is cute and bright/well-lit. Our party of 5 was seated within 5-10 minutes after arriving around 7pm. Food came out fairly quickly as well. Pork came out on a hot plate - it was very juicy and flavorful and a little spicy. So yummy - would definitely get it again. I couldn't finish it - ended up being almost 2 meals for me. There were 4 little plates for banchan and Yakut at the end. The green beans were particularly yummy. If I would change anything about the experience it would be having an additional banchan option :D or maybe refills (which they probs have we just did not explicitly request any)

I remember coming to Dish a long while ago when they first opened. It didn't make a good impression on me. But after all this time, I decided to come back, and I'm glad I did! There's a variety of noodle and soup dishes on the menu, as well as a more modern burger or taco option. We went with the usual beef bibimbap and Suk Galbi. Flavor was great on both. I think I actually prefer the bibimbap here over my beloved So Kong Dong, but the galbi there still inches out this one. Service was prompt, and prices were fair. Lots of easy parking outside in that shopping center. I look forward to coming back to Dish with some friends.

Amazing food and amazing decor! Felt like I was in Korea. Service was mid but still had a good time.

There are tables outside but they don't currently serve outside. They still let us order to go and eat outside which was nice and even brought us water cups to bring outside and the food. We also got all of the korean appetizers ready in little take out bins which was perfect and an added touch. The food was good. We got a bibimbap with bulgogi which was as expected. We also got a spicy chicken dish which was very spicy and massive. The prices were a little higher than expected but when we realized the chicken dish would have served 3 alone then it was very reasonable. Would go back and definitely try more things. The staff was friendly and the food was ready so quickly.

Very good food. I ordered the kimchi jiggae with mackerel and it was sooo good. Lots of mackerel and good amount of kimchi, broth was justttt right in warmth and spice. It's not spicy, but it warms you up, perfect for a cold cloudy day. I got it to go and it was enough food for a meal and then a small meal. They give you some banchan (small side dishes) and rice. What kind of surprised me was that the amount of time it took me to get there and then back to my place was about 45 minutes, but when I got home, the food was still pretty hot so that was an added plus. Service is slow here and not the friendliest but also, I don't care; no one was rude and the food was good lol. It's located in plaza parking lot.

They have a variety of dishes. I was able to try their cheese and egg mari, haemul pajeon, and ttukbaegi bulgogi. Their cheese and egg mari needs a bit more seasoning and the cheese it not quite melted on top. The haemul pajeon was lacking the content but overall crispy which is nice. The ttukbaegi bulgogi soup was very delicious as the soup has amazing flavors and filling with the glass noodles.

Pretty good korean food, has all of your regular favorites. Felt like the sundubu could have been more flavorful and the galbi comes as large chunks instead of slices FYI. My personal favorite was the kimchi pancake which was very crispy. Ban Chan was alright, could use more variety! Service was pretty quick, the area is clean and overall a chill place to hang out with fam or friends.

I really enjoyed my meal at Dish. I can't come up with any reason not to give them 5 stars. I came with friends on a Sunday afternoon and while they were steadily turning tables our meal didn't feel rushed at all. We shared the kimchee pancake, and it was soooooo good. I had the yuzu citrus tea and it was a refreshing compliment to my meal. I had the sutbol gogi bibimbap, and it was just what a I wanted - a heap ton of veggies w/ a little protein and more than enough rice. It was perfect. For dessert, I had the fish pastries filled with red bean paste and they are super good. Service was okay. Not perfect but not horrible at all. You'll get what you need, but don't be shy about asking for it. There is a private room for a large party so something to keep in mind. And there is plenty of parking but it's always crowded because of the market. Yelp #12 2022

Each and every time I come here, I'm impressed. This time, I brought my husband with me...and we decided to try this dish that scared me a little, in that it seemed too massive. The dish is called Cheese Deung Galbi Gui (AKA, Korean Baby Back Pork Ribs), and I've only tried it at a lesser restaurant once before with my parents way back when. Again, I thought this dish was too large to eat alone...plus, we planned on visiting other eateries nearby, so I ordered just this dish to share, along with a side order of Japchae. Well, the Galbi Gui was AMAZING!! The size of the plate was much smaller than what I had thought, but still, plenty enough for us to share. In addition to being spicy and cheesy, Pork Ribs were just fall-off-the-bones soft and tender...absolutely DEE-licious! Think both my husband and I were in heaven for a few minutes. The Japchae noodles were really good, but the veggies felt a bit weak. Guess the one disappointment was that the number of complimentary side dishes were reduced from 6 to 4 this time (again, probably due to Covid?), but still very yummy. Overall, the meal was beyond good...and the Cheese Deung Galbi Gui exceeded my expectations. I can never give anything less than 5 stars for my dining experience here! Despite the endless number of Korean restaurants in Duluth and the surrounding areas, this just may be my favorite Korean restaurant (non KBBQ format) in all of GA. Yes, THAT Good!!

