Google
Nice small place for wood baked pizza and italian cuisine. We went here to meet my cousin and his family. Good place to get wood baked pizza, really delicious I recommend especially the Pesto Mozzarella pizza.

The pizzas are eclectic and surprisingly DEE-LISH-OUS!!!! 😀 I love the atmosphere it's very Zen and calm and the vibes are great! Try it, you'll like it! 👍

Great service and very yummy food! Love the aesthetic of this restaurant as well. We came in right when it opened and we were greeted right away. We had to try the homemade bread for an appetizer and it was definitely yummy. We each got our own pizza which we had ALOT of leftovers but definitely worth it. Excited to try more on the menu next time we come in. Definitely check this place out you will not be disappointed.

Second time at this restaurant. Food is wonderful. Falora’s may have the best pizza dough in town. Show up early or make sure you have reservations. Do miss out on the fresh bread as a starter…you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great experience! The margarita and cura pizzas were really good and fresh. The crust was delicious. The zucchini salad was also really good and so was the Cavatelli. They have a lot of vegan options. Staff was also really helpful and gave us lots of cold water. We'll be coming again!

07DEC2024: As good as it gets, Caprese and Bianca pizza pie were delicious - Tip of the hat to Alix, also 5 star service. Thank you. Falora should have a Michelin Star! Dined in 11/16/2024, absolutely spectacular. Loved their nice wine selection (Read no Ecco Domani or Barefoot). Began with the Caprese – next level. We could clearly tell the ingredients were premium, the heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, so clean tasting. Of note, the olive tapenade and the smallest amount of lemon zest created a satisfying palette cleansing between each bite – 5 solid stars. The Bianca pizza was baked perfectly in their custom pizza pie oven and wow – the best ‘thin crust’ pie I have every had – truly. Finally, the staff is attentive and worked as a team. Again, 5-star service. In closing, this is a smaller, intimate dining experience. I see some reviews suggesting they didn’t like being asked to wait outside if they arrived without a reservation?!? These individuals should have their review privileges stripped. Plan ahead, make a reservation (Especially on a weekend) – or wait out outside with a smile. No seated diner wants you standing right next to their table and then dinging the review because you were asked to wait outside – shame on these neanderthals. Loved Falora and will return – often, and if I fail to plan ahead – I will be the guy just outside smiling!

Delicious unique and many plant based options! Have been back several times and everything is divine. The cauliflower pizza is my fav.

Yelp
This pizza is divine. Impeccable crust, so flavorful and perfectly crispy. Ambiance is lovely and perfect for a romantic dinner or dinner with friends. Seems like they could use more staff, but server and host were incredibly gracious and kind. Cura without olives is my absolute fav! Make sure to order the bread and oil as well, it's heavenly right from the oven.

Yelp
Vegan, so if you're not into it you'll need more substance to the food Taste was good and place is nice and cozy

Yelp
I ordered a pizza from here while I was inside of the bar, sidecar, I got the Bianca pizza and added pepperoni. It was very good, even the crust was yummy. They are 12 inch pizzas so not too big. Definitely would get it again if I'm back at sidecar

Yelp
This cute pizzeria is located in a shopping center on Broadway and Country Club. The Italian inspired atmosphere passes was the cutest place for a girls night. Service was fast and friendly. They were knowable about their items on the menu and gave suggestions. I ordered the Butter Pecan Salad- so fresh and delicious! We also had the Cura (pepperoni pizza) and the Panna Cotta. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Not impressed. The place inside is TINY so a reservation is a must. Just send them an email on their website. All of the wood around the restaurant they use for the pizza oven is a nice touch. Service was great and the pizza came out super fast. We shared the Giardino pizza but unfortunately it severely lacked flavor. The crust was perfect but it was just crust, cheese, and vegetables. No garlic or seasoning of any kind. The vegetables were sparse. The chili oil added zero flavor and wasn't even hot. I asked for a side of parm, which is about a tablespoon and they charged extra for it without warning. This helped add flavor plus covering the pizza in chili flakes. I'm glad I finally tried this place but I don't plan on returning.

