"This Korean grill is a good consideration for a celebratory group meal, and it doesn’t even matter that it’s inside teen-heavy Cumberland Mall. There’s a long central table that could sit 20, and there’s server-manned tableside electric grilling, so you can lose yourself in conversation and not have to worry about flipping your own short rib. Plus, a sleek interior of glossy tile walls and elaborate platters with branded mushrooms and edible garnishes feel grand. But prepare to spend a little more for it all. A two-person meat combo (tender marinated pork and five other good proteins) starts at $95 and a plate of run-of-the-mill vegetables costs $38. "This sleek and modern restaurant is a welcome addition to Cumberland Mall, located near Smyrna. The restaurant’s namesake, Ssamjang, is also a sauce made with fermented soybean paste commonly used to complement lettuce-wrapped barbecued meats, and here it’s offered as an appetizer with a choice of bulgogi, spicy pork, or chicken. The combo section is divided between regular and prime cuts of rib-eye, brisket, and marinated shrimp, and it even offers a vegetarian combo. All-you-can-eat is competitively priced at $33 and comes with side dishes such as pork and beef mandu, spicy rice cake, and ramyun.
