My Hanh Seafood

Ok just like Mango Nguyen said in an order a few days ago, the seafood fried rice was just terrible. First, I walked up at 430pm and 1 table was taken in the whole place, first I said I'd have a beer and they didn't want me to stay but I said an appetizer too and they let me in, oh thanks! Order a pint which was cold I'll give them that. Patiently waited with menu down for a bit and finally ordered the seafood fried rice. Was now looking forward to a great pre dinner (dinner in a few hours already planned) for some yummy goodness. It arrives, as you see in the picture it looked great! I dug in expecting pure love and joy but it ended up with the most bland meal I've had, even white bread had more flavor. No seasonings, shrimp wasn't stir fried and if steamed it was literally frozen food dry as hell, same for the calamari (maybe that's what it was), totally let down. Second picture is what I left after attempting to make this a better meal. For a "Michelin mentioned" place, you expect all of their dishes are good but not at all. I paid my bill and left, I'm not one to ask for discounts and would rather just let you all know to never order this at this place. Also, sorta rude to make people order when it's dead inside and everyone was avoiding to ask if I wanted another drink or if the food is ok. Maybe new management/ owner that is clueless, sorry do some spot checks on your place. Going for some pho to wash down this disappointment.

I have been a frequent customer since the previous owner was in charge and I have consistently had a wonderful experience over the years at Mỹ Hạnh. The quality of the seafood here is always excellent and incredibly fresh. My recommendation for the most authentic experience is to skip the printed menu and go directly to the tanks to select your seafood and have it weighed. On my most recent visit, the tôm sóc tỏi was a highlight because it was prepared with crispy rice, which provided a perfect crunch and unique texture. Additionally, the canh chua cá nâu is a classic dish that they execute perfectly; it is simple but incredibly flavorful and well-balanced. This restaurant remains a reliable and high-quality destination for anyone looking for authentic seafood in Da Nang. Bonus get a table by the beach.

I visited My Hanh Seafood today and it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh Vietnamese seafood, and everything I tried was cooked with great flavor and balance. The ingredients felt fresh, the seasoning was authentic, and the taste truly reflects the local culinary style of Da Nang. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing, with a nice view and a comfortable dining area that adds positively to the overall experience. The staff were polite, attentive, and quick to assist whenever needed. Service was smooth, and the food arrived on time without unnecessary delays. What I appreciated most was how well the dishes were prepared simple clean, and full of natural seafood taste without overpowering sauces. It’s a great place for anyone who wants to enjoy Vietnamese-style seafood in a clean and organized setting. Overall, My Hanh Seafood is worth visiting if you’re in Da Nang. Good food, good service, and a truly local seafood experience. I definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back again.

Selection of seafood is excellent! Pham Thi Tham has been very hospitable in making our family dinner very special. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms. Protein has been executed well without being overcooked , however cooking style has a resounding sweetness throughout all dishes. Just not our cup of tea when it comes to higher sugar content in cooking style. However, I would be open to coming back to try additional items off the menu IF we make it back to Danang . Nice job My Hanh team!

We asked for a seating outside which had a great sea view. Apparently it's only for people who opt for drinks, and people who have food could only sit inside🤷. The food is not great, not sure how is it in the Michelin star restaurant. The food is fresh, can't argue with that but it's not worth the money. The service could have been better, there was only one person who was taking all orders and we weren't attended well. We had to wait a bit to order. The food arrived on time though. Our experience could have been much better if the taste suited the price and ambience. 2/5 only for the noodles that we had.

The portions were huge! I'm very grateful to the server who deterred me from ordering an even larger crab. The food was good. I suggest if you're particular about the sauce or butter for your crab, you might ask more questions because I ordered garlic sauce thinking it was going to simply be garlic and it was very sweet. Overall the prices are a little high high but to be expected for seafood in Da Nang. The ambiance seaside can't be much better.

Have never been ghosted so much at a restaurant. After a while in the restaurant they point me up to the second floor. Most tables has plates and leftovers on them. I walk around a little trying to get attention from staff but nothing. I feel I could have grabbed a lobster and went to kitchen to cook it myself and nobody would have reacted. We just left. The food from tables looked good. But just as good as the neighboring restaurants.

Fancy place that has great views. But don’t step in there for food as their food is horrible and service so-so. We went there for breakfast and the gilled set we ordered was laced with commercial grade sauce and salt. The bread served didn’t come with any butter or condiments. The coffee wasn’t hot enough. There are much better options at far cheaper prices. My two word assessment: “don’t go”