Yelp
We shared a Margherita and a pepperoni pizza. They were both good solid wood fired pizzas. We also had the Cavatelli, I was not a big fan, the noodles were so thick that it dominated any other flavors. The service was great and restaurant was beautiful.

Yelp
After hearing some good things about Falora from a friend we decided to give this place a try. We walked up and after a bit we were greeted and asked if we have a reservation, we did not but there seemed to be plenty of tables available. After about 10 minutes we were seated. The restaurant was nice they're really trying to make it seem high end but still casual. There was a bottle of water and some olives waiting on the table. We were greeted by the server and after looking over the menu we ordered. My daughter got the margherita pizza. My wife and I split the cavatelli and the el fauxrizo pizza. After a bit the food came out, the cavatelli was pretty good but only slightly larger than an appetizer, my daughter's pizza looked great and she enjoyed it. The pizzas were much smaller than I had expected and on paper thin crust which tastes great but was not super filling. The fauxrizo pizza had a tasty green sauce on top but otherwise had very little toppings. There was maybe a single piece or maybe two of chorizo per slice and a sprinkle of beans. I guess there was corn but it was hard to tell because there was so little of it. I know some people like a pizza without very many toppings, but I myself really prefer a pizza with more toppings on it. Overall it was a decent dinner and the service was friendly but I left wishing I had ordered another entrée because I was still rather hungry when I got home.

Yelp
Great pizza option in Tucson, thin crust with just the right amount of char ---Margherita pizza: simple but when this is done right you know they know what they're doing ---za zucca: interesting but I always prefer the red sauce pies The place is small so I'd recommend reservations if you can!

Yelp
Salads are delicious! No seating inside but the outside seating despite the fact that it's on broadway wasn't too bad. The freshly baked bread and spread was great and The Kale salad was very tasty with some unique flavors that reminded me of being in the forest. Great friendly service and everything was reasonably priced.

Yelp
Falora is a charming little Italian spot with very good pizza and a solid set of vegan options and substitutions. First things first: we're bread fiends, and their bread was GREAT. It came out so hot I almost burned my fingers on it, and was absolutely delicious -- especially when dipped in balsamic and olive oil. 10/10, no notes. Will absolutely order again! For pizzas, we got the Arrosto (a sauceless pizza with feta, eggplant, yukon gold potatoes, dates, and white truffle oil) and a Marinara pizza with added vegan mozzarella and vegan chorizo. While I really enjoyed the flavors of the Arrosto, particularly the salty-sweet-earthy play between the dates, feta, and potatoes, it was a little on the dry side. We were really happy to have flexibility of so many vegan options, and plan to go back and try more pizzas and salads! One note: it got LOUD over the course of the evening. When we first arrived, it was lively but quiet enough to easily chat. Over the course of our meal, it ended up getting so loud that we actually gave up trying to talk because we couldn't hear each other at all. It might be worth trying to go at less busy times if you're sensitive to noise or just prefer a quieter atmosphere.

Yelp
Cozy romantic atmosphere and perfect service. We tried a vegan pizza, the gnocchi and chocolate torte. All were delicious! Such a lovely experience. Thank you for such amazing vegan options!!
google avatar

Cory W.

Yelp
Seating is limited so with reservations we had to sit at the small bar area. It ended up being a great seat as we could watch the magic of the pizzas being made! I have a pizza oven at home so I can be a bit of a wood fired pizza snob. My pizza was spot on with a nice even bake on the crust and the bottom held the weight of the toppings nicely. I'd definitely go back again if in the Tucson area!
google avatar

Gretchen P.

Yelp
Always good Italian pizza, delicious dough and bread, and tasty butternut and kale salads with their own cashew dressing! Vegan cheese options too.
google avatar

Kenzie G.

Yelp
Good food and nice ambiance. Service was quick and friendly. The pizza was delicious just a bit light on the toppings. I got their pepperoni and Kalamata olive pizza and I'm not really exaggerating when I say there was about an olive per slice . But the taste was there, just would have loved some additional toppings

Yelp
Second visit - just as good as the first...Heirloom caprese and a Bianca Pizza Pie - Wonderful. Special shout out to Alix who took exceptional care of us and made the evening extra special - see you soon Falora!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is fantastic, and my partner and I love all the vegan options. I was concerned that I wouldn't find anything to eat on the menu after I recently learned I have gluten sensitivity. I shouldn't have worried! When we made our reservation, they noted my sensitivity and delivered a delicious Butter Pecan salad to me and the El Fauxrizo to my partner. They even had several gluten-free dessert options! We selected the raspberry topped panna cotta. Yum! As usual, the service was attentive but not overbearing. We also enjoy the vibe. We'll be back!