I've been to Dish several times and their food is great, as long as you don't do takeout. The few times that I have, my entrees weren't as delectable as they were when I previously had them while dining inside the restaurant. The staff is great and you'll be seated immediately. Your food won't take long to arrive either, unless you order the Chicken Wings. But the wait is worth it - trust me! I often get the regular and spicy soy flavored Chicken Wings, and they're tasty! A few of the other dishes that are appetizing from this eatery are Kimchi Jeon, Haemul Pajeon, Jjampong Kalguksu, Sundubu Jjigae, Gomtang, Cheese and Egg Mari, and Korean Tacos. Their banchan (side dishes) is also varied and before you leave, you will be served a probiotic drink (Yakult).

We went to Dish Korean Cuisine yesterday for lunch at about 1 pm, and we had a good dining experience. The only issues we had were with service. Service from the two employees who were serving all the customers was not bad, but not great either, because there were times when both of them were available for about 5 minutes. We had to flag down service every time we needed something, and neither one of them came to our table to check on us the entire time we were there. Parking in the large and free parking lot was very much available since their next door neighbor, a very popular Malaysian restaurant, was closed for the day. There is an outside uncovered area that could be used as a patio, but it now has some stacked chairs against the side, and there are two picnic tables outside against the building which I think serve as waiting areas. We walked in and were greeted by one of the servers at the front counter. He told us that we'd have a short wait while he cleaned off a table for us. Only he never did clean off a table and left us awkwardly standing at the entrance waiting for him to clean off a table while he was doing something at the counter, so we looked at the visual menu at the counter. He then walked away and disappeared into the kitchen. A few minutes later the other server saw us, and she's the one who sat us down at a table that didn't need any cleaning and was already set up for two customers. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we ordered: Ttukbaegi Bulgogi (marinated thin sliced ribeye beef stew in hot pot) for me and Bulgogi Bibimbap (rice topped with vegetables, bulgogi and fried egg with hot chili paste) for R. 5 minutes later, we got five tiny bowls of banchan to share: creamy potato salad, pickled cabbage and hot peppers, pickled bean sprouts, kimchi, and sliced brown tofu skins. We were given refills whenever we requested more banchan. The pickled cabbage and hot peppers were crunchy and my favorite of the five, although all of the banchan were delicious. About 5 minutes after being served our banchan, our entrees arrived, and both of them had great presentation. My hot pot came with a small side bowl of white steamed rice. I gradually scooped the rice into my hot pot to get it cooled down, but that approach wasn't all that successful; the soup stayed hot throughout my meal. The soup was tasty and filling, and was filled with various vegetables, bulgogi and glass noodles. I loved the different textures and flavors all in one pot. The only thing I would change about this in the future is that I would add some sriracha or hot peppers to spike up the spiciness level. R didn't talk that much during the meal and inhaled his food. That means that he loved his bulgogi bibimbap. In our dining experience, the service inattentive and sometimes unavailable, but the food was great.

Well-lit and prompt, friendly service with tasty options for everyone-- what's not to love? We ordered the Ginseng Wang Galbi Tang, Sutbal Gogi Bibimbap, and Kimchi Jeon with one refill of banchan during our visit. Everything was well seasoned and food came out quickly. We didn't have to ask for a refill on the banchan, which is appreciated when they're all tasty! We look forward to coming back. Parking lot can get pretty packed on the weekends but it's likely you can still find some spots on the far end of the lot.

