Noah's Rockin' Buns

My boyfriend brought some of the dumplings home for me and holy smokes these things are ✨phenomenal✨. HIGHLY recommend!!!! I have had their buns before and they are a real treat!!

This is my second time trying this food truck and both experiences have been wonderful!! The Asian chicken tacos are off the charts!! The chicken is so crispy and the sauce is to die for!! Also, by far the BEST fries from a food truck I've ever had! An absolutely wonderful meal!

I would recommend these to everyone, no question. Flavors are 10/10. We ordered 3 different types of buns (2 chicken and 1 brisket) and I couldn’t decide on a favorite.

Not very many places have bao buns and I was excited to finally be able to catch up with Noah's Rockin Buns. We drove to Richmond, stood in the cold and were the first ones there. We stood in the cold while Noah made us the chicken and brisket buns. I also got the kimchi side stickers. It Was ABSOLUTELY worth the cold and the wait. Weed through all those one or two star reviews. They have NO idea what they are talking about! This is worth the wait, the cold, and the drive! Noah was super friendly and chatted with us while he hooked up and got everything going, meaning he didn't just ignore us. The food was hot, fresh and everything I wanted that day. If you have never had a bao bun think about eating the most tinder brisket or perfect chicken snuggled in a cloud that's ever so slightly sweet. Dare I say it's heaven in your mouth, I dare. I will follow this truck every chance I get. Do yourself a favor find Noah and get a bao bun! I have never had kimchi that I can recall and the kimchi stickers were amazing! Whatever kimchi is and just the right amount of salt on top! Yummy!!!!! Thanks Noah we will see you again soon!!!!

These Bao Buns were amazing!!!! Incredible!!! Flavor was on point!!!! I order for Father’s Day and had them delivered!!! He didn’t disappoint!!! His sticky Asian was KILLER!!! All his FOOD WAS OOOOOOO MY GOODNESS HEAVEN!!!! So fresh!! Gooooo now and you some!!!

These guys killed it at Iron Blossom. Had fried chicken and brisket bao buns with the kimchi dumplings on the side. Best festival food ever and I’m sure it would be awesome even if we weren’t at a festival. Thanks for the awesome food!

I’ve had the pleasure of catching Noahs Rockin Buns at a few breweries around Richmond and I’ve never been disappointed. Soft, pillowy buns packed with bold, crave-worthy fillings that hit every tastebud. The Asian sticky chicken is my personal favorite, but you can’t go wrong with any of the options. Plus, the service is warm and friendly, making you feel like a regular from the moment you walk up. Proceed with caution, one bite and you’re hooked!

This was my first time trying Noah's Rockin' Buns (Bao buns, for anyone who might not know what the name implies - clever word play, Noah). I got the chicken bao buns and the spicy sauce because I was feeling adventurous. My husband got the smoked beef brisket bao buns. Of course I had to throw in on dessert bao buns too, just to try them. I had never had bao buns before, but was aware of the "steamed bun" concept and recent trend based on this Asian culture staple. Noah's are really light and have a soft texture, which aligns with everything that I have read about this type of bread substitute. I thought the bao buns were really good. The savory ones have a really great combo of meat and toppings, and the sauce really brings it all together. I liked both the chicken and beef. Each had unique flavors. The spicy sauce for the chicken ones was a great choice as it offset the delicate flavor of the bun. Oh and this place has great service. We had only a 15 minute wait past our online order time yet they gave us free rockin potato chips which we didn't realize until getting home. That wasn't necessary- but thanks! Those were nice and crisp and salty. If you like wraps or tacos, try these as something a little different.