Yelp
I had dinner here last night with three friends. We sat outside, because there was a 30-45 minute wait for an indoor table. The weather was nice, so it was pleasant, though the server did not come around very often. We split three dishes: Manhattanara pizza ($17.95), which comes with mushrooms and gorgonzola; Figaro pizza ($17.95), which comes with brie, figs and walnuts; and panna cotta ($7.95), which comes with homemade jam on top. Although the Manhattanara was my choice, I ended up not really liking it; I guess I don't like gorgonzola after all. The Figaro was better, though I can't say I loved it. The panna cotta was great. In general, the pizzas are unusual, and many are vegetarian. Overall, my experience was not bad but not as good as I had expected. (This was my first visit in many years.)
google avatar

Mildred O.

Yelp
It's cozy inside with a few tables. It was a little hot inside, but likely due to the pizza oven. The service was friendly and attentive. The bread came out hot and the pizzas came soon after. The crust was thin and slightly charred. There were unique pizza flavors, but subtle and not in your face.
google avatar

D. J.

Yelp
What a great little find during our spring break weekend trip with the kidlet. It's a small, well designed place. Great pizzas (although the crust was a little saggy), delicious salads, and attentive (but not hovering) service. The kidlet loved the flourless chocolate cake and refused to share. The vanilla panna cotta had a pleasing taste but was a little runny. Would we go back? You betcha.

Yelp
Small dining room with 2 long wood tables that seat 8, 3 tables for 3, 4 stools at the bar and a table for 6, and a Small patio out front with 3-4 tables. With the first hour 4-5PM being Happy, Felora fills quickly. I mean $10 Margheritas and half off B+W!! And we finished eating just after 5PM, and folks were lining up waiting for tables to be cleaned. With a small room, they discernibly keep the large tables for 6 or 8 so 2's may get stuck as time ticks on. They take resys so be wise and make the call. New to town, so we'll be on cue next trip also. With about 3 other small tables and 2 at the bar, it took about 10 mins to get water, which comes with a small side of Green Olives once seated; seems there was just 1 server and a runner, so we were ready to order when the water came, so as not to miss our chance. Food came quicker it seems than it took to get the water haha. $11 Kale salad with cashew dressing is on the sweet side which turned hubby off but pouring the brine from olives over salad helped a lot for me and I very much enjoyed, but it could not save the day for him. Lemon and tamari at home would change that :) Kale is well massaged and not dry, lots of artichokes probably 8-9 long quarters, a few sundrieds and even less kalamatas. Ingredients are indeed very fresh and I would still order it again. We skipped the HHr Specials this time and got the $16.95 Cura, with roasted garlic and Sopressata. Being a true wood fired oven, it chars the Neopolitan pie dough beautifully to a pleasing crispness on bite and expect your fingers to be a lil' blackened as you make your way through the slices. It was delicious, the San Marzano sauce has a bit of acidic tang and the porky saltiness of the cured salami is prominent, all softened by the soft garlic, parmigiano and creamy mozzarella. As Portlanders, we have several top pizza stops in US and James Beard winners (Ken's Artisan, Oven+Shaker, Apizza Scholls) and really spoilt for choice even outside aforementioned--Life of Pie, Sizzle Pie, Nostrana, Ranch. Falora is definitely with them, and actually in last year+ one of the best pies I've had, having just moved here. Music to your ears from in house vinyl deck that further enhanced the fab first dining experience here... Hubby has every album since his Freshman year of HS, now some 2200 albums and counting, from The Byrds, Joni, and Jimi to The Sadies, Starf#cker and Foster the People. Think I saw a vinyl sharing postcard on way out, bring a record get a margherita? Bonus, free parking in back with cute Side Car bar next door, and across street, too convenient Desert Island Records to build that collection and/or help Faloras, Ombre Coffee, Barrio Bread, wine shop, and Natural Grocers, it's one stop shopping for sure! Counting my Carb Days until I may return, esp to sample house made pasta, 1/2 off vino, a local varietal that notes licorice root, blackberries, black cherries & graphite. Couldn't pencil it out any better, Ciao Falora!