This place is so forgettable that I didn't remember that I'd been here once before until I saw the decor. I don't know what I had that time, something more along the lines of soup, I guess. Today, I was in the mood for Korean Fried Chicken, and knew that Hello Chicken wasn't good enough to make me stop looking for a new place. I should've known not to go to a non-specialty shop, but I was hungry, and planning on going grocery shopping at City Farmer's Market, which is in the same shopping center, so I thought I'd give Dish another try (since it also wasn't a memorably bad experience). I had the choice between a $23 Korean Fried Chicken order and ordering wings for considerably less. In retrospect, I should've asked if the wings were also KFC, but I was lazy and went ahead and got the half normal, half spicy/sweet flavor. I also ordered a ginger ale, since it's good to have a sugared drink with any peppered food. The ginger ale came out, a can of Canada Dry (personal preference, but in my opinion the worst of the mainstream ginger ales, behind both Schweppes and Seagrams), and a cup of ice. Also some tap water, and a modest array of mediocre bonchon. I picked at the bonchon with my chopsticks, futzed around on my phone and waited for the main course, running through most of the ginger ale in the process. Had it been a fountain drink, no big deal, but canned (not mentioned on the menu) meant I'd have to spent another $3.50 on another serving, so I resigned myself to drinking the tap water after the soda ran out. The chicken ultimately came out, I don't know how many dishes were featured on their flat screen, one after the other, first. They also brought a plastic glove so my hand wouldn't get messy, which I didn't use. I've only seen those at, like, Shaking Crawfish or other mediocre-seafood-in-hot-sauce-filled-plastic-bag places. Supposedly Cajun, not something I ever encountered in New Orleans, but whatever. It was hot enough to be hard to hold, which the glove wouldn't have helped. The regular chicken wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as other KFC I've had. Honestly, Hello Chicken is probably a little better. The other flavor, whatever it was, I wasn't impressed by. If I were going to choose one, I'd definitely go with the original. But, then, I won't be coming back, as it's not up to a standard of "don't bother going anywhere else"... Look, this is literally next door to Food Terminal, which is a solid step up in terms of consistently good dishes. I'm positive I can find better KFC somewhere near here, maybe the next attempt I make, when I'm in the mood for it. I will, however, eat the leftovers, because it's easier than cooking, and not bad. Oh, one last note: when they brought the receipt, it had a $5 drink on it and not a $3.50 drink. When I pointed it out, the waittress argued with me about it, so I went to the menu and confirmed what I already knew. They did correct it, but given they have bathroom signs saying "'MEN TO THE LEFT BECAUSE WOMEN ARE ALWAYS RIGHT" I found that amusing.

Great food and welcoming, helpful staff. Gotta love the Banchan! The kimchi pancakes are really good!

Stopped on for weekday lunch and was seated immediately. The menu is large so the waitress was helpful in recommending dishes. I had the bibimbap. Without the sauces it's bland but once you mix the sauce it's nice and tasty. It was a little smokey from folks getting hot pot so beware if you're really sensitive to that.

Ok, after my extremely unhappy experience 3 months ago, I was back at Dish today. All of us arrived at Chom Chom Vietnamese (Mamak pop up store) but was told the restaurant was closed permanently. I suggested going over to Dish since it was nearby. One of us reminded me I was so furious last time and said I would stop going there for a while. She was right, my usual "for a while" usually last more than 6 months. I said oh well, Dish was nearby and i would give the place a 2nd chance. After all, I really like the food and except the last visit, the service had always been good. Upon entering, the male staff checked our temperature and proceeded to squirt some sanitizer on our hands. He then led us to the largest table at the back. They have limit the capacity inside the restaurant and I feel good/safer eating here. Ordered the Kimchee fried rice with bulgogi. So delicious! I saw the same staff when I was there last time, she was so much nicer today. All forgiven ;) We were each given a bottle of probiotic drink at the end of our meal. All I wanted to do after was to grab my bubble tea at Yi Fang and go home (maybe to sleep, lol).

Wonderful experience, from the friendly staff, to the authentically prepared dishes, and even the ambiance/decor. You have a return visit from us!

The food was better than previous management. I don't like their tipping policy: 10% for takeout orders if it's more than $100? This tipping culture is getting out of control.

This spot is hands down the best Korean restaurant if your looking for something more affordable and good quality. Last Friday, my friends and I ordered the Egg Mari, Chicken Wings (plain and soy), Korean taco, and Doenjang Jigae (seafood soup). My favorites were the chicken wings and doenjang jigae, and chicken bibimbap. The chicken was fresh, crispy, was well flavored. The Doejang Jigae had a flavorful broth and fresh fish, and my bibimbap was delicious as always. The Korean taco wasn't bad. The sauce and chicken were just overly sweet. The Egg Mari was fresh, although it wasn't anything spectacular to me. I would come back to this place. They have great staff, serve quickly, and always prepare their meals consistently each time They are also very mindful of COVID regulation. This place is highly recommend!

The food was good and the reason I went there. We dined on a Wednesday night and there were about 6-7 tables with two servers. The servers seemed a little overwhelmed so refills on water took 3 asks and a hot sauce request took two asks. The table of Korean students next to us received rapid and attentive service. So there was that.

Love this place! Haven't had anything bad here. FOOD: Lucky Pocket - Pretty straightforward, it's a fried wrapper with cream cheese filling. The sauce is the yangnyeom (Korean sweet and spicy) sauce for yangnyeom chicken. Thought these wouldn't pair well but it was actually very tasty. Ttukbaegi Bulgogi - Marinated ribeye beef stew with glass noodles. Was super good, tasted like home cooking! Saeng-sun Gui - Pan-fried pompano fish with a soy based sauce and hints of lemon. The sauce is delish! I think it's a great dish to try if you've never had fish before since the lemon takes out a lot of the fishy smell and taste. Overall, it's a little bit on the pricy side but the food is so worth it!