Yelp
This place is so freaking CUTE! Love the intimate setting for date night. The pizza was delicious, but my favorite was the Cesar salad! Those piece of cheese were EVERYTHING!!! Also, GET THE BREAD AND OLIVE OIL *chefs kiss.

Yelp
Since I loved the pizza here, I decided to go back to see if the service improved. The manager/owner reached out to me with a sincere apology for my experience and encouraged me to give their restaurant another visit. I was very pleased this time. The staff was friendly and professional. I'm glad to see that the service improved!

Patti H.

Yelp
I love Falora! Although it is very small (so be sure to have a reservation if you want to sit inside), it has a great menu with options for both meat eaters and those of us who eat mainly plant-based. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I haven't anything there that I didn't like. The hazelnt gnocchi is delicious as are any of the pizzas!
google avatar

Leah R.

Yelp
There are very few times when I come across a restaurant in Tucson and ask myself why I don't go more often. I haven't been to Falora in more than two years just because I don't live nearby. Randomly went to the movies on this side of town and stopped by to eat at the bar. I loved everything about this experience. The raviolo with Brie blew my mind- the toasted pine nuts were an exceptional touch. I can't help but feel that I need to make the effort to come back more often. Well done.
google avatar

Eniola I.

Yelp
I haven't explored this side of town for food yet. But my friends went to this place to try it out, and unfortunately they have work to do. First, the waitress was unprofessional and rude to use when we were asked for our orders. Second, the pizza was decent and a bit soggy, which was very weird. Third, they did not put our pizzas in a pizza box rather than a weird box for pasta. Also our dessert came in a coffee cup, which was weird again. I don't think we will come back until they fix their service or change in leadership.
google avatar

Robert J.

Yelp
Fun evening with friends. The food was great, unique salad, delicious pasta and pizza. Great service from Zach and Erin

Yelp
Visited here with a friend some days ago and was happy to be able to cross this place off of my list. We originally sat inside but it felt like an igloo so we chose the patio instead, which was beautiful at sunset. The restaurant is a lot smaller than I imagined inside, with no more than probably 10 tables. I was pleasantly surprised by the tastiness of the thin pizza and unique options from what I've had in the past. The Giardino pizza was perfect really. However I added sauce which was $1 and meat which was $3, making my pizza $25, which I thought was pretty outrageous for the size of the pizza. I also ordered the zucchini noodles, and though they were fresh, crunchy, and as described on the menu, I was not the biggest fan. It just seemed to be missing something. I used salt and pepper and it was okay. I ordered another pizza to go.. it had garlic cloves and came with sausage already in it. That pizza was disappointing. My friend also felt her pizza was bland and mediocre. Though I enjoyed my Giardino pizza, I don't think I would return, as there's not many meat pizza options here and I don't think is the best value.

Violet K.

Yelp
Food bomb. Service bomb. Ambiance bomb. Honestly love the pizza here, workers are super friendly and if you become a regular they'll most likely show they recognize you. The inside is a little small but it's honestly perfect considering if it was bigger the kitchen probably can't keep up with the quality and demands.
google avatar

Joann B.

Yelp
Loved everything I ate here. I was very appreciative to receive a small dish of olives upon being seated. I had the caesar salad and margherita pizza. I was surprised that my salad had butter lettuce instead of romaine, but it hit the spot nonetheless. The salad had full sized leaves, so this salad needed to be eaten with a knife and fork. There was the perfect amount of dressing in each bite, but not so much that the salad looked drenched. It did come with anchovies on top, but I don't partake, so I just moved them off to the side. It was a good sized salad and could actually be a meal in itself, I'm just a glutton. The pizza was great. There was a slight char from the oven, but everything was cooked just right, it had the perfect level of melty-ness. The bread was crunchy, soft and a little chewy all at once. Their tomato sauce was seasoned well, not too acidic or salty or sweet. This was the best margherita pizza I've had so far. You should definitely try Falora.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Falora is just not fair. Their margherita pie is one of the most delicious I've had in Tucson. It's seriously good. If they used a creamy mozzarella or buffalo mozzarella, it would be stellar. The sauce is sweet -- not overly so -- and it's the highlight of the ingredients. The dough is the perfect thinness and is charred just enough to bring out the chewyness and flavor. So, why is Falora not fair? These excellent pies are too small. You can't have too much of a good thing and so I bought two. The caprese was very good. For dessert, I had the panna cotta. It's silky rubberiness was spot on in its texture. It was the best I've ever had. I should have ordered two of these, too. My mistake and I'll know better next time.
google avatar

Desiree B.

Yelp
Wow this place really surprised me, it had amazing pizza and great options for people with dietary restrictions. We ordered the bread with oil and vinegar, the margarita pizza with no cheese and the Figaro pizza. The crust is amazing the Figaro pizza has brussel sprouts, fig, brie, and walnuts and yes it sounds crazy but so freaking delicious. The margarita pizza with no cheese had a great amount of sauce and roasted garlic and you don't miss the cheese. The bread was made with their crust and was so good. We had a salad with butter lettuce, apples, walnuts and onions, the dressing was so good. Love this pizza joint and with all the pizza places in Tucson this is definitely a hit. We will be back.

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Great vegan options!! I tried their hazelnut gnocchi, vegan margarita and the torta for dessert. Everything was delicious and the food was prepared so fast! If you're looking for a cute Italian restaurant with good vegan options this is it!
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food. I loved the Giardino pizza. Despite the heavy amount of veggies the pizza wasn't soggy but perfectly crispy and delicious. The Bianca was so flavorful and loved the big pieces of basil. The Aperol splitzer is perfect for sharing. The Caesar salad with the large leaves and pieces of cheese was so good. A few sardines in them but it really enhanced the flavor. We sat inside on a Friday at 430 and it wasn't too busy. The service was great and the food even better.
google avatar

Lydia D.

Yelp
Falora is truly amazing. Such a unique spot for Tucson. The food is phenomenal and authentic. They have a ton of vegan options and everything on the menu feels special. You know how in most places a salad feels like "just a salad"? Not here. The Kale salad is hands down the best salad I've ever had. My other favorites are the marinara pizza or la cauliflora. The ambience is warm and intimate - it's a great place to bring a date or to catch up with a friend/family member.

Madi S.

Yelp
Slow service. Terrible local joint pizza dough is rough and uneasy to bite into, the cheese is poor quality but they price it like its quality. No quality meats nor toppings. There service is even worse waitress took ages to bring my food and the slowest service ever. Hated this place way too expensive and horrible food experience never recommend

Diego V.

Yelp
I've lived in Tucson all my life and this pizza has to be top three I've tried. It's thin and crispy, just down my alley. The service however, was mediocre. Other than that, highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow. Visited Tucson for four days and ate out every meal, mostly following the NYT 36 hrs recommendations. Falora served the best meal I had the whole time. Fabulous, seriously gourmet food at a ridiculously reasonable price. Great service, great salads, pizza, dessert. The chef and kitchen are clearly very talented, translating a sophisticated and innovative palate to the plate. Really fantastic. Call ahead to make a reservation.

Yelp
Best pizza in Tucson, even with so much great competition! The ambiance of the space is unbeatable. You walk up to a beautiful brick building and enter a mid-century modern style dining setup with select seating inside overlooking an open kitchen as well as a beautiful patio. Honestly this place feels like hanging out in someone's really nice home with great food. Their service is the best, so helpful and kind. Always helping me to decide what to order! They always have vinyl spinning and start your meal with incredible house made olives. My go to items are the Butter Pecan Salad and the Cura Pizza, perfect balance of sweet and salty. We've also tried the Margherita and Bianca, which were tasty, the Pesto is certainly on my list. Their balsamic is some of the best I've ever had, well worth ordering their house made pasta and trying the Caputo Raviolo! They also sell their pizza dough and sauce which is great for making your own pizzas at home. My only wish is that their patio seating had some heat in winter, because it gets quite cold and the inside seating fills up fast. You need a reservation on weekends for sure! It is well worth calling ahead.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
We went here for happy hour and had a great experience! Their margherita pizza was delicious - the cheese especially was fantastic, totally the good stuff. We got to sit at the bar and see the ins and outs of how they make their pizza, which was also a nice touch. They also have half off beer and wine, which is an amazing deal that we enjoyed! Definitely will be back!

S S.

Yelp
This place is a real treasure! Excellent crust on the pizzas, super salads (large enough to share) . The wait staff is friendly and really good at their job. Everything my group ordered was delicious .

Amanda S.

Yelp
I expressed some concerns about the very slow service and some other issues we had at a recent dinner here and the owner was quick to address and make it right. The pizzas were excellent quality and tasty with a lot of creative topping options. The homemade pasta dish we had was okay but tiny portion for the cost. The indoor ambiance is cute but the porch could use some improvement to be more inviting.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place because of the rave reviews from friends and on Yelp. However, my experience was one of the worst I've had in Tucson. We ordered two pizzas. Both of them came out burnt. The bottoms were completely black. Our fingertips were completely black from picking up one piece. I understand that this oven is wood and very high heat, but burnt pizza that is inedible is not the outcome of the oven - it's poor time management. We asked for a remake or refund because we couldn't eat the pizzas. My husband was immediately offered a remake. I was told that there was no point in remaking my pizza because it would come out the same. Our pizzas were equally black/burnt. Being treated differently than my husband and told that I would just have to eat a burnt pizza (I had my choice of my first burnt pizza or a second burnt pizza) made me feel so disrespected. I was very polite and turned down the redo and decided to just eat at home. A second employee came to deliver my husband's redo (which was slightly less burnt, but still not good) and he convinced me to try a second pizza. When it came it was raw in the middle and burnt on the edges. Perhaps a slight improvement over my first burnt pizza, but still inedible. I tried to eat the parts I could, but ended up leaving hungry and disappointed. If you want great pizza and servers who treat men and women with the same respect - head over to Caio Down Pizza instead and skip this place altogether. I would give this place 1 star, but have been convinced to give it 2 since they only charged us for one pizza. It's the only thing that they did correctly.

Bonnie J.

Yelp
Best wood fired pie in Tucson. Friendly team. I just wish the space was a little bigger.

Annie L.

Yelp
Came here tonight with my husband and we have come in a couple of times before, but this time felt different. Our waitress was unbelievably attentive and made us feel like we were having dinner at a friends house! She had incredible wine knowledge and talked us into getting a bottle of a local wine that was some of the best I've ever had. Service was amazing, Pizza was great, we will be back soon.
google avatar

Stephen B.

Yelp
Made it to town and looked forward to a brick oven pizza after getting settled. My normal stop was unavailable. First time at Falora as a result. Expectations were exceeded. I had a marina pizza with mozzarella, a white pizza, and a kale salad. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were exceptional. The staff was super friendly. I will repeat and highly recommend! Awesome.
google avatar

Whitney S.

Yelp
This place is awesome! One word FLAVOR Zach was a wonderful waiter. We started with a bottle of wine - super affordable. A kale salad which was amazing, the dressing is cashew based and I'm hoping to take some home. We ordered the pesto pizza and added some sausage. Admittedly I was a little skeptical of ordering vegan sausage since I'm a carnivore...but the pizza was also really tasty. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came in with an open mind; I'm usually your greasy, cheesey gooey goodness pizza kind of girl. Here's the rundown: +Beautiful atmosphere, great lighting and comfortable seating +Service; Had two kids under the age of seven and they were gracious and kind! +My husband's glass of wine was delicious +We ordered the margarita pizza, and I will say the crust was very good, and the cheese that I did have on my pie was tasty! The sauce also tasted very fresh. -I wish there was more cheese on my pizza. It was like one blob, maybe two. Maybe that's a more traditional way of serving pizza, but I wanted more! -We ordered the cavatelli pasta and I was underwhelmed. The pasta itself had a great texture despite needing more flavor. The description read better than it tasted. I also would have liked a larger portion for what I was paying.

Yelp
A quaint restaurant with excellent salads and pizza. Service was genial and knowledgeable and not overbearing. Check it out, you won't regret Falora.
